661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tried Copy Trading? on: September 01, 2017, 06:28:12 AM
Since not all of the people interested with trading can be professionals in this field and not all can have the time to focus on always being updated in all hours of the day, many trading firms are now offering Copy Trading. This means that we can just follow the trade moves of someone who is already an expert and has proven track record of success. It started with forex and now they are also offering cryptocurrencies as this is now in demand and very trendy.

Have you tried copy trading with cryptocurrency? How was the experience and what are the possible pitfalls with this set-up? Hope to hear more from you guys on this regard.
I don't believe in copy trading, bro... instead, why don't you try gunbot? It's quite easier and more reliable than copying human emotions. Ha ha ha. Just kidding.

Anyway, I have been using gunbot for a while now and so far so good. (Except for the past July and August when altcoins are so so down). Cheers!
662  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Jumps Above $4,800 for the First Time on: September 01, 2017, 06:20:25 AM
Bitcoin's price briefly passed above the $4,800 mark for the first time today.

According to data from CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), the price of the cryptocurrency hit a high of $4,802.74, before falling back to levels seen over the past few hours of trading.

Guys what would be opinion upcoming months and what is expected price in upcoming year. Normally price use to bump when we nearing new from Dec 20 to Jan 1.
I am not quite sure if this would make sense, but It seems like the Chinese considers August as a ghost month that's why they did not make so much transactions... now that August has ended, expect them to be back in bitcoins and make it close to $10k before the ber-months end. CAVEAT!
663  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Which Hardware Wallet is The Best? 2017 on: August 31, 2017, 05:42:59 PM
I would suggest Ledger Wallet HW.1; I am using it to store BTC and BCC, so far I haven't encountered any issues regarding downtime or anything like that. Also, before your funds could be transferred somewhere else, you must key in your hard pass code which is stored in a separate physical card. I would really recommend it to those who store huge amount of BTCs and BCCs.

Hi sir...
Is your free offer still available? If it is, can you kindly make a logo for "noodle punk". I want something cartoonish like gorillaz (the band); some kind of a cute baby japanese eating noodles in a bowl with chopsticks. the baby should be wearing mohawks (so she would look like a punk)...

then there is a caption saying "eat fruits, save noodles".

Thanks  Grin

Hi again Noodle,

Please see below an initial concept for your logo.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Thanks,

Anyone can change their own writing style - it's called "misdirection."

I somehow agree with this. Even in signature campaigns, I know there is somebody out there who uses multiple accounts and still you cannot tell that those belong to him.

670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how much amount its really worthy for start daily trading without lavarage ? on: August 29, 2017, 10:10:08 AM
hi guys, im kinda new in this crypto trading.
so i want to know how much amount its really worthy for start daily trading?
so if you may. share your opinion here. really apriciated  Smiley

Good day to you, amigo... I want to share with you my early moments in trading bitcoins over altcoins. As frugal as 400USD I had started my journey with this exchange called bitfinex, I did margin trading and believe me amigo, it doubled my USD in the first 2-3 days. However, I am not sure if that is what they call devil's luck because after I became addicted to margin trading I placed a wrong bet on ETC (I margin buy with all my BTC and the price eventually went down big time) so my money went back to more or less 300USD.

With that remaining money, I learned to control my greed and became contented with small daily profits.

Lesson learned: Avoid margin trading, noob!

672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: August 26, 2017, 12:19:24 PM
Hello, as we all know that Bitcoin is heading straight to the moon. Me, as an employee, do also invest with this cryptocurrency, and I kinda need to divide all of my salary for my needs, and on how much should I invest in? Let's talk about percentage. Anyone?
If you are a full time employee my friend, you must only put an amount which you can afford to lose. In other words, only put the amount that you do not need to spend somewhere else, it doesn't matter how much it is or how many percentage is it... the point is to save money for your older self but at the same time you would still be able to enjoy the present. Believe me, it would be useless to save 50% of your money in bitcoins but you are deprived with other things that you like. Sooner or later you would be pissed off with this situation.

In my case, everything is in bitcoins because I earn bitcoins, and my salary is bitcoins. But back in the old days, before I became a full time blogger and researcher, I only put extras in bitcoins from my fiat salary.
673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 26, 2017, 11:41:17 AM
Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?
If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.
What's your strategy?
Ok I get it, you are not a full time trader at all. Take my advise, amigo... once you have bought your coin, set a sell order based on the chart that you are looking at; do not force yourself to get huge profit by selling at the highest because you didn't even dedicate your full time in trading. Be satisfied with 10% max profit, don't be too greedy... after all, this job doesn't seem to fit you very well.

Another piece of advise, get a bot... that bot will do the analysis, calculations, and will take care of the buy and sell. I actually have one which is running right now in Amazon's free webspace server. Unfortunately, my bot is idle because altcoins are not performing very well for 2 months already.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 26, 2017, 11:18:27 AM
How common is Bitcoin in Asia? Just want to know Huh
Pretty common in Asia and Europe. Asians take advantage of bitcoins as an escape from their respective fiat's deflation against USD. I live in the Republic of the Philippines after I left Japan. Here I noticed the Philippine Peso deflates value every year. I still remember some years ago when 1USD is = 48PHP but at the moment it is 1USD = 51PHP.

Now, with the help of bitcoins I was able to retain the buying power of my money. Instead of keeping my money in peso, I trade it with bitcoins and store it in a hard wallet.
675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which strategy is the safest investment? lending or holding btc. on: August 26, 2017, 10:43:37 AM
Hello
I have 100 btc on exchanges. But i am very stressful for daily trading because their flow of price.
So i am looking for doing with the safest investment strategy.
How do you think about the usd lending on bitfinex?
BTC lendinh on bitfinex or poloniex?
Which one is more safer? and Can you recommend me for lending bot?
Man, you must have been on weed  Grin Grin Grin
Seriously, 100 bitcoins? And you don't even know the safest investment strategy? That weed must be high grade!

But ok, for the sake of those who are reading this and also looking for a good strat, I will recommend BTC lending in poloniex. I have been lending some (less than 100) BTC there for a while now, and no hack had ever happened so far. Just make sure to turn the auto-renew off so you could withdraw your bitcoins at least every 2 days.
676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: August 26, 2017, 10:20:59 AM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?
If you are a full time trader then I would suggest you do the first option, but if you have a day job then you should better buy every pay day and HODL. Keep your coins long term; just make sure that you are buying good coins and not the garbage.

My personal favorites are Bitcoins and Bitcoin Cash... HODL till I get ODL. ha ha ha.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What goods have you got from bitcoin results? on: August 26, 2017, 07:19:41 AM
Nothing "goods" so far, amigo... this is not yet the time to harvest my bitcoins. I earn btc from this forum and then I pay my bills with it, so far I didn't want anything like cars, houses, or any goods. The only bright side about my job in bitcoins is that I do not pay taxes and the people in my hood thinks that I am a bum and they keep on avoiding me because they wouldn't get anything from me. ha ha ha. (which is very nice).

Treat your bitcoins the same way you treat your fiat... don't treat it as a jackpot, instead save it, save it as much as you can so that when you don't feel like working anymore, you are hell of a millionaire.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: August 26, 2017, 06:52:24 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
The best way to promote bitcoins on T.V. is to create a 30 minute program and discuss bitcoins from basic to advanced. If somebody could avail a 30 minute slot in a TV network - that would rapidly spread the awareness about bitcoins. Regarding funds, you could offer ads to those businesses that accepts bitcoins, or to major exchanges and ICOs...

If you have read this comment and decided to do my idea, please shout out my name on your TV show!  Grin - NOODLEPUNK
679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: August 25, 2017, 02:25:50 AM
What is your definition of a whale?
From the adjective itself, whale is somebody who can create waves. So if you can make highs and lows to a coin then please consider yourself as a whale.

Quote
How many BTCs do you need to have to be a whale?
Well you know, amigo... it's not only about bitcoins; you can create waves with your fiat. You may consider billions or trillions of Great Britain Pounds to pump and dump a coin.

I am not a whale myself but I totally understand how that works because I've been trading stocks for almost a decade now, yet I am foolish enough not to believe in bitcoins in its early stage.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban Backs $20 Million Dollar Cryptocurrency Venture on: August 25, 2017, 02:16:19 AM
Lots of big names getting involved with ICO's. Is it because ICO's represent real value. Or is it because its relatively easy to raise the market cap of an ICO to a high dollar amount? How do people see the future of the ICOverse panning out? Will ICOdom evolve into a utopian paradise. Or will it eventually decay and entropy into a barren wasteland?

ICOs could be compared to IPOs (which is a term used in stocks) when it comes to potential profit. You may imagine this - billions of dollars being invested to ICOs; now let us say 1 ICO token costs 1 dollar (that is going to be billions of tokens on hands) - once the ICO is listed in an exchange and let's say it doubled its price in a couple of days, that is huge profit!

of course my numbers are exaggerated up there  Grin but that is mostly the reason why ICOs attract big investors... they won't keep it long term anyway, amigo.
