6381  Economy / Economics / Re: Northeast Asian messenger apps doing blockchain business on: July 18, 2019, 10:57:54 PM
Can I make a small prediction here? ---> The large social media platforms will eventually partner with Banks or be bought by a consortium of Banks, if they are successful with this. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20171017006772/en/Chase-acquiring-WePay-fully-integrate-payments-software

The Banks are lazy and they would rather buy out the companies or partner with them, than spending millions on developing their own Blockchain solutions. Yes, there are exceptions like the R3 Group, but most Banks would opt to buy or partner with a solution that are already developed and functioning.  Tongue

No need to make predictions @Kakmakr because I have seen Wepay sudden growth specially here in our country and I was surprised by it, every major store here are now accepting it whether in-app web-based, or native in-app payment system. The only logical reason I can think of its that Chinese are very much familiar with it and we have been sort of like a 'Chinese hotbed tourism' for the last two years now.

But major banks is still predominant, I wouldn't call them lazy but since they can hold 'hostage' any individual and make tons of money out of them. They don't look for innovations (except for some) and would rather continue on their business model of killing other parties by just buying them.
6382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN INVESTMENT IS BETTER THAN NETWORK MARKETING? on: July 18, 2019, 10:41:54 PM
The two is not even comparable. MLM is very different, you need to sell the companies product and you need to recruit people as your downward in order to make money. Bitcoin is more of a investment vehicle, it is you alone, for whatever strategy you used to get profits out of the market.

But you can't just sit and watch it grow, just like a passive income. It's more than that, even if you're just a HODLer, you will undergo a process wherein you will face a difficult question whether to sell when the price is going down or just continue what you are doing, so obviously mental toughness and decision making is very critical and that what separates a beginner from a experience investor in crypto market.
6383  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin sudden dump, when it will bounce again... on: July 18, 2019, 01:55:43 PM
Bitcoin facing another bear market suddenly...what would be the bottom price of btc, Is there is any technical analysis to find?

I think someone has provided a good TA explanation and want could be the potential support and resistance level. But a dip doesn't mean that we are in a bear market, just to let you know.

Why sudden dump happens to bitcoin. Due to this btc dump is there is any possibilities to see hyip in Alt coins.

Obviously, you are a beginner and it seems to haven't seen the roller coaster ride specially from the last bull run in 2017 up to this time. There are a lot of factors like FUD news around, the negative effect of President Trump's tweet, Japanese  exchange reported hacked and then US law makers stance on Libra.

Is bitcoin bounce again?

Of course just like any market out there, a bounce is imminent in crypto. But it will take time so let the market flow on it's natural course.
6384  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: IDAX.pro and coinmarketcap are they legit ? on: July 18, 2019, 01:45:46 PM
Of course, scammers will be scammers, they might camouflage themselves but at the end they will be exposed as well. But since IEO right now is being touted as the safest way to invest as compare to ICO, people are going to be suckered by it specially by mid level exchanges.

The problem though with high tier exchanges that offers IEO is that the lack of tranparency. I mean how can be a token be sold in matter of seconds? Unless whales or there is some insider doing the buying for them and there is no left for casual Joe's like us.
6385  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinFeed.News - The Crypto News Aggregator on: July 18, 2019, 01:38:27 PM
I'm sorry but I don't like the orange background.  Do you have 6 sources only? "
"Bitcoinist CCN Coindesk Cointelegraph NewsBTC News.Bitcoin "?

I think you need to include more crypto related websites to truly call yourself a aggregator. You also need to add more social media contacts as I can see only Twitter on your website.
6386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump tweet / Libra issues / Shortsighted opinions on: July 18, 2019, 01:27:20 PM

When bitcoin was created the intention was to double the money that every person has in this world. This is not sufficient, but it is something that can make make everyone happier and healthier.

I'm so sorry but I think you need to read the whitepaper and understand what Satoshi wanted for Bitcoin.

Anyways, the OP has raised good and valid point here. However, it might just be a tip of the iceberg. US government from what I observed is still in the gray area as far as total ban of bitcoin. I guess Trump just blurted out that statement in thin air and I'm sure by now he knows that his statement is not to be taken seriously. I'm sure he doesn't want to be called the President who wanted to kill Bitcoin, on the contrary US has a lot of internal problems to prioritize like their economic stability and others more pertinent issues.

My point is that as much as what he tweeted was negative, I wouldn't say that it he will stop Bitcoin at all cost. Maybe his aim is to have a full crypto regulatory framework and if he says that he wanted to put America first then Bitcoin is not a threat to them, whatsoever.

~ snip

What are we to do moving forward?

It's really hard to combat those cyber criminals. On our part we always preach not to put everything in an exchange so that you won't lose big amounts of money. On the exchange part, they should always stay up-to-date regarding cyber security and the people they're going to hire should be competent as well. They should also have like a warning or some sort of flags is anything suspicious is going on. I'm sure this point in time, Japanese regulators will have their hands full again after the reported hack and another lessons to be learnt here.
6388  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: July 18, 2019, 11:46:41 AM
These emotions are overly emphasize already. But why are people still falling for it? It's because it is really hard to check as people are know to always involved emotions. Specially in the market where we live in, tons of money and there is a lot of 'what if' in our mind. I also a victim of this as well, that's why I tend not to spend a lot of hours in front of my pc. If I hit my goal then I exited and not thinking of those "what if" moments because it will really affect me negatively in the end. At least we live another day and continue as compare to doing all trades in a day that could really impact your logical thinking.
6389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc $300, $3000 on: July 18, 2019, 11:30:17 AM
the price is headed towards the ATH that we had before meaning to $20000 and now you are waiting for a drop and not just any normal drop a ridiculously big drop!!!

so let me ask you this, are you new to any market in general?

If we are going to based on his account, then obviously we can say that he is a newbie. In any case though, getting back to the last all-time-low is very possible. I mean Bitcoin is a speculative asset, however, since we are in a bullish sentiments already, chances are it will be very hard to see that price going that low, unless there is a massive FUD we've never seen before that could bring the price to a 30%-50% downward spiral.

Perhaps the OP just miss his/her opportunity to really buy Bitcoin at its last cheap price and we may never see the price go back to that levels again.
6390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING of Bitcoin in a broker or exchange? on: July 18, 2019, 11:11:17 AM
As far as I know there's a lot of forex broker who's also into buying Bitcoin for their client. And as @BitHodler has pointed out Robinhood can also be considered as a crypto broker, so it really depends on how you define "broker" in a sense in crypto. Because as far as we know, the setup is that you as a trader opening a account to a trading platform. Of course there is no broker in between because you directly transact everything, without any entities or individual in-between.

So there is a lot of pros and cons and if you are used to the old and traditional way of trading or investing. Crypto is very different from what we used to know and that is why it is more exciting to trade in this market.
6391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 18, 2019, 11:04:03 AM
Yes I still rate Federer at the top and it is hard to compare the great players. There is one thing that for me outshines Federer when it comes to comparing him with Djokovic and that is that Djokovic has done this in an era where there have been the best players we have seen and he has beaten them all. Just think back to when Federer and Nadal were winning all their Grand Slams, they didn't really have much competition where as Djokovic has had to play and beat arguably the two best players ever and not once but on a number of occasions. We can also put Murray into the mix up there with Federer and Nadal so when we look at it, Djokovic has played and won in an era that is a lot tougher then when Federer and Nadal started to win their Grand Slams.

Don't get me wrong though, I still think Federer is one of the greatest players ever but when you look at Djokovic record and who he has beaten it just looks a lot better.

I totally understand your point. Competition has really step up in the last decade. Roger just caught Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi at the end of their career as compare to Djokovic who had to face a prime Nadal or Roger himself.

But if order to really settle the argument, if he can beat Roger's record (and I'm sure he will), then I think there is no doubt that he will surpass Roger's greatness.
6392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fortress Buying MTGOX Customers BTC for $900 (200% of bankruptcy value)??? on: July 17, 2019, 07:29:04 PM
I am not sure is there any solution for victims on the horizon, or this case will last for few more years - but what I notice from published letter is that Fortress offer is valid only until July 31. Question is why they limit their offer for such a short time?

They wanted to put more pressure on those victims and wanted to get everything from them at a cheap price. It's like a 'take it or leave it' offer. So if you really wanted to get this out of your chest and totally move on, I'm sure majority of the victims here will take that bite and doesn't care how much they've lost (after so many years). So Fortress wanted to take advantage of the sentiments and emotions for those who have lost and offering something that it is hard to refuse.
6393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hope for the best, Expect the worst on: July 17, 2019, 07:08:03 PM
the drop has lost its downward momentum, so apart from what it might be seen on the charts with TA i currently don't see any more drops coming with the way price pushed back up from $9k and has been resisting further drops.

so unless some new wave of FUD and panic begins in the market to create another selling momentum to break the $9000 level we may not see the "worst" but yeah lets expect $7k to not be disappointed Cheesy

Yes, it seems that the bleeding some stop today, price goes on 5 digits again but we don't know who far this recovery will go or this is just another bull trap. Well who wouldn't want to see the price goes on $7000? Another golden opportunity to stash more BTC and then just ride the wave. But I'm not seeing another pull, but for experience traders, they already have plans for any momentum shifts.

But for noobs, this will also be another test for them and see how can they stand specially seeing the price goes down from $13000-$9000. So let's see and just hope that everything will be on our favor.
6394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want trade by bot what do you think are you with bots or not on: July 17, 2019, 07:01:07 PM
want trade by bot what do you  think  are you with bots or not
i have idea to link my bot to indicators like rsi example if it hit 20 buy if   hit 60 sell something like this

I have bots by I seldom used it today but I just prefer to just HODL in the current state of the market. However, it looks like you are a total noob in trading (don't take it personally), so I will advise you against using bot. The main reason is that you need to set certain parameters, which for beginners might be a daunting task. J

ust try and get a feel of trading without using any automated tools first and see how it goes for you. If you have gained some experienced and have the confident they you can slowly implement your trading activity with an trading bot.
6395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 17, 2019, 06:54:44 PM
There is no doubt that Federer is the greatest of all time however we are seeing that Djokovic isn't very far behind him and I even rank Djokovic ahead of Nadal because Djokovic has won more Grand Slams on different surfaces where as Nadal has won all he's Grand Slams mostly on clay which in my opinion isn't a very good record. Yes he is the king of clay but it would look better if he won more Grand Slams on other surfaces like Djokovic and Federer.

If Djokovic continue his run and eventually past Federer with the most number of wins in a Grand Slam then no doubt we will have a discussions as to who is the GOAT of this general and others might consider him ahead of Federer if we are going to base on that criteria.

The strengths of both player in any surface is also a indication how great they really are as compare to Nadal's amazing run on clay specially on French open. But currently, for me it is still Federer, at the top of my list.

@Royse777 - Don't you worry mate, I'm sure you will recover that 0.05BTC you have lost in tennis.  Grin
6396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: July 16, 2019, 10:21:21 PM
The market keeps falling without anything specific as the reason for some immediate price mover which none expected to take place by this year. Market dump and pump is common thing with cryptocurrency, we need to be prepared to experience any form of market fluctuation. This way can gain or multiply the holdings even when the market is completely bearish.

I think in the last 24 hours, there is a drastic change in the price, it dramatically fall and we have seen it going below 4 digits. It's a scary thought to see the price plummets without any specific reason. But I'm sure you know that the market works this way. We might not like what we are saying today, but this is crypto, wherein the price can change very quick without any indication.

So the best thing to do right now is just wait till everything settles down. And as what we have preach, take every situation to stash more Bitcoin because we're already in a bullish trend. This is just normal price retracement and I'm sure the price will start to pick up in the next coming days, so take advantage of the current dip.
6397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 16, 2019, 09:52:20 PM
Thurman is a young and very aggressive fighter I don’t think he has time for running even if the strongest blow of Manny hit him directly, for this kind of fighter I believe that only knockout will bring loss to Keith
Well see on Sunday Grin if he won't run once he tasted those punches thrown by Manny. I doubt that this fight will end via KO but we never know since Manny is training very hard for this fight. I think he got to prove to everybody that he could still fight more after this.

The KO will come if it presents itself, it's really hard to predict it the fight will end like that although I'm sure all of us wanted to see Manny ending in a KO but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes on the judges scorecard and Manny getting the nod.

As far as the picture goes, it really looks like Manny has aged obviously, but the body still remains the same. So he is really training very hard for this fight and we might see some glimpse of the old Manny, with his blistering hand speed. But I'm sure he will pick his sweet spot and not fight in spurts as he usually does. Experience is the key for Manny to win this fight.
6398  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Atlas Quantum - Scam or legitimate? on: July 16, 2019, 09:41:42 PM
They offer real high yearly return (+40-70%)
Some say it is a fraud as the current website is only valid since 2018
I cannot find any official company registrations, address, licenses, etc.
They only provide contact details via phone.

You've already identified a number of red flags which should give you pause. If it were me, that would all be more than enough to convince me to stay well away. There are many reviews online of people saying that they deposited money and not only never received the ROI they were promised, but were also unable to withdraw their initial deposit.

Add all this to the fact that they have no external audit of their company or assets, so you have no idea what they are actually doing with your bitcoin. This seems like a front to a Ponzi scheme to me.

Seconded, they might show their faces, but it doesn't mean that they won't pull a exit scam. No external audit? damn, that is so scary if you're a investors. So yes, I will advise the OP as well to stay away and not lured by the so called huge returns, "if it's too good to be true then it probably is".

Just used Google, just try to search that services and a lot of scam reviews and accusations immediately pop-up, another indication that they are not to be trusted.
6399  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: July 16, 2019, 09:33:48 PM
It seems nobody knows how many whales are out there, these whales maybe extremely selfish. Therefore, it is like a country with UNKNOWN Gini coefficient and UNKNOWN leaders, therefore very UNCLEAR economic future. In other words, it is very difficult to predict its future.

It doesn't matter how many whales are in the ecosystem. What economic future are unclear to you? I mean everything is psuedo anonymous and decentralized, even stock and other securities and commodities can easily be manipulated and their future is also unpredictable.

From what I understand, if we consider in the near future, even if the scaling problem are completely solved, bitcoin may still fail because reasons list above in terms of wealth distribution. If you buy bitcoin now, it is like immigrating to a new country. Never underestimate the possibility that bitcoin may go to zero. Do NOT be too confident with bitcoin and put all your money in it.

Bad analogy. Of course, it technically it can go to zero, but the chances are very slim. If bitcoin has to died, it wouldn't seen 10 years. It has grown tremendous that even scaling problems can't stop it adopted by many investors. Thanks for your warning, but I guess people are already aware how volatile this market are but they're willing to take the plunge and the risk.
6400  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bitcoin news writer wants bitcoin price down on: July 16, 2019, 09:25:41 PM
The government seems cant fight fair with crypto, its so obvious that they want to shutdown crypto because they afraid their fiat fall down, they don't realise that the criminal also can be used with fiat and there are more case of criminality using fiat, but this news is going to affect the market, hopefully we stay together and defend btc price

They obviously had the tools and the power to shut it down it they wanted to, but the thing is, the more they try, the more crypto leave them in the dust. I don't know if the author intention is to create a FUD, it's just the state of crypto journalism for years, click bat and misleading articles to get the attention of their readers.

But I guess what the Feds want is complete regulation because I'm sure they know that this can't kill because it's already been out there and growing. And thanks to this article as the price goes down and more players and new and fresh blood will pump the market in the next coming days.
