6761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: August 19, 2019, 02:06:50 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

All exchanges have an option to secure your account like two-factor authentication, email verifications, or text verification, there is no way for the hacker, to hack your account if your account is fully secure.
people should educate himself on how to secure his computer, his wallet and his account on exchanges before accumulating coins, this is a must or you will find yourself with nothing left.
6762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creator and Developer Gone on: August 19, 2019, 01:37:11 PM
There are so many cryptocurrencies in the market.

If one day the creators and developers of any of these currencies die or bancrupt, what will happen to the currencies? What will happen to the coins we have? Are the coins we have still worth anything?

If these tokens are backed by companies, then the second developer can takeover or they can vote to nominate a new leader, it's not a one-man team, if it is a coin, any developer can take over the coin and the community, I have seen one coin, just got  out of extinctions because a new developer takes over the coin, as long as the token has nodes and the block explorer is still working, any developer can do take over.
6763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you Bother of the latest Cryptocurrency price drop? on: August 19, 2019, 10:49:26 AM
The latest CryptoMarketCapitalization drop was surprised us all and most of the altcoins price was also drop deeper, if these trend will continue im afraid that the anticipated Bullrun wont happen in 2019. My million dollar question is whats the cause of these huge drop again in cryptocurrency prices? can these bring any harm to the crypto-market momentum.

People should not be bothered at all, Bitcoin at $10,700 we are in a better position than we are 8 months ago at $3700 that's a big leap if you are a buying big time at that level, but if you are just buying right now you have the right to be bothered, these apply to all altcoins I'm just giving example on Bitcoin's performance in the last 8 months.

Because Bitcoin's performance also reflects how the altcoins perform in the market.

6764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: August 18, 2019, 05:43:39 AM
They both have their advantages and disadvantages

Old Bounties
1.You will have more confidence promoting the project because there is more higher chances of getting paid.
2. You can keep for long term since theyve been around for awhile so you dont have to worry about project exiting scam anytime.
3. They are already listed on many exchanges and you dont have to hold them in your wallets for a very long time like many new projects
4.Payouts and rewards are extremely very low,ive earned 10$ for promoting a old bounty project for weeks.

New Bounties
1. New bounties are plague with one delay after another.
2. You might hold tokens or coins for more than a year due to not getting listed on exchanges very soon
3. The tokens or coins might be useless or find out the project is scam since many new projects are mostly scam or shit projects
4. Lots of work is required when doing research on new projects than already existing old projects
5. New bounties always brings the highest profits as per details derived from hunters.

What do you guys have to say about my post? Am i making any sense or not?

Makes sense to me I always prefer old bounties because it guarantees rewards, compares to new bounties, where there are uncertainties if you are going to get your coins, and if you are going to get it at the right time I still have some coins that I haven't received until now and it's almost 7 months.

And of course, you have no idea of the price of the token, because you will wait to wait for months or even a year to see the price and if it is higher or lower from the actual price of the coin.

Old bounties have clear advantages over new ones, that is why bounty hunters will always choose old bounties to new bounties.
6765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 18, 2019, 05:25:29 AM
I never expected anything to be easy maybe thats why i dont get worried about present market price

The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement  like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens, the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain, its never going to be that easy.

We are in a better position than what we were, four or five months when the market is at it's the lowest price, but the market is still dropping from time to time, like the recent exit scam on one Ponzi scheme, the market has a mix reactions on what's happening in the industry.

We will soon have another all-time high, experts are predicting but if we are trading and investing for a long time, we know that good news will deliver just through another all-time high, and we have a lot of good news now than bad news.
6766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun Claims to Create a Better Blockchain World on: August 18, 2019, 04:54:35 AM
Founder of Tron Justin Sun tweeted saying, All he wants is to create a better Blockchain world. He also asked users what’s the next Dapp you would want to see in the future?

What's your take on this?

He is a man of vision, Tron holders and supporters are so lucky to have him as their developer, he is every news in the community, and he contributed a lot to the publicity of Cryptocurrency and of course, his own coin Tron, remember the Buffet Lunch.

With this announcement, we will see more of Sun and his coin Tron and I will not be surprised if we see Tron climbing in the top 5 of the market.
6767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 18, 2019, 04:17:16 AM
hello friends .. I have returned, the holiday did not make me calm, fully still thinking of losses at that time. .
well now I started a new business in the real world, exactly 20 days after the incident I managed to collect about $ 600, I plan to make up for my losses at that time.
is there anyone who can give me advice, to cover my losses at that time?

invest?
suggest me a decent coin for investment. bitcoin, ethereum, xrp and so on

gambling?
where should I start? whether here
- https://SweetBet.com

or trade again
an exchange that you think has complete features and functions, and what coins are good for trading with a capital of $ 600?

if I lose I will accept the risk, I'm not a weak person, I'm trying to find myself here! Defeat must be paid with victory .. I still remember that someone who is serious will definitely produce sweet fruit ..

#thanks you
If you are looking to regain your losses I will not recommend gambling sites, it's much more preferable to invest in a proven coins in the market, for long term profit, that $600 will go a long way if you only invest it in the top 3 coins in the market, profit is not big if you look at it short term, but it's probably the safest among the three.

If you want to go in this direction I recommend bethash, they offer a lot of features for gamblers and investors, they offer staking your coin there, profit sharing and they are using transaction hash for their betting, make them one of the transparent gambling site in the industry.
6768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some bounty managers have no experience on: August 18, 2019, 03:10:48 AM
If they already run a few bounties in the past, they should have enough experiences handling these concern, if the particular bounty manager you don't want to mention, do not listen to your concern which is to ask bounty participants to do a proof of authentication, then both manager and bounty hunters will face issues of double submission and scammers exploiting the spreadsheets.

I will not participate in a campaign that has no verification, because scammers are on a look for spreadsheets to exploit.
6769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting feature at exchange on: August 18, 2019, 02:54:33 AM
Maybe its not the first topic, but I can't find a topic regarding this issue.

Guys, what you think about betting feature at the exchange?
As far as I know, exchangers are a place for traders, not gamblers.

Today I got an official email from TOPBTC about that feature.
TopBTC has been widely released after the launch of the beta version of HashBet online games
Interestingly, TOPBTC users can enter the feature without register.

So, will this feature make new visitors/users increase? Or it will make trader annoying?

TopBtc is the first exchange that integrates betting features, and I find this cool and I don't think traders will be annoyed by this additional feature, for one I'm pretty sure they will create a separate page for this, or they can opt to use a subdomain for their betting.

Either way, it has a positive effect on traders who can spend time while waiting for a good price to trade.
This is something new if successful, we will see other exchanges doing the same thing.
6770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a movie about Bitcoin on: August 18, 2019, 02:19:51 AM
^
Bitcoin Heist is a movie you can watch but I do not think many people watched it and it had much popularity. The actor and actress were not much recognized.

A Hollywood movie will do the job with some A graded actors. Thing is that do they have any producer/writer who is interested in Bitcoin?

It's a Thai movie I'm looking for one that has an English translation, I'd like to see how Bitcoin was used as a story plot in this movie, I think a Hollywood version will be good, it's an action-suspense movie.

Some movies have been already made and released.
You can watch "The bitcoin Gospel" in this film, the development of bitcoin and also replacing of fiat by bitcoin is discussed.

Thanks for posting this one, it's a documentary but we need something that has a plot that will revolve around the use of Bitcoin and how it can help people, these two movies are not really popular until we really need one created by the top production companies in Hollywood.
6771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / We need a movie about Bitcoin on: August 17, 2019, 06:04:57 PM
I remember four years ago when a project was launched asking to get funded through ICO, the team were asking to get funded so they can create a movie about Bitcoin which will star prominent actors and actresses, but the project was a big failure because they cannot present their identity and their credentials in making a movie, they cannot even present their past movie projects.

Now it's 2019 and so many things happen in Cryptocurrency, the news is everywhere and it becomes very popular on four corners of the world.
Don't you think these big production company like Warner Bros, Universal and Netflix should do a movie about Bitcoin?

Not really a documentary, but any kind of genre, like action, horror, comedy I think if the story and the plot is good, it could make a box office
What do you think and who do you want to star if ever?

This could create massive publicity for Bitcoin.

6772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: August 17, 2019, 05:04:32 PM
Over the past months, Bitcoin has been rising in market dominance at a fast pace. Altcoins have been on a constant decline in price ever since the bear market began back in 2018. They've been the ones which suffered the most, while Bitcoin has obtained greater prominence within the crypto market.

Which is why, it wonder me wonder why Bitcoin's market dominance have been rising so fast? What could be the cause of this? Will altcoins die soon, as a result of Bitcoin dominating the whole market? Or will they still survive?

So far, Bitcoin has gained the attention of people within the mainstream world, especially since it's one of the most limited cryptocurrencies in supply with an outstanding development team. The Lightning Network is its most interesting feature yet, leaving many wondering if it will render altcoins obsolete. If this indeed happens, then Bitcoin would effectively centralize the whole crypto market. What are your thoughts about this? Huh
The Lightning Network will streamline altcoins that will stay and go, developers are creating new coins in the market in the hope of being an alternative for Bitcoin, in terms of fee and transactions speed, and some developers are creating new coins for their product, in the hope that people will be interested in their coin because of their products, one example is Binance Coin, which is performing pretty good in the market.

Bitcoin dominance is growing because of the full trust of the community, investors think that for the cryptocurrency to gain recognition, Bitcoin should be recognized first and foremost as the leading Cryptocurrency.
6773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to find a GOOD team for new crypto? on: August 17, 2019, 04:21:16 PM
If someone had an idea for a coin with a purpose, where would be the best place to get help? If it's a good idea, that's just the beginning.  Getting it done before someone else does it would be nice.  That is assuming it hasn't been done.  Who can keep up these days?

If you are looking for a developer to materialize your idea, the best place to look is on Github, on this forum, and on Fiverr, I don't like Linkedin, although you can see projects posting their team Linkedin profile, they do not have a KYC there you can post any credentials that you can think of.

On Github : You can check the repository of their previous works
On Fiverr:    of course you can see their feedback and sample of their works
Bitcointalk You can easily tell how good they are by the way they post and communicate.
6774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: August 17, 2019, 03:13:54 PM
Great to stumble this one-year-old thread and the question is very much relevant as long as we have new coins doing ICO, my answer is as long as you've done good research as long as you check the scam section and the project has no report there.
As long as you know the people behind them, they are real people, they do webinar and Youtube live stream you hear them talk and see them explaining about the project.

As long as they offer a very good concept, definitely you should invest when they have a concept as great like Ethereum,
If all I've mentioned are all there, by all means, go and invest, but only invest what you can afford to lose, it's an old saying that always applies under all condition.
6775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is one of the reason why Bitcoin and Ethereum price not growing as expected on: August 17, 2019, 02:13:48 PM
This may not be the reason for dumping because if we see the other side icos also create demand for btc and eth because everyone that will participate will have to buy and deposit btc and eth so that creates demand and i do not see serious projects sell all their btc and eth holdings quickly rather they exchange them as required.

If you compare good projects to scam projects, scam projects are outnumbering good projects and they always do exit scam after getting their fund, dumping their Eth and Bitcoin for Fiat.

But isn´t it good for the whole ecosystem? It helps the adoption because startups creating diffrent blockchain solutions and help the whole industry to grow.
Like apps on Android - more apps make Android more useful.

But some of the projects and concepts are just copy of past and existing projects, just take a look at the recent ICO's that uses an exchange model as their projects, so many of these ICO's are having a hard time launching their exchange, because they do not have something new and unique to offer, so they can't generate enough support.
6776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / This is one of the reason why Bitcoin and Ethereum price not growing as expected on: August 17, 2019, 12:45:40 PM
One of the reasons that Bitcoin and Ethereum's prices are not growing is the so many ICO and IEO in the market,we all know that Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the coins being used to purchase their coin, the developers of these ICO and IEO after getting funded are quick to sell their coin, pushing the price of the market to go down.

If there are no new ICO and IEO in the market I think the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum will stabilize and increase.
What's your thought am I right or wrong?
6777  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had $100 in what would you invest? on: August 17, 2019, 11:55:19 AM
If you had $100 in what would you invest?

$100 is such a small amount I would not even think and invest everything on Bitcoin if I want moderate earnings and if I am an aggressive type, I'll go for a gambling site like Bethash or Onehash and try my luck there.

If I am a newbie and just want to try Cryptocurrency for the first time, I'll just go for the top 4 coins in the market and start from here.
Honestly, it's hard to decide if you have a very small amount because here in Cryptocurrency you will hardly feel the profit with a small amount.
6778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi to "Reveal Idenity" on August 18th on: August 17, 2019, 02:18:01 AM

No, I don't believe in these so-called press release, if he is going to reveal himself again, he will do it here in Bitcointalk, this is real community this is where everything starts, and if he chooses to announce elsewhere, he will first announce it to give credibility to that press release.

All Satoshi Nakamoto's news are great news and companies and press release agencies are abusing this to gain a lot of traffic and subscribers.
on second thought it will harm their reputation if they present a fake one, I hope it's not Roger Ver, again?
6779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum getting old? on: August 17, 2019, 01:27:38 AM
Ethereum had a large prominence within the crypto space since launch, due to its flexibility for developing decentralized applications and launching ICO tokens. During 2017, Ethereum gained a lot of traction where it had massive transaction activity within its Blockchain network. This was largely attributed towards the rise of ICO's popularity, as well as, Blockchain-based games like CryptoKitties. While those times where exciting, everything came to an end as soon as transaction speeds became lower and fees spiked due to high network load.

After that, the ICO craze was no more, and people stopped using Ethereum more thoroughly. With the rise of other smart contract platforms with better speeds and lower fees than Ethereum, most developers and businesses have shifted towards well-known competitors of ETH. Now, many people are waiting for the PoS consensus upgrade to take effect, but developers continue to delay the same. After so many delays, it seems to me that Ethereum is starting to get old. The hype is over, and people are not so excited about ETH as they used to be within its early days.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Huh

I don't think that's the case, let's break it down.
Ethereum is only four years old it is still a young technology and so many things are still coming up like the PoS consensus upgrade like what you mentioned.
ICO does not have an impact at all, because we now have IEO and STO and companies still prefer Ethereum the volume will speak for itself
If people are losing excitement then how come the volume is still there and I still see some ICO and IEO accepting Ethereum, it's still preferable
I wonder how many people stopped using Ethereum, gambling sites, crowdfunding sites and online stores still accept Ethereum
6780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 03:09:03 PM
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I just lost all my coins called Hashcoin in  Bethash my Hashcoins  comes from bounty campaign, the game is very fair
Quote
all winning numbers of EOSHASH games are generated using the latest EOS transaction hash, a sequence of numbers and letters produced by the 21 EOS block producers.
I think the game is very fair it's just I cannot keep up with my greed I am doing my bet manually so I can manage my wins and losses, but there is always a point that you want to quickly earn more coins, and this is where the trouble comes in.
You will always reach to the point that you want enough winnings but you think you found a good strategy that you want to keep on, maybe because of mental fatigue but greed is the main factor.
