661  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from Bets.io on: October 25, 2023, 01:23:34 AM
Welcome back to the forum! I hope to see this ANN thread become an active hub for long-term updates and communication with the community. I've noticed that you have a decent site with a good UI, which suggests that you can compete with the best. Building a strong reputation will be crucial, so keep this thread updated.

I also recommend you to run a signature campaign as that will allow you to get Bets.io

Regarding this, they've run a signature campaign in the past, but it only lasted for one week. So, the concept of a signature campaign is not new to them. Hopefully, they'll relaunch it.

Here's there past sig camp manage by Hhampuz

662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 22, 2023, 05:18:24 AM

I’ve been really surprised how well Wemby has been playing. I wonder if it’s just because of the preseason or what. I haven’t seen him getting bullied too much down low. I suspect that is going to change as soon as the regular season starts. I was totally wrong about LaMelo Ball though so maybe I’ll be surprised.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
When the actual season start the intensity will also go up.
Now everybody just wants to get ready, not get hurt, and shape up their game for the season.

As soon as it starts they won't let a rookie take the spotlight so easily.

Sure he will have a good season, that's out of question. But it won't look as "easy" as it did in the past games.

I'm pretty optimistic about Wemby's performance. He's the go-to guy on the team, and they're counting on him to deliver. With him stepping up, I think the Spurs should have a solid season. I have no doubt about his abilities; he was a first-round overall pick for a reason, and he's given us a taste of what he can do in the regular season. Of course, the regular season is more physical, but I'm sure Wemby knows what he's up against, especially with a coach who's been in the NBA for decades. Still, we'll have to wait and see. Right now, as excited as we are, all we can do is hope that he stays injury-free and doesn't get hit by the career-ending kind.
663  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Traditional business or investing in bitcoin? which one is good? on: October 20, 2023, 02:05:41 PM
I believe it's wise to consider a balanced approach, for me choosing both traditional business and investing in Bitcoin can shape my financial future. I know that traditional business is time-consuming and has high startup costs like what I started this early month of October, but it can provide me with stable income and personal satisfaction so this will be my active income. Owning a business allows me to have more control over the operations and direction, giving me the ability to directly influence the success so can I support my investment into Bitcoin. And for Bitcoin investment, this will be my passive income that will give me high potential returns.

That's a great point! To sum it up, Bitcoin can be a source of passive income, while a business offers active income. Having both can help diversify our investments, which is a smart move. It's good to see that people are thinking about their future security and not putting all their eggs in one basket, whether it's Bitcoin or business. We should definitely keep following that path.

Sa ngayon parang ang nagyari lahat ng savings ko monthly nakalagay sa bitcoin and some other altcoins.

Wow, all your savings, you must be a real high risk taker.

Meron naman balak to start another business but only after the crypto bull run or after sa 4-year cycle ni bitcoin. So sa ngayon focus muna sa talpakan at sana mag grow nga savings para kahit papaano lalaki ang capital sa business, probably 2025 or 2026.

What do you mean by talpakan? Are you referring to cockfighting gambling? I thought it was already ban by the government.
664  Local / Pilipinas / Traditional business or investing in bitcoin? which one is good? on: October 20, 2023, 11:27:14 AM
Let's discuss about our future here, since we talk about bitcoin all the time, I like to break that a bit and with some realistic questions for our future. We are all are thinking of our future, so I like to get your opinion between the two on what will you choose to secure your future.

If you believe in both, kindly elaborate on why you choose both and the potential impact on your future.
665  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Which bull run experience is the best for you? on: October 20, 2023, 11:16:47 AM
Appreciate your responses, everyone. I can see that there are some members here who have experienced the last two bull runs, and I hope their experiences inspire the readers. For those who have questions, feel free to ask. It's not just about the experiences; we're also happy to share tips on what to do during a bull run to ensure you don't get misled.

I'll be adding a poll, so please consider voting to determine which bull run you think was better.
666  Local / Pilipinas / Which bull run experience is the best for you? on: October 19, 2023, 03:22:55 AM
Since it looks like a bull run is on the horizon, I'd like to hear about your experiences during the bull runs you've already been through, and which one was the best in your opinion, especially if you've been in the crypto space for a while. As for me, I experienced the 2017 and 2021 bull runs, but I enjoyed the 2017 one more because it was my first experience of a bull run. Back then, not only Bitcoin but also altcoins were bringing in substantial gains.

The 2017 bull run brought significant changes to my life; I was able to do and buy things I had only dreamed of before the bull run occurred. I could afford properties, travel, dine in fancy restaurants, and enjoy experiences that money wasn't a problem for me that time. It's safe to say I was financially free for a while, or what they call a 'one-day millionaire,' hehe.

So, guys, please share your experiences. Let's inspire the newbies with our stories.
667  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / How can we increase the merit distribution within our local community? on: October 18, 2023, 02:57:35 PM
I've noticed that other local communities distribute a lot of merits among their active posters. Here, I can only see a few merits being given out, so I'd like to know from those who are well-informed about merit distributions how we can increase our merits here. Currently, it seems like merits are the primary factor used to determine if a user is a spammer or not; it's what they initially look at when reviewing your account.

Most, if not all of us, want to earn merits, either to rank up or to have a good reputation when joining a specific signature campaign. But it shouldn't be limited to that area alone; when more Filipino forum users receive more merits, it will demonstrate that we aren't spammers and that we're genuinely interested in intelligent discussions. Furthermore, it will encourage newbies to join the community and grow here, giving them an opportunity to rank up for them to explore opportunities with their rank up account.

Honestly, I haven't seen many newbies here promoted to higher forum ranks, unlike in other local communities where some newbies have reached legendary status in a short period. What I'm saying is, if they can do it, I believe we can too.

We Filipinos are proficient in English since it's our second language. Sometimes, we tend to keep things simple, and we don't engage deeply in discussions. If we have time to spend on the forum, we might as well make it valuable. I'm encouraging everyone to be more active; we can create threads that are beneficial to everyone, whether in English or Tagalog. What's important is that we express the topic effectively.
668  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Can we create a thread/post in english here the same as Indian Board? on: October 18, 2023, 02:43:54 PM
It seems like our local community isn't as active as some others. I waited for a reply, and it took 3 days to get one. But it's not a big deal; I just feel a little envious of other communities where they have more active discussions. I've also noticed that they receive a lot of merits in their local. Do we still have a merit source in our local community?

Thanks for your replies, guys. I'll create some topics in English that could interest our kabayan here, as I can express myself better in English compared to Tagalog. I appreciate the positive responses, and it's good to hear that there are no rules to be broken.
669  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Can we create a thread/post in english here the same as Indian Board? on: October 15, 2023, 01:32:01 PM
I was browsing through the local Indian board and noticed many topics there are in English. It got me thinking - maybe we could do the same thing in our community and see how everyone responds to it. I understand that not all of us are fluent in Tagalog, as we have users from different provinces and various dialects, given that we live in a large country, right? So, I find it easier to respond and create topics in English. Since Filipinos are generally proficient in English, why not allow it in our conversations here?

There are numerous benefits to this idea. For one, we can already practice and improve our writing skills, which is something that some users value. So, what are your thoughts on this? I'd love to hear your opinions. If any of the mods have the time to reply to this, it would be great to read their thoughts on how this change could help our community grow and improve at the same time.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tszyu vs. Mendoza Confirmed for WBO Title Showdown on October 15th on: October 15, 2023, 06:33:06 AM
Mendoza has become like a punching bag in this fight. Both fighters aren't particularly quick, even Tszyu, who appears slow and doesn't throw many jabs, but his timing is excellent, which is why Mendoza got badly hurt. This kind of fight is interesting to watch, and I'm sure it entertained the fans, especially since their home fighter won the match. With Tszyu's success, I think he needs a better opponent next time; he's due for that, I guess.
671  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why trust electrum? on: October 15, 2023, 06:10:19 AM
However, even with all these precautions, there's still a risk of losing your hard-earned money. That's why it's smart to use different wallets. If you choose to stick with Electrum, it's a good idea to spread your funds. This way, if one of your wallets gets compromised, it won't wipe out all your assets since you've already diversified your funds.
I don't think spreading your funds across different wallets like Electrum, Bluewallet, sparrow wallet etc. can help you out if your system is compromised with a malware. The numbers of wallets you have running on your computer does not really matter, a clipboard malware for instance can still insert itself in any of the wallets and steal your funds. The most important thing is to adhere to important security measures like never click phishing links, don't download apps from unknown sources and avoid downloading cracked apps.

For maximum security, you can store your funds on a hardware wallet or an airgapped device.

Speaking of the clipboard, this would only take effect if you've copied the information to proceed a transaction, correct? So if you make a mistake, you'd already know that it's compromised, and it won't affect other wallets because you'll be more careful next time. You might even end up reprogramming your computer to eliminate that malware. What I'm saying is, you will lose the balance of one of your wallets but the others will be safe.
672  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why trust electrum? on: October 13, 2023, 07:41:16 AM
I may not be an expert in the technical aspects of Electrum, but you can trust me 100% on this issue. I've had a friend who fell victim to a compromised application. A message popped up, suggesting an application upgrade, and he unwittingly followed the link to the wrong site. As a result, his seed was stolen, and all his funds were siphoned away. These security issues are no joke, which is why it's crucial that if we decide to update, we should make darn sure we download the update from the official site.

673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Need Satoshi? on: October 13, 2023, 07:28:44 AM
I'd bet my entire house that there's nothing to worry about - Satoshi will always stay anonymous. I mean, the guy is probably out there, living it up, enjoying his wealth, traveling the world, and soaking in the good life. Why would he choose to step out of that peaceful and abundant existence? Being anonymous has given him the freedom to savor life to the fullest. Satoshi is like the crypto god– we can't see him, but we sure do believe in him. It's better if things stay that way.
674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]Adrien Broner vs Chris Howard (Welterweight) Nov 4. . on: October 13, 2023, 07:00:26 AM
Chris Howard has only fought once since 2016. Broner isn't going to challenge for a world title any time soon with those kind of opponents. The fact he's ranked in the top 15 with any sanctioning body has more to do with his name recognition than his quality as a fighter. "About Billions" is clearly desperate for money, that's why he had to resort to signing with Don King. We'll see if he actually goes through with this fight or if he ends up using the mental health issues excuse again and pulls out at the last minute.

He bounced back with two wins after his defeat against Pacman, so it seems safe to assume that any mental issues he had are in the past or under control. This may not be a championship fight, but I'm sure there's still plenty of interest in watching it. Some might be tuning in just to see how Broner ends his career, hehe.
675  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Merit Help]Tulungan para magrank-up ang Newbie hanggang Hero Member on: October 13, 2023, 06:26:07 AM

676  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Parlay Bets for this upcoming weekend in all sports areas on: October 12, 2023, 01:38:13 PM
Hello all,

Have any of you made great parlay bets in the past? I would love to know what it was! Do you have any current Parlay bets being wagered that you would be open to sharing?

I've had some successful parlay bets in the past, and it made for a good day since the winnings were significant. However, it was just for fun and hasn't happened again. So, if you're considering a parlay bet, I'd ask you, what particular games are you interested in betting on?

If you're into basketball, especially the NBA, you might want to check out the NBA betting thread. Some posters share their picks and bet slips, and some even have parlay bets too.

677  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN]Stake.com NEW SIGN CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l 15 HERO & LEG SPOTS OPEN on: October 09, 2023, 09:48:21 AM
But why is it that it is always open for new applicants, always. I have not seen a time it was CLOSED or CFNP.

I wouldn't bother questioning that; I believe the right thing to say is THANK YOU because an always-open campaign means they're providing opportunities for members who like to participate. Just recently, I noticed that some members were removed from the campaign, if I'm not mistaken. So, in a long-running campaign, there's never a guarantee that you'll stay indefinitely.
678  Economy / Gambling / Re: My best SPORTSBETTING advices! ⚽️ on: October 09, 2023, 06:20:58 AM
I usually go for the free play approach when experimenting. It's just simpler to make hypothetical bets on paper and see if the results are promising enough to give me the confidence to put real money on the line. Now, this isn't like other games; it's sports betting, probably the biggest thing in the sports industry due to the massive amounts of money involved from sports bettors. So, once I nail down that kind of consistency, I'm pretty sure the sky's the limit when it comes to profits.

Honestly, all the strategies in the world won't help if you're not a disciplined gambler. I'm talking about how you handle your emotions while gambling, especially when dealing with the inevitable ups and downs, and still manage to stay focused on your game plan. It's easier said than done, but with time and effort, you can definitely master it in the long run.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 08, 2023, 12:32:52 PM
I haven't seen the odds of this over 48.5 wins. But if this is 1.80 or above then I am taking this risk.

Hey there, mate, I'm afraid you can't get those odds with over 48.5 wins because currently, it's higher than that. The odds are already out on sportsbet.io, so you can check it out for yourself.

680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes just flex it ( luck is all you need) on: October 08, 2023, 11:53:23 AM
Hey, I'm pretty impressed by your luck to hit those odds. True, the amount might not be super significant, but if you'd bet bigger, you could've walked away with a hefty chunk of change. But, you know, since it's a parlay, some folks say you're just tossing your money away. It's not really necessary to bet big, which makes it easier to climb back up and just pick another parlay and hope for the best.

Absolutely, hitting odds like that is doable as long as you keep at it with those parlay bets. And you know what? It doesn't even have to hurt your wallet 'cause you can place less than a dollar on it. It's kinda like playing the lottery but with better odds of winning.

I've actually scored similar odds in the past, not even through a parlay, just a single bet. I went for the heavy underdog, the kind that's down by double digits from the get-go. Nobody thinks they'll make a comeback, especially when they start as the big underdog. But when luck's on your side, you can win even when it looks like a long shot. I'm talking about sports betting, of course.
