6581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitminer.io real or scam? on: October 02, 2017, 04:49:53 PM
i upgraded to tier 1 and tried to pay out. i have not got 1 payout yet and am waiting over 2 months!

I wrote them a couple of times and with a very short reply they told me to wait.

To me this is a scam as clearr as day!
You should check before invest. There are a lot of review about Bitminer.io on the internet and you can easily find it on Google so why don't you do that before invest in this scam site? You really believe that someone willing to pay you because of nothing? You thing you no need to do anything and you still get money Smiley)). You should be careful next time dude Smiley
I dont know why people are lazy enough not to search into things since typing google.com in the url bar isnt really hard at all.We can anytime  search informations on a certain investment and we can see feedbacks and user experience on it which we can really able to see if its a good investment or not.Be wary always on those paid comments or fakes because if you are careless enough you would easily fooled by them and also all the things that do offer easy money is most likely scams this is why when you saw a site offering too good to be true offers then better not to pay attention so that you wont able to lose up money.
6582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Spot A Bitcoin Scam on: October 02, 2017, 04:12:47 PM
Any ideas on how to spot a bitcoin scam?
In my opinion, usually bitcoin scams/scammers offer large amount of returns or rewards so that the investors can get tempted and not  hesitate in making the payment.

All investors invest to make profit. I would advice you to actually do your own reading and research to avoid being scammed your hardly earned bitcoins. Always be aware of phishing site, recently this type of scam has been trending, whereby people/ investors transfers money to organizations without even double checking whether the domain is correct or not. Be aware, be alert.
All offers online which are too good to be true are most likely scams and the ones who victimized on this one are those people who are greedy and do like easy money. They do easily lure out into the hands of scammers since those people do saw that this is the common weakness of people when it comes to easy money. This is why there are lots of people being scammed because of their hopes of getting quick rich without exerting too much effort which is not possible on this bitcoin world. We should really need to work hard and put time on it.Research and self awareness would really avoid you on this kind of things.
6583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky ! does it influences by a woman beside of us? on: October 01, 2017, 03:22:21 PM
I think its not true because it depends to the skills and strategy of a gambler. It become lucky because it feels exciting and happy when you have woman besides you this is one of the reason. Sometimes you cant concentrate when you have woman beside you.
It depends to people personalities if they prefer having someone besides them, though I'm not a gambler who wants noise or too much attention that's why I always prefer just playing through computer or mobile not into casinos for its hard to concentrate.
People are more focusing on online casinos rather land based casinos. The reason is laziness to go out, easy availability of games on mobile phones sitting on sofa and few others. Besides this, I don’t think luck of someone sitting beside you matters in your game in anyway.

For me, it is hard to believe that a woman can bring luck to the players. Luck does not come from someone you have beside you while playing. The woman can serve as an inspiration for the player to play actively because he wants the girl to be amazed on how good he is in gambling ( if this is the case ) or for personal reasons. Another reason is the woman can cheer him up if his game is not good and he is losing already.

I am also a gambler but I can definitely say that I don't need a woman or any lucky charm for me to have while playing gambling because I know for myself and I believe that I can win the game my own way, strategy and luck.
If a woman could bring luck to the gamblers, then there would have been more women in casinos than gamblers. Nothing can bring us luck. Gambling is just a game so it must be taken as an entertainment, it is very fine with me to lose in any game but people try to earn money by placing bets and in doing so, they try new methods to become lucky like having a girl by your side. Seriously, this is too much.
You cant blame them since they do have those kind of beliefs on which they do really believe that those gals would really increase their winning chances while they are playing gambling but totally those are just coincidence when they do play and won with the girls beside them. After that they would really do such thing again on the next game on other day and we cant remove on that one. They would realize later on that those beliefs are useless if they would suffer much on losing streaks.I dont really believe such thing because nothing on this world would able to influence winning chances.
6584  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Where can I buy 50 Bitcoins below market value? on: October 01, 2017, 10:58:46 AM
you have to find someone who is willing to sell his coins to you below the market value. probably someone who is desperate for the money and without any way of selling his coins otherwise.

in other words you have to look off-the-market.
for example if you have a localbitcoins account you can place some orders there. you can also place your offer on this forum in currency exchange board.

but don't get your hopes up. it is rare occasion.

ps. if you found some website promising to sell bitcoin at lower price, RUN AWAY it is  scam with the chance of 99.99%.
This is true on which the best possible place to look out for cheaper coins would be on localbitcoin but it is really a rare case depending on the seller if hes really urgently need of money which he decides up to sell his bitcoin on lower price for faster transactions. The price differences wont really be that big that you do expect for and as being said if the offer are too low or too good to be true then it is really a scam because no one would able to sell out very low compared into its current price in the market.Who dumb person would able to do such thing selling out his coins too low which he can actually sell it on its recent price.
6585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin Hard Fork due in November. BTC price up or down? on: October 01, 2017, 10:13:49 AM
What are your opinions about the price movement before and after the fork?

Below is the article about it if you still haven't read the news:

https://www.coindesk.com/first-cash-now-gold-another-bitcoin-hard-fork-way/

The price of bitcoin should being increase after the second of bitcoin's hard fork on November because it is part of fixing the scaling problem in bitcoin of course if the second of bitcoin's hard fork be successfull and be supported by all of the miners and comunity, but if the bitcoin's hard fork is fail the bitcoin's price will goes down and the comunity will be split like bitcoin cash right now.

But I think people is enough for the happenings of bcc since that token splitted up already the investors of both token and I don't know if bitcoin gold will be supported again or it will get more price since there are so many bitcoin clone already and that bitcoin gold will be dumped by the receiver on this upcoming hardfork. But maybe who knows maybe the bcc supporters will be split on this and not the real bitcoin supporters.

The posibility of supporters for the new blockchain of bitcoin always be available, because it is digital world, it is decentralize. Every single persons in digital coins ( the miners, investors, developers) can makes choice base on their analysis about the coins without any coercion from any party, of course with the risk must be taken. We just can wait what's will be done by the comunity of bitcoin about this bitcoin hard fork.
Interest would really be there since people do have different mind sets and interest on any possible new coins that would pop out.If we do try to look on the situation of Bitcoin Cash as of now we can see there is still support even though some people do say that it is a complete trash or without any potential. People would really jump into new things as long they can able to make money and now on this upcoming fork again on bitcoin its expected it would really repeat on those times on what happen on august 1 event which price would really dip down again.
6586  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bank on: October 01, 2017, 09:41:34 AM
Did anyone think at this? How would a bank work? How could you loan bitcoins and get interest for them in an economy with just 21 milion BTC limit?

Bitcoin Bank, i think couldn't happen cause bitcoin base on blockchain & cryptocurremcy. Means no serial number like real currency, no limit transfer per-transaction, every address doesn't represent the person cause no one know who the owner hash address. If loan who can trace where from the transfered. Many issues can't make Bitcoin centralized on Bank. Even i still hoping someday bitcoin will become first cryptocurrency use on everyday needs.
Banks are for what? Considering that we do have lots of wallet which can be used to store up our bitcoin without the need of using those services. Its just a senseless thing to have a bitcoin bank. For what purpose? On securing giving you out some fix interest rate? Hell No. It would just still acts as traditional banks and they are making hell out of money from your bitcoins specially into its price inflations. Banks will only adopt blockchain technology for their future upgrades but i dont see a reason for bitcoins Banks to exist on the future.
6587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is IT MY ETHERWALLET.COM safe? on: September 30, 2017, 06:00:37 PM
I was always wondering  what  could  happen if  myetherwallet.com  website get hacked... so it's   better  to have the coins on  a   desktop wallet,  instead of  a  web wallet?
It's   a  question because  I a  little bit  afraid  of  web based  wallets

Theres nothing to worry on using Myetherwallet since it is really safe as long you didnt expose off your private keys.I cant think off on the site would be hacked but still they cant able to steal up your wallet since you do have your key.Dont bother or worried too much on this stuff because most people say on here that it is completely safe just be responsible on how you do keep those important informations safe from anyone. As being said be careful also on the phishing sites which are similar into MEW if you arent to careful then you would end up on putting up your keys on a wrong website which would cause for you to be hacked.
6588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 30, 2017, 05:26:04 PM
it's hard to manage trading if it's a short term plus a campaign for ico. it would be easier if long term trading is a lot of applications on android that are easier to monitor the favorite altcoin you just download blockfolio you will see your profit or losses just as you have internet connection. in the campaign you just choose the beautiful ico so all the campaigns you take especially in social media when I'm too poor because I just choose my ico bounties.
Thats your own way which isnt really bad after all since you do have manage your time well as long you can able to engage on both things. It is really somehow hard since i do experience such thing a campaign together with long term trading would really a good tied up but there are some which do only choose one thing and go full time on those things which they would see that they can able to make more money. For now im focusing on short trading it is really time consuming but would really be worth it if you are really good at it.You wont end the day without having any profits.
6589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 30, 2017, 02:24:30 PM
I am a pro beliver in bitcoin and Monero and I don't short my hands on any of these and whenever I have enough money left after the month ends then I tend to buy both of these. I really believe that cryptocurrencies are the future of the world and we are the ones who are early adapters and will be benefited the most from these currencies, so this is the principle on which I am buying and always holding cryptocurrencies and never shorting my hands as I know for sure that whoever are shorting are gonna regret in the future for shorting too early.
If you do have the funds to sustain on this kind of save up then it would really be an advantage for you as long we did just invest on the amount that we can really afford to lose up and not going on all in knowing that theres no assurance on any crypto investments.Anything do have its own risk and anytime it would crash down but seeing on the support of bitcoin itself we can really presumed that it would still last longer as we anticipated. For now i do invest some amounts but not totally big since i do have lots of priorities in life but i do find ways on earning it rather than on buying it which is really worth for my hard work and time.
6590  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: September 29, 2017, 10:58:19 PM
Imagine the situation in which we don't have any physical money and every currency is digitalized. The US dollar is now a token, the Japanese Yen is only in the network and the British pound is a fast-moving digital coin. What are the consequences of such an economy for the poorest of the population? Do you think that a few people can influence the digital wealth of people and wouldn't hackers be the best people to have as friends?
You are right that when that time comes, hackers would be the best people to have as friends. That being said, it would be bad for poor people to have a world that doesn't have physical money and all currencies being digitalized because they will need to have some kind of electronic device in order to transact, but they struggle even just to get some money to buy food to get by everyday so it will be hard for them to obtain atleast a phone or a tablet.
This is actually the reality this is why i cant think off that we would easily switch into this new way financial system on which we would really have digitalized currencies knowing off that there are people who dont have the access on the internet since they dont have any phone or pc to use on making transactions because they are busy on working just to earn small amounts for their daily living.Speaking with hackers, this would really be a real thing because it would really put you into an advantage since all things now are on electronics or digitalize.
6591  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 29, 2017, 10:29:19 PM
No worries can you point us in right direction of good cloud mining site?
No one would surely point you out knowing that there is no good cloud mining site if theres one then it wont really be profitable at all.Knowing that cloud mining sites are just scams they are some which is genesis and hashflare but its really a risky thing to put investments on those sites. We wont know on when they would stop operating which the risk of losing money is bigger. If i were you dont bother to go on this cloud mining site since there are lots of another investment which would able to give you money if you do really work hard not minding on easy profits without doing nothing.
6592  Economy / Economics / Re: tax on: September 29, 2017, 10:09:42 PM
for now it has not been taxed, because in some bitcoin countries it is not a valid payment instrument, and people's understanding of bitcoin has not been widespread.
perhaps in the future the government will make a tax regulation from bitcoin, if it is legalized by government law.

Exactly, I think the awareness is still low in some countries and continent for it to lead to taxing. Maybe in the future, that might come up thats if there is approval because you don't tax when you have not approved the usage nationwide.
Yes this means bitcoin in some country has lack its awareness that bitcoin has a tax. Here in my country bitcoin is spreading its usage but no tax has been collecting. Well lets hope that there is no collecting tax in some countries and there will be proper regulation on this.
Same here in my country on which bitcoin doesnt really have big awareness on its existence here on my country which it cant still be taxed but only to the service which do engage on bitcoin which isnt really bad at all because bitcoin cant really be tax directly this is why most government will surely get tax on those services who do use bitcoin. This is why most governments doesnt really like bitcoin because they can get money out of it and they wont even know if their citizens are already engage on it.
6593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50,000 to invest into mining, or coins... on: September 29, 2017, 09:48:30 PM
If you had $50,000 to invest into mining, or coins...

Would you GPU Mine, or buy Asics?
What percentage would you put into altcoins?

I'm curious to see how others would spread their money.

For me, I would probably start with half GPU mining, half Asics.  I'm new though so I'm not sure what is best if I had that type of money.
If i do have that money then if i do see that electricity is very cheap in my country then $10000-$15000 would really be allocated on that one and $20000 would be invested into bitcoin and hold it for long term then the rest $15000 would be allocated on altcoins which you can able to diversify out those funds into 3 different investment which would actually lessen the risk of total failure once one of those would able to dump down. You do still have the chance to recover unlike on going all in on a single investment once it dumps for sure recovery would really be hard for you. This is why this kind of diversification is good.
6594  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign and Reward on: September 28, 2017, 07:20:48 PM
Is there a user who has made a total of 1bitcoin in signature campaigns alone , not investments but payment from posting and being paid.

I think many bitcointalk user already got 1 bitcoin total salary in doing signature camp. Especially to those who are with high rank now. If you calculate for example I saw some pay for a Legend 0.0275 per week x 4 weeks = 0.11 for 1 month so it will take only 10 months to gain more than 1bitcoin salary for just joining signature camp.

But I have heard that getting placed in signature campaign is very tough. So thereby if a campaign ends then we will have to wait for the next campaign to open up and get a slot there. So is that a tough thing ?
It would really be a tough thing for you if your post quality is horrible since manager wont really choose you up always to be part of the campaign knowing that most manager now are really strict when it comes to post quality which means if you are a shitty poster then expect you would really have a hard time on entering campaign but if youre a good one then even the campaign end and join another one you would not worry since you would be easily be recognize as a good quality poster.Back to topic im sure there are lots of signature participants did already reach 1BTC earnings on just joining.
6595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is mining and TRADING THE SAME on: September 28, 2017, 05:46:17 PM
Do I need a lot of GPU for trading like mining? And mining and trading is different right. So How will I learn buying a PC? because I only got my laptop here no desktop. Which is the easiest way to earn? Mine or trade?

You are comparing a cherry with a tomato!
Mining has nothing to do with trading, mining with GPU in today's world is impossible and you will need some expensive stuff like ASIC miners or others to mine Bitcoins or different altcoins. Trading coins is a completely different subject and needs charting knowledge as well as basic idea about how to read them through the support and resistance levels and decide when to enter and where to exit. Trading is better compared to mining but is the riskiest way. I saw D3 allowing users to get their ROI in just a month after mining DASH coin so if you managed to get a D3 while roaming around, you must be in profit already atm.

Nice one buddy. Mining is different and trading is entirely different. If you want to sell or buy a bunch of bitcoin means, you can use the trading. But in mining, the bitcoin or any other altcoin will be generated with that mining. Bitcoin mining is the best of any other altcoin mining. You can choose that.
My words won't be much different than you people but I would also like to share my knowledge for the sake of OP.
Mining is the process of verifying transaction while it is also used for releasing new digital coins. For this, miners need powerful hardware’s and they earn by transactions fees.
Trading is about buying and selling any asset. Traders are not paid any kind of dues and they don't offer any services.

Straight and direct to the point on comparing both things which is actually right. Mining is really different on trading since theres no apparatus involve or any operations have been done when you are trading on which being said mining does really need asic for you to mine bitcoin and gpu for mining altcoins which at the same time they do earn too on processing transactions.Trading is just like simply trading up a certain coin for a profits, exchanging them into other coins which you would able to buy and sell and possibly earn income on it which is basically doesnt involve any operations or on the need of something in able to do it.
6596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: September 28, 2017, 04:48:13 PM
This is one step to make ico different. Because this regulation make ico create with difficult. But scamner is not easy. Ico Will create with different rule.
This would really be the the advantage on where ICO has been regulated already which would really be a new way on where investors and the project would really be monitored and scam would really be less likely to happen since its being regulated already.I would say this would really be on Good side but would really be very bad for some for sure specially on scamming intentions.
6597  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade BTC? on: September 28, 2017, 03:41:29 PM
If there's a natural disaster cutting off electricity for days, trading bitcoin should be least of your worries really. Priorities man.
You wont really bother or to problem this thing first when theres an electricity outage for sure you would find to secure first your family, loved ones on how to live without electricity rather than minding on how you would able to trade with bitcoins. This is just really a non sense question after all because not only bitcoin trading would be affected but all the things which been powered by electricity would be gone too.Imagine a life without energy for sure you would struggle on daily living knowing that we are already living on this convenient world because of gadgets or things which uses electricity. If its gone then were fucked up.
6598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Era or just bubble ? on: September 28, 2017, 02:49:20 PM
Will crypto-currency change the Worl or it's just a new way of  robbery?
We do have our own question do put in our minds which i can say that this assumption or question is part of your doubt on bitcoins existence and any other coins in the market.Actually this is a new era knowing that technology do developed as the years goes by and these cryptos made a new way payment system and some if making new innovations which do really have a real-world usage which is really great. We cant say that this would happen as a robbery or just a bubble if you do try to see the community support on this one we wont able to say such thing.
6599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 27, 2017, 05:38:32 PM
It is hard to limit myself in any way If I am going into casino with intents  to gamble and win the money. I will always have that feeling ''ok maybe if I put this money i will win''. And so If I lost every single coin that I have everything i can do is to say is not to gamble ever again but when I have money i always come back.
Of course it is difficult to limit something that we enjoy, but we must doing something too much is always bad for you, eating delicious food is great but eating too much causes obesity and all the problems that comes from it, so limit your gambling now or suffer the consequences later.
It is a common behavior among the humans that we are not able to give up on those habits easily which are adopted just for the sake of fun. Same is the case with gambling that people usually forget to put some limits while they bet their money and hence the end result is a failure or huge loss at his end. This is the end line of all the discussion that excess of anything is nothing more than a poison.
people usually too enjoy , too excited in the game , and of course have lured by the huge amount of money offered with a very easy and instant way to get their money doubled. setting up the limit won't be easy , never.

you will so struggling reach that goal when you have set certain limits.
Setting up limits wont really be an easy stuff because same as you said gamblers are lured out on huge money offering and thinking off that this is the easiest way on doubling or even tripling your money on a short period of time. This is why temptations on playing would really be there and forgetting those limits that you set is most likely to happen which do gamblers always fall out on losing up their money in the end of the day.
6600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: September 27, 2017, 04:44:31 PM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
yes indeed losses in trade can not be avoided but can be minimized so that the losses are not large. Grin
And these are the things on which traders would actually do on which we would do the things as far as we can in able to minimize loss in a certain trade set-up. Loses cant really be avoided and its always been part on this trading field.Overcoming on your fear of losing money is somehow hard specially when we are just only starting on doing trading which we would really hesitate on making such moves because we are scared that the outcome would be opposite on what we expect. This is why we should think that we should risk in able to earn something and if we do lose then analyze it and make learnings from it so that in next time we would really have the idea on what would be the best move to do.
