I think it's really just preference. If we are just speaking in terms of using an online wallet to hold/send/receive bitcoin (and nothing else), both wallets are pretty good.
Personally, I'm not fond of the newer blockchain.info user interface at all - but it's still a decent wallet.
Choosing between coinbase and blockchain i would choose blockchain because of its new features which you could able to secure your private keys already unlike on coinbase and take note its not a purely webwallet but an exchange wallet.They do really hold or freeze account if they know that you are using it on gambling transactions. Well, Transfer Bitcoin by coinbase are very fast if both sender and receiver use coinbase. Because when you send the Bitcoin by email, they will instantly move to the email owner within a second. If you care about the private keys or the security, you should never use online wallet because even if they provide you they private keys, it still very hard to prevent hackers from attacking the site. |

Coinbase wallet dont give permission to their users to use the wallet for gambling purpose, if any user found of using it then they will block their account. So you can do nothing. So it is better that you can download Electrum Desktop wallet for all types of gambling or any type of transaction purpose. They will block the account permanently if you are found involving in gambling activities several times. However, after blocking, they will require you to send an address in order to transfer the amount of Bitcoin in your Coinbase account to another wallet. There's 0 chance of ever finding out the answer. If I just opened 1000 wallets but nothing is in the m I still have 1000 wallets. Who knows how many people have wallets with zero balances in them at this point. Probably tons!

Bad news to those who transacts with instant satoshis from faucets.
Luckily I am not a user of xapo, I think user interface makes loading long xapo, I often experience long loading. one other thing that makes me less like we are every login in one computer always ask for a PIN sent via SMS. Because the security is very important to Xapo so they decide to make it as safe as they can. I like this feature and I do not have to worry about being stolen Bitcoin when I use Xapo. However, because now, we have to pay fees to use Xapo, I change my wallet to Coinbase. Coinbase is very awesome because there are many merchants connect with COinbase. |
