661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: March 20, 2017, 03:23:59 PM
Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue

I choose both because you must split your investment to prevent from loosing everything at time. So you must have a back up plan if the other invesment fail.
I think they are almost the same because they are both risky and not easy. In trading you need experience also knowledge in doing it. While in gambling  you only need luck and self-control while your playing because you may lost a lot of money if you don't have a luck and self-control.
I will choose trading because I have already proven it's profitable, in gambling my experience mostly is loses so that is very obvious. Anyway, if it's done in different purpose, I would choose both, I can have fun in gambling while continue my journey in making money in trading.

Gambling is just all about luck. People that says it can be a way to earn money and they prove it themselve are just lucky that time they won. I never see a person that gambles very often and get rich in the long run. All of them just become broke and got in debt. Trading is really a good way to make money. You can do trading even while at home and make a living wirh it.

I agree that gambling depends on "luck" but actually it is on chance.  A person can earn from this regularly as long as he knows how to quit.  In the other hand trading is much more complicated stuff but the best thing about this, is that there is an exit where you can minimize your lost.

Trading is just like a job where you cant work without having necessary knowledge of it. Gambling on the other hand is for everyone whether you are knowing about it or not, its just luck. No luck means No Win in gambling.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 20, 2017, 03:17:12 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

Well, that would be hard . Because most of us rely on using bitcoin. I mean most of us is working using bitcoin . If government or your own country, this will be bad. Think about the posibilities about this one. Bitcoin Society will be down. Bitcoin users will stop and look for another job to do. Because bitcoin is now on our society.

Honestly, I don't believe in such scenario.
World today is very divided and in conflict.
Do you really think that EU and Trump can agree about anything?
Or Putin and EU?
Iran and America?
I don't think so.
They all have very different political and economical interests in the world and I don't believe in unique decision about bitcoin.
Some countries may try to ban bitcoin but I don't believe it's realistic and possible.
They can't close Internet or control each citizen on Internet, no way.
I'm more worried about possible tax for bitcoin income.

i myself do not think that bitcoin is going to be banne, bitcoin will continue as digital currency and hope that the government willl also consider it as legal currency.

I am also confident that bitcoin can not be banned. This is technologically impossible. But you can prohibit or impose large taxes converting bitcoin into a fiat currency

Yes, bitcoin is hard to ban unless you discover any flaw or loophole in blockchain which make people automatically quit the bitcoins. Other than that bitcoins cant be  banned .

664  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BITCOIN WALLET on: March 20, 2017, 02:57:37 PM
Hello!

I didn't understand something I opened a Bitcoin wallet at xapo and bought bitcoin and transfer it to my persenal wallet in xapo
Now when people say dont lose your password to your wallet do they mean to my xapo account or what? because I didnt understand what does it mean and i read a lot of topics about this.
when people say to save my bitcoin on offline mode how can i do this?
I didn't understand so much the this with the wallet how I can access it? ( only from Xaop or there another method? )

thank you for all the help upfront!

XAPO has a password and a PIN code. you should remember both of them and should not lose them. Also make your account verified so that support may help you in case of any problem.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a Bitcoin ATM? on: March 20, 2017, 02:53:20 PM
Closest bitcoin ATM where I can go is 300 km far. I didn't have need to go there for years, last time I was there I didn't know about bitcoins. Next time I will try bitcoin ATM, I saw couple times on YouTube how it's easy, and I wish to try that.
Even they have higher fee then some other ways yo purchase bitcoin, I find that ATM's are good thing for people to get some bitcoins easy and anonymous, and without much bothering.

You're lucky u have bitcoin ATM in your country although its 300 KM far away  Smiley We do not have yet this facility in our country . I hope our government also take steps to start a BTC ATM in our country.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [RaiBlocks] RaiBlocks trading thread on: March 20, 2017, 02:48:04 PM
After listing into another exchange mrai rate has been increased to 500 sats. It indicates mrai has great future which the value the mrai may be increased to 1000 sats, but we have to wait and how it is going to be in coming days.

mercatox is being offline for now. I wonder when it will come back ? We needto list Mrai to a better exchange. Maybe C-cex or yobit will be a good exchange for XRB .

668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin no longer a decentralized system ? on: March 20, 2017, 02:37:11 PM
So apparently the core developers want to change bitcoin POW, I want to ask that when the majority of the bitcoin community is slowly reaching a consensus on BTU then instead of supporting the consensus why are they hell bent on destroying btc?

Is bitcoin no longer a decentralized system where everyone can decide for themselves and then the majority wins?

Finally, if the majority of the bitcoin miners and bitcoin users seem to favor BTU then why they dont support it?

I dont think this is exactly true. Bitcoin will remain a decentralized system, Any attempt to make it centralized will not be taken as favorable among majority of the bitcoins users.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: March 20, 2017, 01:55:16 PM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas

The only thing I know for to earn here steadily was joining in the signature campaign. Bcoz there are campaign giving payout weekly to their participants according to the task if they meet to comply thier quota in terms of posting weekly. then aside from that they can do trade in the platform exchange sites.

Signature campaign is not a steady income, they can help you in financial problem.in some other time but they do not last long, they can say that they will stop their campaign in anytime, and it requires a good and reputable high rank to have good income weekly.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: March 20, 2017, 03:17:25 AM
i think gaming is the best option these days

Gaming?? Really? How comes that gaming is a source of income can you share it with us? So we can start playing too like you do. I guess its exciting. but it is not a reliable source of income. Gambling is just a luck where you may win but more chances you will lose.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Bitcoin Wallets in 2017 on: March 20, 2017, 03:07:42 AM
I was using multibit wallet till last year. Suddenly one day it showed some java problem .I dont remember what was that. After that I couldnt open that wallet. After that I started using coinbase. Its tension free and has less or almost zero transaction fees. I like coinbase.

Yes, coinbase is so easy to hold on and less tension using it unlike other online wallet. And there is no problem I encountered yet. No transaction fee is also another great feature which coin base offers. I think we should use coinbase if your involved in the business where there is a frequent sending required.
672  Economy / Services / Re: lizi signatures code contest on: March 19, 2017, 05:13:46 PM
Increase the amount and then you will get a decent design otherwise by u will only get poor work maybe to 0.03 at the lowest amount

Yes I suggest too, better increase the amount of the price so you can get good result and hook those who are truely good in this field. The more you give benefit to the programme, the better more quality work you will receive and in the end you will find the most attractive signature code.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In bitcoin 5 years now, still feel like i'm newbie, i'm not, i'm old school on: March 19, 2017, 04:32:44 PM
I sometimes feel that i came late to bitcoin because i got in during 2012, then i was late to the show, but now i am like old skool.  Have seen all this shit before and am like ,,,, "what ever"  trust me me newbies , or dont its the bitcoin way.  we have been down this road before, just dont sell or trade into alts you will regret it.  Smiley  learn from my mistakes.   Grin

Maybe you just made  a wrong choice of coin where you trade on and maybr that is not for you to be in. There were some people around who can prove to you that they have been successful on their altcoins.
674  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: March 19, 2017, 04:02:03 PM
How Friends I Want Start A Small Business With Bitcoin With Daily Or Weekly Payment Any Idea From Where To Start Will Be Thankful.

Good to see another new interest for btc. Mate, you need to know in what field are you into, like selling items, services. There are many options to start with,if you already have a real business you can start on receiving a payment using bitcoin that would be great and making some promotion of btc to the public
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 19, 2017, 03:46:59 PM
I'm saving my bitcoin for future purpose. I'm getting serious with my life now so I don't have enough time for making fun of real money.

Though it's not that bad to have some good time with your coins for buying things out which you need and have fun with those things.

But right now, I'm more focused on my future.

Most of us is like what you are thinking, saving for the future since we can see that btc will have a good time soon and the value will be gonna soar high so saving will be fun after we see the very good value per btc.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: March 19, 2017, 03:22:55 PM
If bitcoin survive that long then it will be holding some unbelievable price and it will be widely used and accepted by that point of time as more people will be aware about it and there will be many places where we will be able to use them.
I think till that time the government will create something to make bitcoin controlled by the system and to work on heads and elite of the country. Yes, it's going to be used in many places if bitcoin survive, but I doubt that bitcoin will not change. We will not see bitcoin the same.

We will not see the same? yes because it will be more higher value than what we have now and for sure there will be countries that will going to accept bitcoin and maybe time will come government will find ways to control it like in fiat
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: March 19, 2017, 01:19:54 PM
in no distant time btc is taking over paypal. Paypal used to be the most trusted but are now losing trust from its customers due to insecurity issues.......
It is not insecurity issue I guess, it is now because of irreverssible transaction, because buyers can get their money back after 180 days of transaction which is so bad in the part of the seller . Bitcoins has no such issues.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 19, 2017, 11:36:40 AM
It is important after all
trade bitcoin  Better than gambling

gambling is not good at all

Yeah, gambling is not a good way of investing. It is just a waste of money if you think you invested it there. And even some other investing sites that are popping up everywhere, most of them are scams.  Gambling in itself is a sort of scam as luck will never favour you always .
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Are central banks losing control? on: March 19, 2017, 10:00:39 AM
The central bank does not lose control. There is no reason to think so. Bitcoin does not yet have a strong impact on the economies of countries

Yes, exactly, the economic status of one country cannot feel the movement of bitcoin, and so it does not affect it. Central Bank has a good system to lose control, so how does this speculation goes? I Think its too early to say that central bank of any country can lose control because of bitcoins and other digital currency.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: March 18, 2017, 02:57:09 PM
I am getting steady income from signature campaign and full time job and I am very much satisfied with what I am earning as if I am short of cash at the end of the month then I have bitcoins in the form of back up to take care of my expenses but generally I don't prefer to sell them and save them for future.

Good to see that, you are in good signature campaign and you manage to have it all like posting while having a regular job and earn from it. But also be ready of the time that sig.campaign did not last for so long.
