621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: July 03, 2019, 11:42:03 PM
Altcoins weren't weaker against bitcoin, the growth hasn't taken place in a large scale as expected. When paired with USDT or other stablecoins we can see some form of growth. The same when paired against bitcoin the value is found low, this is because of the increased percentage of growth with bitcoin than altcoins. Probably there will be mutual growth at some point which can be expected over the falling weeks. Considering the same it is good to fill the bags with altcoins.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: July 03, 2019, 11:24:25 PM
Hey what do you think, can scenario of January repeat? I mean can everything suddenly fall again?
I think it may possible because cryptocurrency is unexpected and the future will not be unpredictable so if it's suddenly fall again then no one will regret that it is the fact we need to accept everything.
As everything is decentralized the market can be manipulated to smaller level, beyond that the growth happens without any disturbance. Just consider the days of February when we're close to $3200, and by July we've reached close to $1400 and now moving around $12000. This is how the change takes place. We can move with it, always need to be prepared to face the reality.
623  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you buy a house? on: July 03, 2019, 12:11:20 AM

I don't have 500 kbc, but I'm in for 1,500 bc.  However, you don't seem very serious about selling this house.

Well, for 1.5K no, I'm not serious at all Smiley It's not an auction because I will not sell for less than what I paid for, which is what I advertised. I am dead serious about selling it, though, as it is on the market already.

I do not know if I will sell it for bitcoins, because right now it is very hard to convert them to cash even for small amounts, and I will need the cash. I could be persuaded to do part bitcoins though, and even all bitcoins if the market trend continues in the upward direction, but you are right, this is just a discussion starter, not (yet) an actual proposal.

You may be in a rude awakening when you have to sell for a price cheaper than you bought it for.  Many boomers in USA bought huge houses and the younger generation doesn't have the money to purchase them at their request prices.  Market forces dictate they have to lower the price if they want to sell their house.  IF your house is sitting on the market for too long it means your price is too high.

I am not sure whether you are out of mind you digging all the threads everyday! I didn't notice what is the opening date of the spread it is around 2010 it is almost from starting a day of Bitcoin to now.
hope you can understand what is the difference from that day to now and how Bitcoin emerged in the society as a payment mode.
Thread digging is good, because we won't get to go through such a way an user has posted to sell a house back in 2010 in exchange for Cryptocurrency. With this I can understand that people have known much about its potential to get served as a currency and now the scenario is different. Lot of housing promoters and properties have begun accepting bitcoin which seems to be the step by step growth from such incidents that serve as the base.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market season change to bullrun? on: July 02, 2019, 11:53:27 PM
Has the bear season really ended and changed into the bull season?

It did, yes, it started back in Feb/March. But obviously prices have been dropping again recently. The question now is whether this is just a correction after the big increase, or whether market sentiment has now turned bearish again.

I'm sure this is just a correction, no way the market will still be bearish despite of the big news this year, Libra had some contribution to the price hype so it's correcting now, actually, I don't expect a lot, I'm still happy if we will not break the ATH but we should stay over $10,000.
Libra doesn't have any form of relation with bitcoin price move, libra just got on its way. Users just gave it a hype as it is getting launched from facebook which is already an established network. The market had a good inflow of investment which kept the market continue on the growing phase. Now the correction is taking place which will soon start moving forward slowly.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos it is a Ethereum-killer? on: July 02, 2019, 11:36:47 PM
Do you believe ATOM can become a top 3 coin?
I think that this coin can become the top3 ecosystem in the  cryptocurrencyк world. Do you think this is possible? Now there are very few competitors for ATOM?I think that's alt it is the best  ever.
ATOM to the top!
We can't come to the conclusion whether it'll come to the top three or not with the growth it has been experiencing. From my understanding about the market atom has got potential, but I don't find this to be competitor to the ethereum. I request Op to give some strong reason that gives the thinking that Cosmos is an ethereum killer.
626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEM BLOCKCHAIN COURSES IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 02, 2019, 11:20:46 PM
Philippines is really a crypro friendly country, and in fact government allow blockchain courses in some Universities,
List of Universities Offering NEM Blockchain Courses in the Philippines

There is something fundamentally wrong with this statement of yours. There has never been any hindrance in any country where governments stop people from studying anything related to cryptography or blockchain. But studying either of these two subjects is not synonymous to studying 'cryptocurrencies' per se.  Many of the university courses you listed are just light courses that gives you a basic overview of what Blockchain is, rather than focusing on core development skills that are needed to be an all round blockchain developer.
At present basic learning is a must, and universities providing the same is really appreciable. It isn't that easy to get core elements to give exercises and make students understand about blockchain. Even to the tutors it'll be something new, what's been laid as a base will flourish with time as each and everything is getting tied up with blockchain.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: July 01, 2019, 11:14:50 PM
Shits are called shit for some reason and these are just pump dump based coins not project based, 1% of those pump and no one know their bottom obviously Cheesy.
If you talk about coins like Egretia and thrcoin which gave more than 10000% ROI in just few months without any working product, so only some people know which coin they are going to pump.
These are exceptions, there are coins that suddenly give big percentage growth but doesn't have good trading volume. This makes the coins go unused even after large scale growth. Soon after getting listed to the exchanges it can be easily found, and if it is found as a shitcoin need to sell it at the earliest without holding for big gains.
628  Economy / Speculation / Re: New High... For Everything. What'll happen next? on: July 01, 2019, 10:11:12 PM
Breaking the $10000 margin there is faster growth as expected, and further the market has begun to fall slowly reaching close to $10000. Once again can expect good growth over the days, and as a beginning the market price of bitcoin has crossed $10500 with top altcoins experiencing growth while the rest were just red blooded.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uganda says cryptocurrency is risky on: July 01, 2019, 09:33:21 PM
In simple terms what we see in the list provided with the ranking of the countries that adopted as well that have been against bitcoin gives some clear visibility about those countries stand. Japan, Germany and USA are already developed and they need to grow further.

India is a growing economy, Bangladesh - Fastest growing economy in the world, Pakistan and Uganda - Out of several political issues try to make some development. As the countries against bitcoin were into the growth phase they fear bitcoin might interrupt the growth or will cause some negative impact to the economy.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: July 01, 2019, 09:01:59 PM
Monero already has got its highest price to be close to $500. 2019 has been making a big difference over the market of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in large scale. This could get an impact over Monero as well, if not with the peak rise of bitcoin higher than the one that is reached in 2017 we can experience $500+ as it has good trading volume compared to many other which grows in a short and gets faded off.
631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: July 01, 2019, 08:13:26 PM
Most posts I have seen in this thread are rather one dimensional rather than thinking of the situation as a whole. To begin with investing is something that can't be done without you saving anything some folks call it the 50/30/20 (others have their own way of dividing their own earnings) rule where 50% goes to your necessities and the 30 percent goes to your wants the rest of it goes to your financial goals. You cannot really put all your money in to investing because that wouldn't be even called investing in the first place as you are just risking your entire future for it.
Well said, savings is the base for investing. There needs to be separate channel for savings and for investment. Savings will have a value that won't get changed over the days. With investment we get to experience an increase in the value with time, the same can be in the uptrend as well in the downturn. So, it is not possible to rely on investment all the time, but savings is a life saver, investment is to make the life more sophisticated.
632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make an effective crypto portfolio? on: July 01, 2019, 07:38:24 PM
With cryptocurrency in no time a valueless portfolio could get changed to be a big valued portfolio. This happens with the sudden change of market that we can't find with any other investment related portfolios. To be specific over this I believe portfolio that gets the coins on the top list in large volume and other cryptocurrencies in small scale in the ratio of 3:1 to be an effective cryptocurrency portfolio.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst claim Bitcoin will easily surpass $15,000 if it gets $10,000 on: June 29, 2019, 12:10:49 AM
When the price was around $9000 the prediction was to reach $12000 and if the same undergoes a correction then the same will go low to $7500. This by that moment caused a forward pumping and we crossed $12000 and the same further helped with reaching a peak of the year value close to $14000. Further the growth got disturbed and some fluctuations took place taking the price close to $11000 and now we're back on the forward trend.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 28, 2019, 07:26:51 PM
There is no official statement about the ban of bitcoin within India. Quite often some research takes place regarding the need of bitcoin and blockchain. Further the same gets appealed to the court, and the government is requested to submit supporting documents. The judgement gets postponed and this goes on.

Recently an author has created an article ban of bitcoin in India with ten years imprisoned. This went viral, but this didn't affected the market in any way. I believe there will be restrictions in the future, but people of the country will continue to use overcoming the restrictions.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin really stabilize any country's economy level? on: June 28, 2019, 07:07:05 PM
Bitcoin is exactly the opposite of what countries with a spiralling economy needed. Bitcoin is even more volatile than many hyperinflative currencies, it would be much easier if they just submitted their country to a foreign power for management, because obviously many of these countries cannot manage their own economy. Back to colonialism?
Bitcoin might be more volatile now than these hyperinflative currencies, but just imagine in next ten years how much volatility will be then. Bitcoin is not ready yet to be accepted as national currency, but that is not even purpose of Bitcoin. I think that Bitcoin can stabilize countries, but it need more time, because of currently tiny market size.
it doesn't need to be a national currency to make the country's economy much better. just legalizing bitcoin in that country,
and let their people adopt bitcoin to become their source of income, from that only can change the country's economy
It should be like that, but it is not easy to legalize bitcoin in a country because bitcoin is against the government, which should help stabilize the economy in that country.
and bitcoin can only increase the indivindu economy without involving the state.
That's a wrong statement that bitcoin is against the governments. Legalizing bitcoin is an easy task and the same is being implemented on different countries making everything function without any delays. Economy of the country depends on various factors, and when calculated of a country's total economy the contribution of cryptocurrencies were very small. Maybe in future years we can experience something good, at present it is good to give individual earning.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hospital That Treats Bitcoin Gambling Addicts? on: June 27, 2019, 08:16:44 PM

~

Interesting LOL
Do you have the address of the hospital?

I am a bitcoin addict 🤪
May be some day I will say "Hello" to them LOL
Do you have that hospital sites link? Can I have it? It seems interesting to me and wish to look at the more information about that hospital first. Believe they are well planned to crash your funds from you guys.
Not only addiction and anything can be changed without the help of hospital.
Castle Craig Hospital in Peeblesshire

That's the address. Let me know if you'll go to it then tell us what did they do to you.  Grin
I may consider myself as a bitcoin and gambling addict but I don't want to be treated, I want to be addicted forever. lol
That's the detail provided by Op, as mentioned it can be a plan to crash the funds. Same time there is increased number of people getting into addiction which needs some remedy. Without the hospital it is possible, but people are with a mentality they get cured on reaching a hospital.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: June 27, 2019, 06:46:06 PM
From what I read the cause for the prevailing situation of Venezuela is the poor governance. Cryptocurrency will serve as a supportive tool to the growth of the economy. With the present situation to rebuild the nation a good governance along with support from the world countries is the only possibility. Same time in an article read about cryptocurrency experts giving suggestion to Zimbabwe when it was under hyperinflation to adopt bitcoin which could help them recover the economy. There might be possibilities, but how this gonna get executed is really an unknown fact.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 27, 2019, 06:16:02 PM
for me I also hate banks because sometimes the support provided by banks is very long sometimes up to 2 weeks is resolved in the event of an obstacle, unlike cryptocurrency when we store bitcoin or other cryptocurrency and there is a support for them quickly and cryptocurrency is better because it doesn't charged monthly.

Well, there is no reason to hate banks as we are using them for long time and will continue using them for a long time. Although after the invention of crypto, we find bank useless but we should not forget that in the current fiat system, banks has a important place. As long as fiat exists, banks will exist too.
Mistakes will happen everywhere, banks weren't an exception. What Op experienced using the banking for different needs and the service has got delayed. Same could happen with bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as well, for the same finding an alternate solution is the right thing. As in the quote, banking system is the key factor for such a perfect money management and if there isn't any banks into existence we couldn't have got cryptocurrencies for usage.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook launching libracoin, what happen will 2020? on: June 27, 2019, 05:46:11 PM
Facebook coming up with its cryptocurrency will surely make a big difference globally. As of now there is lack of understanding and knowledge about the cryptocurrency, now with the launch people will get to know much about cryptocurrencies. This will lead more common people to use cryptocurrencies, and people doesn't stick to a single asset they needs multiple access. This will let more to give a try on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. By this I believe in one way or other libra from Facebook is good for growth of entire cryptocurrencies.
640  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Spirebets.com BETA ⚽ Cryptocurrency Football Bets ⚽ on: June 26, 2019, 03:30:07 PM
As most members mentioned it has come with some features of directbet that attracted the people towards gambling in large numbers.. Now this being completely dedicated to the football match betting over the early days will get more people into it, as most of the sports betting people always prefer football over other games. Some form of promotion too is a must during the early days to reach people about the existence of spirebets.
