6641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency October discussion on: September 30, 2018, 02:57:40 PM
I hope that this month, will welcome a strong capitalization from new investors, then the market will flourish, and you, do you think like me?

Of course everyone really wanted to see that the bear season will be over and hope that the bulls regain the control of this market starting October. I'm sure that those members who have been here last year are very happy to see how 2017 turns out, starting in October and unded up a huge spike at the end of the year.

But as the saying goes, past performance is not a indication of future success so the only thing we can do is hope that we can at least end this year with a good price. So let's see how it turns out.
6642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: September 30, 2018, 02:18:40 PM
My strategy is very simple yet more effective. Buy lots of coins when its not peak season
because you can obtained a big investment from this without spending too much money and sell it when the market value is high (in just short period of time) just like trading.

That is if you have predicted which coins are going to increase in short period of time. Just like now, the market is in a bearish season so the price keeps going down. And also be careful of too many coins too, your portfolio might be clogged with worthless and shitcoins, just saying.
6643  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: September 30, 2018, 01:24:44 PM
I would bet that almost 50% of people who enter the crypto world do not necessarily understand 100% of the blockchain itself. they only know where they will invest and will get profit. I myself only know that blockchain is a ledger that records all crypto transactions.

Exactly. Majority will think that blockchain = bitcoin. Lol.

Blockchain is the technology behind almost all crypto right now. Anyways, the more people understands the difference the more they're going to be a smart investors. If they heard that some  company invested or uses blockchain technology doesn't mean that bitcoin will go the moon. Smiley
6644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 30, 2018, 12:49:43 PM
When a people going to invest in ethereum project they must trust in ethereum and there is lots of people trust in ehtereum because everyone knows about ethereum investment. Now a days most of the project support ethereum and people know very well about ethereum so you can found so many little amount of people don’t trust in ethereum because they don’t have a any idea with cryptocurrency.

Investors support ethereum because its the second speculative asset behind bitcoin. I wouldn't say that they don't trust it, but being a speculative asset people put their money to gain profit in the future. But since ethereum have suffered already, investors are going to stay out unless they see something new that will bring back their trust to the ethereum system again. So far its none.
6645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Must read books on cryptocurrency. on: September 29, 2018, 08:35:58 AM
To study more about the cryptocurrency and know exactly where bitcoin and other crptocurrencies came from, what they do and how they work, here are six(6)books every crypro user must read.
1)"Digital Gold" by Nathaniel propper
2)cryptoassets;the innovative investors guide to bitcoin and beyond by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar
3)"Blockchain Revolution" by Don Tapscott and Alex Tapscott
4)"The age of cryptocurrency" by Paul vignar and Michael j.casey
5)"American kingpin" by Nick Bilton
6)"The internet of money" by Andreas Antonopoulos.

You can also watch movies with the following titles:"The rise and rise of Bitcoin" and "Bitcoin; The end of money as we know it" both released in 2014,when global public knowledge of cryptocurrency remained a fraction of current levels.

Only noteworthy for me is Internet of Money by Andreas Antonopoulos.

I would say that it open my eyes. Its and 2 year old book (released in 2016) but I guess it's still applicable specially all about the downtrends in crypto market and of course all about blockchain.
6646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: September 29, 2018, 08:20:24 AM
I think my luck is very bad. I can not earn good profits on cryptocurrency trading any day. An example of this is Doge coin. I invested in Doge coin probably 2 months ago. Which I bought 39 satoshi and bought a total of 126000 doge coins. It was almost 2-3 weeks, I did not check the price. But when I check price on coinmarketcap a few days ago, see Doge coin 100 satoshi cross. After that I was very happy. But when I login into exchange, for selling Doge coin, I was shocked, seeing that my coins were sold in 49 satoshi. I did not remember when I had a sell order. After seeing that I was upset. That was not the first time, before several times, I could not sell many coins at a good price 😞

But finally, an education has realized that if you buy a coin for long or short time, then you should check price minimum one time every day.
At least you learn something about that. But short time trading make trader very stressed especially when they stuck in a coin and out of capital. You can try to do long term trading so don't need to check price everyday.

Oh well that's the only thing you can get out if you lost in this market. You learn when to trade and decide when to buy or sell coins. Its really no secret that majority of us here lost at the beginning of our trading career but it didn't stop us to pursue our goals.

Long term trading is also a good method but its more of a psychological battle. Because I'm sure that you will be tempted one time or another.
6647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the death of Bitcoin also mean the death of cryptomania?? on: September 27, 2018, 04:19:39 PM
Although bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency in the world, there are many coins in the crypto ecosystem. The fall of bitcoin may adversely affect the world of crypto since it has a high influence on the altcoins. I don't think the downfall of one coin can affect the entire crypto world.

But more than 50% of of all investments are in Bitcoin right?

So if may have a positive impact as it may cripple cryptos temporary. And also almost all of the trading pairs is Bitcoin so there's really a influence on crypto verse. However, I don't want to sound to be doom and gloom though, but its really possible that if Bitcoin dead suddenly there will be a dark and empty space for crypto.
6648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP5 reasons why the price of ETH fell so much on: September 25, 2018, 09:04:13 PM
I think we can factor the rise of EOS and the ICO based Ethereum to the downward spiral of ETH. EOS project raised a lot of Ethereum and I'm sure up to this day this still holds millions of Ethereum. Then they become competitor, thus its possible that they intentionally dumping their reserved Ethereuem to pull the price down.
6649  Economy / Economics / Re: Google is ending its sweeping ban on cryptocurrency-related advertising. on: September 25, 2018, 08:20:40 PM
Facebook already made its U-turn months ago. Nothing has changed
So I don't think it will make any difference as well. The only upside is that we are going to see a lot of ads again, Lol and scammers will take advantage of the situation again. We might see ICO increasing in the next couple of months because both legit and scammy projects will have a good exposure once again. But I don't think it will bring any impact on the current situation though.
6650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and is limit, why will use it? on: September 25, 2018, 08:05:31 PM
More or less 21M in total circulation but more than 17 million already mined. I'm not really sure what do you mean by used in economy. But bitcoin can be used as currency or it can act as cross-border payment as well. If people around Asia or Africa prefer to used bitcoin as remittances then it will be a good boost to their economy specially if countries have billions of USD coming from remittances alone.
6651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto a danger or an opportunity? on: September 24, 2018, 10:43:16 PM
I think that some countries see this as salvation, although they are still afraid to take such serious steps. For example, countries under sanctions.

Just like in the case of Venezuela? Yes, they think that crypto will help the government salvage its economy that's why they decided to have their own Petro coins, back up by old. But its seems Maduro was already exposed as there are no real investors, so meaning, no money was being investment. Crypto could be an opportunity if government sees advantage, however, most government chooses to be hostile on crypto because they are afraid of its so called disruptive effect.
6652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Words for beginners on: September 24, 2018, 10:21:09 PM
I think for beginners we must have patience in trading and do not get used to acting with panic selling, because it can be detrimental and make prices go down

Patience is needed not just in crypto market, but all other market that includes assets and commodities. But price fluctuations is more evident in crypto though. That's why panic sellers should always think their decisions multiple times before making that decision to push the sell button.
6653  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar rises in Indonesia, what is the economic fate? on: September 23, 2018, 12:19:10 PM
if i'm not mistaken that Argentina and Malaysia also have the same problem such as Indonesia that their local currency was weaken by dollar but bitcoin price not depending on dollar movement price and it caused by crypto market situations which is not related to economy from other countries so if you're comparing between dollar risses related to crypto market i think you're wrong

So as other South American and other Asian nation as well. But I don't know if the OP relates to crypto as a leverage for this economic disaster. Being a Asian, I just do hope that nothing significant will happen in Indonesia though, I don't want to see another neighbour getting in a economic downfall. If Indonesian wanted to have a hedge then they can probably shift their fiat to bitcoin/crypto and see how this pan out for them.
6654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 7200 on: September 23, 2018, 12:09:04 PM
a little higher it seems, I'm sure in the next price surge the price of bitcoin is able to exceed the previous price surge.
$6200 => $7000
$6400 => $7200
$6800 => Huh

$7600 perhaps? I do hope.

We hope that price will reached again andmaybe better if we see more than 10k dollars after few weeks. I hope before end of this september we see 8k upto 10k dollars. But not guaranteed happen because still high chance to drop again the value of the bitcoin if still have many panic and they sell their bitcoin.

I don't see $10K. I'm pessimistic that it won't be touch this year. Probably $9K could be a good test mark. Right now investors are still on the day trading scheme, so a few bumps here in there in not a indication for a bull run to $10K. I'm even nervous as to what will be the next target because we might see it crumbling down again if ever we hit $7200-$7600 again.
6655  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: September 22, 2018, 03:16:16 PM
Seeing btc going down for quite some time now, I thought people will be withdrawing their investment to shares and others business. But it amaze that btc is gaining more popularity and people are still rushing btc. What is the secret behind btc?

There's no secret. Investors are just getting smarter and they know that bitcoin is the only coin worth pouring your money in this bear market. I'm sure that you have seen alts suffered devastating lost their year and it may continue up to the end of 2018. So it make sense to move your fund out of the altcoin and go to bitcoin market.
6656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting Mega Bull on: September 22, 2018, 10:36:17 AM
yes we are in the time of a BULL but this is not guarantee of anything, only speculation, of course that the BTC fell a lot, but even so for many countries the BTC is very expensive still
CBOE  ETF  once again postponed but it seems it doesn't affect negative to crypto market, instead Bitcoin slowly rise to 6.7k$ is this a sign that negative news was already absurb by the crypto market before and ETF postponement doesn't mind by investors. Are we now entering the bull season? I hope so and xrp are the one leading the run.

Again, it has something to do with investors really fed up and getting tired of waiting from this ETF's. They suddenly decided that since ETF postponed it again, they might as well invest again at around $6300-$6500 as this is a perfect buying opportunity and totally forgot about the SEC decision. We might see it declined anyways, so no need to wait further.
6657  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why Bitcoin Will Hit New Highs - ETF Date August 10th on: September 22, 2018, 10:25:36 AM
I think Bitcoin can be better developed even without ETF support, because Bitcoin always grows along with the blockchain, not the ETF!

This statement is worth to read. Today bitcoin ETF is being postponed and we already see a big growth in the bitcoin price today. People were fearing of EFT rejected and now they know there will be no EFT and therefore no ETF Rejection and this has given positive momentum in the digital world. I wonder long long will this good increase in market cap will go and how will it effect the bitcoin price in the long run.

Because people really gets tired of this so-called ETF's bringing new money to the market place. And those who are waiting for the decision suddenly relieved themselves by investing in the last 48 hours pushing the price significantly higher than expected. For how long, we don't know, this might be a bull trap for all we know.
6658  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: September 22, 2018, 10:14:16 AM
of course I would choose to do the safest thing, and the safest in my opinion is to trade and become a campaign participant who can provide additional capital for your trading and can provide a lot of benefits.

Safest in joining bounty campaign, no money is being invested here expect your time and being active in the forum, no need to cough up cash if you will enter trading. Others join bounty first and when they hold even coins, then they can start with their trading journey to earn more money.
6659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: September 20, 2018, 09:02:53 PM
Just like an account where one's fiat currencies are kept so also is wallet where digital assets or cryptocurrencies of crypto lovers are kept. Can the wallet be vulnerable to hacking and if possible how can that happen? If you have experienced it before, I want to learn from your experience.

Yes, wallet hacks is also prone in crypto verse, here are few examples on how a wallet can be compromised:

1. If you click un-trusted souce. Usually you will get it thru your email, its called Phishing
2. if you click something on the internet.
3. google ads-on for crypto. Sometimes hackers also exploited vulnerabilities on those software
4. you used phishing site. There's a lot of cloned sites that imitate MeW so be careful.
5. Of course sharing your privatekeys to someone.
