161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 19, 2018, 12:58:25 PM
Hi, have you ever thought this?

You know that, to import a wallet you need the private key or your seed. Taking as example the private key (the 52 letters key). It could exist the possibility someone create a software whose function was to try thousands of times to find the private key till it is be done. This would be like the process to find the new block in mining, anyway you can try the times you want in order to find it.

I think this could be a weakness, correct me if I am wrong. Smiley

Or comment if you have a kind of solution for this...

Regards!

Yeah, but only a mind of a stoner would do that. I ain't gonna spent my entire life coding that bloatware if I wouldn't get a huge amount from my target. Unfortunately, an open target (people who are known for having bags of btcs) are people who would definitely spend handsome amount of money to buy antimalwares.

If I am that blackhat, I would just create a ransomware.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC again Fall down at 7k?! on: May 17, 2018, 03:47:24 PM
BTC price is always pumping and dumping although this is the main magic of crypto market I like this fluctuations. But in this current market BTC is starting to dump again. So I have a question Is this time BTC will fall down again 7k?!

This thread should have been placed in speculations section. Anyway, I feel it could possibly go as low as 7,000usd. Keep in mind that August (ghost month) is coming. The Chinese do not want to deal with any kind of business during such.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or why not? on: May 15, 2018, 11:54:39 PM
It would, bviously the demands affect the price, right? as we move forward there are always new bitcoin buyers and joiners, that's why little by little the demands are increasing. Now do the math.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money is cashless society on: May 15, 2018, 10:12:21 AM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money.

People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

How is digital money is your country ??  Bitcoin is a part of digital money.

becoming cashless is a choice, in my country we have an application called coins.ph and I use it in almost everything that I need in my daily living. I store bitcoins in a ledger and transfer the amount that I need to the app, and from there I can pay bills, buy from merchants, and etcetera...

Anyway, if you live in my country you cannot be 100% cashless... you always need paper money to buy from the sidewalks.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just lost my entire wallet of 13 BTC. on: May 15, 2018, 06:44:55 AM
- snip -
I’m already sick to my stomach.
- snip -
just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.
- snip -
I have now lost my entire life savings.
- snip -
Please don’t completely bankrupt me.

As an additional warning to those that are new to the space...

If the amount of value that you are holding in crypto is such that you would be devastated if you lost it all, then you are holding too much value in crypto.

These are experimental, volatile, and risky protocols.  Do not risk your mental and emotional well-being.
Yes, I totally agree with you, sir. I don't get it - he has 13 bitcoin but it also seems like he doesn't have anything else? I would not recommend anyone to put 90% of his wealth in crypto, not at all. So if you can afford 13 btc, it would always be smart to keep 3 bitcoins and the rest should be cashed out and placed in a safe such as banks. My sincere condolences to the thread starter.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin on: May 14, 2018, 02:16:28 PM
Is the news still hot at the moment? I personally love Kentucky Fried Chicken and I am gonna buy a bucket meal everyday if they could accept bitcoins here too. I wonder why they did such, by the way.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is a virtue in Cryptocurrency Trading. on: May 14, 2018, 02:05:12 PM
Cryptocurrency is a no go area if you are an “emergency investor “. By emergency investor, i imply someone who invests in cryptocurrency to get profits within some short period of time in order to settle some immediate financial. The probability of that happening cannot be ruled out, but in instances where they occur, the probability is about 1/10.

Patience is a virtue for bitcoin and another cryptocurrency investment. Prices exhibit intermittent Bearish and Bullish movements over short periods of times which may leave investors confused as to what step to take.

A successful investor studies the market, invests in a coin that always rises remarkably after a significant drops and take decisions in moments of highs and lows.

This will save a lot of anxious investors who sell their coins when prices are dropping, causing them to lose significantly.
Emergency investors = LOL ha ha ha!

I guess everyone knows how important it was to be patient when you are involved in the cryptosphere. One more thing, since the market is unpredictable, there are cases when the impatients are the ones who are able to escape a market crash.

Therefore, I disagree (somehow) with you. Strategies may differ among us that's why I always say - avoid giving advice regarding crypto especially when you are just somebody over the internet. It really sucks when people creates a topic here, attracting noobs to read and comment totally nonsense.
168  Local / Pilipinas / Re: What is HOT WALLET and COLD WALLET ? on: May 14, 2018, 01:52:44 PM

Anyway, regarding the topic.
Hot Wallet = Online;
Cold Wallet = offline...
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Exchange to use? on: May 14, 2018, 01:44:28 PM
I strongly recommend poloniex (I used to say Bitfinex but not anymore) because of its lending features. I haven't encountered any hack in this exchange since I started trading with them.

Deposits and withdrawals are always hassle free, sometimes you'll just have to deal with fees.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe bans crypto trading on: May 14, 2018, 01:38:33 PM
I was never surprised by this news or whatever you wanna call it. Last year, I sold bitcoins to zimbabwe with a double price against poloniex, therefore it is obvious that their community had exit fiat via bitcoin... no wonder that their government will do such announcement like this nowadays.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 14, 2018, 04:32:45 AM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?
Few years ago, I have the same state of mind like yours. So I had decided to leave my day job and start focusing on bitcoins and blogs, unfortunately I didn't see the sheep coming... and I was not brave enough to stand against the last bitcoin cash sabotage so I lost some handsome profits after I panicked.

Same will happen to you my friend. Times like these, there is nowhere else safer than being an employee especially if you are already earning a grand.

Here is a piece of advice, work hard and buy bitcoins during dips. Believe me, after a year or two you can leave your work permanently without needing a business.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of Ethereum? on: May 14, 2018, 03:42:29 AM
Ethereum is getting popular day by day. People participating in ICOs they use ETH a lot. Ethereum is a smart contract.

But what does Ethereum do better that any other alt?

Nothing else aside from the stereotypic support from the Russians. ETH is really helping the blockchain technology and it simplifies the tasks for the developer's sake. ETH is also a good alternative for fund transferring and I also believe that it could be treated as an electronic cash.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which coin safe for trading? on: May 14, 2018, 03:23:01 AM
hlw guys what's up?
I need help.
I have 0.05 btc in coinbase
I want to trade and earn extra btc
so guys suggest me which marke and which coin I buy for trading
Thanks
You may want to consider transferring your bitcoins to poloniex and lend your bitcoin in a funding wallet; that is if your goal is to earn bitcoins.

Anyway, if you want to practice your skills in day trading, I recommend that you trade btc/usdt pair... then once you are cnfident already, add eth/usdt to your pairs.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: May 14, 2018, 02:57:19 AM
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?
If you are genuinely believing that your fuckin government would do something to make the poorest lives easier, then you must have been watching cartoons in your entire life.

The reason why the rich becomes richer is they rob the middle class every single day. Media sells overpriced trash and they are so good in establishing that it is a needs. The middle class loves to buy frm the rich instead from the poor. As a matter of fact, in any country, the middle class would definitely prefer burgers from McDonald's rather than a local sole vendor.

The middle class will always be the game-changer. As soon as they change their buying psychology, instead of buying preppy accessories they can buy local merchandise - they can actually make these poor; middle class. And once every middle class refrains from supporting the rich, there would be a REVOLUTION. A perfect kind of REVOLUTION.
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading Crypto. Need HELP on: May 14, 2018, 02:43:28 AM
Hi guys ,
I have been involved in crypto for about 6 months now and I could say I have lost a bit of money by investing in some not so good coins (alts). Up to now I have only been investing and tried to hold them for some time . I haven't tried to day trade yet.
Is anyone on this forum that could genuinely help me with where to start learning about day trading and also learn a very deep understanding on how crypto works and start making money. I have some knowledge already of what they are and everything but I am not happy with this level. I really like cryptocurencies and I am ready to start going deep with this .I want to start day trade and further invest in ico's and good coins.
I cant take loses anymore is driving me nuts...I am not expecting only gains and I know it will take time but I am willing to start trading with small amounts of money like few hundred bucks as for now to start learning and then go in deeper. Is anyone on here that could give me an advice of how they started learning or whats the best way to start . I am sure there is many veterans on this forum that could give me helpful advice.
I was thinking joining some telegram memberships that offers crypto signals do you guys think that's a good thing and will actually help you learn and bring you profits in the same time or they just want take your money ?  or do you have any crypto signals group that you have personally using and are bringing you very nice profits?

any advice that could get me started on this long path will be much appreciated Grin.

Man, that sucks to be honest... you should have studied the game before you start playing it. Anyway, let's move on...

First of all, you don't need to ask for advice from someone over the internet who you didn't really know. You have mentioned that you already lose money upon buying trash coins, that should give you a perfect experience already - if you are smart enough to realize that noobies must avoid trash coins.

Next of all, you must not join pump and dump groups. Imagine how much you are paying them every single month of subscription, put that in a wallet, then you will realize that in a year you could have save that money to buy a new motorbike. Not to mention, pump and dump groups are the rotten in cryptosphere.

Third, if you want to make money out of these... btc, eth, bch; feel free to buy them everytime there is a dip. HODL on unless you need that money very badly... otherwise, I don't see any reason for you to sell low. Cryptosphere is an evil realm that could give you the taste of heaven as long as you know how to deal with your own demons.

Always buy low, sell high... nothing else.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH down now , when Will be back and hitt above 1k usd? on: May 13, 2018, 09:24:12 AM
4 days ago i see ETH at 850$ but now eth dump to 670$, would eth back to 350$ like 2-3 month ago?
It's time to panic sell or bought more?
Give your me opinion and speculation when eth will raised 1000$
I guess you are free to panic right now. ha ha. Just kidding. Don't worry my friend, I have took a glimpse of it a while ago and it is $650 now and it seems like it is gaining momentum once more. just hodl on for fries sake.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: May 13, 2018, 09:19:51 AM
I have read the OP and you seem to have a point there. Now, in my case, if the government wins over bitcoin (for whatever that means) then nothing has to change. Same old game, but its just regulated and taxed... the oldies won't worry about that, we have plenty of bitcoins anyway. Sell it to the noobs and let them be taxed, let's enjoy the profit and die.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do in this Dip on: May 13, 2018, 09:07:56 AM
The thread might be old but I know this is timely... upon dips, I recommend that you keep on buying, then hodl it, be patient - because sooner or later the coins would be pumped by the money makers.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold vs. Market Timing : Which is Better? on: May 13, 2018, 08:51:55 AM
Buy and hold strategies are often recommended for long-term investors who have time to ride out the ups and downs in the markets over a period of years. They are also typically appropriate for novice or uneducated investors who do not understand the markets but still need long-term growth or income.

Market timing strategies may work in any time frame as long as the market is timed correctly. This, of course, does not always happen, and no timing strategy has ever shown itself to be foolproof.

Which investment strategy do you prefer?
Back in the days when I was refraining from a day job, I prefer trading over HODLing - because I have all the time to watch the market pumps and dumps. However, after the ATH I have decided to get back to the office and never trade that often - therefore I bought and HODL.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why the crypto is dropping again? on: May 12, 2018, 08:31:48 AM
I thought the market is recovering, but BTC and most of alt coins are dropping again today.
Should I sell my coins?
Yeah, you must know WHEN to take profit or else you would lose a lot. Anyway, this is just the way it is... cryptosphere pumps and then dumps. I am surprised that you were surprised eh. ha ha!
