Ok, everyone cross your fingers. After much toil, trial and error, and sacrificing my soul to satan, I'm finally compiling a Mac wallet.

EDIT: 2 hours later.. Still compiling.

Lol How's things going, still Compiling ?

Yeah, and that's the dependencies.. ETA: No friggin clue!

I hope there's a bounty for the Mac wallet, I've been working on it for nearly 24 hours, lol

Ok, a small announcement for today. I activated the stratum server at 888.fedaykin.us, I need everyone to switch over to that one instead of the one at 888us.fedaykin.us. I'll give it 24 hours since there's not alot of people mining at this point. After that, I'm going to change the DNS for 888US to redirect to 888. The reason for doing this is I'm clearing out one of the servers, getting ready to test some gaming scripts and I want it completely isolated just in case there's a security breach (more on my end than anything, since I'm going to be playing with heavily modified game scripts). When everything's said and done, I want to be able to offer gaming alongside every pool, but need to make sure it's secure, and give each game its very own wallet, etc.

So you will be able to play games on your mining rig as it mines??

Well, the idea is just some simple gambling games.. I've found one that I'm working on modifying a bit but it's not working yet. I'm still learning with PHP, and pretty busy, so getting it going is going to take a while I think. In the future I'd like for every one of my pools to have some sort of game attached to it, where you can gamble your newly minted coins and give me a chance to win them from you :b

Even if it's not very useful, it does provide one way to "spend" your coins. Might not be good, though, if you're a gambling addict!

Does anyone know what the correct trading symbol is for this coin? According to the wallet its 'TESLA' but I've tried to get it added to the coin vote list on c-cex.com but their saying the maximum symbols allowed is 4  Huh

Btw, you can vote for the coin to be added on https://comkort.com/vote

Hmm, I've put it as TX3 on the pool. I don't know if it's going to cause problems giving it a 5 letter designation. I'll change it after while and we'll see.

Wow Thanks Oldminer Wink

No probs Smiley

Also, anyone else having a problem with connections may want to add the rpcport to your teslax3.conf file as well

Example teslax3.conf file

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
server=1
listen=1
rpcport=1856
addnode=107.170.124.23
addnode=107.170.76.7
addnode=95.141.20.200
addnode=205.234.139.125
addnode=95.180.111.173
addnode=184.171.213.239
addnode=98.202.54.206
addnode=207.181.245.19

Thanks Smiley

Sometime today I'll restart the daemon really fast with new settings in place.. If you see any errors that is why.

edric, is there any bonus for being the pool's high roller for a good 12 hours now? haha!
Hmm, not really, but I will see about adding a small block finder bonus. I think the latest commits to MPOS added support for it, I will have to get with the devs and ask. I'm all for giving extra incentives to my miners!

That reminds me, would user "oldriga" please contact me with a payout address? Just use the contact form on the site.

I've got a few million myself, waiting to see what happens.

COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPERS I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

If it hasn't see any confirmations you need to WAIT till it does.

My god alex, please stop spamming.. I tried to help you the best I can, there's nothing I or anyone else, likely, can do for you. I'm very sorry, but doing this isn't going to help. I've received several messages from this guy, I tried to help him out and really have no idea why his transaction got screwed up, since it didn't come from my pool, though, I cannot really do anything at all! Poor guy.

Sweet, I Actually Won Something Finally  Tongue
Figures it would be a pile of birdshit  Grin
hahaha..

I'm experimenting with some stuff I found on GitHub for gambling. I'm testing and modifying it on my VM, we'll see if I can make it work with birdcoin.

I've found some scripts here, one called CoinDice 2.0, but I'm absolutely sure that it's got some kind of hole in it and unfortunately my php-fu isn't up to par, at least not to where I'll know the flaw if I see it..

I want to host some games!

My pool has really died off again, back to around 14MH.. We were back up to 80-ish the last couple of days. Sad

Short attention spans around here. I don't think that serves people very well though. I think 888 may have a good long-term viability if people would just stay put for awhile, don't jump ship or dump off. Then again, I'm a techie, not a stock broker.

The fee at my pool is 0.5% for the time being, set it back there the other day and I'll leave it for a while. The 25% giveaway is tomorrow, there's not much to give this time around, but we'll do it anyway! If anyone wants to throw in or buy me a birthday present, please let me know! The addresses in my sig are up to date!

This week's winners are Nthused with 1466666 BRD and laufer with 733333 BRD! Congrats guys, and hopefully soon we'll be able to spend our birdies!

Tune in next week and keep mining!

PS: Dev, I thought you were sending 1m to the pool? As soon as you do, I'll split it up and pass it to all miners who've been active for the last couple weeks!!
Thanks!

Ok, changed confirmations. Fingers crossed that this doesn't break payouts.

Just for fun send few Mh/s to your pool Smiley

Thanks! Pool seems to be looking good. We're finding blocks. First block finder reward goes to "oldriga". When we build up enough coin to pay it out, I will manually send it.

Pool is working great Smiley

Excellent.. Anyone know how many confirms mined blocks need? I want to turn down block confirmations but don't want to screw up my payout cron.

15?
I have a Confirmed 6 confirmations, mined balace will become available when it matures in 9 blocks

Sounds good.. Give me a minute, I will go in and change it.

I'm just curious where some of you guys are from. I promise I'm not the NSA  Cool

I'm from Paducah, KY and recently just moved back here from Nashville, TN.

Abilene, TX here, Mr. NSA!

Sucks here, nice and warm today, probably freezing tomorrow.

Stupid Mountain Lion VM isn't working.. Gonna try Snow Leopard. One of those times where having an AMD cpu is a bite in the butt.

There's just no real substitute for using a real Mac, thanks to Apple's prohibition on running their OS on non-apple hardware.
