6281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank experience makes me love Bitcoin more on: March 16, 2016, 10:48:04 AM
Although some banks, seem to have worthless and annoying rules sometimes, this shouldn't take that long and here in where I live, usually it should be instant with a SMS confirmation coming within second of the transfer itself so most likely it's related to the country and banking system used in which, clearly an outdated one. But I also agree with loving BTCitcoin more, it's just simply in another level.

Here's my two designs, hope you like it: (not NASA related Tongue )

6283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 16, 2016, 04:30:29 AM
Two things if that was me:

1. Buy BTCitcoin and hold to see, BTCitcoin magic after the halving.
2. Invest it in mining rigs. Right now, price of S7 is getting lower and lower and with block halving in the corner, it will go even lower for sure plus surely there will be newer and much more efficient mining rigs popping out afterwards so those would be a good choice as well.
6284  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it important for crypto currency that Bitcoin is the one? on: March 15, 2016, 03:48:23 PM
Yes, sort of.I would say, it already is the one, like for instance we have BTCitcoin on one side, against all other alt coins on the other side (one against all others put together). There will be always a risk when it comes into using any alt coin so people will always have hard time of putting more, no matter what.
6285  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much does this will earn for me? on: March 15, 2016, 12:46:03 PM
First of all, his asking way above it's price ($637 in BTC on Bitmain website itself). Assuming that's 2nd hand so even worst, better buy directly from their website instead. You could earn around $190 per month, assuming the difficulty doesn't changes (which it does all the time so it could be a little different result).
6286  Economy / Services / Re: Competition LOGO required for UK Exchange ENDS FR 18th on: March 15, 2016, 09:57:17 AM
Here's a simple logo (Kraken style) as you mentioned with the use of one of the images you provided:

And here's another design that is fairly simple and yet resembles an exchange (colors could be change, in case chosen):

Best of luck everyone Smiley
6287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchage in 2016 ??? on: March 15, 2016, 07:07:18 AM
I'm going to list few exchanges that I've tested and few that might be an alternative to you. Personally I discovered "changelly" this week and had good experience using it, very nice design and took less than 30 minutes for everything to finish. There's also "shapeshift" which I had different experience with (sometimes works good and sometimes has glitches), but overall acceptable.

Both tested:

Some alternatives: (haven't tested these yet, so take caution)

6288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft apologizes: We still accept bitcoin on: March 15, 2016, 03:09:31 AM
According to their statement, was just a mistake but clearly it's a lie. What happened was, them turning their heads away and then, the minute everyone found out, they made a U-turn and decided to continue since they probably thought, there's small demand which clearly isn't the case after all. That sort of mistake, doesn't just happen like that, but that's what they want us to believe. Btw, it's still open for US citizens, so not sure why their not expanding it to other countries as well.
6289  Economy / Economics / Re: European Central Bank cuts interest rates to 0% from 0.05% on: March 14, 2016, 04:50:43 PM
Surely where in for another negative rating (upcoming) as well as all the recent banks that have gone with it. Honestly, I was enjoying a 20% growth (high inflation here) until few months ago in which they cut it to 15% for small investments and from the looks of it (a deflation rate is rising here lately), it will go even further down so the outcome for most banks, is surely a negative rate in the near future.
6290  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How long would it take for return on investment? on: March 14, 2016, 01:46:04 PM
Well as you seem to already know, it's main factor, going to be the electricity you pay and how efficient your miner is. Normally back in the days, I used to get ROI in about 4 months, but have this in mind that rewards is going to change in July and so the ROI is going to be a lot slower and until more efficient miners haven't come to the market, by then it could take double the time so (8 months I suppose, assuming no new miners come into play that are much more efficient). BTCitcoin value is another thing that has a saying as well, in case you keep track of everything (expenses), in fiat instead since BTCitcoin value changes a lot. Difficulty also is another factor which it changes from time to time as well so in short, I could tell you the range if I know what situation your in and what miner your planning to get.
6291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Microsoft stops accepting Bitcoin in Windows Store on: March 14, 2016, 10:40:49 AM
Well since on the article mentioned "while not yet mainstream" the time they adopted this kind of payment, they didn't seem to done enough to make it work or rather drive more sales since base on some comments, it was open for US citizens only and we all know, they have plenty of other options aside from BTCitcoin but what they failed was, to make this feature open to the rest of the world. Their marketing strategies seems to have flaws in it.
6292  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] projektcheap.com - your place to buy digital goods on: March 14, 2016, 06:55:19 AM
It seems like an interesting project but since your still new, wanted to let you know that you have a big competition ahead of you, in which has been doing this for some times (not sure if your aware of him). Anyways since your still relatively new, would you give some voucher to those who are Hero/Legendary in the community with good trusts so they would give an honest feedback on your services? Also you lack SSL certificate so I advice on getting one as well. Another thing is, 6 confirmations before sending the code is very long waiting time since most merchants do this after just 3 transactions (at most) and as result, your going to pay a lot of extra 5% discount codes if you go with this plan.
6293  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CRYPTSY MAKES DEAL WITH HACKERS TO RETURN STOLEN 13,000 BTC, PAYS 13% FEE on: March 14, 2016, 01:32:06 AM
Honestly On the agreement part, it doesn't look legit to me. Lacks professionalism. If Paul for one seconds, is thinking of by giving back what he owed after all this time, he could open up the exchange once again, then it's not going to work and certainly it looks like a made up story. The best thing for him, is to return everything and then quit the scene (for good).

On a side note:
You have a small typo error on your site, wherein says: be back in Cryptosy's posession (an excess o)
6294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoined Sunday on: March 13, 2016, 03:55:28 PM
Good interest rate you got there (total of 45%) and me too, I'm looking for the day, I could totally kiss local/ foreign banks a goodbye and only use BTCitcoin without the need to convert it to fiat. Unfortunately I'm still attached to them due to high interest rates here in my country (due to inflation but it's on deflation since last year) which for small investments is at 15% and that's where I am for now and due to the whole banks in world, having an eye to go with negative rates, I hope there will be local BTCitcoin banks all over the world, so we could put our savings there and hope it gets good safe (regardless of ups and downs) steady growth.

~Snipped~
It is unfortunate that one is still unable to easily use some alternative system (e.g. cryptocurrency) to completely avoid using banks (without it being a huge inconvenience).
A BTCitcoin bank, purely operating on BTCitcoin would be a good one, even though it's still a bank. One day we'll get there (without the need of any bank) but adaption is needed and since not everyone in the world has access to internet (until now), then it's going to be a far dream for now.
6295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about Halving??? on: March 13, 2016, 11:16:01 AM
I'm feeling either happy nor sad with the upcoming effect of halving, mainly due to half of me wants it since the amount I've saved up for some times in one of my wallet is surely going to have more value after the event but on other hand, I was looking to come back into mining world but I'm holding my cards until seeing what will be the future (in case more profitable mining rigs will be built, so miners could profit once again in an easier scale).
6296  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: useful advises as a good starting for beginners? on: March 13, 2016, 09:10:28 AM
Since you seem to have the optimal condition (maybe even better), then at the moment , the best mining equipment out there in terms of efficiency and profit is Antminer S7 which you could order from the following websites: https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020160307020331375uYwfnI5D06C6
You could also check this section of forum in case your after paying cheaper to acquire a 2nd hand S7 instead: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0 (have this in mind that depending on your location, you may have to pay different shipping fees).
6297  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free Electricity - Best Miner on: March 13, 2016, 07:36:17 AM
You could go with an Antminer S5 in which you could purchase 2nd hand of those in this forums computer and hardware section. It requires 590 watts from the wall. The sad thing is, your not going to make much but if you start right away, you could get back your investment just before the halving (assuming you got it for a good price) and anything after that would be profit.
6298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Five Year Anniversary WeUseCoins on: March 13, 2016, 05:44:30 AM
Happy anniversary indeed, the bounty was really high, wish I was active then on bitcointalk. Base on the ending part of the article, what it means by being unclear if the bounty is claimed since it's getting bigger, does it mean a ver 3 could be coming?

wow it's cool. bitcoin age is 5 years now. I heard some people said that the age of bitcoin is only five years. but now the price is increasing slowly. I'm looking forward to seeing what's gonna happen
Your wrong, BTCitcoin age is not 5 years, it's more than that, the video regarding BTCitcoin is mentioned to be 5 years old now. A simple search in google will give you the history of BTCitcoin, you should read, it's fun  Wink
