681  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 22, 2017, 04:38:46 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.

BItcoin is already a global currency, the adoption of it is not only in asian countries, but worldwide too Bitcoin in also in some other nations declared as their legal currency through merchants.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: April 22, 2017, 03:21:27 PM
Hey! Good day i really need some answers because its about gambling in your life and other people are playing for it with heart and i just thought that how can gambling help you with your life? and do you gain something from it? does it help you to be wise or worst your attitude will change.. i need answers please!
Gambling, isn't a kind of job that can give you a daily profit, unless you have 100% full of luck in gambling where you always win in the games. BUt the reality is not, which means can't help us in our lives in terms of giving profit anyway.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: April 22, 2017, 03:11:01 PM
Playing gambling isnt a sin because its just a game which you would entertain yourself in the times you were bored or seeking for leisure times but gambling would create a sin when the times when you did things like greediness and possible making illegal actions because of addiction.
I would say yes, it's not a sin. We play it to have fun and we know the risks in gambling so we have to manage ourselves carefully. It's okay to lose if you are getting the fun you are looking and to lose is just part of the life of being a gambler and as long as we know our limit and we do it responsibly there would be no problem in the future and there is no one we will blame.
Maybe you had a point on your statement, gambling literally is not a sin it will become a sin only once the behavior of the gambler/players will change into bad attitude because of greediness. But like what everybody said if we treat gambling as for fun and amusement only, perhaps nothings wrong with that matter.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 22, 2017, 01:43:28 PM
As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

In gambling site, once you play in the games it does not means you are greed at once of course is not like that. It will come only once you have a desire to become rich in a short period of time. Like if you are inside the gambling world and playing their games then you are already winning big amount in your bankroll then you never stop because you are thinking that its your lucky day and you can win more or lots of money but in the end you will loss more than the amount of your winning price instead of stop playing the games.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: April 22, 2017, 01:25:53 PM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

That would depend on the games you are going to play, if the games is like a poker games or blackjack, and sports betting these are the games which I think that analysis is very useful to this matter.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: April 22, 2017, 12:53:57 PM
How to make a decent amount with 0.01BTC  in good time? Any good strategy or any method? Or any tips please?

To gain 0.01BTC, you can join in signature campaign and you can do make some trade in the exchange platform. Because in trading you can make a lot of profit, and that would depend on you if you can earn big.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: April 22, 2017, 12:31:37 PM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?
Ever since from the beginning doing trade is better than gambling, because it is the place where you can have different assets here in this industry while in gambling is the place where your just throwing your money even your doing it for entertainment. It is still a gambling where you can waste you money anytime. Cheesy
688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: April 21, 2017, 11:49:42 PM
I want to know if anyone here gambles or have gambled under the age of 18, I feel like there are many kids who do this and I am interested to see how many people actually gamble under 18, if you have any friends that gamble or have gambled under 18 include them.

EDIT: I mean mostly kids online, its hard to be a kid and gamble physically. I feel like the gambling rate for kids is increasing a lot and is gonna be a problem in the future, especially with the CS:GO situation.

EDIT2: Another question to ask, is what is your opinion on the topic of kids gambling, do you think it is a growing problem or a problem alone for that matter?

EDIT3: What is the best way to counter this problem without websites having to know your exact identity?
You didn't specify your question if it is in the internet or physical gambling. Because in physical gambling it is easy to determine if the kids doing gambling but if this is for bitcoin online gambling that would be hard to trace it because of the anonymity and pseudonymous.
689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: April 21, 2017, 11:37:54 PM
I have found a new strategy. Its called the Delayed Parachute and was meant for roulette but i played it and it was quite strong.

Remember roulette has an average house edge of 2.4%, dice has 1% or less.
Its a strategy that scrapes profit, slows down losses, waits it out, and moves forward Cheesy, with few big wins along the way.

I played this system manually and did +150 units, and my brain couldn't take it, so if someone could please programme this using dicebot i would be grateful, and will sling a donation your way if i ever get out of the seemingly never ending crytpo-trade im doing atm.

heres it is:

even chance = 2x, 2 rolls maximum, basebet = 1 unit
dozens = 3x, 3 rolls max, bb = previous +1
double street = 6x, 6 max, bb = " 3
corner = 9x , 9 ", bb = " 4
street = 12x 12 ", = " 5
split = 18x 18 ", = " 6

you start at level 1 (even chances).
you roll according to the roll limit, if you hit and you break even or make profit, you restart at even.

if you roll, you hit and dont break even or make profit, then you move onto the next

if you loose the whole level, then you drop back one level, or if on level 1, just restart.

-- but use common sense, from 6x upwards, 1 or 2 units away from profit isn't that bad, is it worth the risk going up a level just for that?

-- i had a variation where i would keep playing and not jumping forward on a no profit hit but kept rolling until i got a streak of losses = to max rolls then moving up a level, or until i hit and was in profit then i would reset (whichever came first) < that made it more of a scavenger strategy, but it worked well)

-- i played switching from high to low each bet, but do what you want.

-- you could change the level betting progression to maybe 2 4 6 8 10 12,  martingale 2 4 8 16 32 64, fibonnaci 1, 1, 2 , 3, 5, 8 etc. but that could change its characteristics of a delayed parachute. (i might go back and try the fibonacci)

what if you loose at 18 and want to recover faster, drop back and switch to a different progression?.

Tweak it, if you see a reason to, but only after you have played and have seen the best and worst of the strategy.

And bankroll that can handle the lows + betting patterns that don't break the bank and can make profit = good Money management.

Do what you want, its a good system.
No! I don't want to apply it, it maybe your idea only but you didn't shows any proof if that system is really effective. But the system was more on martingale system. However, don't make so sure or comfortable if that thing will really help you.
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: April 21, 2017, 11:24:53 PM
hello,

What is your opinion bout this.

If for example one match of basketball game ratio is 1.05, so it means it's 95% to win.  VS casino game like dice which is also 95% chance to win.
Which one is more risky ?
In my assessment and opinion gambling was designed to give loss most of the time for the players/gamblers. Imagine if there is 100 gamblers in the gambling sites the house edge is always giving a bad result for the gamblers, which means only 1 percent is have a chance to win in every game round  so 99% percent is the profit of the owner.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: April 21, 2017, 11:13:51 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley
This is the main problems/circumstances of a gambler which is giving up the isn't easy for them to quit in gambling, it is because of addiction they already had in their personalities. They always said its for fun and entertainment only, but unknowingly they never notice in the long run addiction is still coming for them.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites earnings? on: April 21, 2017, 11:05:27 PM
I was always curious about knowing how much gambling sites actually earns and how profitable is it for them considering that some websites such PrimeDice are running for years now and bitcoin price is going up and down since then so how do they manage to keep their reserve filled and make profit in same time ?
As far as I know in every gambling owner in online site they always get profit everyday for every players who get in to their sites. ANd of course one of those method why they gain a profit is they get charge for every transaction every time the gamblers are making withdrawal there is a percentage charge. Even bitcoin get high increase it wouldn't affect them at all unless no gambler are not playing the game in the gambling sites.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: April 21, 2017, 10:44:14 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
As long as bitcoin exist and the community using it there's no chance for the other cryptocurrency to replace it. But once bitcoin disappear that's the only time for cryptocurrency to replace it, but now it's too impossible to replace by somebody else.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 21, 2017, 10:25:19 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

So far  I am using Electrum wallet, multibit hd, mycelium, and exchange wallet. Which is so far I don't have any issues problem that I encountered before. Which means its really helpful to me Wink
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 21, 2017, 10:05:06 PM
I think bitcoin will be die if no one use bitcoin. Because people that make bitcoin is worthed. There are a lot of people that use bitcoin for their daily life especially some people in city that so many merchant in there that accept bitcoin.
Agreed, it will only happen if bitcoin users will disappear. But that's not going to be happen especially now bitcoin usage is very popular, and features of bitcoin is very useful too.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: April 21, 2017, 09:37:01 PM
I like bitcoin because is a source of income for me and is my way to "obtain foreign exchange", also I like that exist many ways to earn with Bitcoin. I love the Bitcoin's decentralization and the fact that we can send money easily to the persons even to other countries with the best cost-effective prices
Decentralization is the number 1 reason why bitcoin community embraced it so much, because no one can't control your own bitcoin balance and no tax at all too. Which other business can't do it ever! but in bitcoin is very powerful and effective anyway this might be the reason why  its pseudonymous and very easy to use.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 21, 2017, 09:08:04 PM
In my opinion bitcoin is an assets for me which but I could also says its money because I can convert it into a real cash. Moreover, as we going to look at it it is actually used as online payment or electronically used in online business mode of payment. Meaning, Bitcoin is not like a gold. Wink
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: April 21, 2017, 12:44:07 PM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
As far as I know there is no bank that accepting bitcoin at the present time now, and the only company I knew they accepted bitcoin was Dell, Amazon, mercedez, apple and also in the near future many of the upcoming company will adopt the system of bitcoin.
699  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 20, 2017, 05:23:51 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I think majority of the bitcoin fanatic are relying to this concept and believing  that someday they will become rich once bitcoin reach the highest peak price of bitcoin which is 10,000$ that's why many are holding bitcoin for a long time basis.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 20, 2017, 05:12:00 PM
In my point of view it is better to assign some part of money for investing and some part for saving in a good place.
They  are both good actually, saving money was the safest things to do it will surely can give you a big profit at the right time, However you can also make some investing if you want to roll up your capital in just a matter of short period of time.
