Ok, as i said i am implementing a shop right now, but wont finish it till at least sunday evening (CET). Furthermore the next thing i will build is a deposit-detection-automatition. Currently users have to look up if the coins were deposited or not  and i want to automate that.

I have also a few more things in mind to start soon.

At the moment all purchases are done with BTC.. but i plan to implement a shop for rigs and upgrades in VMC that is cheaper than buying in BTC.. that might also boost the price of VMCs a bit.. well, we'll see. This is a somewhat busy week again. Will try to get some code done tonighht though.

Time to emptie my bank account. This is way more profitable!

(And to be honest: Living in the EU it is still more save than our banks)

Welche Art Sicherheit gibst du einem eigentlich? Also für den Fall, dass du die BTC "verlierst"?

1. if anybody has been directly (really) scammed by SC1/2 so far, it would have had a very big exclamation here in this forum

2. the source-code of SC is openly published and i think some talented coders have critically checked it, but there was no big cry about it in this forum (the standard-SC-bashing counts for nothing, this is fun for the popcorn-fraction)

1) Is someone in a ponzi scheme actually getting scammed the way, for example, Bitscalper users got scammed? Scammed/Not scammed is not very well defined.

2) The Source was received but months after the initial release of SC2. Noone knows what RS did have included in his binaries before the release and since he forced to update the bins every time he changed his underpants noone can say exactly what happened here and there..

Personally i think this post about microcash being malware is a bit exaggerated.. But it is right. As every ponzi scheme Microcash/Solidcoin has only the goal to benefit the owner or first few people and therefore i think people should be warned about it.

Getting thin skinned?

I just made my point - sorry for doing so in an open discussion. All i say is that everyone knew that Bitscalper was a scam and most of us participated. Some were fast enough withdrawing, others were left behind. When you were a kid? Did you play with dogs the good old game where you tease a dog till he tries to bite you? Some kids are really good at it, others are so slow they get bitten.. Would you now say the dog's holder is the one to blame?
Sorry, but bitscalper had a unique record of claims and so called technical problems that everyone who was intelligent enough jumped off it early enough. If you believed until the bitter end that you were going to be the one who gains from it then its your own fault.

I think he had written that before he could fully understand the scope of that scam... you could blame him for naivity but not for your mistakes.
648  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner 2.0 - Running! on: May 02, 2012, 05:29:05 AM
I never stop to surprise myself. I somewhat managed to comment out the parts of a file that handles buys/sells..
Simple reason: Sleepy mind saw those lines and thought "Oh, thats outdated code. Let me remove it" - and i put it into comments.. Buys and sells work now again.

well, what a shame that his Bundespolizei stuff was also made up. A thing I havent forgotten by the way.

Not sure it was made up but i couldnt find anything on their page while looking for a few minutes. Would be nice if there was for future reference..
650  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: May 01, 2012, 09:28:58 PM
I really dont think BCX wrote this.. From what i read so far bcx doesnt make up things like that about the german Bundespolizei etc.. also he would know better than to talk about hackers.. normally he uses very very different terms for those morons and copy&pasters....

Buuut *Thumbsup* for whoever wrote this. I hope this flourishing enterprise called "Microcash" will go down in flames..
651  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner 2.0 - Running! on: May 01, 2012, 09:10:38 PM
Alright.. so far the game has been running for almost 10 hours and i got no complains.. that is a new record Wink

Anyway - its picking up speed. I got a few new users today and many more using the game. Thanks for all your trust in the past month and hopefully we can all make that game work Smiley

663 tickets have now been sold. What are you going to do with your BFL single?

Build a better Arduino. What else would you do with a BFL?
653  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Announcement] Bitscalper under new management. on: April 30, 2012, 08:04:26 PM
hoo:

Well.. tbh - we all knew that Bitscalper was a scam and there had been multiple "rounds" been played. If you were happy enough to "win" most of the rounds in the beginning you were not automatically entitled to win every round of that ponzi game. Just understand that you, as many others, just lost that game and thats it. Noone except the real bitscalper owes you anything..

Gibt es einen unterschied zwischen CGMiner und BTCMiner? Also geschwindigkeitstechnisch?

657  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner 2.0 - Discussion on: April 27, 2012, 11:38:03 PM
Finished almost everything that is on my list. The only thing missing right now is the faucet code.. but since there is no money in the faucet the faucet doesnt matter anyway.

I just sent the second Virtualminer newsletter to the user:
Quote
Hi,

Virtualminer is back online! After various problems with the previous VPS provider that deleted my Domains and killed off my VPSs I finally could get the game back up.
It all took much much longer than i ever expected it to, but i hope that everyone will understand that there can be times when real life work is more important than some hobby.. anyway.. in the past weeks i put a lot of time and effort into Virtualminer and can finally say: It is back online.
The whole game got rewritten in major parts. It is now divided into two parts: Website Mode and Desktop Mode. The Desktop mode is basically the old game but stripped of some elements like the exchange and user options etc. For this stuff we now have the Website Mode. On the website you will have access to most data and the new exchange. Aside of these changes i have also included a lot of patches and fixes that should make the gaming experience a lot more enjoyable.
The downside of this is that i have changed a lot of the inner workings of the \"block hashing process\" and the old chain definitions were no longer compatible. Due to that I had to make the hard decision to fully wipe the chains and coins (except BTC of course as well as the rigs..). But on the bright side: This is a fresh start and makes the game ready for the new algorithms..
The game is now halted till 12:00am May 1st (GMT) and will after then resume normal gameplay.
Till then you can set up your rigs, create chains or just explore the new page.

Cheers
Nachtwind
