The problem with People like this asshat is that they always get away with what they do. At least in Germany. The only way to teach such persons a lesson is to visit them at home for a nice little chat... he doesn't even have to understand your language if you bring your friends with you Cheesy Wink

It's not worth the hassle... people should learn from this. If someone refuses a free escrow he can't be trusted !

I run 120221 so the latest aviable BTC Miner. Im on Firmware ztex_ufm1_15d1.ihx right now

You can try out the d3 firmware. Works very well over here. Perhaps the error goes away.

The stone looks sick ! Good buy.

Do you run the newest version of the mining software ? I had this error for a while but it's gone now. What speeds do you get with that heatsinks ?
686  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much do you pay for power? on: March 01, 2012, 11:45:47 AM

Honestly, regardless of whether you are replying to me or not, I am just tired as hell with your FAN-BOI posts in this thread.

I can point to a number of instances where you 'Set people straight' when they comment on GPUMAX by telling them to 'LEAVE' etc.

I don't know if you are part of the GPUMAX 'team', but you clearly try to get brownie pts at every turn with some of your posts and frankly it makes you look ridiculous, not to mention you have a habit of stating the obvious.

I like the service, I like dealing with Pirate....anything else you are unclear about ?

Do me a favor and put me on IGNORE. Please don't reply to another one of my posts anywhere on this forum.

Relax man !

688  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 29, 2012, 07:09:30 PM
I do understand Starlightbreaker. The way it is now the miners and GPUMAX profit. The buyers are not really in a comfortable position. But this service can not run without them. You can hope that some fool is buying your shares but would anyone mining for GPUMAX actually buy shares the way things are at the moment ? I wouldn't !

Since i'm a craftsman i don't know much about how things work in the background. But there are some things i would change if i would run such a service.

- option to limit (choose?) the hashrate, the service sends to the buyer. No more pool flood !
- the buyer can choose how much he want's to pay for one share and sellers are free to set the price they want.
- buyer can time the shares + gets an option to pause and resume the purchased shares.

Not that i want to complain ! I earn good money here and i like the idea of this service. It has lots of potential.

Good work. Looks clean and has this professional touch.

y'know.

you should name your service gpumaxcasino for the buyers.

You're way too greedy Cheesy

Proper response times (getwork and submit) are less than 200 ms.

Internet is slow over here but i can get 250-300 ms with regular pools. Sadly i have not enough insider knowledge how GPUMAX exactly works.

If i ping the ip java is connected to (GPUMAX) i get this

Code:
Ping wird ausgeführt für 184.173.241.234 mit 32 Bytes Daten:
Antwort von 184.173.241.234: Bytes=32 Zeit=195ms TTL=50
Antwort von 184.173.241.234: Bytes=32 Zeit=194ms TTL=50
Antwort von 184.173.241.234: Bytes=32 Zeit=190ms TTL=50
Antwort von 184.173.241.234: Bytes=32 Zeit=193ms TTL=50

Ping-Statistik für 184.173.241.234:
    Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 4, Verloren = 0
    (0% Verlust),
Ca. Zeitangaben in Millisek.:
    Minimum = 190ms, Maximum = 195ms, Mittelwert = 193ms

C:\Program Files\NetBalancer>

So no idea why the submit time is that high  Huh

Someone solved the network problems (or the attack has been ended). "-n 1" only reduces the possibility of overflows if the network is slow. It does not influence the "getwork time" and "submit time".

Yes, the overflows come and go. Getwork times go from 700 to 2k ms...
693  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - 3rd batch payment start. on: February 28, 2012, 11:32:01 AM
I didn't get cgminer to work under Windows 7 so far so I am running 5 instances of RG7Miner for now.

So were you unable to get cgminer to run or did the software not detect ICARUS ?

pause button, please?  Sad

double or triple stacking without pause button is way too tricky.

Too easy Tongue

Problem solved. I'm back in business with my FPGAs.

You can try the "-n 1" option, i.e. one device per thread. But that only reduces the impact of the network problems.

Cheesy -n 1 helped. I'm down to below 40ms per thread now. No more overflows ! Thanks a lot for your continued support.

@ Rupy

That's a very nice rig you have there, Sir ! I like to see what others do with their boards. Cool Cool

Thanks for the info. It looks like i can do nothing about that. Local speed is ok. All other pools work fine with your software. What is different with cgminer that it works (almost) without problems ? Or what can Pirate change to make it work better ?

Yes, i run the newest version.
