Does fortune jack sig = employee or player in sig campaign?  Do you get paid extra for attacking people who make suggestions or complaints?

The issues Fortune Jack isn't ignoring they are making vague statements like this one:

Is this the "clear opnion falconer speaks of?

They're saying don't use various bots since you could get hacked.

Theyre not saying "we've looked into your request and decided this other bot you want is not safe"

Fj has stated their opinions about this clearly and I dont think they will change it anytime sooner

If I missed it somewhere else I apologize, but I think I'm assuming correctly that you're just being a bully.

I have no idea what this dice bot even is btw.

Yesterday there were a couple new accounts making their first posts in Betcoins thread explaining why they enjoyed Betcoin.

This was after I outed Ftwbtc1 and Noobtc as shills when I noticed ftwbtc1 made a post on Betcoin forum that was almost identical to a post Noobtc made on BitcoinTalk within ~10 minutes of each other.

One of them was made by a player I was friendly with and staked a couple times in the past.  He was broke and made the post because Andrew offered him a ticket into their nightly .05 BTC buyin tournament.  It was all in spanish, here's the skype translation and screen shot.

So this Jessica says adding many new players everyday...but the players at the cash tables don't go up for over a year since they went up due to Seals closed for a while..so:

So either 2 things must be going on:

1. Jessica is lying or,
2. There are as many players leaving as coming in new.

Cause the number of cash players in tables has not gone up for a year now and it actually may be going down a little bit.

12 players on 2 cash tables now....so where are all these new players...are they invisible?

On 11/30 (Tue/Wed) their 7 day average was 28 players with a 24 hour peak of 50 players.

2/19 (Thur/Fri) their 7 day average is 30 players with a 24 hour peak of 55 players.

Got a lovely pm from them recently:

The staff looks at all the work you put in and appreciates your work ethic and commitment.  You really should be earning good bitcoin and building equity instead of having everything deleted from Betcoin or moved to the next page of the forum as more posts are added.  Ultimately, you just waste time while keeping Betcoin on the front page of the thread which means more traffic, more signature campaign members, etc.  We think you have a strong work ethic and could be a great contributor as you once were.  The amount of time and energy you have put in so far is truly remarkable.  It shows us that we have something special because every great company has people this passionate, but we want to channel your passion to help you more as you once were a great member of the community.  We look forward to your thoughts.

I totally believe you.

Just stop deleting my posts, unban my account and send whatever you think I should be paid here: 1KNaiM4KPUjjR2PZAJuNxS7ukMgRZgHcJv

I promise to continue sharing my opinion with you and everyone else either way.

6271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 19, 2016, 09:57:08 AM

I'm agreeing with you that Gambling can be profitable in the long run.

But you try to prove this by using an example of how one might win in the short term.

To be profitable in the long run, all you need is an edge and a bankroll.

If you play that slot machine with a 1% house edge, no matter what, you will not win in the long run.

Get it?

But even with a negative edge you can be profitable in the long run, because you dont need to be for infinity.

The EV theory only applies to infinite sample size. But in the finite world (reality) you can have a lucky winning streak, or just a variance temporarly (which can last your lifetime) tilted in your favor.

The end EV is negative, but the local EV can be positive.

I saw casinos go bankrupt, there was a casino near my house ,that got closed a few years ago because a slot machine player won big and the stupid owner didnt have enough cash to pay his rent after he paid out the winner.

So maybe not Caesars but smaller casinos still go bankrupt.

There is no official definition for "long run" so I guess I's pointless to debate what the "long run" even is.

Generally though, when someone refers to the "long run" in gambling, they are referring to a sample size that is big enough so that the variance is minimal.

Here are the results of a simulation of 100 users making 1,000 even money bets with a 49.5% chance to win.  (The house edge is 1%)

The green line is the theoretical value.

There are almost the same amount of winners and losers.

But if they were to do that 99 times more (or for 100,000 bets total)
They are all clearly losing at least 3-400 bets.

The second one could be considered the long run, the first should not.

(I stole these from dooglus' post, he was using them to prove a different point and pokerdope isn't working right now)

6272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: February 19, 2016, 09:10:29 AM

(I could easily be a billion or so off somewhere)

Nobody gambles a billion dollar. Or have a billion simulations.

Most of us wont even have 5000 in total, so the sample size is too big.

Nobody reaches long run. Which is why we have to use math.

The bigger and bigger the sample size gets, the closer and closer the result will be to our theoretical value.  Bigger sample size = More  accurate.

The bigger the sample size of your life is, the closer you get to death, and at some point it becomes inevitable.

So what that doesnt mean you cant live a good life?

Based on your logic, you should also be able to win big in a casino, in a limited amount of time. IN REALITY THERE IS NO INFINITY, ONLY LIMITED TIME!!!!!

Everyone in this thread saying gambling makes them money are only fooling themselves. Are you guys accounting for the losses versus the wins? I'm sure if you add everything up you've lost more than won. You may as well do binary options, at leas you have some prediction.

Binary options...also gambling.
6275  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetCoin.TM Bitcoin Casino | Poker | Slots | Sports | Live Dealers | And More! on: February 18, 2016, 09:11:42 PM
I sent a pm about the carribean stud payouts/advertised house edge 2 weeks ago because they were so eager to fix the video poker payout mistakes I found last month.

I got a quick response saying thery would send it over to the "poker dudes" but nothing has changed 2 weeks later.  Maybe because Caribbean stud isn't poker, but either way, I guess I should of just posted it so the players knew

I believe your royal flush payout is off for Caribbean Stud.  It's listed as paying 50-1, the same as any straight flush.  It should be 100-1.

Also, it's worth noting that even if the payout were corrected, your auto-bet option would increase the house edge from 5.224% to 16.607%

Currently, the auto-bet simply raises 100% of hands, even when the player has a 0% chance of winning.

Perfect strategy would probably take an unnecessary amount of effort to program, but I think it would be reasonable and likely easy to program the feature to only raise if the player is dealt any pair or better, and fold everything else.  This strategy puts the house edge at 5.47%

I don't think using a VPN should get a player banned either.
IMO, it would be pretty difficult to know a real player from an alt. Can't comment.

Using a VPN doesn't get you banned and isn't against the rules.

If you use a VPN for promos that offer freerolls or no deposits though, you might disqualify yourself from the promotions.

This is his second tantrum about not being able to freeroll the site while using a VPN.  He's probably trying to qualify for the same promotion many many times and keeps getting busted.

BTW, I'm not violating any of your terms including multiple accounts, so it's straight up slander for you to suggest it.

Slander is when you say something which is false which damages someones rep.

I think you were looking for libel, which refers is when you use written words to damage someones reputation.

Your reputation isn't really affected though, since you were known for doing this kind of thing already.

THey do. Long run is the time not the money. You can bet $1 a day for a year and call it a long run.

So whats the minimum long run then?

Can they bet $1 a day for 6 months and call it a long run?

a week?

2 days?

Its of course possible to have profit on a long term, but most likely the people will not make profit at all by it.
At gambling you always need luck and the most people do not have this luck so you will lose money.
You are contradicting your own words. It is as you said - gambling=some random occurrences, you don't have influence over, therefore outcome can't be predicted or controlled.
You can be lucky for a short period of time and profit, you can probably be almost even for a longer periods. But in the end you only can diminish the losses while gambling everyday.

You just contradicted your own words after explaining how he contradicted his!

Quote
therefore outcome can't be predicted

Then you predict one can only lose

Quote
n the end you only can diminish the losses

Gambling does not exclusively apply to making bets with negative expectation.

If a gambler is able to manage his money properly and find enough bets where the edge is in his favor, at the end of his life he will be profitable.  Even though he may have had a couple losing years...
