681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 28, 2023, 05:49:56 AM
This is really sad situation in my opinion. Crypto casinos probably don't even wanna ban vpn usage themselves because many customers want to use them. But just by being legit business they need to obey some rules enforced by different countries to be permitted (or licensed). I think in past times things online, I mean businesses online were pretty much relaxed with such issues. Internet was supposed to be very free. Now its not free at all. Completely regulated.
That's because there are regulations from the government that make casinos add restrictions on using VPNs for their users.
But I think there are still casinos that allow their users to use VPNs but maybe there are other requirements that their members must meet.
And if VPN is banned in the casino, we better not try it or we can get caught by the casino and our account can be blocked.
Government regulations have become more stringent, so users seem to be limited by verification in many businesses.
Even if people do not like it we need to follow the rules of the casinos regarding VPNs, so if they state very clearly that using a VPN is a clear violation to their TOS then we need to accept it, and if for some reason someone finds critical to make use of a VPN while they gamble then they will have no other choice but to find another casino which is more permissive with their policies, however this has its own set of risks as a casino like that most likely lacks a casino license.
There is no excuse for gamblers if the casino has determined that using a VPN is prohibited so if a gambler is caught using a VPN, the casino can do something about it.
We also must not violate the rules in the casino rather than jeopardize our gambling account and get banned from the casino.
If we don't like the casino, we can look for other casinos that allow us to use a VPN to play gambling more freely by hiding our IP.
After all, although many casinos don't allow their users to use VPNs, they still allow their users not to do KYC, which should be our concern.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 27, 2023, 03:11:42 PM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?

Funny thing is, even while these things happen to people who aren't yet gambling addicts, many of us have made the decision to never gamble again in our lives after losing some money, and we still do it till today.
The worst part is that when you are already addicted to gambling, even if you lose millions every day, you will still gamble. I believe that this is worse than we that take it normally do because when we don't have any money to gamble, we won't risk it, but for someone who is already addicted, even if there is no money, they will find a way to continue gambling, even if it means taking out a loan.

It would be better if we decide never to gamble again because we already have the experience of losing at gambling.
But most people will not stop and keep gambling even though they have lost several times before.
What keeps them coming back to gambling because they think that if they win, they can withdraw the money but that is not the case.
And that's what makes them addicted to gambling and it's hard to cure.
And we shouldn't be disappointed if we still decide to return to gambling even though we gamble regularly.

684  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 21, 2023, 08:42:25 AM

Those incidents are often happen in some of non reputed casino. Which is not known unless revealed. Most of the time this type of intention happens in casinos that plan to scam. Reputed casino don't take much time after submit KYC. Either they will approve it or reject. When casinos deserve that 30 times the profit will be withdrawn they exploit that issue. But in this perspective there is no reason to call their fault even though their motives were not honest. Should not gamble on any trustless site.

There are many people who do not know about cheating in gambling on the part of platforms. This means people who just want to play a little roulette or other slot machines solely for the sake of entertainment. And they do not know which casinos are reliable, such as those that sponsor subscriptions on our forum, and which gambling services are not reliable. Of course, many of these unreliable casinos require a KYC. They are created in order only to accumulate user documents in Big Date, and then sell them to Dark Net. In fact, many of them only look like casinos, having a simple interface.
That's a whole lot of accusations, let's just pray that we don't fall into that kind of hands, even the ones that look most legit could do such a thing. This is not only applicable to casinos, but also to financial institutions and I have proof of that with my past experiences where I am sure that my data was leaked. But at times, the company itself might not know about this, it could be some randy employees they trusted with people's data.

Regardless, we should keep the possibility of our data leak minimal by only using duly registered and regulated companies, which might limit it but can't still guarantee the safeguarding of the leak.
Only by being careful when playing gambling or following promos can we do so we don't get caught in a scam casino trap.
Usually, users are caught in such a situation because they follow a promo given by the casino so they are interested and deposit the minimum amount of money required to get the bonus.
Apart from that, we also have to pay attention if we want to do KYC at a casino and only choose casinos that have been proven to be trusted by many people to avoid cases of fraud that still occur frequently.
We don't really know which casino will end up being a scam but as long as we always choose the casino carefully, I think we should be fine.
And even though there will be data leaks in some casinos, I don't think it will happen to us as long as we are careful.

686  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: June 10, 2023, 02:14:10 PM
It's amazing, but many gamblers play casinos just to get rid of the money. Many writers, musicians and poets have played in casinos and lost large sums of money. They had no money after they lost and to support themselves they wrote their works. Losing was an inspiration to them.

We have to realize that not all gamblers count loosing in gambling as a big challenge, the greatest fear of some gamblers is the most desiring thing others have loved to do, there are many talents showcase on the gambling casino house and people spend alot of money there not minding how much have they spent through the process as long as they were been served with enough entertainment, that is their own choice and lifestyle they choose together with gambling.
In fact, these people cannot use gambling as a stress reliever after finishing their activities so they don't experience such defeats.
But unfortunately, they are tempted by the offers provided by the casino so they follow their lust to play gambling and do not realize that they have actually lost too much money.
It won't do them any good if they spend their money on gambling while following a lifestyle that doesn't suit them.
It's better for them to keep working as usual and not get close to gambling so they can enjoy life better.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 08, 2023, 07:28:09 AM
I'd rather not use that coin to gamble because I don't see that I have a big chance of winning a lot.
I prefer to move my coins elsewhere, store them, and wait for the next government regulations because who knows if the government will allow crypto trading again.
Using coins to gamble won't give good results, but some people may try it anyway because they feel they have good luck.
But hopefully, those who think like that will be wise because gambling is not a place to earn money.
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to Hodl or buy the Dip? on: June 07, 2023, 01:13:51 PM
This is still a good opportunity to buy bitcoin especially yesterday when the bitcoin price dropped to $25k.
But many people panicked at yesterday's drop and thought the bitcoin price would drop even further.
They didn't see it as an opportunity to buy more bitcoins but instead decided to sell some bitcoin.
And when they saw that the price could increase again to the current level, they were too late to buy at yesterday's low.
And if you can buy it at yesterday's or today's price, you can hold it until the price goes up.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A Bitcoin Exchange That Pays Most of Fees for You? on: June 06, 2023, 11:10:26 AM
No Bitcoin exchange pays the fee for us as the fee will be deducted from our total withdrawal.
And if that's the case, your withdrawal amount will decrease but it's okay if you withdraw a large amount of money.
As far as I know, the exchange doesn't take up to 2 days to receive your Bitcoin because that's what I experienced.
For the fees, we can't resist high transaction fees because the exchange has to adjust the transaction fees according to the conditions that occur on the network.
To deal with high fees, you need to be patient and wait until the transaction costs can go down but if you are not willing to wait, you have to pay high fees.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you support bitcoin as Global reserve currency? on: June 03, 2023, 03:44:38 PM
Even the president of El Salvador is using bitcoin as an investment, how can he teach people about bitcoin as a currency? They accept bitcoin as legal tender because they are on the verge of bankruptcy and have no other solution. And bitcoin becoming a global reserve currency will never happen unless governments figure out how to control it. A decentralized, highly volatile asset that will never become a currency or national reserve asset.
The government will not be able to control bitcoin, but it can control the people who own it by asking them to verify.
Only by learning can people become more familiar with bitcoin to start using it.
But to become a global reserve currency, it requires the approval of all governments and it's not easy for governments to accept, especially when you see that the price of bitcoin still often rises very high and falls very deeply.
Maybe when the bitcoin price is less volatile and difficult to move the price, the new government wants to use bitcoin as a global reserve currency but I don't know.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefit of bitcoin on: June 01, 2023, 09:45:04 AM
Bitcoin is an unstoppable technology that has a long term life span that counts across generations and time, this is not the like of technology that could a possible interruption of its development, but between we must have a balanced ground that will lead us to any possible future goals and aspirations that caught across that time.

Are you sure that bitcoin is unstoppable, are sure if bitcoin technology can continue to pass from one generation to another generation, bitcoin is a technology and I can see that technology of bitcoin can be double chances by another technology that deals with finance and appropriately looks like bitcoin, if such technology come to exist, it will take over bitcoin and people will like to test such technology
For now, bitcoin technology can still run well and no one has been able to stop bitcoin.
But if later in the future, several hundred years later, technology advances, it is possible that bitcoin technology will become obsolete and abandoned. We also don't know what will happen next.
And for now, we still believe bitcoin technology will still dominate crypto and be the crypto leader, so we have to use it to our advantage.
And bitcoin will still be around for a few years to come, maybe for generations to come so it's an advantage for us and the generations after us.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just how bad is the bear demand right now on: May 31, 2023, 09:13:29 AM
the current bear market I think is just as bad but what's more impactful this year, as it is accompanied by global world news that throws things out of control.
but anything else is getting crypto back up, just waiting for the good news to come out.
yes the bear market this time is the same as 2018-2020,
2021 is the beginning of the bear market and until 2023 and there is still no sign that the bear market has finished,
I don't know I'm still waiting for bullish, I heard the news that 2024 will start, is that true?
The bear market this time may be almost over because it's almost time for bitcoin to get a halving.
And with halvings that will happen, hopefully, this year will be the last year for a bear market so at the end of the year or the beginning of the year, we will see a bull market occur.
If that's true, we will be able to get big profits again like before because there are lots of potential coins that have the opportunity to increase greatly.
So we all don't need to worry about the current bear market and it's better just to prepare the coins so we can sell them at the peak price later when the bull market comes.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you decide on a buy price target? on: May 31, 2023, 04:07:22 AM
@OP should look for other coins that also have the potential to go up, especially if the coins that caught @OP's attention have risen.
That would get him stuck buying at a high price and having to wait a long time to be able to sell them and that is if the coins can go higher than the price he bought them for.
In buying a coin or coins, I will pay attention to when the price can go down and if it can go down further, it will be an opportunity to buy it.
If I saw the drop deep, I might buy it for less money to see if there would be another dip.
But if not, I will increase my purchase amount for more quantity.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 29, 2023, 03:17:31 PM
We need more people to do gambling statistics for sure. I think gambling companies have this data in background but they will never release it because it's business secret. Individuals can measure statistics tho. Not so hard you can just write down how many times a month you win or how much you win etc. Glorious stories are very exeggarated. Pretty sure there are great slot gamblers around the world but regular John Doe can't be honest if claims he is king of slots.
Casinos will never release their business statistics because it is subject to confidentiality.
But indeed, gamblers should have data about their gambling games so that it can provide information about whether they have won a lot of money or if they have experienced many defeats.
But maybe the gambler can look in his betting record to transfer it to his own book to see how it went while he was gambling.
Yes, I am sure there are great slot gamblers worldwide but they don't say or tell stories about their wins.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAGNATION OF BITCOIN PRICE FOR WEEKS on: May 29, 2023, 06:44:28 AM
Not all sideway is the perfect chance to buy bitcoin.  There some instances where a sharp drop followed a sideway move of the bitcoin market.  It is when the market is coming from recording the ATH and the bull market is transitioning to a bear market.  But I agree that at the current condition of the market, it is a good time to buy Bitcoin now before the market is fully transitioned to bullish and start surging.
That's true because, usually, sideways can only happen briefly and trap us into buying at the current price.
But if they want to buy the sideways, we can only suggest buying with a small amount of money to check the market situation and from there, we can see what will happen in the next hour.
Usually, after an hour, there will be movement, either up or down so we can decide to buy again or keep holding it.
And right now, they should just hold on to their bitcoins because the price has gone up a lot higher than yesterday but if they still want to check the situation, they can buy more because the situation is still unpredictable.
696  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i can manage my job and my Bitcoin Trading at the same time? on: May 28, 2023, 02:25:46 PM
Maybe the first thing you should do is check how much you are spending each month to find out if there is an error or if it is your regular monthly expenses.
This is important because if your salary is $1k per month and your living expenses reach $900, maybe you need a side job that can provide more money.
But if you don't want to look for a second job, you can start learning about trading and ensure you have better skills to start trading.
You have to be able to set a time to start trading and you are lucky to want to trade in crypto because you can get into the crypto market any time you want so if you only have the night to trade, that should be enough.
Timing is the most important before you start trading, especially if you have a steady job.
697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not rely on articles as resources to learn Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 11:58:41 AM
That's why we must collect more information about what we need and compare it.
If the articles we find are different, we need other articles to know which are accurate and which are inaccurate.
Indeed, it is very difficult to trust the articles we get and it takes time but if we have found the right place, I don't think it will be difficult anymore.
We don't believe in what we get from the internet because we don't know the motives of each person who spreads that information.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is one limitation of bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 09:05:32 AM
There may be some truth in what @ OP said because if the government turns off internet services in one country, they can't use Bitcoin.
But with the current conditions, the government will not turn off internet services.
Maybe they will only limit internet services and allow citizens to access sites deemed not to endanger the government.
But we know that nowadays, people can still use a VPN to bypass government restrictions to read or know more information.
And maybe that's a Bitcoin limitation that can prevent users from accessing Bitcoin.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to altcoins ? on: May 27, 2023, 02:42:57 PM
Altcoins are indeed more unstable than bitcoin. If you have bought several altcoins and they have the potential to increase, you can hold onto them until the situation reverses.
Maybe you can say what altcoins you have bought besides ETH but if you only have ETH, I guess you can buy it again at the current price because it can lower your average purchase price.
I hope you can be patient until things change for the better because you are not alone in holding the altcoin.
And while the bear season is still in the market, you can use it to buy more and keep it but beware of the many corrections that may still occur.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fool to keep it online, look my name on: May 27, 2023, 10:10:04 AM
In my opinion, if our assets are donated, of course the money we give will not be able to return to us again, the point is that we will definitely lose.
but if we put our assets on the stock exchange, of course we can say that there will be no loss or loss as long as they are stored on a trusted exchange.

so here's the comparison, if you donate it, it's clear that you will lose, but if you put it on the stock exchange, you won't necessarily lose.

but if investing for the long term in btc
the safest still is that it should be kept in a hardware wallet.
Why do you think if you donate, we will lose?
If you donate your wealth to those in need, social institutions, war victims, and people who are undernourished, you will get something other than wealth, such as health and others.
I don't feel that donating will cost us anything but can give us a way to gain something else.
Indeed, the amount of money we have will decrease, but the decrease in money is due to good deeds that will also have a good impact on us.
And if you place or store your assets on an exchange, you don't know how safe your assets are and it's better for you to keep your assets in a private wallet.
