6301  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid high bitcoin transaction fees? on: December 26, 2017, 02:03:55 PM
i think the fees are more good than to avoid that because we have coinpot.co here in crypto and some of transaction there are no fees like in our own country that don't have any fees there,Coinpot.co have different wallet btc, doge, ltc and etc. but i didn't use it because even it's no fees at all we don't have assurance in that wallet not like blockchain that already trusted wallet even with fees.
This is my first time I do see up this site or wallet. Is this a local wallet? Because telling or saying making transactions without any fees are only possible on a local wallet with the same user which you can actually transfer funds without fees since you are using the same just like we do see on coinbase or any other local wallet. They do make use and transact to those people who do have the same wallet to avoid fees but this is only just good for case to case basis knowing that not all people do have the same wallet.

6303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How many of those "hacks" are really "hacks" on: December 25, 2017, 05:27:20 PM
I noticed an interesting trend: as soon as the capitalization of the crypto currency is growing at a rapid pace - immediately there are reports of "cracking exchanges by hackers." May be. it's just human greed and the owners of the exchanges only pretend that they were hacked?

This could be human greed and they may name it a hack  Ideally I think that such things only demoralize the people to buy/sell from exchanges but nobody is sure that some other website may take their bitcoin and runaway. Thus some solution should be implemented in order to avoid such things happening in future.

This should really be put on minds that we should only store small amounts of funds on any exchangers or any sites that being used to store up out coins because sooner or later there would really be a chance of hacking incident specially when bitcoins price do reach up high which these kind of possibilities isn't really new anymore this is why we should really set safety measures and awareness regarding on our precious coins.
6304  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to sell my house? on: December 25, 2017, 04:46:23 PM
is it your house for living? maybe if it your only one house my advice is dont sell it because its to risky if you sell your house to join in bitcoinor cryptocurrencies  trading and maybe the best idea is you can rent your house, and you can use the money to trading in bitcoin
I cannot buy your house because I am very far from your house. I have a dream of my own house but in my country. I can give you some tips for selling your house. You should sell your house against regular currency to anyone in your locality and with that money you can buy some bitcoin.

You can also search somebody living nearby you who has bitcoin and want to use them you can contact him. But the easiest way is to sell your house and with that money you can buy bitcoin.
These kind of dealings would really be only good for those people who do resides the same country which it would really have much easier transactions since they can able to meet up and do p2p with their fiat and bitcoins but this thing would really matter if there are people residing on that place would really be willing to exchange their bitcoins. If you don't like to stress out then better to sell out on traditional fiat and then buy bitcoin if you do really liked to.
6305  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If i dont sell my bitcoins for the year i still have to pay taxes ? on: December 25, 2017, 03:50:31 PM
No. If you don't convert your Bitcoins to hard cash, you don't need to pay any tax on it. As long as your investment remains in the form of Bitcoins, the government can't tax you. If you sell your coins within three years from the purchase, then you need to pay regular income tax over it. If your investment is over three years old, then you may only need to pay the long-term capital gains tax.

Capital gains is a pain for everyone who make profits in the US.
So, if you live in the US and can make profits by sell bitcoin 3 years later, welcome to the world of taxes.
USA want to get a piece of cake in every profits a citizen gains. That's why many people trying to avoid taxes in the US by trade cryptocurrency in secret, or simply don't ever sell bitcoin in the US, but convert it in another country which don't have taxes regulations for convert bitcoin into fiat currency such as in Bolivar. Cheesy
When it comes to taxes then expect US do really have strict implementations regarding to it which you would really be obliged once they trace you up and as being said you can still able to avoid this thing which you should not sell off bitcoins on US itself but rather choose up other places which doesn't have too strict when it comes to tax. This is the beauty of making anonymous transactions which they cant really able to keep an eye of us if we decide not to pay up taxes. There are lots of ways actually.
6306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't listen to John McAfee on: December 25, 2017, 02:33:43 PM
I don't understand how this guy got so much fame in the crypto world. He's an old school computer programmer. He's insane. And he Predicted bitcoin would go up? Well it was either going to go up or down. Predicting it going up doesn't it make you some crypto God.

It's as if I predicted it will rain tomorrow and if it does, calling myself a weatherman. Then, instead of lots of people checking the news for the weather they check my twitter. Its nuts.

I'm occasionally reading his twitter account... and yes, he's insane for sure. IMO everybody who's listening people like McAfee and ending bad. They need to use their head instead of following 'gurus'.
One day before I did able to check his account I was curious why people are really crazy on following up this man even on some shills regarding on a coin it do make some effects on its price.I don't know why it do happen but I don't really believe on him on either way because hes just popped out from nowhere and now guessing on price movements. Seriously? It do sound sucks but there are still people who do really follow on the things he do said regarding price movements but well its their own money after all.
6307  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Withdrawal Problem due to Verification on: December 25, 2017, 01:01:53 PM
Why are some people complaining  Roll Eyes you just CANT trade thousands of dollars without verification. What if you"re terrorist, money launderer.... what did you guys expect??
There would be always KYC policy on any exchange when it comes when you are already trading up thousands of dollars on daily basis which is normal since these exchanges do follow regulations which they would really need to impose it strictly but on the case of OP why they would ask such thing? $40 isn't really a big deal. If you do hesitate on giving documents then we can anytime make an another account which doesn't need to verify since the restrictions or limits of non-verified isn't really bad after all specially on small-traders.
6308  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as our Fiat on: December 25, 2017, 09:01:51 AM
Do You think that at some point in our society, Cryptocurrency will be our daily fiat and be an essential part of our economy? Can you cite your ideas on how Cryptocurrency change our Fiat?
Depends on situation because if you do talk about cryptocurrency then there are lots which it would really be confusing if we do talk regarding on having a main cryptocurrency which is bitcoin then it cant be happening because government wont really allow such thing to happen because they cant able to control cryptocurrency since most of them is decentralized.Unless if they would decide convert fiat to their own centralized e-currency then its possible but for crypto then it wont really be possible.
6309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: newbie questions about Private Key on: December 22, 2017, 03:06:16 PM
Im pretty newbie in cryptocurrency. I heard that we need to keep secure our Private key. Do we get a Private Key each time we open an account on an Exchange ie: Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance, Coinbase, etc? or do we get Private Key on each currency? I have account on Bittrex and Binance and Coinbase, and as I can remember they never show me Private key. do I suppose to get one?

I also need to know; Do we need to save the generated address each time we send or receive coins between exchange? the address keep changing each time we send.

And where do I get a Paper Private key?

These are the advantage when you do make use on exchange wallet which you wont really have the possession of your own private keys which is already a part of the risk when you do tend to store up coins on an exchange wallet and this is why its being advised for how many times already that we should not really store up huge amounts because once those exchanges been hacked or compromised you wont really have the chance on accessing those wallet since you don't have the private keys.
6310  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Where can i report a crypto crime? on: December 22, 2017, 01:36:45 PM
Crypto crime is similar as cyber crime. You can complaint for it at your nearest police station. You can register your complaint in the police station as you register any normal complaint. Some police stations has special department for cyber crime, they can help you better coz they are technical experts.
I don't know if every country do have this division regarding on cybercrime. Regarding on my own country it do have a cybercrime division which you can really tell them your complains on crime but regarding on crypto crime I don't think that it would be resolved so easily knowing that these things are time consuming to track those transactions specially its is anonymous stuff but still I have heard some news that this thing is really possible and there are really criminals have been traced up.

Most countries do definitely have cybercrime division since we are now on hi-tech era which they should really consider on having this thing because this is already rampant nowadays regarding on internet crimes.
They do really need to take some action to prevent on spreading and victimized lots of people. If op do have a complaint against on a crypto crime he can anytime make reports on any precinct and look for the appropriate group to handle or to be asked of.
6311  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/ - is not working on: December 21, 2017, 10:46:46 PM
This is the main thread for that website made by achow101 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1142314.0 And he did updated that thread last December 17, 2017 and he's aware about that.
Update #6: Due to the new Cloudflare DDoS protection that has been implemented on the forum. the account statistics checking bot is unable to access the forum to get the relevant information. The site will be down indefinitely and a static webpage has been put in place informing as such.
That site is mainly used not really for the price but for the potential activity. I have no knowledge on what's another good alternative for it anyway, what's your reason about desperately looking for another one?

I have seen such update been posted by achow101 regarding on the situation of bctalkaccountpricer site which it cant really check statistics because of cloudfare. Accepting the fact that this kind of site is somehow helpful though on checking on your potential activity even myself did tend to use this site but we cant really avoid the fact that this site is also being used for selling purposes (checking account history, potential activity and even estimated price) . Ive been searching for another similar website but I cant still see one as of now.
6312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 21, 2017, 06:39:57 PM
Hi. How can you recognize pumps and dumps for any coin? Is there any universal indicators? I mean to predict it. Maybe there are some non-market signs (banners, posts, etc.)
Should I avoid pumps and dumps or try to earn some money?
It would be interesting to know your opinion, guys! Thanks

I think pump and dump may be very profitable, but not for anyone, because you should be able to do the things contrarywise..

I`ve noticed that it`s very hard to buy coin at the bottom, when everybody selling and dumping it, and it`s feeling very easy to buy on top, together with all that stupid crowd who will lose their money soon

So this is the psycho-indicators, beware of crowd, don`t buy on top, do contrarywise

Pump and dump it's a part of business and no need to worry about it because it's price is connected with market trade some time it's price will pump and sometime it's price will be dump I looking here that a lot of people are worry about it's price bitcoin is now very stable in market and day by day it's price is going high and nothing will happen to its price because bitcoin know how to take it price from high to highest so just keep yourself busy with bitcoin.
The thing we should really bother about is on those pump and dump schemes which price manipulation is really possible but on those coins who do have lower supply and lower cap which some people do really take some advantage specially on newbie trader which do easily believe into their scheme on scamming or fraud. Profiting is possible on any way and its not really necessary or need to join up any groups. Pumps and dumps is just normal on this very volatile market of cryptocurrencies.
6313  Economy / Economics / Re: People are extremely biased towards bitcoin. on: December 21, 2017, 05:29:36 PM
Most people here and reddit will defend bitcoin no matter what instead of looking at the problems. Every time someone comments something about the speed or transaction fees they will just yell ''FUD'' or ''Another attack on bitcoin'' but it's not always that. I have been a strong supporter of bitcoin myself but we have to face it, it's not in a good position right now, sure the price is great but what else? Insane fees that are not getting solved any time soon? I know the demand is high but the ones that are buying are just buying to sell eventually not to support bitcoin, not to use it. The demand will eventually fade away and what do we have left? An outdated bitcoin that won't be able to compete with better coins.

While arguing the fact that Bitcoin fees is rising, have people looked the other aspect? The second best cryptocurrency (can by argued) is Ethereum and transaction fees of ETH lies between $1-8.5 depending upon GAS limit just at this level of adoption. Think if it reaches at the level of BTC adoption, what would be the fees! Same is the case with other coins, their fees depend upon their spread.
The fees of Bitcoin is high because it is most spread cryptocurrency and huge number of transactions are made daily. I doubt if any other coin used at such spread can deliver transaction at relatively lower fees. More or less every coin is Scalability prone.
Same assumptions on here which we do argue about the fees without even thinking that if alts would go on the current position of bitcoin regarding on adoption level would completely experience such problems too but yet its not still sure if they would but chances would really be big. Adoption is one of the reasons why these fees rose up high together with the greediness of those miners which isn't really surprising at all. People would always be biased on the things on where they do benefited the most.
6314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Hitbtc does not withdraws coins on: December 21, 2017, 04:03:29 PM
They dont answer me i write every day Sad
I think this is scum  Sad
HitBtc exchange lately do have some issues regarding withdraws even on deposits too which I don't know if those issues being claimed by some users on their main thread have been resolved or not. If it doesn't then t would really be not safe to use the exchange. Regarding on my experience on the site I don't encounter any problems when it comes to withdrawals of deposits and on OP situation the thing you can do now is to send support ticket and would wait until they would respond regarding on their case.
6315  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What If Govt makes BTC legal in India? on: December 21, 2017, 03:06:47 PM
Hello Guys!!

I'm just curious that what if govt. makes BTC legal in India does it have the same value what is now or lower or higher??
I hear they are going to make it legal soon with gambling.

thanks!
If theres a certain country which would decide to adopt bitcoin then I would say it would positively affect bitcoins price but as being said above I don't think it would really be easily to be recognized or the government of india would decide such thing knowing that they are really very keen into things. For now we don't have any plans or news regarding on such step for them to make but one things for sure if theres an adoption it would really have a positive impact on the price and at the same time positive impact for those people who do live on that place.
6316  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which online wallet for bitcoin is safer? on: December 20, 2017, 09:47:15 PM
-snip-
However more wallets in bitcoin,.But i think Blockchain is safe for us. (  https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/ )
You don't have to have that kind of introduction, you can just say that blockchain.info is safe because of your experience.

the wallet that provide you private key,It is use to safe.blockchain wallet is one of them. You can use the wallet for store bitcoin.
It's blockchain.info it is one of the most popular web wallets and you just need to keep your recovery phrase.
He do made such introduction for more characters to make the post looks longer and appealing on the eyes which I would say its not really necessary at all since he just like to mention on his experience.
Blockchain is reliable though as long you do keep your phrases safe away from other peoples awareness.
6317  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ShapeShift.io Scam? on: December 20, 2017, 09:03:25 PM
I've sent ETH to convert to Bitcoin, and it's been stuck at "awaiting deposit" for the last few hours. I've used them before but for much smaller amounts. I normally send around $500 max but this time I've send around 1.5k to be converted into Bitcoin and this time it's taking forever to deposit when other times it's been instant.

No they aren't since lots of people been using this site for quiet long time now and they are legit. Your exchange took so long because of congested network either both ways. Bitcoin and ETH do have lots of unconfirmed transaction so as expected it would really be delay but one things for sure it would really be credited soon as long you do already make the transactions. If the exchange have been completed but not credited into your account you can anytime email or contact their support. They are really responsive.
6318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: December 20, 2017, 05:09:28 PM
There are projects lately involving bitcoins with casinos like the providence, i don't know how it will work but i think you can use it as a mode of payment to the casino or you can exchange the bitcoins into their created altcoin.
It's popular that bitcoin is associated with an online casino and this is the main business for some casino's. They are making a lot of money on it and it's the easiest way to gamble today because there are too many people who are hoping to gamble anonymously and thanks to bitcoin we can do it by gambling with bitcoins and other alt coins as well.
This is why gambling industry is really becoming big specially on using up bitcoin because of its anonymity which most gamblers would really always prefer to be anonymous which they cant able to do in traditional fiat system gambling this is why bitcoin gambling is really booming up because of this and casino owners would really prefer to adopt this thing because they do saw the big market and possible profits for them since gamblers would really always prefer to use up on this.
6319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Participation in many Airdrops: How profitable, how safe? on: December 20, 2017, 04:01:59 PM
Your income is directly depends on amount of airdrops you are doing daily.
For example ETH Blue, Bitcoin Red - they gave a good profit for every participant.
Don't forget EBTC airdrop which its price did able to rise up but its just an another pump and dump coin and now dev had already gone away and taking some serious money. Its just being hyped up that's why the price did rise up on least we expected.Thats a normal erc20 token which have been hyped up and pumped. Its really profitable on some airdrops but its total random just like being said on previous post. Its actually safe since you didn't put any money or to invest on.
6320  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin the way to fight corruption? Or is it the good way to launder money? on: December 20, 2017, 02:49:25 PM
I don't think it will help in fighting corruption in any way because nobody can find out the names and original identity of any person due to anonymity transaction. Your only identity is your BTC wallet address. This address comprise of both numeric and alphabets (eg: OpzxR2856Ljk).
Moreover, Corrupted persons can use BTC as a money laundering tool to convert their FIAT into BTC.
You are right people would rather hide themselves because bitcoin cant really be tracked up and just being said above I do rather see this thing on negative way when it comes on helping to launder money and would be a good thing for corrupting money instead on helping to avoid it.  This is the negative thing on bitcoin this is why government do really have negative impressions and reasons why they do become strict to accept bitcoin.
