This seems to be an interesting project but i have some questions before hopping into this. How many days will be the ico going? And i found this thread saying that sonm can't be trusted https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1895293.0
Was this already answered by the sonm team?

6525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2017, 07:11:55 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

Try convincing them by telling them all about bitcoin which in fact its advantages are much greater than its disadvantages and the fault commonly is due to the users. But if they still not convinced about it then I guess it is time for you to let them be since we have our different view with a lot of things.
6526  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christianity is Poison on: April 24, 2017, 07:08:57 AM
I'm only here to start the conversation because I'm tired of seeing "Atheism is Poison" thread being bumped daily... can't you assholes give the anti-Atheist bigotry a break for a single fucking day?!?

If you really need someone to elaborate on all the ways that religion poisons people's mind, body, soul and the planet... I can do that...

Please, someone tell me how believing in a magic sky God is better than not believing in a magic sky God...  How does believing in fairy tales help a person in any way whatsoever?

How come that Christianity is poison that in fact it instills good virtues and manners to its followers? It is not Christianity that is poisonous but to some officials (religious) who take advantages in their positions. There are some who use their positions in making themselves rich that is proven by the history but it should not tarnish the fact that there are also religious officials who stay loyal with their sworn responsibility and dedicated their lives in their service.

6528  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is life so hard/complicated? on: April 24, 2017, 06:48:23 AM
Since most of us are pretty simple, why do we live under such a complex system?

Is it an inherent property of the system or just a way for the elites to herd the common folk away from their own self-interests?

What role do you think scarcity and greed play in all this?

It is by the help of this complex system your talking about made our lives easier than it was before. Life as it was from the very start is characterized with complexity but since humans were ignorant at that time then we view it simply as to what we know but now information has come to light and for us not to be ignorant and fooled we need to know the essentials to live with strength to stand and follow the righteous path.

Hi there,

I want to launch my own online shop which will accept bitcoin as payment but I can't decide what to sell   Smiley

Please post here what would you buy for bitcoins? Watches, video games, food ?

Thanks!

Since we you will establish your shop in online world then it is of interest the games.  But it is good having varieties that is by offering different kinds by doing it experimental. If you can manage it, you can do it all of what you’re thinking in one website and putting it in categories except food by the way because I’m not so sure about it.
6530  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do conservative worldwide oppose "drugs" legalization? on: April 24, 2017, 05:16:40 AM
Most conservatives or right-wings worldwide oppose psychoatives legalization, why such unanimity on this topic? I find it strange that there is such a consensus. Do you know why?

Personnally I don't know. They pretend to be for individual liberty/responsability while honoring for most westerners the so called freedom, but in fact are more like zealous little control freaks closer to ISIS in their way of thinking...

Only Libertarians get the concept of ownership of the body by the individual... it goes to whatever-sex to abortion to "drugs".

The major factor that oppose the legalization of drugs is that the impact on the health of its citizens which as we know is an asset to the government itself that the declining health and possibility for the growth of addiction regarding this will increase and results to the declining performance in their work which will put the economy in a disastrous situation.

As you see, there a lot of micro and macro perspectives regarding the effects that’s why it should be carefully studied so it will not cause a great disaster with their decision. I’m not really an expert regarding the effects of these drugs but I trust that they know best and it is up to them whether to legalize it (with moderation and only be used in medications) or not.
6531  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: April 24, 2017, 05:04:16 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

BTC will still stay popular because it has a lot of edges it can offer but it is in no doubt that if this will happen the BTC will lose one of its edges but also having a stable price means less risks in your money and let it rest without worrying too much though I still prefer BTC's fluctuating price because I make a lot of profit with it.
6532  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: April 24, 2017, 04:57:16 AM
why are all terror activities carried out in the world are by people of muslim religion? Why cant muslims let peace be there in the world? Are people of only muslim origins terrorist?so trumps decision by banning muslim is 100% correct?

Nope but mostly are Muslims. It is I think take roots in the history which results in what it is as of today. We can see it that Islam has no religious leader and that is what these greedy (some) Muslim terrorist been trying to achieve which is in fact not for the sake of their religion but for their selves which is very wrong.
6533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what hinders bitcoin to become a mainstream currency? on: April 24, 2017, 04:55:45 AM
Security? Crime? Inflation?
Bitcoin is money and thus serves the same functions that any money does: a medium of exchange, a unit of account, and a store of value. But can it prominently satisfy all these functions?
I think it's because, sometimes, people like to see and feel things. Bitcoin exist only online, so people still have some doubts about it. All the fiat currencies in the world can be seen and felt, but it's not so with bitcoin and other crptocurrencies, and people are used to such system of money.

I'm not so sure that when they would "see and feel" their bitcoin, that is, sleazy Chinese stealing electricity to feed their mining hallways, they would feel better about it  Grin

It is due to the fact that Bitcoin is mysterious that is people without enough knowledge what really it is. They see it as dangerous, full of risks, which results from the infamous scenes in connection with the cyberworld that is online scammers particularly.
6534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: April 22, 2017, 12:48:21 PM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

I first gamble when I was in High school my friends and I bet on a basketball team back then,
I was under 18 back then and I guess most of the kids really gamble before they hit 18.

6536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: April 22, 2017, 12:34:32 PM
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino. Grin
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

How about you? are you sepertitious?  Smiley

I once believe in those kind of things since I grow up with my grandma,
But now that I think about it,it doesn't really work sometimes I gamble with something that their supertitious belief that is bad for me then I won a few times so I really just believe in luck not in those supertitious rituals or something.
6537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 22, 2017, 12:01:14 PM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?

Yeah I think it is worth it after all even if it is just some small amount of investment you would still gain some profit,
And for me that's what counts in investment and that's the reason why you invested.
6538  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: April 22, 2017, 11:52:15 AM
In the U.S. state of Arkansas for eleven days from 17 to 27 April - going execution of seven men sentenced to death. The reason for such haste is that at the end of the month expiration midazolam - medicines used for injections in the execution of the death penalty. Over the last ten years in Arkansas were not executed prisoners. The seven men were handed down death sentences in the period between 1990 and 2000, the years for murder, robbery and rape. Midazolam is one of the drugs used in the process of execution of a death sentence to the convicts fainted. In the US the use of this drug is considered controversial after 2014, one of the sentenced to death more than 40 minutes remained conscious after the injection of midazolam and died a painful death. European manufacturers of midazolam refuse to deliver to US an additional batch of the drug. Existing stocks will end shortly, so in Arkansas and hurry to execute the death penalty.

I support it but only for those who committed some heavy crimes,
Like Murders and rape the ones that takes life I think they should also pay with a life.
6539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 19, 2017, 10:25:51 AM
I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

It's possible for them to accept it if they can find a way to monitor Bitcoin well in order to put taxes on it ofcourse which will symbolize that their jurisdiction of the government throughout its citizens is still in their authority. It can happen but for now it may not or it is very rare that the government have accepted Bitcoin
6540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 19, 2017, 08:02:19 AM
What will happened if every country started to use bitcoin. Is the current supply of bitcoin and blockchain capacity can handle every bitcoin user?

Thanks in advance.

If so, I think Bitcoin will trigger a new age that is the Era of Higher Digital Awareness. Also the transactions are done now in a techy way than the traditional one that is by doing transactions with the actual money pr fiats
