641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does anyone here give trading tips to friends? on: August 22, 2016, 10:53:29 AM
I manage a small amount of BTC and alts on behalf of a few close friends who trust me and who rely on me to take the right calls on that portfolio. They have all committed to a 3 to 5 year holding horizon.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: August 22, 2016, 10:45:41 AM
How can we keep track of how the crowdsale is progressing?
Will you post periodic updates here as key funding milestones are crossed?
643  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ? on: August 22, 2016, 10:36:35 AM
Have you tried downloading openbazaar and seeing if you are able to sell digital goods there?
I recall seeing reasonably decent digital inventory from many vendors there
644  Local / India / Re: Buying bitcoin from coinsecure on: August 22, 2016, 05:48:21 AM
Thanks, looks like that may be the lowest all-in charge in the Indian market presently?
Will give you guys a try soon
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will ETC go?? on: August 22, 2016, 04:48:33 AM
ETC has now settled in the 25 to 35 sat range where it looks well-supported. Based on the ecosystem updates coming out of the Classic camp, I think we can see a move toward 45 to 50 over the next few weeks
646  Local / India / Re: Buying bitcoin from coinsecure on: August 22, 2016, 04:37:10 AM
The website says that the trading commission is 0,3%. Is that the whole cost of transacting or are there any other additional on top charges? Thanks
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good coins to accumulate and hold relatively long to mid term on: August 22, 2016, 04:34:28 AM
I have my eye on the following:
MAID: good technicals, good team, small but growing trading community
Z-Cash: will be a huge pump when it launches
ETC: have a trading position, and I like it at the current price which I see as downside-protected
Synereo: if Steemit falls apart, we might see some up action here, but still watching this
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: August 21, 2016, 05:37:21 PM
I think Z-cash will eat Monero's breakfast, lunch and dinner on the back of pulling in the punters on the back of its impressive cast of investors and engineers. Cannot see Monero being more than a niche alt.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need your Opinion on this guys! Please help. Best BTC WALLET for you. on: August 21, 2016, 05:33:28 PM
Go with some combo of bitcoin-qt, blockchain.info and paper wallets off bitaddress.org, and I would expect that you will be fine

651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Synereo pump incomming on: August 18, 2016, 11:18:48 AM
Hmm. That would be the anti-steemit trade, right? At a lower valuation.
And with yoursnetwork to come, the blockchain-based social network space is certainly poised to heat up
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar , a failure ? on: August 18, 2016, 08:35:02 AM
I think it is far too early to call OpenBazaar a failure. It is a radical improvement from a UI/UX and decentralisation perspective to previous crypto marketplaces such as bitmit.net. Give it time.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC now number one coin in Poloniex (surpasses ETH in volume) on: August 11, 2016, 11:56:09 AM
Yes, the dump is over and I expect ETC to get pushed up to the low $2's again in US time. As a small trader, right now you are playing with fire and need to be very careful.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar to give away 19 billion lumens to bitcoin holders on: August 10, 2016, 07:32:06 AM
The idea originally was to get BTC, then the only public blockchain of note, holders and adopters to endorse Stellar (implicitly) by owning Lumens. You can't make them buy it, so you just give it to them. Economically braindead, then and now
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the position of Stellar crypto currency on: August 10, 2016, 06:19:10 AM
I think it is fair to say that Stellar has stalled somwhat in terms of mainstream adoption, although more recently there was some positive newsflow around banks testing the protocol
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 30+ projects being moved over from ETH to ETC on: August 10, 2016, 04:56:45 AM
Yes, ETC is indeed a fresh opportunity to go long an immutable advanced smart contracts blockchain with significant dev activity (hopefully), for those of us (myself included) who missed the ETH boat
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Obvious ETC manipulation to keep the price low on: August 09, 2016, 12:18:14 PM
I think ETC may well start getting pumped again in US time. I bought some more around $2 and think that's a reasonably safe trading level at the moment, but we shall see
658  Economy / Services / Re: LetItRide Signature campaign. CLOSED FOR NEW MEMBERS on: August 07, 2016, 07:55:09 AM
Thanks, mexxer-2. Happy to go with what you are suggesting.
659  Economy / Services / Re: LetItRide Signature campaign. CLOSED FOR NEW MEMBERS on: August 07, 2016, 03:33:13 AM
Received payment, thanks. One question that I do have is: a reasonable number of my posts were in the Altcoin section that, as per campaign rules, should have fetched me 1.2x the normal per post pay, but that appears not to have happened. Any reason for this?
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bullish - Megaupload to implement BTC microtransactions on: August 05, 2016, 03:32:37 PM
Much as I would like to believe that this will herald a new dawn for BTC price and adoption, I am cautious. Can't help feeling that if such a huge thing was actually being built, we would have heard of it much sooner
