Sorry for being negative everyone. I just keep seeing the Bitcoin price rise and have major freak outs.

Smiley

I will try to be more positive. I just really want to see some TH/s online.

My preference is for Ken to actually get us listed on an exchange again. Colored Coins sounds nice, but months off (or longer) from being a reality.

While it is a pain moving from exchange to exchange, it really needs to be done for shareholders. Some want to buy, some want to sell. I don't want Ken spending his time trying to facilitate exchanges. Just spend the time, get us on an exchange, and let them do it all.

Havelock seem in the best position.

I agree, I know Ken wants a long term option but we need to be able to trade our shares. I vote Havelock too, take the setup fee from the mining address.

The next 6 weeks will be make or break for this company and we must be allowed to trade. If Ken does not have us on an exchange this week then the only option is to start direct share trading. Now I am sure setting us up on Havelock for 2 months is a far better option than Ken having to update his database/excel 100 times a day.

We cannot be barred from trading, we need an option right now even if its only for a month or two.

Good idea. Its would be like satoshi dust from each shareholder.

643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Ukyo a plan to runaway with our Coins? on: November 16, 2013, 03:42:29 AM
Ukyo needs to move to manual withdrawals and forget about trying to keep weexchange going.

He has stated its taking longer because he plans on keeping weexchange into the future. Simply put, no one will ever use weexchange again, so its time for him to come to terms with reality.

Manual withdrawals. Bad luck if it takes every second of his time. It's he's responsibility.

EDIT: I don't think its a scam, just a farce.
644  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Havelock Investments - Exchange feedback/comments on: November 15, 2013, 06:35:14 AM
BIG REQUEST!!!!!

Can you pleeeeeease add a calculator to the trading platform.

It is such a simple necessity, when buying or selling you put in shares and the price and it tells you the total. So Simple.

I don't want to have to click 'Place Buy Order' to see the total first. Then have to cancel and go back and do it again.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

Please.

Thanks
645  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: November 15, 2013, 06:08:27 AM
is it when the order is on time and will be delivered in January, the cog-F1and2 will converted to cog??

Yep that's correct.

Will these be listed on Havelock too so us owners can trade as well??
646  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: November 14, 2013, 01:18:30 PM
Ukyo,

Given the impending closure of BitFunder, can you please remove the .1 limit to transferring btc to weexchange??

647  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 14, 2013, 12:15:07 PM
sigh, Stop posting that "over and over and over" and STOP THE WITHDRAWING FUNCTIONALITY!.

now I told you, Dump all using pywallet, install the latest electrum and connect using tor, import all addresses and move the coins to a single or a couple of addresses, import them in a wallet.dat. Headache done, this solution WILL stick for a while.

Of course you want a permenant solution, USE LIBBITCOIN.

This would be a great solution except that I am not looking to shut down the site.
The system must stay in sync with the backend for tracking and audit purposes.
We can not have divergence.

-Ukyo

No offence, but no one is ever going to use Weexchange after this debacle.

You are better off simply moving to manual withdrawals, let people get their BTC back, and move on.

Announcing G.ASICMINER, AM100, and TAT.ASICMINER temporary conversion services:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.msg3452278#msg3452278

TAT, is it possible to convert G.ASICMINER-PT shares straight to AM1 on havelock (instead of to AM100)??

Yes, the link mentions that detail in an underlined section:

Quote
NOTE: If you want to go direct from G.ASICMINER to AM1 or direct shares, you may, but you must pay the 5 (five) TAT.ASICMINER-shares-per-whole-share fee still.[/b]

Excellent.

I have to buy AM100 on havelock though, and send you the AM100 shares on havelock because I can't buy more on BitFunder.

How do I push/transfer shares to you on havelock - to user TATInvestments ?

Use the "Xfer" link in your portfolio in Havelock, to transfer directly to issuer.

Done. Cheers

651  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: November 07, 2013, 12:10:37 PM
People can't be unaware of Bitfunder shutdown...

It's in Frontpage.

And LabRat posted in 3 different places.
I can understand some people only buy share because they're available on Bitfunder and they don't check Bitcointalk or BFL forum.

But not anymore.

Could be numerous reasons why they don't know. Holidays, sickness, etc etc

I think the fairest thing is for LabRat to hold the shares for them, keep the dividends for them too. Then when they come back one day, its all waiting for them. This is the fairest way. LR may be able to take a 5% fee for keeping a record of it all, but that it.

Not fair to simply take the shares off the shareholders just because they didn't know to reply.
652  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on [BTC-TC] on: November 07, 2013, 12:06:33 PM
I have not shared details because the asset manager has explicitly asked me not to. As things are planned, all citizens of all nations will be able to use the exchange.
I apologize for the delayed update, but this is simply out of my control. I am waiting on an "OK" then I will be able to share an abundance of information!
Hold tight just a little longer.
Will cog.f2 be setup for trading at the exchange too?
5B per shares,if it is setup to trade again,i hope the price stay at 4~5 B per share

If COG.F2 is put on trade again, it need advertising before to create a demand for it. Otherwise the price will fall inevitably.

Maybe its time to simply convert the COG.F2 to cognitive normal shares, and be done with it.

Obviously when you transfer your shares to Ken they no longer appear on the asset list next to your public btc address.
So.. how will Ken know? unless the btc address also appears to him when the shares are transferred, and he takes a note of it? Then he would ask you to sign that address to confirm?

For example I have tendered my shares. but now I do not appear on the asset list as owning any actm shares.

This is a good and relevant question.

My assumption, is that when you transfer the shares to AMC-TENDER, Ken gets notification somehow that XXXXX shares have been to sent to him from addess blahblahblah

Then we can sign from that address in our wallets.

One way or another, Ken must be able to see the shares came from an address, otherwise there is no point in signing for verification later ... because as you have said, the shares are no longer recorded against your address on the Assets List.

Ken can confirm or correct this

Just waiting to hear from Ken ... what he plans on doing, suggestions etc.

No need to panic. BF closing down is no shock to anyone.
657  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 05, 2013, 01:47:31 AM
Just transferred my shares.
Still, none of the other top 10 shareholders have transferred yet.

Why not?

Either way the shares will be pushed back to Ken on Dec 1st according to the timeline on BF
658  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: November 04, 2013, 10:24:17 PM
No, the intention was to operate the site with verified users only.
The decision to shut down completely is very recent.

As I said, I will post more details a bit later.
Right now I am trying to spend time fixing other things.

-Ukyo

Ok,

Since BF is closing, can you turn ON trading for EVERYONE until November 14 !!

There is simply no point preventing people from the US and those not verified from trading when you are closing anyway.

Just turn all trading back on, and finish it all on Nov 14 as you mentioned.
659  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: November 04, 2013, 10:15:42 PM
With Ukyo announcing BitFunder is closed, I for one am glad LabRat jumped off the sinking ship already.

Otherwise we would be going through it even worse now.

+1 for some foresight by labrat

Edit: +100 for also deciding not to pay dividends through BitFunder. I know a lot of people were annoyed by that, but with BF closing, and so many posts of people complaining they can't get btc out of weexchange, soooo glad Labrat stuck with his plan.

Important Notice (November 4, 2013)

* As of November 14, 2013, no BitFunder user will be able to enter into any new positions or sell positions on the BitFunder website.

Thank You,
Ukyo
