181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: May 12, 2018, 08:28:01 AM
This might be an old thread but it looks like the topic is timely nowadays. Yes, bictoins and altcoins are both still profitable especially if you know how to margin trade. Pumps and dumps are stressful only if you don't know what to do during those times... in reality, the pumps and dumps are like waves, you should enjoy it on a surfboard.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era? on: May 12, 2018, 08:23:53 AM
Financial technologies such as bitcoin, P2P lending and crowdfunding are just beginning to take off, and businesses involved in the industry pose little immediate threat to traditional commercial banks. Banks, after all, the country's economic lifeline, so I think the bank is still very important, do you think?
Of course, banks will never be obsolete and cryptocurrency will never have the capacity to kill it. Banks became successful all because of the human's psychology... not all are brave souls to put their money in a place without somebody to blame when it vanishes. well, that's where banks come handy.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIGIWAGE (WAGE) | POS | MASTERNODE | FREELANCE WORKPLACE |NO ICO on: May 11, 2018, 08:55:59 AM
the wallet have a malware that will take over your pc, stay away from this scam project yall
Hey there, have you encountered such? Can you briefly explain what have happened to your PC? Also, please specify how reliable you are that the malware came from the wallet.

i already lose my coins here downloading they desktop wallet with malware backdoor
and they ban me when i try to ask for help ,
I've been using the wallet for several months now and I haven't lose a cent at all. malware backdoor is not even a term, dude... you sounded like salawayun though.

i buy video service on digiwage freelancer site and get scam, we all must report this site to the police , before other people get scam, and the crazy thing about it is when i asking for help on discord channel they say am  a troll and ban me so fast its not fair at all
How did they scam you? I want to know the specifics, or else I will place a negative trust on you.

i buy video service on digiwage freelancer site and get scam, we all must report this site to the police , before other people get scam, and the crazy thing about it is when i asking for help on discord channel they say am  a troll and ban me so fast its not fair at all

theres 2 ways to take revenge on them before they scam more people
i will msg you, thanks for letting the community know about this scam coin
I was just a little bit worried about the reputation of Digiwage because the project seems to work fine for me. I actually have an existing gig from them, and my concern is if these trolls do not stop for once, I will reduce the chance of finding an employer... Please stop trollin' good projects like this.

we must all come together and report this scam coin so it can be down for investigation

you know that this coin is the team who is spamming all discord channels  ?
they just had fail coin i dont know if it was a scam to but you should look into it
so theres no reason to trust this new coin they come out with

you might be right there they behavior is really bad like lil kids with no brain ,its not a good idea to invest my hard earn money on some kids project and this is not they first coin waw my bad i did not do more research

am staying far from this scam coin , i already cashout all my coins from this project because the devs start staking with the premine , and everybody staking reward seems to stop working , so thats a good scam , when i question them they say they already voted to do it with a few people and they ban me lol
Well, when you were able to cashout your tokens that only means you were never scammed. You were probably paranoid though.
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you recommend never store cryptos on an exchange website? on: May 10, 2018, 05:59:47 AM
This is too much precaution or its really better never store cryptos in exchange? All exchanges are risky ?
If you can afford losing that money, then go ahead store it on exchanges. I was never sarcastic on that - in my case, I have $1000 in poloniex alone; I use that money to lend bitcoins, and to margin trade. I have already set my mind that if I got hacked, there should be no one to blame, and just move on.

I strongly suggest you use 2FA, and protonmails for login verification.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Campaign no more!! on: May 10, 2018, 05:46:40 AM
I like it when Facebook snobs all these ads because it causes hype to the cryptosphere. I hate it when people-sheep get their hands into bitcoins and other crypto-tokens without even trying to understand what are they all about. When sheep buys bitcoin on hype, the market will surely rise and attract more and more noobs;

Unfortunately, once the hype is over, these noobs would get bull-trapped and sooner or later would have no choice but to cut-loss.

Now, these cut-loss sheep will surely feel bitterness towards bitcoin and other tokens because obviously, they must have somebody else to blame about their stupidity... and these people will surely spread nasty branding about bitcoin.

Therefore, FACEBOOK ADS about crypto must be stopped for real. ha ha!
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC = ? | BCH = ? on: May 10, 2018, 05:36:43 AM
Well seriously I was an Archenemy of BCH because I used to be a solid bitcoin enthusiast; however, after the ATH in the latter of 2017, I sold my bitcoins and kept the fiat. In the recent months, there was a dip - and then I had decided to buy few bitcoins and more bitcoincash. I'm not sure about my instinct whether if it is reliable or just a noob-science, but sooner or later, huge money makers and merchants would adapt one of these two coins.

If you were that merchant, would you prefer dealing with Roger Ver? or with Satoshi?
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you say about investing in ICO? on: May 10, 2018, 05:22:19 AM
All I can say is buy at your own risk. ICOs can run away and leave you nothing but net, but also keep in mind that some of those are capable of doubling or tripling your initial fee (yeah, I don't want to call it investment eh).
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Portfolio on: May 10, 2018, 05:13:43 AM
How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?
If I were you I won't diversify. Let's say should you put $500 in your portfolio and you don't really want to trade full time (like a day trader), then I recommend to you to go all in BTC alone. Buy on dip and HODL long term.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you need to know about the Bitcoin on: May 07, 2018, 02:22:11 PM
I hate it! The list is all about rumors not the technology itself... these are not the "EVERYTHING" I need to know about bitcoin. Anyway, it would be more helpful if our dear readers would just go directly to these sites: https://bitcoin.org/ to know more about the real deal. Or you may also visit: https://www.bitcoin.com/ to become a Dragon Slayer.

But honestly, people must read the whitepaper so they may understand the real purpose of bitcoin; and that is EVERYTHING you need to know about it.
190  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Hack free ACCOUNTS on: May 07, 2018, 02:12:25 PM

Medyo noob yung diskarte mo pards.

Bueno, usapang kontra hack ba kamo? para sakin ang best precaution is using a hardwallet like Nano or Ledger HW. Hinding hindi ka nila mahahack dahil kakailanganin nila ang smartcard.

Now when it comes to soc-meds, ang best practice talaga is to not click on free porno links.

191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Me Sold all BTC at 20k $ Peak on: May 07, 2018, 01:57:54 PM
As for now btc is constant on 8 to 10k $ and it will take too much time now to reach its peak of above 20k $ per bitcoin and the fact is no one can guess when it will grow that much in upcoming time may be next year or after 5 year but all believe it will cross 20k $

but did u guess last time right and sold all ur btc at 20 k $ cause me sold it that time and buyed after 1 month on 12k $ peak luckly me guess it right

Good for you, I have sold half of my bitcoins before the ATH... well, it sucks to admit it but I sold them because I panicked on bitcoin cash FOMO and it see-sawed with the bitcoin price. That was November the 12th if I am not mistaken.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 07, 2018, 01:52:34 PM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.

I never really meant to troll out and revive this tread but I really find a lot of inspiration here... as you can read, the tread starter doesn't have faith in bitcoin back in 2013 and he doesn't wanna HODL or buy anymore. He even sees a lot of flaws in the entire btc system...

I guess 5 years from now I would see myself full of regrets for selling all my 808 coins. ha ha!
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 07, 2018, 01:46:34 PM
What did I just read? Anyway, even though the thread starter sounded like he knows nothing about what's the real deal with bitcoin, I'm gonna still give my argument. There is no such thing as "bitcoin haters" because the non-believers just don't care at all, the only reason why some people hate it is because these people had probably vanished some money last December after the FOMO... therefore, these people doesn't hate bitcoin at all - instead they just want to get their money back. Believe me, once they get it back they will keep themselves buying again.

And hey there, you know how to shut the non-believers up? Feed your head first, make yourself knowledgeable, and lastly - get rich... that will shut them up.

PS: arguing with non-believers will only make you look stooopid.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: May 06, 2018, 02:05:06 PM
This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed Banks are just for keep your money safe!  Tongue

People nowadays doesn't seem to understand things the way they used to be. Banks were never really made to make you rich ma man, they were there to keep your money safe, secured, and insured... that's that simple. Same way as bitcoins, it was never meant to make you rich either - it was designed as a payment tool for the silk-road.

If you want to be rich, you better start working your ass hard now. I didn't mean to bash you nor trash you my friend. I just want to point out your misconception about banks. Peace be with you, amigo.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the right time to buy BTC and stock ? on: May 06, 2018, 01:56:03 PM
Is it the right time to buy BTC and stock ?

I have seen this question a hundred times before, experts are advising people to buy on the dip this is where whales made their huge income, but it is always the right time to buy Bitcoin because the right price hasn't been attain yet, so fund your exchange and buy Bitcoin.
I strongly agree to the idea of buying whichever is on dip. Stocks are great especially if they were down by 7 points; that is definitely a great time for you to buy bluechips. In our country, the stocks were very cheap at the moment and I have kept some bluechips in my portfolio, I will definitely sellout once the current president's term has ended because he is the one who is causing the market crash. ha ha.

Anyway, I don't recommend trading stocks and crypto at the same time. Trust me, your brain would not handle the stress...
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: May 06, 2018, 01:49:48 PM
Hello everyone.

I am new here in crypto world but I have no experience about what is the way to earn money using cryptocurrency. I was already studied few things about cryptocurrency but for me it is not enough.

I believe that all of us are have a chance to make a better life in crypto world however I don't know to start  or where I do start? Many of members here said that investing and trading are the best way to earn more profits.

Do think that trading and investing with cryptocurrency are much better to my upcoming fulltime job? Because at this time I'm just waiting for the call of my fulltime job. What are the best advice that you may give to me. should I reject the fulltime job that I've been waiting for or to go enter the world of investing and trading?

Can you share you experiences and ideas for me.

It is the great opportunity for me to read your answers.

Thank you in advance.
Hey there buddy, don't you ever think about leaving your full time job at this point. I was like you a couple of years ago; a guy who has a decent full time job and then gets fascinated with the idea of working at home, as my own boss, as a trader. Unfortunately, I was too dumb to leave my job and focus on trading and wearing signatures in this forum - because I didn't see huge dumps coming and the tokens were minimized due to ICO bans and that had left me no campaign to join with...

You need a full time job, and I strongly advice that you trade moderately (well, as for now)... once you feel confident enough that you ain't gonna lose alot of money or get trapped in a bulltrap, that is the signal to leave your day job.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader? on: May 06, 2018, 01:41:23 PM
Not 100% true - I know some traders in the cryptosphere who doesn't even know how to read EMAs. In fact these folks do alot of speculations; but they earn handsome money, man.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all the governments of the country united to strictly prohibit the exist on: May 06, 2018, 01:11:40 PM
They can't take it down my friend. How are they going to take down something (well, almost) untraceable? If people like us would continue to accept bitcoins in exchange to some goods, then I don't see any problem at all.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: May 05, 2018, 01:47:31 PM
The argument is on how you define "ordinary folks". If you are referring to mainstream thinking sheep as ordinary folks then - yes, bitcoin is too complicated for them. Otherwise, there is nothing hard to understand from it's whitepaper.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoincash or Maker or Mixin or Ethereum? Who will be next to Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2018, 01:39:01 PM
stop making these statements, the reason why cryptocurrencies look shit to mainstream is because people are buying it not to use it as it has to be. Sheep buys it hoping that his token would soar like bitcoin... and then what? sell out once their greed has been satisfied? Don't hunt for a coin hoping its gonna be next to btc, yet you should look for a coin that has a perfect feature that fits your needs. BITCOIN CASH! it is! haha
