Ok so if I buy for 1 BTC with BTER ESCROW, I also take the bonus right? and I get around 110k CRYPTI?
i think the bonus can only be calculated once the total fundraising is known.

Sounds like you are fine. Are you having network issues?
i hadnt thought so, but perhaps. Yea, restarting the server won't hurt.
will do. thanks!

it is still generating blocks. and as i look at it, it is actually catching up, just insanely slowly. now i'm about 75 blocks behind. so it gains a block every few mins. seems like that isnt synching right. perhaps i'll restart my machine and the console.
im at block 16539 as of this writing, about 75 blocks back.
edit: 16539 ID: 14799672264195579729
i also did a small test transaction to another FIM account i have. that transaction DID show up in the live blockchain, so i think thats a good sign?

Am I on a fork?
I'm stuck 80 blocks behind and dont seem to be catching up. I just stay 80 behind. Also my balance and forging are reading higher than the reporting at the Fimk blockchain site
Any thoughts on this behavior?
Thanks

please ELI5 - if Crypti raises a sh*t-ton of BTC, does that make it harder for IPO investors to get a return on their investment? Does it mean that a much higher market cap is required? (or do the Devs just make more money, and it does not effect ROI or market cap?)
thanks!

The bonus works for bter too?
As i know yes, but i need SyRenity to accept my answer too. Can you please confirm BTER early investment bonus ASAP.
|
|
|
why can't deposits to BTER come from coinbase? why would it matter how i fund my BTER account?
|
|
|
can someone ELI5 how the early purchase bonus works? is there some additional Crypti held back, that will then be awarded? or is there some complicated weighting that will take place retroactively after the sale closes?
i'd like to understand this better so i can evaluate if i want to invest early, or wait and see.
thanks

thanks - I downloaded the wallet, ran the bat file, waited for the console to show that the FIM server had started successfully and then as you suggested browsed to localhost:7886 to log in but got a Problem loading page message. I then browsed to https://wallet.fimk.fi:7886put in my passphrase as per the info on the FIMK stakeholder donation escrow page in my dgex.com account and instead of the FIM account number assigned to me got a new account with zero balance in it. Clearly I'm doing something wrong here but don't know what - any further help much appreciated . thanks did you remember to add a space (spacebar) after your passphrase? EDIT: the spacebar pertains only to the DGEX generated passphrases

Nice work. Would you consider transferring access rights to Krypto FIN ry. for us to effectively be able to use the particular account for promotion, announcements and related things please? Sure Yes, I think it could cause confusion if this Facebook page is not maintained by the Devs (because of the exact fb url /Fimkrypto)

Excellent! Just an idea for the future:
The biggest accounts will forge most blocks anyhow (a couple of them with possibly over 10 000 000 FIMK on them from IPO etc), and these big rewards will in average only accumulate in their stakes in the end.
So would it be a good idea for these special forging-rewards to have some kind of mathematical formula to reward smaller accounts with bigger reward. For example account with 10000 FIMK forging that special block would get the full 10000 price but an account with 100000 would get only 1000 or so. This was just as an example, and the precise formula needs a good tweaking but you get the idea. THAT would really make difference for small time crypto-hobbyists and small investors, who are by the way the majority of the community in the long run that you will want to please rather than a handful of whales who will forge tens of thousands FIMK anyhow even without special rewards.
And the remaining FIMK would be used in the next special rewards.
I am a large FIM holder (from IPO) and I even I think it would be nice to have incentives for smaller FIM holders to get involved.

This is just my opinion and people are welcome to disagree, but I think if you are worrying about DGEX and getting listed right away on new exchanges, then you probably just want to dump your FIMK or day-trade. That's short sighted.
If you care about this coin, then you won't worry about where we are after 1 week. Its where we are in 1 year that matters.
Why rush?
PS - if you hate DGEX, bite the bullet and move your FIMK out and stop complaining and FUDing.

the price is too high, not worthy of investing.
thanks for your deep technical analysis

0.2.2 installed and working well. the forging timer is nice.
(FIM blockchain explorer still out of sync with wallet - but really good otherwise)

I think patience will serve us well. We should be listed eventually but should not rush. This coin us just days old.

Yes we noticed.
You should not worry, it's just the blockexplorer scraper scripts that have a small error somewhere in the transaction/balance calculations. This is not related to the FIM blockchain in any way.
Your balance in the client is your correct balance. We'll be working on fixing the blockexplorer scripts today.
Great. Thanks much! Hi guys. Just to let you know, my wallet is now showing off by ~1200 FIM (6 POW). the Blockchain error is slowly increasing over time. just in case this info helps you troubleshoot. i really like the client - works great

With 30k you will forge a block every 4 days on avarage.
What is the formula you are using to calculate this?
