I came up with an explanation for why I was seeing the weird results I was seeing yesterday: the site doesn't use blockchain.info at all to get its feed of new transactions on the network. Instead their run their own node, and watch have that report the most recently seen transaction when they need it. They were only telling us "you can verify by watching blockchain.info" because that is *a* way of watching the transactions, not *the* way that the site uses. They were assuming that everyone seems the same transactions in the same order with the same timing, which obviously isn't the case. And so their system is further from provably fair than I previously thought to be the case. The site can simply pretend not to have seen a transaction which gives a result they don't like, and we can't prove otherwise. He can't even do maths correctly. I won't be surprised if he answer to you 'stop trolling' instead of a good relevant answer.
I mean, when there's 3 players in, their luck are 33.33% (which gives a total of 99.99% and cannot be 100%..) But, it's shown as 100% and they give a BONUS amount of tickets to the third player... (cheat & unfair?)
Well, to be fair there is no way of dividing an power of 10 by 3 equally. Their client-side code which calculates the ranges has a special case saying that if any range ends with 9999 then set it to be 10000: self.Participants.forEach(function (par) { par.playerNumber = playerNumber + 1; playerNumber += Math.round(par.percentage * 100); playerNumber = playerNumber >= 9999 ?10000: playerNumber; par.playerNumber += ' - ' + playerNumber; });
You can always be the last player by being the last user to buy the smallest number of tickets. Has anyone brought up the fact that it's obviously bots playing on his site 24/7, although they seem to be denying it?
I wasn't mentioning it because although it does seem likely there's no way of proving it. Either way it seems that OP has abandoned this thread, and possibly the site too. The promised giveaway in the site's chatbox seems not to have happened, and the guy complaining in this thread about a withdrawal not happening went unanswered. Least successful scam ever?Edit: sorry, that was rude. I'm frustrated that I spent so much time on this thread trying to help and it was all for naught. Lets start with this. I'm frustrated that I spent so much time on this thread trying to help and it was all for naught. You are so full of shit, you have only spent time telling us why its not fair. You run a dice site, you did not come up with anything!!! you got your provably fair with copy and paste, just like the dice site idea is copy and paste. Your a joke. How many hours have you spent on this thread and looking at our code? 10? 20? more? The fact is you are only here to bash us, if you are soooooo great at all this how about you spent 10-20 hours researching a way to make the site provably fair? The fact is you wont. Because your a competitor. Because you are not skilled enough to come up with anything besides copy and paste. Oh and your claim to us not being provably fair has not been proven. (But im sure you have an excuse to why you cant prove it) Serious question. How old are you?

Anyone know who's software this actually is?
I just realized it's the same as nitrogen - assuming it's identical in most ways, it's the most bearable browser based poker software I've used - what is it called?

Here's a little bug I found: I have 4-color-deck enabled to make it easier to tell the suits apart, but the dealer chat still only uses 2 colors: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FMgpVS5y.jpg&t=663&c=oL7tYBTVNuEDBA) The cards are small there, so 4-color is more important there imho. I believe this is pretty normal, its just the hand history - not something most watch very closely. Many sites don't even have cards, just text. (Ac Kh Qs)

Our system auto-blocks accounts with the same IP accessing the poker suite, since there's no way to ever verify that you were playing honestly.
It's true, there's no way to prove someone is playing honestly. You can only prove that someone is being dishonest. Allowing players to use the same ip gives them a chance to be transparent. Are roomates not allowed to play on your site at the same time? Poker is fun to play with friends, most poker players prefer to beat their friends - not cheat with them. If two friends were playing from the same location, would you rather one of them changed their ip, so you didn't know or they both played from the same? In the online poker world, the norm is to not allow multiple players from the same ip to sit at the same cash game. but usually tournaments are ok. (I believe stars only allows same ips to reg in mtts with 45 players or more, partypoker allows any non-sit n go - just examples) If there is anything which triggers an investigation - it would obviously not look good if they had the same ip. Online poker players tend to be friends with each other, live together, hang out together etc...not to mention during major live events at casinos, everyone uses the same wifi to play the same tournaments. Only allowing one player per ip would kill any sites tournament schedule. Most of them aren't cheaters and I would imagine those who do cheat would use different ips whether they were forced to or not.

I'm pretty sure there will be more freerolls! Take care!
When they accidentally took 14 Bitcoin for the BBJP when it didn't actually exist, they used it for a freeroll instead of returning it to the players. (You can read about that here.)Theyve admitted to using the money they confiscated from cheaters for a freeroll promotion instead of returning it to the victims. (you can read about that here)Perhaps they will use the money that should be paid back directly to the players from taking too much rake for over a month. Its probably well over 10 BTC. Maybe youll get a 20 BTC freeroll or more! Based on my understanding the BBJ is currently active and will be paid out if hit. I will get back to you about the other links mentioned. No rush, just wanted to make sure you haven't forgotten. (or maybe I missed you getting back?)

I will answer for the OP ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Please do no get back into trolling the thread i thought we were past that. No please, allow me to answer for OP. Dooglus is obviously jealous and worried about competition for his site.

Mr. Raffle,
I wonder if you are mature enough to answer these three questions....
Is btc-raffle provably fair right now?
In my mind yes, there is a theory someone could cheat it but it has not been proven to be true only speclaactions
lol Mr. Raffle, why do you feel it necessary to preface your answer with "in my mind" Dont you see, if you can't disprove the theory that someone could cheat - you can't prove that your system is fair. Has anyone brought up the fact that it's obviously bots playing on his site 24/7, although they seem to be denying it?

(PS- ON OFF is scum, his multi is xxxFLIPxxx, he claims the reason he hasn't paid off loan since last summer is because I called him out on it, and the price of BTC has gone up)
From reading the chat box and forums on their site, it does seem like a large portion of the Betcoin "community" is made up of people begging for $5 mtt stakes and stealing from people who loan them money. The most active posts in the last few months are people discussing someone who apparently continuously steals from members of the community (Betcoin still allows him on the site) and people who have generated no rake on the site aggressively lobbying for a tournament ticket with $14 worth of equity. I know that this is really annoying , but believe me betcoin can't do anything to stop that remember those beggers aren't forcing anyone to send them money , they are simply asking for stakes and sadly there are some people who stake players without knowledge about the player's history Yeah it is really annoying. Not that they can't do anything to stop it. But that you look for anything possible to find a resonable excuse to defend them, and simply ignore everything else.

and banned again... The username twitchyseal has not been activated or is blocked.
You should probably explain what you mean by "banned". I took it to mean that they blocked you from doing anything, but it looks like you are playing a tournament right now. Really? I'm not. Please elaborate. By banned I mean I can't log into my account through a browser. I can't confirm if I have access through betcoin software since I'm playing on another site and can't open both at the same time. This happened within minutes of me replying to dooglus' 3 week old comment about them not returning the rake they overcharged. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2F87e6ca00947d923255b84f4ef6865182.png&t=663&c=wZQnapGnuZK4lw) Perhaps Betcoin could explain? I apologize, I saw "ON OFF" and my mind read it as "OHYEAH". Totally my mistake. I am curious if you were banned from playing on the site or just posting, but I guess if you can't access the website you couldn't withdraw. If you could update us whenever you can that would be great, it's a great testament to why some people who criticize Betcoin choose to stay anonymous. My ip isn't banned like before, so I imagine I could log in through the software and play with whatever was in my poker balance - but not transfer it to my main balance (or withdraw). (PS- ON OFF is scum, his multi is xxxFLIPxxx, he claims the reason he hasn't paid off loan since last summer is because I called him out on it, and the price of BTC has gone up)

Guess I'll post this here too, since it's been a while since Betcoin has chosen to ignore it: The Bad Beat Jackpot has reached over 20,000mbtc! Get in for your chance to win a share!
Most of the jackpot (~14,000 mbtc) doesn't belong to Betcoin. It was taken from players who were told they weren't being charged for the bbjp. This was before August 3rd, when there was no jackpot. Betcoin has admitted they took the money and seem to think its ok to not return it the players they took it from. Another issue is their terms of the current jackpot do not make sense. For example, they left out how the jackpot would be distributed (traditionally loser of hand gets x%, winner y%, z% is used to seed the next jackpot and table or room share the rest ), the fees make no sense - it just says 1, 5 or 10...1, 5 or 10 what though? I've brought this up to them, along with plenty of other issues. Fair warning though, they've banned (and unbanned) me 7 times, without explanation (other than one time for spamming - in reality making posts exactly like this on their forum). ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2F671e00d76d09121c482f02fcd9cfa1a1.png&t=663&c=D-UqfVMXcbukvg) Wow, deleted my posts within 2 minutes...what rule did I break this time Betcoin? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2F15b2297f354d6683852e604f968050cf.png&t=663&c=0VKyvyF_6KcCVg) Just wait. they will reply you. dont worry. yo win BBJ ?? how many percents is your ? 20 - 50 or 100 ?? You're in the wrong thread. This is betcoin.ag Fast cashout but scummy CS tactics.

They banned me and ignored the chat.

Funny, who's being honest?
Not Betcoin. Agree? I think this cjmoles guy should be ingnored. He is getting paid per post by betcoin on the signature campaign so just ignore him and he will have a lower post count and less money. He makes no sense anyway so its useless to discuss anything with him. All he posts is Betcoin is a wpn skin and Betcoin is the best site ever. Okay, maybe I'm wrong about Betcoin.ag. Is there a better poker site on this forum that you could suggest? I just want to play at the best possible site. I'm open for suggestions. cjmoles, these guys login to Betcoin.ag daily and play very frequently. They spend more time posting and logged into Betcoin than you do or even I do and I am paid to do it. We appreciate their passion and hope they continue to be passionate about Betcoin and they are welcome anytime to play. We were discussing it in the office and it's similar to the person who watches a show everyday only to say how bad the show is! All the person does is drive up the show's ratings and create interest which is good for business. This thread for example will break the 4,000 post mark very soon and is almost always on the front page, we never would have though this possible just one month ago. It's driven up interest in our signature campaign which is almost full of 50 members and drives new visitors to the website everyday. If you can create something in life that people are this passionate about where they claim to be displeased but still are compelled to participate everyday, then you have something special and you all are a part of something special. It has been a tremendous amount of fun to work for Betcoin and what the team is working on it will only get better and bring out more passion in our great players. Good luck! cjmoles, how much of this do you believe? Does anyone really believe that accusing a site of behaving unethically and providing proof could actually help them simply because it bumps the thread?

Dooglus,
Please show Mr. Raffle how someone with a reputation like yours that owns a bitcoin gambling site and is confident that it's proveably fair answers these questions.
Is justdice provably fair right now?
Was it 3 days ago?
Was it 1 week ago?

Bookmaker and BetDSI also seem good. I'm not faulting anyone for playing on betcoin, the options are certainly limited for many. But there's no excuse for running around praising the pros and ignoring the cons. Because of their ethics, any success for Betcoin is a long term failure for Bitcoin Poker.
Lying to players and keeping money they aren't entitled to is unacceptable and inexcusable.
