Since so many people are blocking signatures, advertisements are much harder to get people to view and click on. I have come up to a solution to this. Instead of using the signature field, spammers could include the advertisement in their post. It could go above/below the content of the post. Thoughts?  This may or may not be satire. Please don't -rep.Do you mean a forum ad should appear in their posts by default? Sorry I didn't get what you mean but if ads are displayed in posts too,that will make forum useless and it will turn into a classified ads site  |

I've seen a lot of people arguing that Bitcoin can be profitable because of its volatility and convenience, but sometimes I feel that people using Bitcoin as an investment have little enthusiasm for its main use as a means of trading without an intermediary.
Under what circumstances should Bitcoin be treated as investment and to what extent should people think about its use as a global currency?
To be honest, bitcoin role has changed a lot.Now 90% of people using bitcoin consider it be an investment and not just a currency. Bitcoin is bought and hold and sold frequently by every bitcoin owner these days. |

You have to decide NOW how many bitcoins will make you rich in the future because it's getting to the point where an upper middle class American or European can no longer buy a full bitcoin.
Anyone have any ideas how many you'll need to be rich in 2020 and 2025?
If the rising trend of bitcoin continues till 2020-2025,BTC price would be $10k per bitcoin.Also if $ keep its strong position in international market,I think even 5 btc would be enough for one to be rich. It also depends on which country you live in. |

I read the posts and as i find out, what1005 sent $26 worth of btc to podgar while he should sent $20 and it seems they agreed that podgar should refund the extra money ($6) to what1005 but now he don't want to do that.
So now he has $6 that is belong to what1005 and i advice him to refund that.
If podgar can prove the other story he should do it now.
Yes I think you have interpreted it very nicely and yes this seems to be the case.Since What1005 sent him this by mistake and ethics and honesty demand Podgar should return the excessive amount to What1005,but this is not a case of a scam.Podgar didn't like,make any false promise or refused to deliver the product for what he promised. |

He create 2nd account to find out why his 1st account was banned and he admitted fact of creating alt page for fair. Mods give him some answers and bannd his 2nd account. He did not use 2nd account and wait for unbann his 1st. but it still in ban.
How can we fix it? because mods are wright, but he wright to. If I had a bitcoin for every time someone has claimed it was their roomate, brother, dog, I'd have at least several bitcoins. it is just your thoughts, but 50% it is true i am shure. If we complain against someone it is a requirement to put our name in it, if we are afraid then we will look like a coward and unsure about our complain or just making a story...
Anyway, I have reported so many and I have no problem with that, and it's just your email and not your password and :
If someone's report is found wrong or fake and his accuracy is less than say 60%, he can be punish by banning. And do you know we can put fake email in our profile, a non-existing one like 123@xxx.vc etc. So revealing email is not a deterrent. |

Every time I see some spamming the forum or abusing,threatening someone,I report him to moderators using the option given below every post.
I believe it is every members duty to help mods keep this place clean and given the amount of message posted, it is not possible for staff to handle this without members help.
But what troubles me is that every time we report someone,our email is disclosed to staff.

Well i just found this in bitcointalk unofficial rules, 8. No threats to inflict bodily harm, death threats. I think he just joking with you because of your name? But still it shouldn't be allowed to have people intimidating and being objectified to such things from anyone. That is a form of harassment and that is tolerated on an open public forum? Then anyone can be off their medication and start being a nuisance to anyone they like.  That is just not right.  There is a link labelled "Ignore" under anyones username on this forum, click it and you will never receive a private message from that person again. That is the simplest answer to your question - there was no threat implied from what he sent you, but some people just like to be hateful. I do not think this is a solution.Ignore if you see something bad happening around you,is that what you want? I would say stand against them.Report him to mods. His message may not be threatening but it is insulting and racial. |

Satoshi Nakamoto is the originator of bitcoin. But No one knows whos satoshi nakamoto is. And I know He/She is here and Just watching what is happening in bitcoinworld. I hope someday Satoshi Nakamoto will reveal his/her identity in Bitcoinworld. Why do you think that satoshi has not revealed himself as of yet? I mean for such a prolific invention, he'd be a star, so why hide? Hide for safety, I think satoshi have many bitcoin. So hiding is the best way to hide your treasure. Of course many people want to find him, want to kidnap, want to robbed. So Hiding his/her identity is the best way to be secure his treasure, his life and his family. I do not think this is the reason of him concealing himself. There are many other millionaires in this world but they dont hide themselves.These days even terrorist made appearances in videos. |

Well the post is important if you apply on a campaign but really in post if you have 100 post you're still in a newbie rank.. why? because it is based on your activity the activity is the one who will be updated in 2 weeks by 14 activities now you have 28 the rank is really based on what your activity is and you should really notice it by now because on that activity it has a lower number than your post so if you really want to rank up just check always your activity how much is it but i think the jr. member is 35 or more for you to rank up The posts made while the activity is frozen will matter for the rank later?  I am not sure if I understand your question.But to achieve activity,only two post during 14 days is enough.You can see here some Sr,Members have more posts than other Sr.Member yet there activity is more or less same.You get 14 activity point each 14 days |
