6661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 04, 2019, 11:15:38 AM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.

That's the truth and that's what's really happens, investors are tired on investing on new coins, and they just focus on the top coins in the market, last year and this year alone, there are very few projects that prove to be profitable for investors.

Investors cannot go on investing in dubious projects, they will have n choice but to leave ICO and just focus on Bitcoin and the top coins in the market.
6662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 04, 2019, 03:15:14 AM
Bitcoin, the crypto currency, has become huge in popularity over the recent years.

One of the main features i like about bitcoins is its transactions are anonymous. But that makes me wonder if a time will come when it will be banned worlwide. It has started in many countries.

How many countries are banning Bitcoin? I don't see the figure as alarming check out this map and you can see that it's not alarming at all
https://cryptonews.com/guides/countries-in-which-bitcoin-is-banned-or-legal.htm in fact the adoption is moving faster than countries banning Bitcoin.

And these countries that are banning Bitcoin will have a change of mind in the future, Bitcoin is something that we cannot ignore, you can ban facilities that use Bitcoin but not, it's people who adopt it, they will always find a way.
6663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 03, 2019, 05:45:14 PM
In their one on one interview, Spence accused Porter of being a dirty fighter and that's in his face and in return Porter promises he will cut Spence face, this is going to be excited I thought these two fighters are good friends, it turn out they don't like each other at all

Here's the video of that one on one interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SP3IEc3pHIo

But I'm picking Spence over Porter he is good with his job and moves and he has success against a little guy, one example is Spence's last fight against Mikey Garcia.
6664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin's Increasing Market Dominance on: September 03, 2019, 05:23:15 PM
As per Coinmarketcap's data - https://coinmarketcap.com , Bitcoin is steadily gaining market dominance and I want to know what will be its implications or possible repercussions on the crypto-industry? Any ideas?
It could only mean that people are very much into Bitcoin than new altcoins in the market. And the majority of investors in the market preferred to invest in the top coins in the market, with Bitcoin as the number one coin they preferred to keep in their portfolio.

In the last two years, there are not many new coins in the market that has usability in the community, the majority of them are just copy of the existing project or concept, one example is these new exchanges based coin that just comes out of ICO.

6665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 03, 2019, 05:12:39 PM
Martingale is very attractive to use because you will always have a chance to regain your losses, but you will eventually lose, the only circumstances that you are going to win in Martingale are when you have unlimited funds to chase your losses.

I would not recommend martingale to newbies or those with limited funds it's a sure way to lose all your funds.
6666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Bitcoin price increases suddenly. What will happened? on: September 03, 2019, 01:30:29 PM
If Bitcoin price increases suddenly.
Does this change encourage buyers to consider investing in Crypto solutions like ICO platform or Exchange Software Development for their Business?

As an old member and investors, I've used seeing Bitcoin price to spike and drop suddenly, nothing new really, but hopefully, it will not fall 50% of the current price.
If Bitcoin price suddenly jumps they will buy items where they usually used fiat to Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency, but I don't think they are going to invest in ICO platform, right away.

ICO has bad connotations to every investor now, after the so many scam ICO last year and this year, people are very careful in investin gon new coins and the prove is Bitcoin's dominance in the market.
6667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: September 02, 2019, 04:39:20 PM
The counting is still ongoing, and right now the record is 375 I expect this to go on, I'm glad we have a record like this, this record is very important, in the sense that it has become a proof that it stands the test of time, even though it is just ten years old.

Newbies and investors should bookmark this page, I check it often like what I'm doing with Coinmarketcap, to see if they added another list of record, this is a big proof that whatever FUDS and bad news they created, Bitcoin is still strong and moving steadily.
6668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Drop 3% on: September 02, 2019, 03:40:33 PM
In past 24 hours. The prices of both Bitcoin and Ethereum has now fallen by more than 3% in U.S. Dollar.
 1. Bitcoin price drop in daily peak, this dominant cryptocurrency is actually down six percent. BTC at its low in daily volume in steep sell off or 5% to 10% thus tends to see an increase in daily volume.

2. The Ethereum price has experience in similar trend as well as Bitcoin. ETH has dropped $2billion to $1.6 billion by more over 20%.

Is Bottom Far from here?-- Bitcoin

What happen to tokens if ETH drops 35% more?

If they are both dropped their price in the market it means lets avail the chance to buy em while their price was on stage of cheap value.
For me this is a good opportunity and this is normal too before the bull run will come to both coins in the market.

Altcoins is still good Ethereum already drop more than 50%, remember on its all-time high it was traded at over $1000 but now as I'm writing this, they are at $173 just last month they bridge the $200 mark.

Bitcoin and Ethereum drop like 3% has nothing to be concerned about, they are still ok even at 10% drop which happens from time to time, it's highly volatile market and very exciting times, you must always expect the unexpected, most important is you do not put everything here, and you still have a job and business to rely on.
6669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: September 02, 2019, 02:38:38 PM
Yes, gambling can make man destitute at any time. Gambling is just for fun only. Gambling is not a way to make money. I know many people play gambling to earn money. But it should not be done at all. Gambling will have to play for fun. Humor pressure can never be taken if you lose in gambling. Remember gambling is just a simple game that is fun to play. Never invest more money in gambling. If you invest a lot more in gambling then you can be destitute.

Thank you

Gambling can be considered a high-risk investment, much riskier than trading, the worst case is you do not know how and when to stop, there was a time in my life that I've done for a day gambling, but those keep popping in my mind and telling I should have not stopped that early because the next roll could be in my favor, And I was playing for 4 hours already and losing $100 already.

Bitcoin Scammer Stealing $63 Million Brutally Tortured and Murdered by Business Partners...

I read a story like this and simply don't know what to say or think.

How about you guys?

This is alarming, people who are holding a large amount of Bitcoin should secure themselves, and people should not divulge how many Bitcoin they are holding and even top altcoins, they are holding. Cryptocurrency is now a digital gold, and one of the best investment now in our era.

Even if you are holding a small amount, now if it is on a top coin you should not divulge or boast about it, you never know what people will think now they know the true value of Cryptocurrency now and it's future potential.
6671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No matter what i'm sticking with Altcoins on: September 02, 2019, 12:37:00 PM
Nothing good in this world comes easily, with zero obstacles?you are only dreaming

Altcoins are facing hard times because what is coming will be better, hard times is shaking weak minded people off so as not to see whats coming, its a mind trick

99% of people will walk away from bounties and altcoin investment, thats why i am staying,i won't  do what 99% of people are doing or will do, call me crazy cos that's what i am

Crypto is craze and to defect a craze you have to get crazy  Grin

It's your choice and you are not the only one with that choice and you should be respected for that, there are still people in participating bounty hunting and some investors investing in ICO, this is the reason why there are still ICO and IEO in the market, there are new investors coming and there are investors looking for a coin to hype and become their whales.

So don't think you are alone or crazy there are still investors and bounty hunting, honestly, it's quite addicting.
6672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and IEO running at same time for same project on: September 02, 2019, 07:58:28 AM
With the introduction of IEO, there is a great reduction in holding ICO  by the projects.
Even though this is the situation, now a days I have observed that some projects are holding ICO as well as IEO same time. They also don't share the exact amount of funds raised
Isn't it confusing for investors? What are your thoughts? Why projects are using both methods?

It's costly to do IEO on top exchanges, that is why they first held an ICO and the funds they've generate from this crowdfunding will be used to do an IEO for top exchange, where they can get more funds and get more investors to look and support this projects.

Developers know so well that many investors prefer to invest using IEO so they want to do it before they launch their platform, it's a good strategy and I have seen so many projects done it, like Dexage and Adab I think has also done it.
6673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: its time bounty hunters should start taking actions on: September 01, 2019, 03:16:56 AM
Bounty hunters should come together as one from now on to avoid developers and bounty managers that are treating hunters very wrongfully for example many bounty projects ends up breaking their very own made rulesafter bounty ends or even before bounty ends and secondly we need to start RED TAGGING projects account or bounty managers account that did awful things to bounty hunters or not paying bounty hunters fully after bounty ends.

What do you guys say? do you accept or not?

There are two kinds of bounty manager, the independent bounty manager, and the team bounty manager
The independent bounty manager will try to balance both parties, of course, he wants to have positive feedback on bounty hunters communities, because the competition is so stiff, and they don't want to have some sort of boycott on his business.
But he is also working on the campaign and this is where he gets his salary, he will do everything to balance both, because his last campaign will be his best recommendation for the future campaign.

Then we have the own team bounty manager, they work on the project and part of it, although he serves the campaign, he must see to it that there are no reports on their campaign so they will they have the trust of investors.

If both managers are not doing their duty and fulfill their promise they really deserve to get tagged do we have the majority of participants to do that since it will have the risk of not getting their shares.
6674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: August 31, 2019, 02:37:43 PM
Strangely James Bilal Caan claims that he was the founder of bitcoin.. But lost his hard drive.. Is this possible??

What you guys think about James? Why he use this type of statement.. Specially his explanation about his hard drive?

I think you have used the wrong word not the founder but creator, I never had the slightest idea that he is from Asia, but the hard drive issue is unacceptable, I could accept that Satoshi could be dead, but losing his private keys from his hard drive is just too much.

I hope if he is the real Satoshi he'll forgive me but I want to say that he is an idiot, this is such a newbie mistake, when he is creating Bitcoin's code, why did he not create a code or a way that you can retrieve your private keys, he knew all along that losing your private keys means losing all the coins, it should be imprinted in his mind when he made that huge blunder.
6675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Adoption Rate keeps getting better on: August 31, 2019, 02:22:03 PM
Cielo the largest payment processing provider in Brazil, has unveiled support for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency purchases on its point-of-sale (PoS) devices. You can read the full new at cointelegraph.com

https://cointelegraph.com/news/14-million-brazilian-point-of-sale-devices-to-support-crypto-payments/amp

Hopefully crypto mass adoption will keep moving up as expected, this is the only way forward for crypto existence in the future

That's good news but this is only for the top coins in the market, a forward move for Bitcoin and other coins, they've supported, here in our country our local exchanges and payment processing provider can only accept 5 Cryptocurrency.

The top cryptocurrency in the market is now moving to have a big gap over the other coins in the market, I have this feeling that we don't need more coins in the market because of these companies and payment processing provider will only go for the top coins in the market.

3 or 4 years from now we'll seldom see new coin in the market because of the huge gap in the dominance of these top coins.
6676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Has Went to $0 Price? on: August 31, 2019, 11:13:59 AM
You can start your search by looking through the list at https://www.coinopsy.com/dead-coins/

This website is a big help and a good indication of what the Cryptocurrency community has gone through, this is a good source of dead and shitcoins and newbies, investors and bounty hunters should add this to their bookmarked so they can trace if their coin is already added here.

There are 12 names in 579 pages that make it 6948 dead and shitcoins, and many more coming, I hope the admin of that site can keep up with the list, because there are many more coming in the list, like airdrops, ICO, IEO and HYIP coins.
6677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: August 31, 2019, 10:23:49 AM
What do you guys think about China urges to ban all online gambling in Philippines?. One of their reason is that "The embassy said many of the Chinese citizens working illegally in Philippine casinos or POGOs and other forms of gambling entities are subjected to what media described as modern slavery due to severe limitation of their personal freedom and also Beijing welcomed the suspension of the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).

I think it's the obligation of the Chinese government, to restrict their own people from going to the Philippines and working illegally, in the Philippines, there are huge migration of Chinese, in fact, there are areas in the capital of the Philippines that are full of Chinese workers, there are even restaurants and establishment dedicated to Chinese.

They cannot catch and do surveillance to all these Chinese immigrants there are too many of them against only few immigrants agents.

It's good news that the Philippines suspense the issuance of new licenses for Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO).
6678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Says “Bitcoin under $9,500. If you are panicking, you are a fool” on: August 31, 2019, 05:31:52 AM
Well!! Recently, popular crypto face john McAfee tweeted about bitcoin. He Says “Bitcoin under $9,500. If you are panicking, you are a fool”

Source: https://coinpedia.org/news/bitcoin-price-john-mcafee/

What's your take john mcafee's view?

This tweet is for those weak-hearted and newbies who do not analyze the price movement in the last three years, people are very quick to tweet about Bitcoin price dip like what https://twitter.com/PeterSchiff/status/1166810592834969600,  Peter Schiff
@PeterSchiff did but after Bitcoin begins to take move forward, they are very slow to tweet it.

That price is not even alarming compared to what happen 4 to 5 months ago, people should learn by now, that it's not something to worry about, and it's not going to be the first time that's going to happen.

If you are alarmed then either you have invested all your life savings here, did not buy Bitcoin when it was in a bear market, or an educated investor.

6679  Bitcoin / Project Development / Is There A Way To Lock One Address If You Are A Smart Contract Developer on: August 31, 2019, 05:00:41 AM
I'm not a smart contract developer I'm more on investing and bounty hunting
my fellow bounty hunters have experienced their tokens being locked.

And it has become the common practice now because these developers fear of bounty hunters dumping their token
I have 5 tokens locked they are now unlocked but I expect many more tokens coming from bounty being locked.

I would like to know can they locked addresses or only one address where all the bounty tokens come from that address..

Thanks for all those who can give me a good explanation.T
6680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: August 30, 2019, 05:08:45 PM
Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage

Bitcoin is already ten years old, the question, if this is a bubble waiting to explode, is already over, people just have to read these recoded time table when people think Bitcoin is dying https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/.

There will be investors that will do an exit for profit, we have seen that happens so many times, just when Bitcoin is moving forward, investors will sell their coins that they bought at the floor price to make a profit, it's natural and it's been a practice, but that does not mean that they are going out and abandoning Bitcoin, they still have more of it, for another future profit, this is how whales make a profit .
