641  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 19, 2016, 06:02:39 PM
I am ready to go to work, even physical. I spent his adult life working physically with your hands. I'm not afraid of hard work, and if I need to lead this kind of earnings, I do not turn away and going to work.

Well that's the right thing to do, if we need money desperately then we need to find a job that pays on hourly basis, even if they pay bit less we should compromise at that moment.

Most people are going to the banks when in desperate need of cash. It's the worst thing you can rely on, because banks are NOT here to help us. They're here to just take our money and take advantage off it. Because of debts, many people are even taking their lives.. The best thing you can do is finding something LEGAL that you can to in a short time (or long, depending on your need), like a secondary job.

If you are very desperate for money, the bank will not lend you. They will only lend to people who can pay back.
642  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 13, 2016, 08:43:28 AM
I was thinking of putting together a project and this brought it to mind.  It would be Bitcoin insurance.  Basically a wallet that is fed from your pay or however, but on a regular basis.  The company that creates the insurance holds the private keys and that keep people from hitting their wallets every time they see a new toy out there.

This could be bad at start. How will you gain their trust first. You need a lot of spending before they would trust you. What else is bad here. You hold the private keys so a mess could possibly happen if you are the one hacked. They cant even do a thing.
That business would not work, and you cannot just sell that when you are in desperate need of money, you better take a loan in the bank and you get all your properties as your collateral so you can avail.
You can loan in the bank if you have a stable work but if you dont have any work you can not take a loan..
If you desperate you can only get or borrow money  in your family..

I think it is better to borrow fiat with the collateral as bitcoin. You can make profits in the long term as the bitcoin price will rise.
643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: August 07, 2016, 08:09:43 AM
i am not thinking about it but i am sure that the price of bitcoin will even cross 1000$ very easily. i am hopeful that at the end of 2016 you will even see the price of bitcoin about 1200$. i think it is still good time to buy bitcoin. if some one is interested he can buy it other wise they will be able to see the present price in future.

It will not be very easy to get to $1000 very easily. The $1000 price could be reached in the first half of next year.
644  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: July 25, 2016, 11:26:24 AM
I think the bitcoin price will reach $1000 in the next 6 to 12 months. More people will use the bitcoin in the mean time.
645  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: July 10, 2016, 01:17:24 PM
Possible that it will reach that level. But lets wait and see after the halving of BTC because its the major factor that's gonna affect the price of bitcoins.

The $1000 has nothing to do with halving. There are already 75% of the bitcoin out there. The having has less effect.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 25, 2016, 06:50:50 PM
I think definitely, it will be very easy for bitcoin to reach $1000 again. When it happens though will be simply a matter of time in my opinion. Bitcoin has great potential to be achieved.

When fiat collapses, it would be easy as for bitcoin to achieve $1000+.

When in some parts of the world the fiat currency system starts to break,I can tell you we won't talk about $1000/BTC anymore.
In such a case we would hit the $10.000+ barrier!!I have no doubt about that.

I think even without the break of the fiat system, the price of bitcoin will rise a lot. Imagine if 10% of the USD is replaced by bitcoin.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach a billion market cap this year? on: June 09, 2016, 06:48:36 AM
The Ethereum price is quite stable at the moment. It is above the $1 billion for some time. It might even rise to $2B.

We need some good news to push the Ethereum price higher. There is no big news for the time being.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach a billion market cap this year? on: May 27, 2016, 08:38:34 AM
$19/ETH this year, call me crazy.

Nope.  Not crazy.  Grin

The Etheruem set a new all time high of dollar price yesterday. So it is possible for the price to rise further.

True.  Though with DAO coming soon eth will prob drop a lot.

We need another DAO or some kind of new applications to consume the Ethereum. If there is one, the price can be maintained.

No worries. There will be more applications of the Etheruem in the future. The Augur will appear.
649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: May 20, 2016, 02:41:44 PM
This price is achieveable in the next year but not possible to achieve in this year as  price is rising slowly so we cannot expect this price in short time.

Yes it could happen sometime soon but that's me being very optimistic. Overal I expect the price to go up to 600 this year and next year? Well we will see. At the moment it is good to see we are far above 200 dollar.

Yeah and I don't think that bitcoin will fall back to 200 in coming days, as price has started to move up now  so we can expect higher price in next couple of months.

It will not fall back to $200 in the future if there is no big disaster to the bitcoin. But it might fall below $400.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: May 07, 2016, 07:54:32 AM
Well? Will it?

So far I've a lot of doubt.

well actually i think that it is possible, as price of bitcoin had a huge rise few days ago, from 420$ to 470$, and  i don't think that this rise will stop anytime soon

and also halving in July, it will rise price for sure, so i am almost sure that price will go to 1000$ or even more, as lots of people predicts this price at end of 2016 or earlier

The bitcoin price will trade around 450 dollars for a few more weeks. It is still in the consolidation stage after last year's rise.

It will but the real question is when it is going to happen because I do not see this happening this year or even next year. The price is now on it's way to $500 but it is going slowly.

The price is around $450 now. It is just $50 away from the $500 mark. If it reaches it in June, that is good.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think uᴉoɔʇᴉq will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: April 01, 2016, 11:39:44 AM
It will definitely reach $1000 mark again. But it will take some time. After halving and block size increase, it might reach $1000.
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach a billion market cap this year? on: March 07, 2016, 08:59:12 PM
A few players are at the games with ETH on at the moment. ETH will pass the Billion mark in a matter of weeks,  zero doubt about this. The only fudsters are ripple bag holders.

Maybe after the Homestead is formally released in a few weeks, the price will pass the 1 billion mark. That is great milestone.
I believe it's released next week on Pi Day. Good time to get in and join the party.

IMO, ETH will surpass 1 billion mark a few days before the PI day. As Homestead is release, there will be huge selling to dump the coin into oblivion.
It is a good time to buy ETH during this correction.

It depends on the extent of the correction. If the price drops to 0.01 or lower, I will buy quite a lot of Ethereum.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach a billion market cap this year? on: February 24, 2016, 01:14:09 PM
In order for Ethereum to reach $1 billion market cap, its price should be around $13. It is easily achievable.

How anyone could allow a payout from a wallet without checking that there is a corresponding valid client order for a withdrawal in their database, is beyond me.

I think their exchange was managed by schoolkids.
How can they run a operation worth 13k BTC and have this kind of security?

I doubt they even had security. How in the hell can they lose all their coins?
It's make no sense such a company as cryptsy can lose so much coins.

So it could be an inside job. The BigVern or somebody else stole the money. Somebody inside create the (lucky) coin and persuade the BigVern to install the wallet and steal the bitcoins.

btw, I guess in the US, delayed filing of insolvency is considered a crime, too?

In UK, running a company in insolvency status is a crime.

Christ, it sounds like they did everything they could to keep the truth from their customers, and now all is fucked.

What we need are exchanges that are actually run by businessmen and not computer geeks and such.  Geeks have an important part in this, but these exchanges need people who know how to run an exchange, know what I mean?  It sounds like no one put on their problem-solving hats when they found out about the trojan.

Cryptsy did put on their problem-solving hats...hiding the truth for maximum profits was the solution, it seems.    Roll Eyes

The delay in withdraws in the last few months could be to win time to get their hands on the customer coins.

If the blockchain is used in the bookkeeping and accounting or database, it will be a major part of any business.
