Video: Rand Paul will Filibuster the Debt Ceiling | Fox News https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCScmGmdxyYAlso on CNN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmZg51Ndw8sSays this is the biggest news story of our time right now, domestically of course. There's a test vote to invoke cloture at 1 am but I doubt most of the old farts will be awake at that point. Rand spoke briefly this afternoon but is likely coming back tonight and going for broke.

Rand Paul Is Right: The Fed Is Increasing Inequality With Its Low RatesLast night’s Republican debate was supposed to be about economic policy, but instead it was, once again, more about moderators asking gotcha questions. A few candidates managed to get in mentions for their tax plans, entitlement reform or over-regulation, but for the most part we learned little because the questions didn’t seem designed to educate the viewers about the candidate’s ideas for moving the country forward. There was, however, a great moment of economic clarity, thanks to Rand Paul, on the surprisingly overlooked role the Fed has played in increasing economic inequality. Virtually all economists agree that the Fed’s low interest rates have been responsible for inflating stock market values. By reducing the returns to savings accounts, certificates of deposit and bonds, the Fed has intentionally driven ordinary investors to increase their investment allocation to the stock market, thereby boosting stock returns. Because people with more wealth tend to own more stock, those higher stock prices have led the rich to gain much more than the poor and middle class. Low interest rates have meant low borrowing costs for large corporations with direct access to capital markets. This low-cost borrowing has boosted corporate profits which also flow mostly to the wealthy. ... http://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffreydorfman/2015/10/29/rand-paul-is-right-the-fed-is-increasing-inequality/

Rand Paul to Donald Trump: ‘Get out of the race’BOULDER, Colo. -- Taking full advantage of a restive and swollen debate press corps, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) held a brief roundtable with supporters at the University of Colorado, then indulged a media question about Donald Trump's sagging poll numbers. "I think maybe he should get out of the race," Paul said. The students, organized by the Ron Paul-founded Young Americans for Liberty, had no horse race questions. Rand Paul, accompanied by his wife, Kelley, sat between a dozen or so libertarians, a wall of cameras, and a few more students listening intently. (Not everyone in the dining yard was so interested; one student could be told telling a reporter that his name was "Hunter S. Thompson.") The senator, who has trumpeted that his organization on campuses -- Students for Rand -- has passed 300 chapters, stuck mostly to his familiar patter about the need to reform the Republican Party and roll back the state. He harked back to a back-and-forth in an earlier debate, when New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a GOP presidential rival, said he'd end Colorado's experiment with legal marijuana. "I'm not an advocate for drugs, I'm an advocate for freedom," Paul said of legal marijuana. "This has been my beef with Jeb Bush. I don't fault him for smoking pot in high school. What I do fault him is being for laws that will put kids in jail." When he faced the media's cameras, Paul said that he would return to Washington on Thursday and "commence the filibuster" against the debt limit deal handed to House Republicans on Tuesday. ... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/10/28/rand-paul-to-donald-trump-get-out-of-the-race/

Have you heard Fiorina's foreign policy about refusing to even speak w/ Putin and to start throwing billions more into new air craft carriers and military planes? We have more than we need right now especially if we're focused on just protecting the US mainland. Rand Paul has always been for states' rights as any libertarian would be, it's just that the mainstream media wants to keep him in the backdrop w/o a chance to surge. Rand is the true anti-establishment candidate but the media is misrepresenting this fact and thus they've been making this a Trump-Carson-Fiorina charade w/ a few attaboys for Bush and Rubio. If you watched the debate yesterday, the panel wasn't even gonna let Rand talk about his flat tax until he butted in. It was so obvious that he wasn't getting his share of time that they had to sit back and let him speak. These guys are corporate media hacks and Rand Paul would shut off the big spending that these guys' backers need and want; none of the others on stage would challenge the status quo except maybe Cruz to some degree.

Didn't you hear? Willy has been reincarnated. This time he's working from Chinese, unregulated exchanges with zero fees.
Let it flourish, whatever it is. Don't bite the hand... Criticizing or whatever in this market doesn't provide fuel, just shit. Don't you see that far-away folks are biting in a large way? Let them come plus many more of them. USA Bitch! No not really, but moon is decent and accepted. Damn near 310$

I doubt the price will even hit $400 by 2016 ~2 months of a bull market raging now so it's up to you to retract or embolden that statement. We are in flamboyant times with bitcoin so sell what you have when you make a your chump change and let the daddies take over on the way up when you're out. Or hold. Seriously, in this market do not sell any coins. Price goes up when demand is entering and the selling dries up. Hello?

Huobi chomping $308+ at the moment and likely to continue so it appears that we're on the elevator. When folks see something moving up, watch out. Twilight zone on the horizon.

Damn! USD is running 0.06% daily on BFX. more than 10X the interest rate on BTC.
EDIT: now >0.08!
In the past 30 days, we have had a return of nearly 30%, and I calculate that to be approximately 1% per day, on average. The past month as been a good time to have been in BTC. By my estimation, we're in a 45 day-ish run that has been reasonable enough to suggest that this isn't a pump and way different than the last few. That's quite some time and likely shouts that we're into something way apart from the last runs. No one can doubt that the halving is or will be having an effect in a large way now or in the short term. Moon? That's right I said it!

Shorters/Bears on suicide watch. Get fucked faggots.
LOL, that was too much, nice touch. I sure hope they have an exit strategy besides being punked out in an embarrassing fashion. Going broke and your ego trashed isn't a fun way to end a bear market, or is it?

I am busy, wil address your concerns about my wealth later. maybe tomorrow. just after this fake out.
see he's FINE doubling down now. I see it clearly. Dude is under-water in a large way and needs/should (to) let the market be his friend at this point. No shame in admitting defeat and changing course but stubborn-ness is not an ideal quality esp when your bread is on the line, unless you crave destruction and all your personal friends asking you questions about your financial situation. Just sayin, the water is rising.

Tarmi has probably lost all of his life savings. After having the wind blow at your rear for so long and thinking being a beartard is the surefire way to wealth via being leveraged to the hilt, I'd be a clam now as well. Since the recent statement out of China, I'd cut my risk entirely and play things in a different way even if you still have the ego swagger of the past. Gotta adapt or risk yo ass!
