689  Local / Бизнес / Re: Casinobit - Играем в рулетку - в реальном времени on: May 15, 2013, 10:18:08 AM
Самое главное не идея а исполнение Wink

It's only allowed ONCE per player.
Your bet has appeared instantly.
The casino is FULLY automatic, when you lose you receive a satoshi multiplied by the game result (0.00000005 in your case which means the result was 5 in the second bet), otherwise you receive your winnings.

I have made an exception for you.

Any thread with the title free bitcoins I think bullshit.

Well sorry to be misleading but you can make a 0.01 bet on red for example. If you win you receive your 0.01 back plus 0.01 winnings plus 0.01 "free", if you lose then you just receive your 0.01 back for free (it may take some time because it is done manually), so yes, it's free.

EDIT: The 0.01 "free" bitcoin bonus, which is temporary, is being sent manually, the casino works in a fully automated manner.

695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinobit - LIVE ROULETTE - No Registration - FREE BTC on: May 14, 2013, 11:42:46 PM
One question though...  how do you decide how much fee to include?  On the 22 satoshis you paid when I lost, I see a 0.000238 BTC fee, which is a weird number.  I think the minimum recommended fee is 0.0005 for any transaction which has an output smaller than 0.01 BTC, and your fee is about half that.  Seems like a weird amount to use:

We have our own tx calculator that estimates the network, the size of the transaction, etc etc. It's been working great so far so there is no need to be crunching up new numbers.

Anyway didn't want to sound like a dick, just voicing my opinion.

So your only problem with the pyramid scheme is that the operator* claims** that there's no risk involved?  If he said "everyone profits except the last buyer" then you'd be fine with it, because then it would be a game played for entertainment, with everyone knowing the risks.

* He might not be the site operator.

** He said 'nobody loses nothing', which may or may not be an intentional double-negative, or maybe just bad grammar.  It appears that English isn't his first language.

No I would be against the practice altogether unless the owner specifies "This website is a pyramid scheme and you are ALWAYS in the risk of not getting a dime back" on the index page which will never happen.

It's a pyramid scheme essentially, need to be pretty bold to claim that and offer such services, I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that once one of the customers takes his life. Not because of the legal responsibility but because how can you live with yourself.

You could say the same about running any kind of gambling operation though couldn't you?  Even if you offer a fair game of roulette (say), are you responsible when a customer loses more than he can afford and offs himself?

Well one could argue that it's a grey area but for me the line is plain as day which is the reason I have decided to get into this business, a pyramid scheme inevitably leads to failure, it also encourages greedy people to invest all they can to make the most profit, I on the other hand do not encourage people to gamble "for profit" but rather for fun. It's the same as going to a theatre but you actually have the possibility of coming out of that theatre with more than what you've paid for the ticket.

One could then argue why would knife companies make knifes and how can they live with the fact that they are seldom misused by psychopaths to slaughter people. If one has a gambling addiction it's his internal problem that he needs to treat, we are merely a tool. I am against a nanny state, if one wants to purchase narcotics then so be it, all the profit should be used to treat addicts instead of fueling the greed of porche driving drug lords.

Anyway didn't want to sound like a dick, just voicing my opinion.
