681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk Token and Yobit on: June 23, 2020, 12:04:54 PM
in fact the cryptotalk pay per post campaign has stopped paying in bitcoin and they have decided that they will pay with this new token talk but that it will be listed only from September and it is not known with what value, I think many users will stop writing

It seems that they are actually even more activated now... Strange. But they'll stop soon after realizing that this isn't worth anything, and people will dump their tokens from 2 month era instantly. And with that inflation, the price won't recover.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment on: June 21, 2020, 10:02:55 PM
But then there's the fact that KCS is actually paying dividends for hodling it. Currently it's not paying a lot if you don't hold a lot of it and it pays with various altcoins but still...
You don't get the dividends in various altcoins. The dividends are paid in KCS.
You get always not enough dividends.  Wink The lack is, that you cannot verifiy the right amount of dividends which you have got, because there is no informationen about the sum of trading fees.

Hmm, when did this change? I was holding this from 2017 to 2018 so i am a bit out of touch it seems. But looks like you are correct and they changed the system. I can't see any point holding it in that case tbh.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment on: June 21, 2020, 09:21:19 PM
Those two coins are really good but BNB is far greater than KCS. BNB has its own blockchain, and KCS does not have it. Also, In terms of price KCS is pretty stable not exceeding $1 like a stablecoin it's been like that for a long time now, no improvement in price but if they will surpass its All time high which is $21 it is pretty nice to ride now but the question is if they can. Maybe if they have some developments and updates like BNB do they can surpass it.

But then there's the fact that KCS is actually paying dividends for hodling it. Currently it's not paying a lot if you don't hold a lot of it and it pays with various altcoins but still...
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ and Coinmarketcap on: June 21, 2020, 07:22:56 PM
It's better now, but i have hard time understanding that ProBit is still in 31th place. The volume action in there on most of the coins/tokens is so obviously faked it gives me nausea.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas on: June 21, 2020, 12:35:53 PM
Bring in something NEW or don't bother at all

You will find new projects that are contributing by doing something new, but you will have to search them. Most of the new projects are crap because crap sells too and it's easier to pull that off then build anything ground breaking as that would require actual skills and devoted team.

Imho it's pointless to ask devs to stop delivering shitcoins when a lot of them are in it for the money anyway and ton of investors are also just looking for instant gains.

Most people aren't tech-savvy enough to know why a some project needs a blockchain or a token and what projects doesn't and most of these projects are in this to get money from these gullible people. Shitcoin builders don't have the skills to pull off anything too complex, but most investors can't tell the difference between the coin and a token. so...
686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of shitcoins on: June 21, 2020, 09:04:16 AM
So if you didn't know anything about it (you didn't analyse it), why exactly did you buy it in the first place? Surely you had some reason when there's so many shitcoins to choose from.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Geotagging on: June 20, 2020, 10:00:45 PM
You could always just leave paper wallets with small amounts on normal deposit boxes provided by Geocaching sites.

This way you would probably introduce new people to bitcoin as well as they would be surprised. They would have their smartphones on because they would need that for geocaching and they would probably take a look at this bitcoin thing.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is another type of fiat money according to the New York Fed on: June 20, 2020, 07:52:37 PM
So, this is getting confusing. Has there ever been a fiat money in the known history that has value that hasn't been maintained and manipulated by the government to be stable?
689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: June 20, 2020, 07:38:42 PM
It all depends on the situation, there are no right answers as TA brings just brings options to choose from. Sometimes price bounces from specific MA, sometimes from fibonacci lines, sometimes it doesn't follow anything that happened before.

I rather listen to my gut and to the exact opposite what my gut says. I admit i rarely have balls to do that but that's how i try to operate.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the HALVING working out for you ??? Remember all the predictions ???? on: June 20, 2020, 07:20:20 PM
How is the BitCion Halving working out for everyone ?

Remember all the predictions of BitCoin Skyrocketing in price due to the halving ??  It NEVER HAPPENED.

...

What predictions? Have you taken a look at the chart yourself because we are still on track to the moon.
Price hasn't ever rocketed right after halving anyway so what did you expect exactly and why?
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: June 19, 2020, 06:44:42 PM
...
Take a look at the previously hacked exchanges. They couldn't even protect themselves even with all their earnings. What makes you think you will be able to do well?
...

I don't thing that's the goal of OP. At least it doesn't sound like that, he literally said that
With a volatile bitcoin market investing in a bitcoin exchange is really beneficial.

So obviously he was thinking of quick profits only.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk Token and Yobit on: June 19, 2020, 12:30:45 PM
...

I don't think they can be successful. What do you think?

I have taken a look and this token has 1% daily inflation trough their invest box. It's given out free and it doesn't seem to have any max supply or any blockchain. Why would anyone pay for that? If that doesn't end up having any value their forum is pretty much over.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 40+ crypto companies comes together for one solution on: June 19, 2020, 11:32:13 AM
No surprise that my bank is not registered. It will be a cold day in hell before they are in board with any crypto-related tech.

But how exactly does this work with Blockchain.com? Can i create my PayID in there?
694  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why don't we live in a harmonious world? on: June 19, 2020, 11:22:03 AM
Why do people still have disagreements (by gender, race, nationality and any other dividing factors)? Is it bad that we are all different in this? Each person has his own characteristics (appearance, character, interests, etc.), but we are all people, and we are all one! Why do people still argue with each other, why apply aggression to each other?

There is something that unites us all - this is Love and sanity.

Still? We haven't evolved even if we have build high culture civilizations.
Our animal instincts always collapses with ideologies that are giving too much credit for human nature. All we can do is try to work harder on our impulse control and hope that our frontal cortex evolves. (not in our lifetime but still).
695  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia! Do not nuke us! on: June 19, 2020, 10:53:31 AM
I think the US might nuke Finland just so there is no ambiguity...

Quote
US President Donald Trump once asked his chief of staff whether Finland was a part of Russia, according to an upcoming book by former National Security Adviser John Bolton, the New York Times reported.

To be completely honest, the amount of Russian trolls on our our Finnish comment sections is so huge that it is starting to be confusing to us too. /s
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE NEXT ETH?? on: June 18, 2020, 07:57:01 PM
Hmm, might have heard, not sure. Can you bring more details on them?

Yes, of course. Centric is the world's first dual-cryptocurrency payment network. Its innovative and unique concept is engineered to achieve breakthrough as a reliable form of payment. Try to Google them, cause they are bringing really unique value
never heard of it, but I will check it out

Come on this is just an attempt to take over the chat and shill that crap. Newb accounts should be a clue for shilling shitcoins.
hwteeer knows exactly what that was i and am starting to think that you are part of this shilling attempt as you are participating into it. I regret giving you merit now.

Proof:

No, I wouldn't say so. I am only having 2 or 3 most attractive ones I am following. And latest discovery I would definitely recommend everyone to have a look at - Centric Foundation. Have you already heard of such a solution? Cause you know, in here guys are setting entirely new standards on the field

Centric Foundation? It seems that I haven't heard of it before, can you please provide more details on what the solution stays for? Can you elaborate?

Archived, because you guys will probably delete these.

Hey, I have peacefully plea for the international community! Do not nuke Finland!
The Russians are good guys and they never attacked anyone first, but only defended themselves. It's not in our interest.

Right, good guys... I am not sure what they teach you in there, but Russia (Or Soviet Union back then) literally started the winter war with Finland.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelling_of_Mainila

And everyone of your neighbourgs are scared of your country.
698  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia! Do not nuke us! on: June 18, 2020, 01:36:26 PM
Why woul Russia nuke Finnland? I don't think either one of you two is interested in a new winter war. Or am I missing something?

It's been a while since I was in Helsinki, but a lot of things I saw where actually from Russia. Pretty sure you are a decent trading partner for Russia with a healthy tourism industry, why bother changing that?

Maybe he is joking. No one here in Finland actually thinks that they would bomb us. I mean why would they? They probably want to try invade us at some point after they make up some reason, but not bombing wouldn't just make any sense, russians are buying cabins from here and like to shop in here.
699  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who controls the world? on: June 18, 2020, 10:14:02 AM
Is it nations and nationality, like USA, Russia, or is it the billionaires who change and influence policies or is it the head of major religions or big companies like Google?

Sometimes I really start to believe in conspiracy theories because indeed I feel this world is more evil than I can imagine. And really, the most evil I believe controls the whole world.

It's the balance of them and it's quite obvious when you think about it. Occasionally one group seem to take more power over others but no one group is really in "in control" of everything. People who think that world is controlled by one specific group usually can't handle the idea of world being so chaotic and they seek meaning from that chaos.

It's comfortable to think that someone is in charge or watching you. That's why people believe it, even if it would be something "evil" as it creates the sense of purpose.
700  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Privacy vs Anonymity on: June 18, 2020, 09:07:52 AM
I see many projects coming out there "claiming" to be private. "Claiming" to be anonymous. In the year of regulation. What do you think is more important? Privacy? Or anonymity? Can they both exist? Especially with increasing government and regulatory scrutiny?

Anonymity will always be a problematic when it comes to AML laws, unlike privacy that's actually wanted by regulators to some extent. For example open blockchain is problematic to big institutional players as everyone can track everything they do. Privacy is important to banks etc while anonymity is not accepted.
