Hey everybody. I think that some kind of warning should be placed in the description of the NEMstake asset (here: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/assets_exchange/stakeholders/12465186738101000735), so people know that it will be worth nothing in the near future unless they follow the procedure to redeem it for real NEM. Maybe something like: "This asset will be worthless after XXXX date. The keep the value inherent to this asset, follow this instructions ASAP: [link to the phase 2 redemption stage]" This way we can keep the number of unclaimed NEMstakes to a minimum. I think that majority of the people is well aware of this. They are just waiting and trying to squeeze the most of the profits out of it by trading and they are also hoping for the big price increase in the last week. Nevertheless it should be done, just so the people can't complain if they forget!! You cannot change the description once it is written in there. It is possible to send a message to every stakeholder. Maybe from the issuer but the issuer is UP and as you probably noticed he isn't here very often these days No need to be issuer to send messages to stakeholder NXT accounts. Everyone can send messages to everyone from personal NXT account.

Is there any, even very very small possibility, that some two people generate the same address and private key using BETA? Is there some checking to not generate the same address?
It could happen on the same day that you get struck by lightning, win the lottery, get hit by a neutrino, and have your body ripped apart encountering dark matter. Something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjI8AxZnrx8

Have you ever heard of that happening with bitcoin ? It's the same kind of likelihood i think Yes I know. In NXT you need to announce your public key in the blockchain to be safe. As I understand, real address is only generated in BETA, but public key of it is not announced in the blockchain, as this real blockchain do not exist now and nobody knows, that some address is generated. What why I'm asking Or I'm missing something?

Last question: Will it possible to redeem Nemstake from AE in portions during redeem period (3 weeks as I understand)? If I have 1 Nemstake, I send 0,5 Nemstake with NEM account today and then, after 2 weeks, I send second portion of 0,5 Nemstake. If it is possible, then is it possible to redeem both portions to 2 different real NEM accounts? That makes things more complicated for us. I would tend to say no, send it in one piece. Tend to agree with this. But what if nemstake owner splits his stake in two part (different NXT accounts), redeems one part now and another part later? I dont's see solution for it now It will be complicated for devs, I agree, but some clarification would be good. While we have approx. 3 weeks (correct me if I'm wrong), people still will trade Nemstake on AE, maybe making some profits if price go up

Phase 2 Redemption Guide
............
And when we can expect to receive real NEM. Is there some period of waiting them? In other words, if I sent my nemstake and NEm account# now, when real NEM will be transferred to my real NEM account? Phase 2 Redemption Guide
... To sum up:
1) Create a real NEM address in the beta, as shown above (The field is to small for the complete address. Make sure you copy the whole thing!!!) 2) Send your NEMStake to NXT-97MX-EWKV-CGKX-DA5WH including an unencrypted message consisting of your real NEM address created with the BETA client, according to the screenshots above. Don't send your private key!
Clarification: With regards to the problem that the popup in the gui which displays the real account data cannot be selected for copy & paste (which some users reported): This is only an issue when using Firefox. We are aware of it and will fix it in the next release. You can use Chrome to have the ability to copy & paste the data.
Have you set a date for how long this will go on? And what is the estimated time for when those who don't have their stack on the nxt ae get real nem account with nem on? Here are some rough estimates: https://medium.com/@xtester/extended-redemption-period-d6e7ceaf3a53Last question: Will it possible to redeem Nemstake from AE in portions during redeem period (3 weeks as I understand)? Just sent 5M to whitecloud. As i've read in the instructions (i think) to be eligible to forge this time in the test there is a condition and that is to make transaction of atleast 500k Node to make it count.. not sure if my interpretation of the instructions are wrong. So if u are just sending little amounts that is not making you eligible for forging.
You can't generate your transaction, only strangers So, is there some rule to start forging? I mean transactions age, amounts spent, etc.? EDIT: I forged one block

ok no luck.. i dont know what the hell is wrong that it wont work.. :/ allowed the port in the firewall settings, didnt work, turned off the firewall - didnt work, router settings didnt work.. :/
edit:
martismartis, netgear (ssid)AirCard-4210
just had a look online and one site, in relation to white listing, is showing ports like "http=port80". is that the way it is supposed to be entered or just as "7890" with out the http=?
no worries if i cant get it working, il just bring it into college and someone will know how to fix it..
Can you point me to that manual? I cannot find it. Different countries have different number. Kodtycoon i can't find that model. Is your menu greyish with violet / green buttons ? You should find it under NAT setting if your router has NAT setting. Ok try netgear aircard 762s Seems it is mobile hotspot and IP of this router will not be permanent, when you'll switch it off and switch it on. Port forwarding is in advanced settings.

I'm not sure how versed you are in these things so I'll add this without wanting to offend you. The machine your forwarding to will not have the ip you're usually seeing when you're surfing the internet and check your ip. It will most likely look like 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.0.1. ok.. i went to ipconfig in cmd and it gives me ipv4 and default gateway that only have the last digit different.. which is it? they both look the same as the latter ip you posted. Your PC ip is ipv4 in the list after ipconfig command is executed. The login to your router and make port 7890 forwarding to your ipv4 address. Wait a little and it should work. i tried that and my internet gets "limited" and doesnt work after i forward anything.. What is your router? Exactly make.

The NEMStake is climbing surely. Just hit 40K. I think this is the first time since NS was listed. As we draw to a close for the beta launch (supposedly to be launched by Sunday) we are beginning to smell some burnt rocket fuel. Get set for countdown folks!! One thing for sure. I know the devs are clocking overtime now! Put beta on the table faster I'm harvesting 24/7 every 20 block, and all of them are 0. Seems nobody is using alpha
