6241  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC would be even more valuable if some things are solved on: March 24, 2016, 04:43:58 AM
Although some say after the halving, the value will double instantly or within the range of $1000 as you mentioned, It's not going to happen just like that even though the rewards will be cut into half and the supply rate gets cut into half as well. There are a lot of other factors that have direct and indirect effect on BTCitcoin value over the course of time and the effect of halving will surely be an upwards scale but not that fast all the way to the top ($1000). The differences about the block size and other issues are just normal complications that were expected earlier and sure enough, developers do their best for benefit us all, even though there isn't a way to make 100% benefit for everyone (like in every other currency as well). So everything is normal (in my eyes) with few rough edges here and there in which will be resolved soon, in other words BTCitcoin is still great, some only fail to see it Smiley
6242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Africa's Largest Online Marketplace Bidorbuy Adds Bitcoin Payments on: March 24, 2016, 02:28:07 AM
Although it's not the largest online marketplace as mentioned by some above me, it's still a good move for them in order to ensure users safety in terms of security breaches when using credit cards plus it's the effect of lesser popular marketplaces that lead to bigger marketplaces accepting BTCitcoin as well since the bigger and popular a marketplace, the more time they take before they would accept a new payment option so great move.

Your welcome again Smiley

~Snipped~
Sorry but last spot was given to DarkStar_ ahead of you. Were full now.

Note: No more spots

Update:
payment received as usually and thank you squall coin. at first confused because my name on list for not reach minimum post count before paid day
but thanks anyway  Cheesy
Your welcome, apologize for the early post count hehe Tongue

Update 2:
Confirmation I received second payment this week Period 16/23 March I hope this campaign lasts longer  Wink
Thank you very much CEO and Manager Camp Squall Coin.
Thanks for the confirmation and your very welcome Smiley

Update 3:

Can you let me know when there are spots available for a hero member by pm? When one becomes available, please keep me in mind  Smiley

BTW, what are the maximum amount of posts allowed per payment period. I can see the minimum are 15 posts but do you get paid 0.075btc per week regardless of amount of posts above and beyond this?
We don't have any type of reservation and spots are given purely on first come first serve basis upon availability of spots. I think you have got this campaign the wrong way, it's an avatar campaign and not a signature campaign. The rates are the amount each users gets paid (as long as they make 15 constructive posts per week).
6244  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ✪✪✪ SQUALL COIN AVATAR CAMPAIGN ✪✪✪ Fixed Rate ✪✪✪ [OPEN]1 Spot left on: March 23, 2016, 03:32:08 PM
I'm I haven't been active lately and my intention is to find another campaign soon so I may have to leave early. So with that being said you can free up my spot and give it to someone else if this upcoming week will count for him. It was a great managed campaign, always paid in time and without any issues whatsoever.

Thanks!

Thank you for the nice words and thanks for being with use since the beginning. I've freed your spot as stated. Best of luck Smiley

Note: 1 open spot for either Full/Sr./Hero/Legendary member
*Kindly apply only if your poses good quality of post*
6245  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ✪✪✪ SQUALL COIN AVATAR CAMPAIGN ✪✪✪ Fixed Rate ✪✪✪ [FULL] on: March 23, 2016, 01:09:55 PM
Updated everyone's post count up to 1 PM and sent 11th week payment to ShowOff and Amel for reaching the threshold since yesterday (mtnsaa didn't make any post therefor he didn't reach the threshold).
Payment transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/eb407d6bec25f609832fd3adc6e1a4c0799551fece44140818564f549cc89d10

Update:
May I get Mtnsaa's spot. I will be wearing all the required things like Avatar and all the other things.
Thank you in advance.
He has another week and if he fails to reach the threshold again, then his spot will be given to who ever applies and gets accepted first (first come first serve basis only).

Update 2:
Thank you for quick replying. Sorry, I am not aware of rules for freeing spots.
Your welcome. Our rules are stated on first post in this thread Wink
6246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As Satoshi Nakamoto Predicted, Dynamic Fees For Transactions Take Root on: March 23, 2016, 09:13:15 AM
This is in regards to blockchain.info since few others, already have this since before. I think it's the right move that could give assurance of our transactions being included on the next block. The only problem I'm seeing is, some still ignore the fees or rather send payments lower than it should be as a standard fee, so it would have been good if a measuring system would have been implemented in blockchain.info, before anyone making any transactions go through and tell them if the fee is enough (like an error) or not before they click send button again.
On a normal day that has less pending transactions, a 0.0001 would surely do for most transactions but it would be good to use 30 Satoshi per byte (at least) for normal confirmation and 60 Satoshi for faster confirmation.
6247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you honestly think Bitcoin toys would help us?! on: March 23, 2016, 05:56:29 AM
BTCitcoin toys could have an impact on kids getting interested to BTCitcoin when they grew up and eventually be educated in some extent although not completely. Even though kids have undeveloped mindsets as you mentioned, it's our job to break it for them into simplest form so they would learn it piece from piece (the outcome could be better when they learn it like this all the way until their mature enough to understand the whole picture than when their grown up, you introduce them suddenly and surely their going to take more time before getting the idea completely as opposed to the first one).

If I wanted to invent a BTCitcoin toy, it has to have the full name of BTCitcoin in order to have some impact, so perhaps something along the super hero type with BTC letter as it's simple and name it BTCitcoin man or BTCitman. It's has to be a toy that kids would engage in order to have the most result.

6249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Remains Most Popular Digital Currency on Dark Web on: March 22, 2016, 03:19:17 PM
As long as there's a market for it, it's going to remain as most popular and used currency on dark web (unfortunately). Even though this has a negative effect on BTCitcoin image, it somehow paves a way for a growth of some kind. There's a good chance that it's users, remain anonymous through out the deals (even though not entirely) and until there isn't another payment option that offers more benefit for users, it's going to be up there in the dark web and something huge could only change this, which I don't see it coming either.

6251  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: March 22, 2016, 07:51:00 AM
I doubt there would be any significant and instant effect to this matter, even though electric cars have brought new market for consumers. At the moment, percentage of people owning one of these vehicles is way below a range that would do any damage to oil industry. If the trend keeps going for the next 10 to 15 years then sure enough it could have an impact, assuming no other usage for gasoline (which there are some other uses).
6252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cashout your bitcoin now? on: March 22, 2016, 06:01:03 AM
Best way it has to be using a local exchange that is limited to your country only, instead of those that are available for many countries since with it's user limit, there's some benefits for those eligible users as well. I use a local exchange in my country that the more I exchange, the more bonus I receive that I could use one's I decide to alternate the process and buy coins other way around. If there's non from where your residing, then your best bet would be localbitcoins as mentioned by few others above me.

6254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Washington State Became a Battleground for Bitcoin Mining on: March 22, 2016, 02:10:09 AM
In the ending part of the article, it's been mentioned that them saying, their neutral to the situation and are trying to go with a win-win situation, but IMO all they want, is a bigger profit on their part and never cared in the first place to be the reason for the miners to go out of business and have collateral damages due to a need for relocation and extra expenses of it.
6255  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: March 21, 2016, 02:26:56 PM
Well in case some didn't knew, Sweden was the first cashless country since past 4 or 5 months (IIRC) and they haven't suffer any problem so far and the route for other countries is surely the same, it's just the matter of when it will happen. Some say cash is good and they could leave without the need of other monetary systems like credit/debit which is connected to banks and online options like BTCitcoin. We can't hold too much of cash at our hand or disposal but we could have them saved on either banks or in our BTCitcoin wallets (no matter how large the amount). Some sited that the poor people would be the ones who will suffer the most for this evolution but surely there will be a way for them as well although it's not going to be a smooth one. We never know, maybe in the near future, every single person will have a single card (regardless of being rich or poor) and all their wealth automatically stores there (still long way though) or even some sort of genetics wallet, connected to someones genes only.
6256  Economy / Services / Re: NEW YoBit Sig Design Contest: #1 place - 1 btc, #2 - 0.5 btc , #3 - 0.25 btc on: March 21, 2016, 08:34:32 AM
Here's my first entry, hope you like it Smiley
Will try to post another entry if ever I get the time.

Update:
Nice design SFR10 but imo the colors are a bit dim and it will not catch a lot of attention. I think you should put a lighter color on those letters so it can be seen clearly. Goodluck with your entry!
Thank you for the nice words Smiley
In regards to using lighter color for letters, it's going to result in less visibility on Sr./Full designs since the background is light also and it could have a little bit of impact on Hero design but it's going to make it too much shiny and hard to the eye.

Update 2:

My 2nd design Smiley

6257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 21, 2016, 07:33:06 AM
I doubt that another World war will happen but if were that unfortunate, then since internet is a big part of BTCitcoin, it's usage will surely be limited a lot due to internet filtering, therefor it will be a lot harder to use it but not impossible so yes, it will survive if there will be a world war.
6258  Economy / Economics / Re: Is limited supply of bitcoin a hinderence? on: March 21, 2016, 05:49:22 AM
Mainly those who store BTCitcoin at the moment, are doing it due to the upcoming halving and not due to the supply staying at 21 Million once reached. I don't think this will be a block or complication for BTCitcoin becoming mainstream at all. Everything is going to be working just as how it works now. If it's going to be mainstream, it will happen eventually, regardless of people holding some.
6259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would local bitcoin advertising help to make bitcoin more popular? on: March 21, 2016, 01:14:18 AM
Yes surely it has an impact on BTCitcoin popularity and makes it known better in general but in regards to billboards, it can't be the same since simply explaining the concept and its advantages takes a lot of it's space and those who design billboards try to have less text as possible together with an attractive brand logo instead but still could be used as a promotional tool. On the other had TV and Radio has a great impact when it comes to drive attention to new users.
6260  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: COIN-OWNER.com - Crypto community: Chat and explore websites about Bitcoin, Alt on: March 20, 2016, 07:28:08 PM
Interesting directory type of website however on the part where it's the categories (Bitcoin Explorer), it would be better if those could have been categorized in a tab manner instead (more organize look), plus it get's a lot of space on the landing page and instead that space could be used for a bigger thumbnail of each website below it. Aside from the black background used on the edges of the template, the center is too much light of rather of the same color, white and light grayish is a bit of same thing, maybe a darker gray would make it improve. Lastly, are websites being reviewed before appearing on the landing page? I'm asking this since a scammer could easily promote his website this way and a moderation is a must.
