We need some new implementation in the currency, for the community to see that this is serious, for example -> Dark Gravity 3
I can add that very easily telematico, Do you guys want DGW V3 now? wtman - Not sure why, Hashcoin is better than Dogecoin, or any scrypt based coin, its on par with Hirocoin for features....Like I said I will try to add some new features, but if everyone bails out early and no one is interested in buying before hand then what is the purpose of me adding these new features? why not....dont give up....add DGW V3 .......make BIG announcement of short term implementation of POW/POS (lets say for 7 days of mining POW with some attractive reward to early miners and 1% POS for a certain time) - you will certainly attract more people to this coin because it is popular this days....and when it starts who knows....give it try . . then you can say you try everything Coins POW / POS, not much success in Mintpal

If you can whisper, to build a different group chat is even better. In addition to pay 1000 coins can send a message, the message can be prominently displayed at the top, showing one hour or longer for the better (how many coins to pay and how long messages are displayed so that everyone can vote on, such as vote once per month)
+100 sure,good idea yeah

eXo_coin is unable to attend today, so I am writing at least a short status notice. - Still working on the final API thoughts for exchanges, sorry they will be released shortly - launch will be delayed around 2 weeks again for obvious reasons (we need a stable client first, that at least runs 1 week without any problem or crash) - bugs of latest test has already been bugged out (at least the bugs we are aware of should be fixed hopefully) + added many more checks everywhere + added checks on each memory allocation - we want to fix the problems in the proxy program before the next update
next update probably late tomorrow
best regards eXokk
still wait!

well the wallet needs a fix... When you first launch the wallet... it crashes... second time its ok though... But that can scare people off... lol... the name of the coin isnt helping when your wallet crashes the first time lol And there need to be some build in nodes within the wallet... Makes it easier too use for the lazy/noobish people +1

I think there are various reasons for this coin to be at this stage...
1. No premine.
2. Good Dev
3 Fast and encouraging community
4. Future plans including messaging system and others.
5. Limited (very) supply.
6. Highly undervalued.
7. Cinni : name does not create any chaos
8. Its POS
9. No greater alternative at this stage to BC, AC, WC or others.
10. The price was stable for two weeks (great for investment)
point!

Comparing this shitcoin to BTC or LTC is laughable. Both those coins were launched fairly and everyone could get in at the same time as everyone else. BTC was mined on personal computers for a year or more and how long did BTC early adopters have to wait before they were able to cash in their holdings for untold riches? Many, many years that took not selling when their holdings were worth $1, as many did and multiple spikes and crashes along the way. That is completely different from an insta-mine scam with a block reward that is 100% skewed towards everyone but that earliest adopters and launched with the 50 blocks containing the biggest rewards already mined.
Most Coin launches frankly are never fair to people who don't mine or don't have big mining rigs. I never understood the principle that coins difficulty should start off super easy, its a disproportionate reward to people who are fortunate enough to jump on a coin sometimes as little as 24-48 hours before everyone else. You can say, "well it's open to everyone" but be reasonable, not everyone is going to discover a coin in the first week or even the first month to truly make it a fair launch. In my view getting in early on a coin should reward you with lots of coins just for the fact you got in early and had more time to mine at a steadily consistent rate, not because you were able to horde a lot of coins within a short easy difficulty time period. This is the biggest mistake Satoshi made with BTC and is why BTC is hoarded by only a few people. Personally I never understood why its evil for a dev to profit a little off his creation but okay for the multi pools to take the big fortunes.

dev can you give a roughly time when ipo start?
thanks
Not sure. White papers are taking forever. I have five whitepapers to write and whitepaper four is only half done and its 16 pages. Writing the whitepapers is taking longer than implementing the consensus algorithm. It would be unfair to do the IPO before people can read the white papers about what we are doing and before the client works on everyone's computer. Skycoin does not have signature mutability, does not have transaction mutability, does not have duplicate coinbase outputs and dozens of other changes and improvements from Bitcoin. Skycoin makes dozens of changes from Bitcoin and each change has to be described. Most of the whitepaper for the blockchain design, is about flaws in Bitcoin and then how Skycoin addresses them. Investors hear about "signature mutability" in the news and its bad, but they do not know what it is or what the difference between signature mutability and transaction mutability is. The white paper has to explain this.

DEV GONE, COIN DEAD.
There was a spike in prices between 13th and 16th April after which the dev disappeared, probably after selling his mined coins, he lost interest.
Thanks to the coin's sluggish difficulty re-target, the block chain has been stuck since AGES at 6.5181391. It takes hours to churn out a block.
There's a problem with the wallet -- it hangs the moment I activate the send amount cursor.
There's no dev when it needs the most.
This coin had potential, but like most good coins, (bull coin, O2O, Argentum, pnut, quarkbar, leadcoin), the dev has abandoned it before the crypto could take off.

I'm in the same boat. Got the new wallet and it just constantly freezes. On the odd occassion it doesn't freeze it doesn't sync. This morning (after leaving it running all night) it hadn't fully synced and said I had 6k staking. Left it all day and now it says that I have 3k and only synced a few more blocks (still about 2500 blocks behind). Now I can not even open it without it crashing.
