We now allow payments in other currency than bitcoin. You can specify any wallet address, of a coin we mine, as the username of the stratum parameter.
To back that, the fee structure has changed a little. Variable fees have been lowered and an additional 1% is added only if you choose BTC payments. Payments in other currencies save that 1%.
Great news, now im switch to LTC payouts we havent mined any LTC yet, but no problem, we'll buy some to honor all LTC payouts. another easy way to do that would also be to choose any currency we mine and provide your bittrex or cryptsy deposit address for that currency. the idea behind that new feature is to allow you to diversify your holdings and more especially remove a bit of pressure on altcoins price, if that's possible. also note that all combinations of algos are allowed. so you can mine neoscrypt and get paid in darkcoin for example. Please explain how to convert the coin value? For example : I am mining X11, and got xx Darkcoin, xx UroCoin, xx CannabisCoin, xx Mobcoin ect Now, IF i want my payout with others altcoin since all algos is allowed, so how to calculate : If I want Lemurcoin (x11) or If I want Litecoin (scrypt) or If I want FTC (neoscrypt) I see as very complicated here. But if you convert each mining coin to btc (use which exchg rate??) and convert again to payout coin (which exchange rate??), than i think the loss will be more than 1% that we should save from fee. How about make a escrow account for special rank in marketplace.
Its work like this :
1. Special rank that provide warranty of transaction. Example :
Rank A, can safely trade max 5btc
Rank B, can safely trade max 3btc
etc..
2. The warranty is every rank taker need to provide a "bond" equal to max trade of the rank and send to escrow [manage by BCT]
3. Cost of manage this escrow is charge every weeks with some percentage, ex. 0,5%
4. Type of "bond" is anything that can be value in market price directly but i prefer to btc only

This is a bad idea. It would open the forum up to potential litigation. Not all scams are cut and dry so it is not 100% clear if someone has actually been scammed or not. I think this would generally cause the forum to get involved in more disputes and would just end up causing massive headaches for the moderators and would force the forum to make a decision with potentially unclear facts. It would also go against the forum's policy of not moderating scams. There are always a scam in the internet, even in real world, you may find a lot of it. So the rule is not to make 100% scam proof but to eliminate potential for scam. Rule for being scam or not, or we have say its a scam transaction or not is absolute in the hand of escrow to decide, any both party MUST agree about the rule if they doing transaction in this forum and any decision that forum make is final and no debatable. I know this not forum's job, but hey.. its not free job, and if its economical, why not? |

Community is growing. Nice to see. But the community is just not active enough here or on reddit, twitter etc. Still think we will set 5k as a new floor in a few weeks.
Define "not active" please Do we have to chit chat so the page will increase rapidly? Do we have to post irrelevant things to make attention? Some coin did make page increase rapidly because of FUD and many troll so they keep arguing with community. I dont see much such activity in this one, i think its a good sign. |
