6781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 08:49:06 PM
the plot thickens when you get more involved in th history of bitcoin.

after satoshi departure. there were dozens of devs all running and tweaking their nodes to do fascinating things and following a consensus set of rules that only changed and followed a new path if the majority all had the new rules ready to activate. an could activate without disruption to the majority.

but by 2013. one group decided they wanted to be the core of the network and be the reference client that others should follow their plan of action. they kicked out a few devs and added in moderation policies to rule out some proposed feature changes unless it met their desires.
this group highly promoted their certain plan for the future and even done mandatory comply or go to other network ploys.

so although you feel excited while researching 2009-2010 that you found the red pill to exit the banking matrix.
but you will soon come across the next phase where theres now a new rabbit-hole promoting a wonderland.. but this wonderland are new networks that are banker-esq. because the reference client devs are saying that bitcoin is broke and cant scale and the only future are these alternate networks of co-signatures and watchtowers and fortknox-esq factories.

so its all trying to go full circle and back under a currency control where people need other people authorisation to make payments. because a certain group wants people to think bitcoin and blockchains dont work

Yeah. But wait. I cannot get that all inside my head. i need to absorb one at a time.  Grin

One question though. This plot that you are talking about. Satoshi is not there anymore right? or a part of it?
It is like they are dividing what Satoshi had left so they will have the control?
6782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 07:36:53 PM
read the message in the genesis block for the answers of why he wanted to create it

he left because he didnt want to be the decision maker/ruler/person that reviews and votes/vetos rules. he wanted to leave it to the community to do using consensus.
he basically started realising people were relying on his decisions too much

Thanks franky.
I am trying to search for it now.
Maybe I am just too overwhelemed with whatever I found out about this world controlled by the rich people or whoever started the fiat currency.

Edit: so this might be it.

Quote
This detail, "second bailout for banks" could also suggest that the fact a supposedly liberal and capitalist system, rescuing banks like that, was a problem for satoshi . . . the choosen topic could have a meaning about bitcoin s purpose . . .
6783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 07:08:21 PM
Bitcoin is created to correct errors of a centralized system. Cross border fees were altered when bitcoin comes into picture. The anonymity when doing peer-to-peer transactions online. I guess those are the main reasons why satoshi invented this technology but for me satoshi hit 2 birds in just one bullet since his invention blockchain has lots of uses to different business sectors worldwide.

So why the sudden disappearance?
It is not just about the question in the title here.
There is more into the first post of the starter. Stop making non sense like that. Being lazy to read the whole posts of the OP.
6784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 06:30:33 PM
So the question is why?
For someone to create something he must have a will to do it. He must have found something which is wrong with the currency that we are using now specially USD.

It is not written in his whitepaper.
Yes, it is:
What is needed is an electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust, allowing any two willing parties to transact directly with each other without the need for a trusted third party.

Behind that?

Sorry I am having a hard time to explain it.
But when you create an airplane you have a real reason behind it. Like you want transportation to be faster or to go behind the border lines.
Because you have the experience of 3 days of travel which ached your back and you want change.
6785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin? on: September 28, 2018, 06:17:12 PM
I have been reading a lot of documentaries in the internet (maybe a little bit of too much) Grin

So the question is why?
For someone to create something he must have a will to do it. He must have found something which is wrong with the currency that we are using now specially USD.

It is not written in his whitepaper.
So what could it be?

Suddenly after a successful programming and all the editing he have done which could be seen in this forum he vanished.
Is there a threat to his life?

Roth - when you google it one word or name suddenly pops out.

The Rothschild family is a wealthy Jewish family descending from Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744–1812), a court factor to the German Landgraves of Hesse-Kassel in the Free City of Frankfurt, Holy Roman Empire, who established his banking business in the 1760s.

500 trillion worth. This goes on to their family from centuries ago until now.
Could they be a reason behind the sudden disappearance of Satoshi?
He is creating a currency where no one controls it. He became a threat. It could be a possibility.

Am I just full of imagination or it could be a possibility?
Please let me hear your opinions.
6786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: September 28, 2018, 01:26:43 PM
I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

It is a choice.
If you just joined something for airdrop then you might really reconsider. But if you knew what you are going in then it is a must. KYC's proves also that they could be a legitimate company considering they are willing to undergo this kind of rules.
There is a chance they are doing this for their company to keep on going.
Now if it is a scam then do be careful. They might be taking all your documents for an evil purpose.

So it goes back to the start. Did you really resesrched the legality of that company?
6787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 27, 2018, 08:53:41 PM
Lakers would have a great season this time due to the LBJ addition in the line-up but it seems hard for them to make it to the finals because GSW is packed with superstars hungry for a title.
Warriors are not hungry for the title. It's just that they are composed of good role players and their strong chemistry that started to build years ago are now still in action. It's difficult to destroy even they will matched with a championship caliber team.

What we can expect is, Lakers surely will have a chance to finally end their absence in playoffs. People are not expecting that they will go into finals or even for a conference finals so not a big deal after all if they will not reached it.
I agree with this. In addition, their coach is also a good coach even in his first year. When he handled GSW, the team became a playoff contender team. They have good chemistry since they are playing for along time. That is what I want in Warriors. They don't change their players too much and if they will, they will trade their bench players and not their star players.

The Finals appearancr streak of LBJ will end now. I don't see Lakers playing in the NBA Finals now but they can clinch on the playoffs.

We don't know that yet. I have seen how Lebron have pushed the players when he is on one team.
Somehow there is something with Lebron that makes other players be good too or could be just looking good because of his presence.

He hates losing. So maybe there is a chance again to go to the Finals. I aint saying it will happen but with his ability he might just have a shot although their chemistry needs to improve first.
6788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price prediction for next 24 hour. on: September 27, 2018, 07:57:58 PM
It is not a random number in any sense, in fact, it is based on based on simple support and resistance levels. I do not want to sound offensive like you but you are generalizing it way too much.
Just wait and watch. Let the truth came out by itself.

Can we see how you make that prediction?
You say you have a basis of support and resistance levels?

Might as well share it on this thread, to look like it should be believed in right?
That simple kind of posts will just be ignored by users here.

No offense too. Just want to make sense of where it came from.  Cheesy
6789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get carried away! on: September 27, 2018, 06:30:31 PM
You are right the best time in crypto is when market is down, its a good opportunity to get hold of some coins which you believe it will yield good profit when the market boom again but out of panic you see people most especially the beginners dumping their coins that supposed to of huge profit to them in the nearest future.

Yes patience is one key now. With the amount of people dragging new investors into hell it will be hard. Making FUD and speculations which do not have basis just so they could dump the price again. Who would buy afterwards? Those who made the FUD are really the buyers.
Wise but evil.

If one decides to make rich from small capitalization, it is necessary to follow seriously and definitely have to choose coin with real platform application, not buying rambling because many coin will disappear over time.
If you do not have time to watch or experience FA analysis (the basic value of coin) then it is best to hold to the moon blue coin.

Correct. That is why I do believe in those ICO company that are not going by what traders want. Listing early and neglecting the road map. They cannot be that weak to grant the wish of traders but rather ask those who are really invested with them.
A lot of ICO did this making their coins depreciate in just a manner of time. Why? Traders win with manipulating the price.
6790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2018, 05:08:09 PM
The person in the story said himself that crypto is a new field, what did he expect? It's obvious that there will be higher risks and you need to study thoroughly, anyway don't get depressed, the situation still might change, hope his family will be ok

Same thing I said in one of the members of the telegram group I joined.
Crypto currency is still young at this age. People still do not see it much. Mostly people who are working using the internet knows this. How about those other workers? They do not even have any idea what crypto or bitcoin is.
So we could really say that we are not even in the middle of it.

He's knowledge is not sufficient that's why he lose all of his investment. In the story he doesn't research or study anything how cryptocurrency works, he relies only in news that people become millionaire in crypto. It is true that some people become millionaire but the question is how they do it? He trades without any knowledge about trading i think it's his fault.

Could be. But that is what crypto is, taking the risk. Cause if he did not really knew that then he should have just stayed with banks with annual interest.

Yeah.
Why do they keep on saying that.
Those are efforts and hardwork they have done. They are not edited from a game to get 99 per stat. Grin

GSW is not a team that is unbeatable and I know players from other teams knew that.
They are just composed and with discipline when in game and their eyes are always on the target, which is the Championship.
6792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think ICO is necessary? on: September 26, 2018, 11:13:42 PM
Well you did analyzed, researched and whatever it is you must do with bitcoin without ICO right?
You could do it without it.

Actually it is the opinion of other people which I like most with this ICO's and also giving chance to those who cannot fund their genius ideas.

It is normal with a corrupt kind of a government. This kind of people are not being heard but here they are seen by just showing what good features their projects will be.
6793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2018, 08:56:24 PM
I bet there is a lot of story just the same as this one.

FOMO happened and next is sh1t.
Looking at how fast the growth bitcoin had last year, it will really make you think to jump in and try to get some thousands of dollars.
After getting in that mark, the greed also increases. They want more.
Looked at twitter accounts of famous people in the crypto world saying it will increase more to 50k USD.
Again greed came in and they dont sell.

Until sh1t happens again.

But just a question for those kind of people. Did you really invest all of your savings? That is where the wrong decision started.
6794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting events to bet on in September/October on: September 26, 2018, 07:22:20 PM
NBA regular season will be on October 16, 2018.
Better mark that in your calendar.

http://www.nba.com/article/2018/08/09/nba-schedule-2018-19-revealed-official-release

There will be a lot of bets that will be coming since the players had been shuffled. Some injured players are also back in their healthy body which could make odds wild. This could be the best times to bet since it is just the start and no one can predict it yet.
6795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give your opinion about the current market and future on: September 26, 2018, 05:25:50 PM
What is your opinion on the current market? Good day coming soon For traders because of major coins are in oversold position. Just need some good news. It's time to buy  Ethereum, Bitcoin and others coin

Buying of ETH is done for me after it went down below $200. I think that was $187 when I bought it.
Holding is my strategy so I am still waiting for a better profit. $240 came but it did not take long so I dont really have the time to trade it.
For now, patience is needed.

I do think the current market is just fluctuation at a low scale. Unlike last year, where the graph is like an ICU monitor that keep on going up and down until now.
6796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers on the rampage again, 59M $ Stolen on: September 26, 2018, 04:03:08 PM
True and I hope we have learned from the recent hacks that had happened with exchanges. Never, ever leave anything huge in an exchange. Just the exact amount for trading will be good. Profits should always go back to a cold storage.

Since they are being regulated by their government I dont think this is one of those inside jobs that had happened with other exchange.
A little movement might happen after a week or two, the market doesnt react that instant.
6797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 26, 2018, 12:40:51 PM
I didn't followed Davis much but I think this season it's a must.

Correct me if im wrong, are you talking about Anthony Davis?
Ive passed through a post in google sports news about AD switching team, and thus meeting up with Lebron's agent. Not sure about that, I havent read the whole content lol.

Im sure the Lakers will become a team to beat in the west next year, as they will be adding up pieces (including Leonard). If AD will sign to the Lakers, then it will be fun to watch the games between the powerhouse teams in the west.

Again with the super team.

They are adding more superstars in just one team.
Wishing the rookies will have a different view.

Powerhouse teams.
It is not fun anymore. Like just waiting for the playoffs cause we already know what teams will be there.
I guess NBA should take that off and try to balance it for more entertainment and also for fun since it wont be predictable that much.

Since they are still looking for new ways to increase their profit, they also need viewers even with the lowest ranking team.
6798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 25, 2018, 08:59:16 PM

I just do not like it when they are putting toO much power in one team just for the purpose of a championship.
Still I want a balanced NBA just so it would be unpredictable to see who the champion will be.

This is not just for my own kind of purpose.
We are seeing no bets anymore since the odds are always higher with the West and I didnt even profit much from last year.
They want some handicap and who would agree with that?

Although I have teams that I want to win, the goal is to make every game as fun as possible.
This is actually true which i dont really understand why some people do really like to presume or putting up strong players into one team and as you said there would be no such balance if thats the case and the thrill we do seek on basketball games will surely be vanished because we do somehow already anticipate on whose gonna win since we do know the line-up. It would really be much better on the current way where
good players would just still remain and theres no need for a collaboration.

True.
Are they making it like a computer game?  Grin

Specially here. We are at a gambling discussion thread and analysis about teams will help a lot to those who are betting for every game.
Who will you bet for if almost all the posts here are in just one team or in one side.
Predicting already the winner even if the game haven't started yet.
Like last year, it is like 90 percent of people already knew that it will be GSW which really happened.
So those who want to bet with Houston or Cleveland are already shaking even before the Finals started.

There is no fun anymore. No one wants to bet because of the greater odds of winning from the super team that they created.
6799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: September 25, 2018, 07:34:12 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks

I have seen most of the users here are looking for cheap altcoins. You should have input that if you are willing to pay a large capital or not. Or maybe include the budget that you have.
As of now I have seen they are using Ripple to create profit and also EOS which is new and having a lot of support from a lot of people.

Now, it is your decision. One more option is an ICO starting company. They give like 10 percent more to the early birds but there is no assurance that they will hit the price that they want when listed in an exchange.
6800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency? on: September 25, 2018, 05:18:54 PM
Ain't this the same as questions for trusting new ICO's which are already asked here for so many times?

Well, they are the ones who are creating new tokens by now. Mostly.
I do not see any projects anymore which relies on staking or mining. I think that kind of idea have been buried because of the ICO that came out.

As to trust issues, checking the team behind it should be the main purpose. See their legitimacy or if they are real people. A video chat would help.
For its market, if it will bloom or not. Check their whitepaper and the roadmap.
