7202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Overview] The one thread to link them all on: November 12, 2015, 01:56:50 PM
Found a useful thread regarding to Mining Hosting Providers with the name of the thread "H/w Hosting Directory & Reputation" ... Thread link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=622998.0  Credits to QuiveringGibbage
7203  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet Creation on: November 12, 2015, 01:38:26 PM
To be honest with you, with that payout and time interval, you won't get much visitors as it's very little compared to what others are offering already... 1000 satoshis is good for maximum 2 hrs if you want to be considered as one of the top faucets owners out there... the number of ads allowed on your faucet is dependent on the terms and conditions of each of the ad companies that you will be using... here's the list of bitcoin advertising companies : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0 ...remember to not try to cheat them as when your caught, all your earnings are gone as well...in terms of domain name and hosting purchases with bitcoin, there are some in the service announcement which do both so look there as I can't say their names directly here... some might be on 2nd or 3rd page
7204  Other / New forum software / Re: [Feature Req] Thread Scoring on: November 12, 2015, 01:12:05 PM
This is actually a good suggestion, I very much like it as we get to grade each thread base on their overall importance but one question I have is, the only change would be one getting a important label as the other only read, right? Because if the one's with important label get some sort of sticky style where in the thread push towards up even with out a new post then those with low grade which haven't yet got any rating will be left down so hope this is not the case... anything other than that then will be nice honestly

Update: Some thing like this maybe

7205  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Design Contest - BitcoinBlackFriday.info - 0.2 BTC Prize on: November 12, 2015, 12:00:21 PM
Here's my entry, the codes will be sent upon request if ever I win, good luck everyone Smiley

7206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People & Bitcoin on: November 12, 2015, 08:57:14 AM
Not sure about the first question but if your asking in a specific way then around 20 which are all well known in the community and if your asking in general then more or less I know 100 persons related to bitcoin...Yes and no, because some only know a tiny part of what it is and how it works...In regards to those who trade, from my family no one except me but from friends, many of them actually use in trading matters
7207  Other / Meta / Re: Are similar cases to this considered some sort of spam? on: November 12, 2015, 08:38:39 AM
Posting multiple replies directly one under another in my book is definition of spamming. We have edit button for a reason!
Posting in this manner all the time is clearly boosting your post count and it shouldn't be allowed.
Yes indeed, that's my opinion as well and I thought it wasn't due to them getting away but clearly it's a spam and action will be taken surely if noticed

yeah it happens everyday, with just about every user on this forum that's enrolled in the yobit sig campaign.
just report one of their posts detailing the spam and they should pass the info along to the admins if they feel a ban is in order.
I will, from now on... If I'm not wrong there are few as well from other campaigns which if I find them, i'll be reporting them as well, thank you

True but most members don't check back a post to see if its edited or not, but I still edit my post accordingly if a new reply is given only if its close to the last post in the thread so that it can be viewable when the person checks back for new replies.
You have a point there but in this case the guy just posted each reply to the previous post in an interval matter which all could have been done in a single post only

He is just following the advise of a signature campaign manager which is to create a topic, but campaign manager did not say answer all posts on a different window. If answer is just "thank you", it should have been been included or posted on just one post with different quotes from other users. Anyway, different strokes for different folks.
Exactly and the funny thing here is the thread he created is "If you don't have any ideas, you shouldn't even complain." which it's purpose is how some don't have any idea on helping Bitcoin where as all he does is spamming the forum and a good quote for him would be" If you have something to say, if it could be done in a single post, make it in a single post" since his just doing the obvious spam

Yes. This is obvious post padding. If you have to reply to more people at the same time then please learn how to properly format posts and do so. There is no valid (good) reason for someone to be doing this instead of properly writing it in a single post. Also similar things apply to people posting constant "updates" (a few in a row) in their threads.
Indeed, I was just surprised that his a Sr.member and the way he does the postings were as if he was a newbie...and also for the update part, I do agree, previous updates could be added to the first official post of thread with like a windows stating the change log and the new one's only staying as the last one post on the thread itself

It's extremely easy to quote multiple posts at once. Quoting an entire post from the thread you're replying to is a click away, there's no excuse replying multiple times one below the other to provide answers to other posters while you could have done it in a single post. As others said, this fits the definition of spamming quite well. Hope this guy will learn his lesson. :p
Have the same feeling as you, hope action will be given and eventually he learns...the problem with most is, they always tend to do the simplest things wrong

Typical yobit spammer/scammer. What do you expect when nobody is checking their posts.
Unfortunately your right... so far I've seen only one constructive and well written poster from yobit campaign (forgot his name , a high rank person with some positive trust) and the rest are complete crap posters overall even though some post good now and then... It's does have a damaging image to the community and hope they could change one day... How hard for them could be to just check for God's sake (all I see since before was that they pretended that they check which they just did a quick one instead of a overall checking

Thanks for everyone's answer, I will be locking this thread now as it has served it's purpose and I got the answer, in which I will be reporting these cases when I spot one.
7208  Other / Meta / Are similar cases to this considered some sort of spam? on: November 12, 2015, 05:23:43 AM
Just wanted to know if in such cases were the one who is replying to several people using a single reply for each of the persons instead of quoting all together and reply in a single post only... is it considered spam? Because lately I've seen some doing it and it seem their getting away with posting to increase their count and earnings, for instance in the following case:

The thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1246036.0

The screenshots:

7209  Other / Meta / Re: Are hero more respected than less established accounts? on: November 12, 2015, 04:21:53 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1243662.0 - here was the name of the topic. However, I don't think the user even checked what I was typing.
Never let one's opinion, ruin your day and affect you...in this case you should just ignore the guy in terms of giving him a reason to criticize even more of your action so the best way is to not respond since it's just one guy among the crowd and also you could use the ignore option located in the lower part of his name, that might help as well
7210  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Design Contest - BitcoinBlackFriday.info - 0.2 BTC Prize on: November 11, 2015, 04:05:38 PM
I would like to participate in the contest (so as to others) but until you escrow the funds, I don't think you'll get any entry... In case you will use escrow, you could check the following link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
7211  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] cryptoparrot.com - realtime twitter bitcoin tracker on: November 11, 2015, 02:12:27 PM
Thank you for the input/feedback. I have added the play and pause buttons for this case. So you can click pause and it will stop.
The reason why it is so fast is that its in realtime. When i add a timeout then i have a problem that it will queue the other tweets. And after some time (for example 24h) the cryptoparrot.com will have a delay in the message of maybe even many minutes/hours... So i think its better when we let it in realtime. So you really also see it in realtime.

I like the idea of adding other tabs for other bitcoin related keywords.. maybe from financial and economic perspective. What do you think are keyword which make sense to add.
your very welcome ... the pause button does the trick there I guess Wink ... in terms of other tabs for other related keywords in financial and economic perspective, I think most used words on bitcoin discussion and economic section could be used but my concern is, will it slow down the site if there were 10 tabs that gathers all the 10 tweeted keywords?

And also a suggestion I would like to make is if you could make another window that shows the top tweets (most liked or shared) on each category if ever you decide to track more related keywords
7212  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer s5 - Slightly used! on: November 11, 2015, 01:44:00 PM
Kindly move this thread to it's appropriate section : Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Goods > Computer hardware https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0
How to move the thread: There is an option on lower left of this thread that says move topic
You will receive more exposure there, good luck and also it is advisable to take a picture of the s5 together with your username here (0x1) written on a paper and add it to the official post
7213  Economy / Services / Re: Selling advertising banner on my platform on: November 11, 2015, 06:00:36 AM
Kindly move this thread to it's appropriate section as follows: Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Services  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
It can be done by the option located on lower left of this thread

And as to the thread, could you also post the analytics of each of the mentioned websites so we could give an accurate offer base on it, and lastly what banner ads slot sizes are there for us, thanks
7214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Time to raise rates again on: November 11, 2015, 05:53:37 AM
I do agree with this proposal too but it seems the rates are not yet in a stable margin so it might either go further down or bounce a bit back so perhaps the one's who run campaigns are waiting before re-adjusting the rates so jacee's suggestion would be the better option instead though need a little bit more work for them upon sending the fee's as they need to convert the equal value to BTC
7215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC makes it 10 years I think it would officially have "made it".. on: November 11, 2015, 05:29:35 AM
Well BTCitcoin was never a ponzi so it won't happen any time soon or rather never ever in a million years ...it's been 7 years and day after day it gets improvement of some sort... The thing is putting years into basis of something that has made is not right, but putting the basis on how it works should be the right thing to do and how has affected the world so far so in that matter it has been long time that "made it"
7216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Fate In 2140 on: November 11, 2015, 04:43:33 AM
Your first option seems to be the path we will end up most likely although hope the fee's for transaction are not that high up to the point wherein it turn off people for using it (those who send smaller amounts on their transactions) so still some problems exist then but I'm sure developers will find a way to solve this matter if ever it happens
7217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Purse to Launch Marketplace to Compete with eBay and OpenBazaar on: November 10, 2015, 07:02:26 PM
As to the Purse upcoming marketplace lunch, it's really a great news for all of us, more choice for shopping, more flexibility, less limit and hassle, less fee paid and everything with bitcoin so it's going to be fun how the outcome will be and as to the AMA stuff popping out lately, I think his overdoing it (Roger) and it's not a professional way either, IMHO it's like begging for traffic to his forum
7218  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Art Stupid (www.artstupid.com) Sell Your Digital Art for Bitcoin or Paypal on: November 10, 2015, 04:21:10 PM
Hello, The idea is great but it lacks many aspects as there's is no tab explaining how it works, a F.A.Q's sheet would be nice and there are also nothing that ensures the artist in terms of protecting their digital arts rights plus a escrow service would be really needed in this type of work....also to add to the list, upon clicking on each image available so far, nothing happens, is it supposed to be liked that?...It would be really nice these concerns gets somehow a solution as that would be other's artists concern too
7219  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: November 10, 2015, 04:08:52 PM
Since this is my first time learning the cloudmining, I should say that the electricity (and other cost that i forgot its name) bill was quite unexpected. Its quite high too.. how frequent did these cost occur?
Actually it's a virtual mining game and not a cloud mining one...the title of this thread says it all... and as to the unexpected fee's, it's all based on reality (so it's a simulation of how does everything work in the mining world), there are fee's for maintenance and power usage just like in reality... and lastly these costs occur every 24 hours
7220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Overview] The one thread to link them all on: November 10, 2015, 08:26:48 AM
There is already a thread linked on OP about making faucets, looks pretty good and IMHO more comprehensible than Bitmaxz's thread . The bitcoin debit cards list is new though. BTW Sho , is it a requirement for a thread t be in english to be included, this one Link seems to list pretty much every campaign , be it avatar , social media or avatar.
The one I posted is in regards to making a rotator and not a faucet... it's two different things faucets are the place to earn fractions of satoshis directly from the websites and the rotator is the place faucets are linked like a chain for further compilation of faucets in a single place for easier continuous claiming....
And as to the link you provided regarding the complete list of avatar or social media campaigns, it's a nice thread although not in English and a quick search there, I found out not just one but many mistakes and the OP there seems to not update everything, for instance, my avatar campaign is still there and is stated on their language as active and with more slots which is completely wrong and need a lot of modifications
