Only 5 confirms for payout is a big deal with miners...that should be in your title dude...
Well done, as usual, Erun.
added that to the title. thanks for the suggestion. cheers!

Hurrah! Share diff 64, not 128! Only 5 confirmations (as the network requires), not 120!
a bit more on that... i'm running pool software of my own, and i've made it to actually check whenever blocks get confirmed, not some hardcoded value that i've got to change here and there. and i'm also going to put share VARDIFF at some point. got some beta code for that stuff, but it has to get some more testing before putting it to production use.

oooh. got our first orphan as well. though 1 orphan of 27 blocks isnt that bad also the DGC network seems healthy and we're getting 100% income match to what mining calculators (like coinwarz.com) show. Alright, I'll take my rigs out of solo and see the accuracy for myself. -tb- hehe. welcome!

yep. all things configured properly i'm not just cloning mmcfe installations. i care about stuff and i don't use mmcfe at all...

Welcome to blockchains that work as they should. yep. that's awesome. cheers!

Have any pools looked at implementing voluntary donations to the digitalcoin development foundation? The best way to move this community forward is working together.
i will definitely donate some just like i did for WDC developers. btw network is really healthy, i'm getting results matching profit calculators for my pool. way better than wdc was. i do now regret not starting a DGC pool when it was just released I can confirm this! Payouts right on TARGET! Keep up! BTW why did you delay DGC pool, I was forced to use P2P pools to earn some penny.. i just thought this was a worthless WDC clone. now i regret that

Honestly, I have no idea any more. All I know is that i have 8.9dgc when I should have had at least 15-20 through that time... And when I already had 8.9dgc i had about 750 more unpaid shares that did not convert into coins... Thats ok i understand that you have more work to do! That is why I just tested the pool and didnt go with all hashing power.
Another problem is stratum.. It has share submit delays and eventualy stratum crashes! It would be good to make a gatework connection also because the stratum is not reliable. Stales are ok at about 3% but that doesnt matter as long as stratus crashes..
i'm sorry to say, but stratum is way more reliable than pushpool's longpoll protocol. if one gets worse results, i guess that's a misconfiguration either at miner or a pool's side. i'm running stratum at my pools 24x7 and didnt get any crash yet. @Erundook, I never had a problem with stratum on your pools. They are working flawlessly! But for the WDC pool I had some problems with much less payout than it should have been! Neverteless I will try DGC Pool now... the payouts were a common problem for wdc network at all, since it was generating much less blocks than expected with a given hash rate. but sure, drop in to the dgc pool. that one seems to squeeze enough blocks off the network.

5% reject for me so far so really good, and reasonable 1,5% fee, could use some more people to lower variance.
got our first block solved, drop in Any chance you can get the stats to update a wee bit quicker? Seems like it updates every 120 seconds or so. I'm tuning some rigs to squeak out a little more efficiency. Overall, great pool... we just need more hashers. currently it updates once in 5 minutes to help maintain the server load. I'll make it to update every minute for now, but that is subject to change as the load grows.

From the op: This is a typical BigVern pool, 0% fee. The only thing not typical is the pool is really behind in stratum implementation. and its so typical of bigvern to be that much greedy so not taking any responsibility for spreading the hashrate. I mean hes upped fees and not implemented stratum I think the attempt is being made. In fact I highly recommend some of you go jump on erundook's pools which are also superb. Erundook whats your digcoinpool url? its http://dgc.epools.org (epools stand for erundook's pools) also got a link at my sig

It is indeed a shame bigvern does not place a registration cap on his pools, Paul of dontmine.me runs some of the most successful pools available and even he caps registration to ensure that his pool doesn't exceed 30-40% of network hash.
Combined with the fact that he is also operating an exchange, that he would take it more seriously.
thats why we were splitting our pools to geo zones. sadly miners at bigvern's pool dont understand that and keep his pool over 50%.
