682  Economy / Service Discussion / $35m in cryptocurrency stolen from a company. on: September 02, 2021, 10:17:47 AM
Today I receive my daily newsletters and among them, I notice an article about a theft of $35m in cryptocurrency stolen from a company in Cyprus. Their Director reports the theft in Limassol but the theft was made to another company abroad.
He claimed that he gets an e-mail that he thought it was from a partner/ colleague of his and from this e-mail, hackers get access to the system and data of the company abroad, to which his Cyprus-based company provides technical services. Sounds strange or it's my thinking only? Undecided

683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 01, 2021, 04:57:29 PM
In two matches in Serie A AC Milan managed to beat Sampdoria and Cagliari, both are not big teams, so it's too early to think AC Milan has
played well. AC Milan in the third week will face Lazio, which I think Lazio is a strong team. If AC Milan manages to beat Lazio, it can provide
a bit of evidence that AC Milan should be counted as one of the candidates for Serie A champions I want to see Giroud play alongside Ibrahimovic,
I can imagine that if the two of them can be deployed together,  AC Milan's front line will be more productive and scary for the opposing team.

Yep, we can remember what happened with AC Milan last season, they dominated the game at the beginning of the season, however, in the second half, they seemed to lose their game. However, it is undeniable that Giroud still gives hope for AC Milan this season, at least to keep Milan's position in the top 3. Milan this season got 11 players, both transfers and loans, the question is, how effective is the transfer of Milan this season with 1 new squad of players.

Olivier Giroud is a decent player to be honest, a decent forward despite his old age (34). However, Luis Suarez is also old now but he is still a goal machine. So, the age doesn't determine the performance of a player all the time. Giroud scored 11 goals in 31 matches at Chelsea last season. But he didn't play in the starting eleven in all of them also. And at Milan, he started with 2 goals in 2 matches already. Maybe he will have a very productive year at least in this season and help the team a lot.

Indeed Olivier Giroud is a good player and he can help any team but EPL isn't Serie A and I don't know if he can hold on to such a "hard" league. Chelsea protects him in a way and never starts any game as you said, in Milan though he is in the starting lineup but for how long? He will manage to be in such form and who will replace him when he will be tired from the day-by-day matches? Age is a big factor. Undecided

You already get negative feedback for asking for a non-collateral loan but it seems that you don't pay attention or care.
The sure thing is that you will not get a single sat. The only thing that you will (most likely) get, is another negative. So, enjoy...
These guys use newbie accounts hoping some idiot gives them what will end up being free money. I really wish they'd disable posting in some sections for newbies.

That's true and perhaps will be a solution but on the other hand, you know better than me that anyone can post anywhere, almost anything for a reason.
Besides, I don't believe that there is any idiot left, to just send his coins because a noob asks for it. Cool

I assume that everyone is going to start enjoying the season after Ronaldo's joining to Manchester Utd. He was injured for around a week but he is OK now. I can't wait to watch him after the national break. I don't know whether Solskjaer would prefer him in the starting eleven right away. But I would really like to see him playing from the start of the game. It is going to be really emotional for the fans.

Is there any doubt that Solskjaer wouldn't "prefer" Cristiano Ronaldo, if he is good to go, in the starting eleven? He is CR7 and I don't believe that he needs something new to learn or to adapt. Besides, which coach will have available in his roster Ronaldo and will not use him asap? The only thing that can keep him out of the Man Utd squad is only injuries and cards. Grin

Im offering only a few loans to reputable people.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE COLLATERAL.
Reply with loan amount up to 100 euros btc equivalent.
Nothing over 7 days. $5 fee for each day needed.

You offer loans to reputable members but how do you expect those members to choose and trust you? A newbie without any kind of history? And you ask for 5% per day? Roll Eyes Cheesy
I'm pretty sure that your intentions are more than shady. Unfortunately for you, nobody will send you a dime or any kind of collateral. Cool

Actually he's asking for $5 per day, not 5%.  If you borrow $50 that's 10% per day, borrow $25 that's 20% per day.  Not to mention that we've got a 1-post newbie asking for collateral with no mention of escrow.  And such a bargain; only asking for 75% of the loan value for collateral.  Could it be possible this is just an attempted collateral scam?

Even if he is a legitimate lender (which I doubt,) if someone borrows $100 from him and gives him $75 as collateral, after 7 days the borrower would owe 180% of the collateral.  What could go wrong?

Oh, I thought that the $5 is for his top amount, €100! Grin But on the other hand, if it's a fixed $5 then the interest will be $35 for a week and for any amount... Undecided
The best part for me is that OP wants the loan amount in 100 Euro equivalent but the interest is in US dollars.
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 31, 2021, 04:06:10 PM
It's the unbelievable og goal from Villareal, at very last minute. Terrible mistake.

A terrible mistake which cost me a very big big BIG win... Angry It would be a great win for Villareal but it seems that anything can happen at any time with any team. Very unlucky. Still, they played well and for sure they will be a tough team to beat for all.
Atalanta though is a very attacking team, UCL isn't LaLiga, and I really doubt that they can hold the score at low levels.

692  Economy / Lending / Re: bitcoin loan with shares as collateral? on: August 29, 2021, 02:24:40 PM
@OP: As I said earlier (and you try to present it like it's the worse...), the only real, fast, and reliable collateral is crypto. At least here, the place that you came to ask for a loan. If you have, then you will get a loan here without any further discussion. If not and without any solid proof of your sayings, then your chances are below 0.5%. So simple.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 29, 2021, 11:33:14 AM
Being in the bottom position is not only make Arsenal look sadden but which is no less sad is that they have not been able to score even one goal, their statistics are conceding 3 goals in every game, this competition is still long, there are still 35 games Arsenal are still very likely to improve the situation hope it's done soon.

I don't think why Arsenal are like this, but it's a shame to see 10 years ago they were a really great team. How Henry, Pires, Patrick Vieira, Seaman became great players and brought Arsenal the champions. Is today's management so poor to shop for players? It's a shame to see them go down in Championsihp.

As for the others, I am very happy that Ronaldo is back at Manchester United. He's not going to Manchester City which is widely reported. But I'm still curious what number he's wearing? Because number 7 is already in use by Cavani.

They don't have a great squad like in the old times from now on. And they are not even thinking of doing something about this situation also. However, they should revolutionize their squad to hope for a success. Otherwise, there is no way out for them like this. If they start signing top players and build a brand new team, then we can talk about how successful they can be.

This might be the worse year for Arsenal. Everything is going from bad to worse and I don't believe that they will recover or get anything this year. In fact, they will need to do more to stay above the regulation zone, unless the management does something the final moment of transfers which I find difficult... Sad
694  Economy / Lending / Re: bitcoin loan with shares as collateral? on: August 28, 2021, 09:41:16 AM
It's a new account, my first post, and it's not the typical collateral of altcoins, so I wanted to put down plenty of collateral.

It's not the typical collateral but it's not valid collateral either.

It's purely for business - the company is in the process of listing some shares on a private/public market, if I pay $5k using loan with my personal shares as collateral instead of company paying it using its profits, then company's profit is $5k more and at a conservative 10x profit multiple the valuation is $50k more, so I'm paying $1.5k interest for at least $50k higher valuation on the market.

Private with Public has a big difference. So you want to buy more shares of the company with others money and use them as collateral, in order to look like someone else buying them? And how do you know that will be a conservative 10x profit? If not, you will not pay interest? I'm a bit confused...Undecided

Good point about liquidity, depending on valuation methodology bitcoin price would have to increase 3x-30x in valuation in 3 months for the bitcoin re-payment value in $ to match the market value of the collateral and both I and the company have plenty of assets in our war chests to re-pay earlier if such black swan event starts to happen.

If you and the company have plenty of assets, then buy these shares without taking a loan based on cryptocurrency (anonymous, unreversible). It's more than weird to come here and ask for a loan of ~$6k when the company (and you) are worth $10m and is on course (?) to do half-million dollars this year. Plus that you don't have to match the collateral but the loan amount (plus the interest) and in BTC not in fiat. Eg you will have to repay 0.156BTC either BTC has $10 or $10mil.

No accounts involved, I'll sign and e-mail a one page contract for shares as collateral and lender will be secured by the Securities Act of 1933 and the US legal system.

You will sign as who exactly? Who will verify that you are the real one and not some other using fake doxs and that this company exists and it's not an empty shell company? An e-mail with a name and a signature? Really now?! And please, don't through laws and acts just to convince us.

State of Delaware supports digital signatures.

Doesn't support though digital currencies.

Imho. it's a more secure collateral than any altcoin.

Just LMAO!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: August 27, 2021, 06:18:39 PM
Last night I watched the match between Rijeka and PAOK and there was an obvious difference in quality, Rijeka had no chance.
In fact, it is a miracle that PAOK did not beat Rijeka in the first game, but it is obvious that they are not completely ready yet, considering that the Greek championship has not started yet.
In the group stage of the competition PAOK will have a good chance to pass the group.

Indeed PAOK yesterday was very good and discipline in the entire game. They start the match as it was the second half of the first game, full pressing, 2 attempts that hit the posts, and eventually an early goal that put them in front. If they play like this, they have good chances to qualify for the next round.

I doubtthat they will give priority to this tournament and they will not play with main squad there. Maybe they will give more attention to it only in playoff stages where they will meet stronger teams. It's not very prestigous trophy, but for Spurs who haven't won any trophies for so long, Conference League title wouldn't be bad achievement.

I agree with you. At least for this stage of the competition, Tottenham will not put at risk or "burn" any of its main players. And why should do it?
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 27, 2021, 06:00:55 PM
Euro 2020 championship didn't come HOME but Cristiano Ronaldo did. This transfer window is really one of the best, remarkable one as all the living legends are changing their clubs; mostly Messi and now CR7. It will be a pleasure to see him playing for Red Devils once again. I'm thrilled.
Quite off-topic- I was gonna buy some CITY fan token; glad I didn't LOL. It was an offside goal from ManU; not predictable at all.

IMHO it wasn't an offside goal from Man Utd. In fact, it would be an offside goal from Man City if CR7 sign there. Since Man Utd was one of the teams that want him, I put them as the only favorites to get his signature and I didn't doubt that he will agree. Besides, it's the team of his heart and he will be treated like a King without any doubts.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 27, 2021, 03:14:50 PM
I don’t think Cristiano Ronaldo is still coming to Manchester city. Rumors has it that Man city has pulled out of the deal. They have quit the on going negotiations.  Manchester United are leading the race to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford after Manchester City withdrew their interest in him. Jorge Mendes masterclass did this job, getting City to try to sign CR7 so as to force the Glazers and Manchester United to make a move for him. Man city ended up not going for the signing and Ronaldo goes back to Man united. I most confess this is one of the smartest  transfer businesses i have ever seen. That’s smart

It seems that you are right about Man City withdrawing its interest for CR7 and the only team that is in the race for his signature is Man Utd. There is a rumour that Man City doesn't want to give him a 2 year closed contract that's why they step off and probably never make an official proposal. Anyway, Cristiano wanted to leave Juventus and what a better place for him to return in Man Utd. I'm sure that his Man Utd jersey will be sold in minutes like Messi's... Cheesy
698  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: August 27, 2021, 02:53:08 PM
Today I receive an e-mail from Binance informing me that I have to pass "Intermediate Verification", in order to have complete access to all the Binance services.
If I did it in the next 2 weeks, they will credit me a $5 voucher that can be used for paying their trading fees.
So I'm guessing that time has come, at least for my region/ country...

P.S: It seems that if someone doesn't get fully verified/ "comply", restrictions will be very tight...

Have you followed this one? http://livecoin.news/index.html

If not then it isnt bad to take a shot and lets see if its real.

Until now, the only "people" that post about a repayment were newbies without any history whatsoever. If you want to risk your personal info and pass this unnecessary "KYC" procedure of them, then be my guess. They didn't ensure anyone how they will use them, they didn't secure anyone's funds, they can convince anyone that they didn't scam.
700  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for Loan, Have Collateral on: August 26, 2021, 04:12:20 PM
It's funny reading some of these loan requests.

i no longer need the amazon account, so im sure someone would make use of that 300$.
So, you are putting the collateral on the line which you don't really need. This indicates that you don't have a strong reason to repay the loan. If you are simply looking to sell the account with balance, this isn't the right section or way of doing it.

Even if OP really wanted to sell this account (which he/ she doesn't), it would be extremely difficult since, in almost any kind of account, the first owner of it can reclaim it back.
What I don't "understand" is why someone wants to buy an account (of such type) when he can open one in a matter of minutes and add whatever amount of funds he likes. Undecided

Instead of all these collaterals, it would have been much better if you told the source of repayment. You are saying that you will repay after 14 days of the loan sent but that shows you are somehow trying to earn money from the loan amount and then payback.

Actually no, it wouldn't matter at all. Who will vouch that even if OPs paperwork etc is the real deal and not some stolen doxs or edited ones, that he will repay when in fact he will have nothing to lose by just vanish? You, me, who?
Do you believe that it's easy to chase a defaulter even if you hold verified doxs or it's free of charge?
The safest and truest collateral is crypto. Everything else comes second by far, far, and far...
