641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETF Decision make a negative impact? on: January 15, 2019, 05:06:39 AM
If ETF response will be negative we might see a new temporary price correction as market doesn't react well at negative news.

If you're in cryto for long-term, just hold your coins, ETF will be approved sooner or later.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 14, 2019, 06:12:21 AM
Indeed, and this is because most of the newly listed tokens have zero added value.

They are based on nothing but speculation and people started to realize that.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 14, 2019, 05:49:32 AM
The main rule in cryto is to never invest more than you can afford to lose. If you open loan, this doesn't sound like you can afford to lose that money. So, the answer is definitely no.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: January 14, 2019, 05:20:15 AM
It all depends on BTC's price, as it is still the engine if cryto market. BTC and ETH still heavily control the price movements of the entire mraket. Perfect example is when ETH went on a bullrun, and at same time, all other altcoins paired against it tanked hard, as all that money moved over to ETH.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies are not necessary says Chinese people on: January 12, 2019, 10:25:18 AM
Bitcoin is part of technology and technology is absolutely necessary because this is the future of payments.

Investing on a digital currency or cryptocurrency is not bad. But if you are investing because you want to get rich, then you're wreck. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose, as the risk is still very high due to market's volatility.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: January 11, 2019, 07:25:58 AM
Market trends (bullish/bearish) are cyclical and that's nit a secret. Meaning that sooner or later trend will reverse and we'll go back bullish.

If 2017 was bullish and 2018 bearish, most people expect a reverse to bullish in 2019. But this is not maths, it could be 2020, as weel or even later. But bulls will come for sure.
647  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: January 11, 2019, 07:22:22 AM
Nobody knows for sure where a buttom of a dip is, so if the price looks good enough for you and you feel that it can raise in the future and bring you a nice profit, just "buy the dip".
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Lost ETH Automatically From Ledger Nano S on: January 11, 2019, 07:20:03 AM
Hi guys,

Today I lost my ETH automatically from my ledger nano s I didn't give my private keys to anyone and my hardware was also kept secure in safe place so as my recovery sheet. I contacted ledger support and didn't get any response yet, but it is weird to see all ETH gone from it. Below is the transaction details. I think I am not going to get it back but just wondering is there any hope?  Sad Cry

If you did not expose your private key on any scam site technically it's impossible to lose your Eth as the hacker needs to approve physically from the Ledger's button the transaction.

Just try to remember where you could have exposed your seed and don't this ever again.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Hodling Coins!!! on: January 11, 2019, 07:15:02 AM
Since you already bought at high price, it is better to wait and let the prices recover. Also, most of the alt coins will just follow the trend of bitcoin so it will not make much of difference.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 10, 2019, 07:15:04 AM
Can someone clear me out for these 2 things?

What is the difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign?

Thanks

For airdrop you just nees to perform once a few tasks to receive for free a small amount of tokens.

For bounty the tasks are more complex, usually reccurent, but the rewards are higher.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: January 10, 2019, 07:12:55 AM
It's very difficult nowadays to distinguish between a legit and scam project.

Scammers became more knowledgeable, they use good Whitepapers, di a lot of external references, take care if social media activity etc. By participating into bounties we assume the risk of being scammed unfortunately.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IBM Unveils World's First Quantum Computer for Commercial Use on: January 10, 2019, 07:09:25 AM
If you check the specifications you'll see that this computer is still far from specifications of a real quantum computer as it was presented as a threat for Internet security. (Not only cryto)
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still support Ethereum, if Vitalik left it? on: January 09, 2019, 07:17:11 AM
Ethereum does not stay in one single person, no matter if this is Vitalik or someone else.

Behind eth there is an entire team that will continue to improve eth with or without Vitalik.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: January 09, 2019, 07:14:54 AM
Bounties will continue to exist as there will always be good projects on the market.

It's harder and harder to identify projects worthing your efforts and time to be involved in their bounties, but bounties will not die for sure.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: January 09, 2019, 07:11:59 AM
Lol, yes, the problem is that most of them are rhe same: early adopters before 2015.

Nowadays it's very hard to get rich overnight. It requires a lot of knowledge and patience.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are Selling off Their Crypto on: January 09, 2019, 07:03:50 AM
You can have a lot of reasons to sell off their cryto even when price is low:
- urgent personal issues and need for fiat
- replacement of btc to alts or vice versa
- etc.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO? on: January 08, 2019, 06:56:16 AM
Some people are just too naive, but most of the people investing in wrong ICOs do not perform sufficient research before.

Here are a few tips to be verified to avoid being scammed during ICOs:
- team's experience
- other websites references to the project
- social media activity
- milestones already succeeded
- Whitepaper
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: January 08, 2019, 06:52:03 AM
You never joined too late if you picked up the good projects/coins.

Great projects will always appear on the market. You just need to do a lot of research to identify them. You might want, also, to invest in some well known coins if you want to minimize the risks.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority will lose money and minds on: January 08, 2019, 06:49:29 AM
I agree that most people lose money in cryto as they panic sell at every market dip.

You can lose your minds and suffer from depression only if you invest more than you can afford to lose.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are Selling off Their Crypto on: January 08, 2019, 06:46:43 AM
You don't know at what price people selling right now bought their cryto. If someone bought btc at 1k only, even at these low price their profit is 4 times higher.
