What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started?

When I first started about a year ago, I bought some and thought of investing, invested in cloud mining (hashocean) lost all of it. And learnt a valuable lesson.

That was one of the things that disappointed me too when I first started into Bitcoin. I was greedy at first, and thought that I could make huge amounts of money with cloud mining services. At the end, I've realized that most of them were scam, due to unpaid coins, lack of company information, names of employees, among other factors. Most of my investments in cloud mining were lost due to many of them claiming that they were hacked. Services like cloudminr.io, GAW Miners, HashProfit, and others were nothing but scams and ponzis which just turned out to steal lots of Bitcoins from their customers.

I've learned a valuable lesson since then, and now I'm only dedicated to buying mining hardware, building mining rigs, and promoting cryptocurrency services.

My experience is it tested my patience as I'm into faucet that time and remembered they have good bounties on it but now it would totally waste your time if you just manually visit their site. I do HYIP site and the result was all the same they are scam they just put some announcement that they have been hack or something then the bitcoin you invested to them are gone.

It is sad that a new person starting bitcoins got scammed by some HYIP sites because its kind of discouraging signs for anyone.

When I started with bitcoins I had no clue how to earn it, I just knew that this is not controlled by someone and its like gold which we save and sell, never thought it would get converted into a currency.

My experiences have been positive so far, I have never been scammed and I have bought some quality products in the forum, I started doing faucets so I could understand better what this tech was about, after that and since I was impressed by it I bought some bitcoin that reevaluated itself very rapidly and I spent it, then I got out of the bitcoin world for some time and then I returned.

Unfortunately I did not take the bitcoin very seriously at first, and that is why did not buy any coin when its price was very cheap, several years ago. It is undoubted that I was very negligent at first.

the bottom line is all that is in the world bitcoin, both methods get bitcoin, and the other two are all at high risk, because bitcoin decentralization so you are fully responsible for all the things you do.

When I'm new to bitcoin I am only create a wallet and refer friends to earn. Then I'm search about bitcoin in the google, I found a PTC (Paid To Clicks) sites then I join it. Even it is a small amount of collecting money, I'm happy to do it. Several days later, I feel bored and I think to find more to earn higher than that. I have an experience also in investing and trading but I'd loss my money because I'm a beginner. It's so many to tell this all.

i think it is common in all walks of life. the women participation is always less in every thing, and specially in Muslim countries their participation about negligible. they remain stick in their house and never take active participation in all activities of life. i think girls more briefing about bitcoin to convince them.

First, i started to earn bitcoins by joining signature campaigns. Then i tried faucets and ptc sites which turned to be a mere waste of time.I decided to mine altcoins but i was not satisfied with the outcomes.Then i purchased altcoins and started trading.First since i was new to trade, i suffered some losses, but now i have become an active trader.

Kinda awesome that you are just a junior member yet and you are quite too experienced and even earned from signatures which even guys now with senior member rank cannot. Alt coins trading is a superb business because it can give imaginary profits in real life while at the same time can also give big loss more often than we think.

Too bad you were scammed, but not everything in the world of bitcoin are scams there are legitimate business where you can invest and get some decent earnings like the bankrolls of casinos that give you a chance to earn a small percentage of their earnings.

Too bad you were scammed, but not everything in the world of bitcoin are scams there are legitimate business where you can invest and get some decent earnings like the bankrolls of casinos that give you a chance to earn a small percentage of their earnings.

Unfortunately crypto still has many events like these, which make many users get away from it. But there are always ways to avoid such disappointments. Bitcointalk itself is a means by which you can investigate such investment possibilities and find out if they are scams or not. The cryptocurrency space is an environment that is still maturing, and investors need to be cautious.

I think you are the same as me. I used to invest Bitcoin to some stupid ponzi scheme and most of the time I believed that they would pay me. LOL. I do not know why I am stupid like that. This forum has taught me a lot. Since I have joint this forum, I never ever deposit my money or Bitcoin in some HYIP or cloudmining. Trading is good, but I think it is not suitable for me

Yes apart from faucet it is nearly impossible to earn bitcoins now a days, when I first came into bitcoins I bought them for real money and that time the price was cheap and till date today i regret why I sold them at a lower price. Hope the buyers now don't sell this asset at a cheap price.

The price could never been that cheap as mentioned, even with that price you could have managed to earn a good profit. While you were buying the money value too might be low. Based upon the factor of increase with respect to time the price have increased from the lowest. Also the price variation happened much during the past few years.

You are correct but at the same time we must always be on our toes, and be very careful how we use our coins, if you are careful with fiat then you need to be even more careful with bitcoin because there is not a way to get your coins back if someone decide to run away with your money.

You are correct but at the same time we must always be on our toes, and be very careful how we use our coins, if you are careful with fiat then you need to be even more careful with bitcoin because there is not a way to get your coins back if someone decide to run away with your money.

The fact is majority of us have got scammed or invested in ponzi schemes in the past but we cannot afford to blame bitcoins for that as it was our own mistake which led us to an disaster but the best thing is that we have learnt from the mistakes and now successfully earning the best currency of the world.

I found ou about it from my father and at first I was confused with btc adress of mine changing from time to time and I was afraid that if I give somebody the previous adress I had I won't recieve money  . I guess it's only now, after almost a year of using bitcoin, I started watching some videos and reading articles about some processes related to it. Back then I just didn't think of it as of something important. But now the more I learn the more amazed I am with this thing.
