That's huge.
It means that besides premine, dev can earn additional 0.3 btc per day for nothing until end of POW.
That's outrageous! Glad I was never in. Good morning FUDers how are you  Not every block created right now returns the 5 coins to the foundation, because it is a mixture of PoW & PoS blocks, but you already know that don't you! On a more positive note:
MaiaCoin has achieved over 110 BTC in trading volume on Bittrex alone, and we havent even been listed on there 1 day!!

Update:Firstly, thank you for supporting MaiaCoin, already in the first 8 hours trading on Bittrex, MAIA has achieved over 80 BTC volume, and the network difficulty is at ~500.
Alongside the new website which will go live tomorrow, i am working on a new wallet that will include the following features built into the wallet:
- Integrated Block Explorer
- Advanced Statistics
- Exchange information
- A shiny new GUI (Graphics still needed) The new wallet will be ready for beta testing within the next few days. If anyone who is interested in helping out with the tests PM me.

Hi guy's could anyone show me what I'm doing wrong? I'm running a 6950 on windows 7. I made a bat file as below and get nothing but rejects
sgminer --pool-algorithm bitblockold -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:6002 -u xxx -p xxx --thread-concurrency 4032
I also tried this and a few other ways I either get 100% rejects or it just crash's instantly?
--gpu-platform 1timeout /t 10
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

SECURITY INFOHey guys, since this coins is getting more and more interest, also hackers seem to be interested... it has come to my attention that someone is trying to hack into Maia Accounts using brute force attacks. I've instantly activated an IP Ban against that user, after 3 failed logins his IP will get banned and I'm notified. I've also activated two factor Auth, so a E-Mail is sent when you're trying to change wallet address etc. Please make sure your settings are still right and no one hacked into your account ! https://maia.suprnova.ccPS: NEVER use same login details on multiple pools !! Does "Stake: 97.302221" in the MAIA wallet mean that I received 97 coins or that 97 coins are "staking" ?
you will see the staking reward show up in the transactions as mined coins |

Hey utahjohn Nothing to worry about at this stage. We've got a fairly even spread of hash rate between the pools, this code base has been proven reliable. Once we get past the PoW phase i will push out an update that has some hard coded checkpoints in. |
