661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: September 27, 2023, 02:58:25 PM
I believe it's how you treat gambling as of the frequency. If you make it so that's always going to be dependent on you deciding that you will gamble, you will definitely be affected and be addicted. I think some addicts think that it's going to be more chances so it's going to be more chances of winning but there's no guarantee in that.

You should be doing things to be productive.
662  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversification in Global reserves. on: September 27, 2023, 02:07:48 PM
With all around the world leading the changes being a millennial and some people wanting crypto, it wouldn't be surprising that Bitcoin would be able to keep up with Gold. It's all about the demand and how much it could bring to the economy and become the leading asset for people, then it would probably continue to increase in price as well.
663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: September 27, 2023, 12:04:11 PM
What the heck are crypto games? Is that where Axie or any type of game you are going to be involved in? It's like the Ponzi scheme type of thing and it's never going to be a forever type of thing.

For everything, I think the best and the easiest is a slot machine. You don't really have to think, it's just luck.
664  Economy / Economics / Re: Surge in Bankruptcy Filings And Economic Crisis Vs Recession Vs BTC Price on: September 26, 2023, 11:28:39 PM
cash out at the current BTC price? You are sure? 🤣 I'm sure you have doubts too 😅
I'm not sure that's why I said maybe lol. Grin. I don't want to exchange my BTC TBH but I want to take advantage of the price IF it goes down or something.

Many young startups cannot survive due to Covid and this is made worse by the still bad economic situation. Even if this happens sooner, I'm sure there is still one place to survive, Gold or Bitcoin, but I doubt stocks.
You do remember that in COVID, nothing survived right? Everything went down so much that nothing really survived and everybody cashed out. What would be the difference now if it continues with this economy?
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING] Crypto casino scam on teh move again. on: September 26, 2023, 04:59:05 PM
Thanks for sharing this. I believe it's always going to be a scam if it's too much. Like what others said, it's a "too good to be true" type of thing. Too much in a short time might make it really seem illegal or something. It's still best to make sure that you are doing the right things and are legal. Be careful.

Whenever I receive PMs like that, I sometimes go along the ride and just waste both of our time with that. Maybe I would be helping someone not get "PMed" in a bit lol.
666  Other / Meta / Re: Application For Merit Source [Philippines Local Board] on: September 26, 2023, 04:54:22 PM
I just came across this when I saw this on my watchlist and being mentioned. I do hope I can help in some way to make the local board more active. I am still willing to become one. Whenever I have the opportunity, I distribute my merit to the local board. Hoping to make this continuous.
667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Profit at $1,188.91 - Profit 36.5715% - 2 Months on: September 26, 2023, 04:47:06 PM
Sorry for replying to this old topic but I'm curious to see if there was any results to share for 2022 and 2023?
So, any updates with the grid strategy? Do you still use it or did you adjust it?
Thanks!
No worries. I'm planning to post a new one for this. I'm just trying to find the right time to set it up. Would you want Grid Strategy to be the main one? I'm looking for multiple strategies that could probably be helpful in the long run. That's my target. Set and forget type.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is life on: September 26, 2023, 10:32:03 AM
Your post made my head hurt. With all the incomplete messages and confusing structure.

Why would be comparing Gambling and Bitcoin equate to mentally Ill already?

Gambling and Bitcoin = Mentally Ill

Like how would that suffice the factors of real mentally ill people? Isn't that toxic mindset to begin with just because you do not have the same mindset as other people?

That is possible if you are going to put your whole income into gambling. If you cannot control your gambling, then you should seek help right away. It's easy to say but hard to do for an addict.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Surge in Bankruptcy Filings And Economic Crisis Vs Recession Vs BTC Price on: September 26, 2023, 03:57:43 AM
This like somewhat trickled my brain because of the possibility of another downfall because of the panic or something. I'm afraid that it could be a different thing or maybe be faster but it's not something that we can really predict unless it happened already. It's always going to be that way.

Since it's about the bankruptcy filings, maybe it's a sign that those startups that started in 2020 could have completely gone bankrupt and not done anymore about it. A lot of ideas have floated and gone so it could be those things as well.

I'm pretty worried about BTC now, maybe it's time to cash out? Lol.
670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Education for Beginners: The Sovereign University on: September 25, 2023, 03:39:18 PM
I like how they gave this effort towards the making of a site like this and I like how you don't need to register, as far as I know, on the part where I'm in right now. It shows a short introduction and then the video. I like how this goes because those who are interested won't have t o find too many resources in order to learn about BTC aside bitcointalk.

Anybody finished a module or anything?
671  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How I Lost $120,000 ? on: September 25, 2023, 07:54:41 AM
Can you post a summarized approach here? Are you posting here for the views or are you posting to share information to prevent others from going with the same thing? Because those are very different things that I hope you can answer.
672  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 24, 2023, 11:12:11 PM
Whatever they are doing, it's great that they are using disruptive technology and can probably give what they earn to their parents. It's fun to see stuff like this it makes it even more interesting when people try to give way to this and show that it is possible.

What's the next thing that could be done? Hmm.
673  Economy / Gambling / Re: - UGA - a Gamblers Union on: September 24, 2023, 04:13:32 PM
Am I understanding this right? When a gambler is losing, you want someone to be on the line, like the customer service representatives, and be there to "comfort" you during the time of loss. Is that right?

Your intentions are not bad but it doesn't make sense either because customer service representatives are there to help you support with the overall casino experience and not be a therapist.

I agree that having that would help gamblers with their feelings but I don't think the effect would be so big that it could affect the impact. Have a hotline for it or something
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Couple of questions for GameFI projects on: September 24, 2023, 04:05:02 PM
For the questions that you have, I think it can be thought of hard. Sos for example: The reason why the tokens price is because there's a selling pressure and having projects to not have developing things that could increase value would lead you to be always selling hence the decrease in price of the asset.

To "know" how to say that an asset will increase in price can never be done in anyway, it's always going to be unpredictable. You should know that already.

Why are you interested in the GameFi projects? Can you list all the things that you think of?
675  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Continuous Telegram scam warning on: September 22, 2023, 02:32:27 PM
It's still best that you have that confirmation from Bitcointalk and also in Telegram. Thank you for sharing this OP. It might not be just about when auctions are happening, it could in be other stuff as well.
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop loss on: September 21, 2023, 05:02:28 PM
Your question is quite confusing. These are my takes.

What you said = "pushed down a little bit"
  • The stop loss adjusted down and then when it reached, it gave you more losses
  • The stop loss was reached without any movement of the stop loss but still gave you losses

So what is it OP? Both things could've happened but the first one is more unlikely because of the unexpected movement of a stop loss. It's either you have dynamic wise or you've been hacked or something but still, it wouldn't move by itself.

Basically, the reason that you lost is that the price just reached, and unfortunate for you because it hit your SL. That's volatility.
677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 21, 2023, 03:51:31 PM
Would you report on something that you have lost after a while in a casino??  Tongue Just kidding.

I believe a lot of people have nothing to do with tax and reporting it since it's somehow entertainment. It's more of a hobby for them. The taxes that they are contributing to are the ones they buy that are not tax-free or something. The added tax towards the things they buy immediately is probably the tax part.

Is there a proper way to handle those things?
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is The Father After All on: September 21, 2023, 03:30:00 PM
Is this like the One above all? Like in the comics? Lol. I'm just kidding.

Kidding aside, it is the start of the crypto era and the first one to have this kind of traction it's a game changer in the financial system and could somewhat be an imbalance at the start and it gave spread to the economy I think. It's a nice thing that it started.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: September 21, 2023, 09:17:57 AM
Ferrari with this win will have both Sainz and Leclerc both fighting for the top spot of first driver and the Mercedes duo will be re-evaluating on how they organize themselves going on in this race for the last lap. So there isn't an incident happening to Russell with going so hard into the wall next time.

This one should be an interesting one to see how the teams handle each other after what had transpired in Singapore.
I remember watching the interview of Lewis talking about the incident. He said that it could be because of the really hot tires and possibly the pressure put on by Lewis to George to go faster and try and overtake. It's really a preview on what the F1 could be if Red Bull isn't that dominant throughout the season.
680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: September 17, 2023, 07:44:50 PM
First heard about it when a rather famous cryptoinfluencer mentioned they were in Singapore and livestreaming their show live from Singapore at the beginning of last week because they were there for the conference and the F1 race this weekend.
It might have been for this one which is for WEB3 instead:
https://beincrypto.com/token2049-singapore-set-to-be-worlds-largest-web3-event
It's sad I wasn't able to attend it while I'm here. Maybe next time.

Anyways F1 race is about to begin and not seeing a Red Bull in the starting line-up is something new to behold.
Let's see which teams can capitalize on this unrecognizable front grid of Russell and Sainz.
It was really an amazing race. The place I was in was great with many overtakes and action. I was in turn 7 and it was a great view. Nice to be there in action.

It probably made it easier for bookies since there is little chance of rain by the time it starts or throughout the race according to weather forecasts. The wet conditions are usually chaotic and that gives better chances to those at the back to steal the race.
It did rain for quite a while around 3 pm I think and I think everyone was in hopes of that rain. It would be even harder for sure. Maybe in the next SGP?

Well , now we can understand why bookies gave Verstappen such big odds today because that RedBull isn't capable anymore to win races because of the flexi wing rules that changed last week. Now, I can't see RedBull winning the next races and if that will be the case , I'm afraid 2024 won't be gentle to them as well.
I don't think it's just the flexi wings, it's with the track as well. Maybe they will show again what they are capable of in Japan.

Overall , Sainz drove perfectly today and a well deserved win for Ferrari. I feel bad for Russel but he really went all or nothing during the last lap...
Definitely a great win for him. It's definitely unfortunate for Russel with those missed points.

Did anybody noticed the front wing of Perez?
