I did not get a single coin. The source of the blocks is not available. The wallet is not synchronized.  yes wallet dead  I Just tried to fire up mine and found out that I dont have the one installed on my PC. Its weird. Many cryptonote currencies seem to have the same effect. A hashrate increase of roughly 10x in the last few days.
I doubt suddenly everyone started mining them. Unless there have been developments like a new gpu miner that I don't know of. In which case, cpu mining (the main thing keepeng them attractive to miners) is gone
What other cryptonote cryptos are currently experiencing an unhealthy growth of difficulty and hashrate? Is boolberry among them? Well someone must be secretly trying a proprietarily made miner. Expecting little to no impact on clown coins with no liquidity... but monero... That one may see a dumpage as a result of 10x higher selling pressure from miners. |

I've been mining bcc off and on for a couple months. It's difficult to mine when you have huge farms just hogging every last coin. I do have a question though. The pool I mine at (I think) has the most hashing power. It's going a long time without finding a block. So I checked out the explorer. Can someone explain block 69033. Is that right? 30000 bcc? How is that possible? Stake? Or is that a payment? https://www.blockexperts.com/bcc/height/69033if the public pools blocks are visible, does that mean there are huge private pools mining this coin? Aint looking good for me, I will check whats up with my stats and get back to u. For now I can say that theres a possibility of fraud on pools side but we will know soon after I log in to the admin panel and check where these 30k originate from and who sent them to that addy. |

Can u elaborate. The part of ur statement pertaining to a new algo needs to be put into perspective. Do u think quatloo needs a new algo? What it needs is that its nodes be shut and thread locked. From now on, orphans aint a problem anymore to anyone harvesting goshen. What u need is an orphan block receiver, an all-purpose modular device developed by a young team from sweden, making it easy to "export" orphan blocks from the chain so that two blocks that were solved at the same time dont get lost. Once a block in question is exported to a Temporary orphan container its nonce is used to create a valid block which will appear in a general sequence. A valid block will be automatically solved by the block receiver and the reward will be sent the balance specified in bios settings of that apparatus. |

Also there is a Musicoin which started work quite recently and does not yet have sufficient funding for competing. Therefore, I think that Voise has good chances to become the flagship of this market.

Why is solarcoin not listed on poloniex?
Around 1 year ago there was a rumor that Solarcoin will be added to Poloniex and the Solarcoin Foundation added the Poloniex logo at their site. The price started to increase rapidly reaching ~ 0.25$ per coin ( 0.0004 BTC per coin). We were thinking that once Poloniex add us the price will go up arround 0.50$ to 1$ per coin... All was going well until Poloniex tweeted that they don't have plans to add Solarcoin and asked their logo to be removed from the Solarcoin.org site. It was a big misunderstanding caused by someone from the Solarcoin Foundation and since then Poloniex "bad" opinion of Solarcoin has not changed - the price went down very quickly and is still "recovering". So far we don't know what exactly was the cause of the misunderstanding and why that happened, but the one thing that we know is Poloniex don't want to add us... That is weird. Solarcoin is such a great coin, can't understand why trading volume is so low. Thank you for the detailed answer though. Trading volume is so low because noone knows about SLR yet. Its super undervalued. You can still be in the top 500 holders with a few 100$'s. But ssshhhhh. I still need to fill my bags  This is because no one owns slr. It will cost u thousands of bucks and huge headache to install solar batteries on the roof of ur house or wherever u want, and u need to provide a monthly energy consumption report to SLR if u wanna receive a lil portion of solars through bullshit solar proof-of-stake which is how slr is meant to be generated. Bounty is priced in. Unlike original zec where 20% of the block reward goes to zookos crew, zclassic returns the control over ur money back to u. With zclassic, each and every block mined is urs, no 20 percent cutoff is possible. This is why my buddy butcher yesterday spent 30K usd on mining equipment and put all of his hash into this. |
