Scam is a global issue even before crypto, I think some is just saying that crypto is all scam since it's done in the internet. And as we all know scam normally happened using the internet thus, most people think it's scam. I think whether it's crypto or not, scam is inevitable because scammers just can't get off their hands to easy money.
Scammer did scams with fiat and bank accounts etc and now they are scamming crypto also. Everything which has a value is subjected to be exploited by the scammers. Saying that scam are only because of crypto is wrong. I believe scams can be dealt with without centralized system or authority but rather with decentralized anti-scam measures.
I wouldn't care too much if the regulators go after the centralized cryptocurrency platforms though. They are not very transparent and can be easily abused.
No matter we have centralized or decentralized systems, scammer and hackers are intelligent enough to scam us. It is our duty to take preventive measures and be alert. |

Lol, some people are really funny, they don’t invest when there is time, they only try to jump in when the market starts to go up and they think the bull run has started. Anyone who is using his or her senses should have known that the market has been at the bottom ever since its price became stable. They are now trying to get in as the price moved up, so what are you going to do if falls back? This is the basic sentiment in the market. Everyone want to jump in the running train and no one wants to buy when the prices are low or cheap. Two / three months back people were hesitant to invest in bitcoin when its price was 3000-3500$ and now when it is about to cross the 6000$, they are asking should we invest ? I am sure that they will not invest and keep on waiting till prices are too high. Then they will fomo and buy when the prices are at a peak. |

I think this is related also to a cultural concept. E.g. ONEcoin Scam was really hyped by people from poor country. How can some one spend a lot of time, effort and resources, without receive a sure profit? it's really hard, even if you don't have enough resources and lack of economic education. Otherwise Onecoin was advertised as "be rich" scheme and we all know what is the results of these type of project  Poor country does not mean that the people living there are out of their mind. They should use their mind and should the difference between real crypto coins and the scam coins like OneCoin etc. I have seen people claim onecoin to the next bitcoin. IF you already rich whats the point of taking on all the additional risk that crypto provides. If I was a billionaire I would keep my money in solid investments like property and companies. Going for really high risk investments is more for poor people since they don't have much to lose.

Tier is a good thing but they should make it more transparent. Let 12 teams stay in tier one, hold worldcup with them. The lower two teams should relegate to the 2nd tier and the top 2 of the 2nd tier get their chances to the first. Same should be done with test cricket also. There should be no permanent privilege for any teams.
Why shouldn't teams get permanent privileges? They deserve such privileges completely and this applies to every single sport in the world. Some teams are just better than other teams at the end of the day and that will always stay true due to multiple factors like experience etc. No one deserve permanent privilege. For example, look at Zimbabwe. They are still having the test status, despite performing below par for more than a decade now. IMO, there are far better teams out there, which deserve test status. On top of that because of their test status they receive 10 times more funding from the ICC, when compared to the other teams such as Nepal and Netherlands. I don't agree. As I said, established teams deserve their permanent privileges due to their performances over time. I mentioned established teams specifically and I never talked about Zimbabwe which was never a good Cricket team to begin with. I guess we need to agree to disagree here. Though being an interesting event, one of the reasons why cricket hasn't established itself as a global sport is the privilege system. Unlike other world cups, they have no to small qualifiers and a small number of teams compete. They are mostly concentrated around the commonwealth and is slow in adoption anywhere else. I believe there is only some sites that I can recommend it here cause some of it does have some bad history. Cryptocurrency intelligence firm reported that CipherTrace’s Q3, 2018, cryptocurrency thefts had already reached $927 million.
Previously CipherTrace second-quarter report said, the company identified that there were more thefts during the first half of 2018 compared to the entire year of 2017 alone. We all know how beneficial it is for us to have a currency like Bitcoin , something that we can use without any interference and without any middle man, but there is always a problem with things that we usually unsee because of the huge benefits it earns to us and this time it's environmental pollution.
Bitcoin as we know it requires mining to continue it's supply , but the thing is mining consumes Tons of energy and thus makes it harder for us to cope up with the stress it is putting up on the environment.
Pollution, global warming Bitcoin is causing all this , one might argue that it won't be necessary after a while but what about right now ? It's hurting the environment and we have no stable solution for this.

I don't think any of your argument is valid. Bitcoin mining uses a lot of energy but if you look around almost everything uses electricity and energy to run. You cannot say that global warming or environmental pollution is only because of Bitcoin. It is the industries around the world who are producing wastes which is gathering up in the form of global warming. Bitcoin mining contribution is almost none as compare to other industry. |

Actually, I used to play those games (Bingo and Tong-its, as well as Poker), too with my relatives especially my cousins. I think I was still in grade school that time when they taught me how to play such. But we don't gamble, we just play. I call it 'playing' rather than 'gambling' because for me, a thing only becomes gambling when there is money and betting involved.
Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with playing those with your relatives or your parents even. But there should be self-control, discipline so that you would know your limits; you'll know when to stop. And it's a good thing that you don't want to expose your future children with such. Just give them other valuable and knowledgable items to play with.
Playing gambling with friends and cousin is ok but idea of gambling with parents is not easy digest.
