6801  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: August 24, 2017, 10:45:40 AM
Maybe bitcoin can help people who are in conflict zone .. it just takes internet and electricity network to send bitcoin aid to them. Although it also needs a bank that can dilute bitcoin into fiat form. Maybe in the bitcoin conflict zone is not so needed, they need food, clothing and medicine. But bitcoin can buy all that. I think bitcoin can help them

That can hardly be done remotely. If you want to send in aids to these conflict zones you have to do the convertion yourself. The people there are already confused and suffering why make it complicated for them to get the help?
6802  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: August 24, 2017, 10:38:04 AM
we do not need more retailers to accept bitcoin when the number of bitcoin users is still very small. What we need is that more and more people will get into bitcoin and use it as an investment first. Then, retailers can open a store which accepts bitcoi to attract them.

Indeed. What we need right now is the high demand of the bitcoin users. If the government will see the huge population of the users they will make an ordinance about it and when the legislative and the president signed up for this then that will be the time they implemented it to the merchants. Japan is a very good example to this, they have hundreds of merchants as well as bitcoin is legal here.

Off course. One thing follow another. When we have more demand for users to pay in bitcoin then we will have retailers to accept it. Japan is first to come with this and hope that will have better expansion of countries accepting it next year with maybe China and Russia as players in this. Possible some other countries as well can be joining it in this.
This is the start of the revolution of bitcoin for the world and the big countries already made a move and now it will be easier for the other countries to follow and accept bitcoin because they already saw that the big countries are doing it and as a country that it is in the modern world then there is nothing to waste in grabbing this opportunity (Cryptocurrency).

I think it still needs promotion. These countries that accepted btc are those that are open to change and progress like japan. If this is used and applied in smaller countries like thailand or he philippines, then more and more retailers would follow suit
6803  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 24, 2017, 10:34:35 AM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Bitcoin will always be a good investment in terms of online busines, due to it is already proven and tested and many of the community here can testify it here in the forum. Because your capital will srely increase or sky rocket going to the moon price by next year, so buy now then hold yor bitcoin. Cheers! Cheesy

Well there probably are less non believers now than last year. Imagine if you forgot about your bitcoins last year when it hasn't yet breached the 1k mark? You'll now have a very handsome profit in a span of less than a year. That's way better than keeping your money in a bank
6804  Economy / Economics / Re: Pump and dump is the name of the game. on: August 24, 2017, 10:21:41 AM
Did you guys noticed what was happening recently in the crytocurrency world?
People pump certain coin and then dump it later when the price hit the highest level.
And then buy later when the price dip to the lowest level.

What do you think of this? Share your thoughts Grin

This has always been how trading works especially for smaller coins. If you have a lot of btc, you can pump a coin yourself and then dump. If not, observe coin movements so you can ride whales when they pump and dump a coin
6805  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: August 24, 2017, 10:17:18 AM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.

Of course you should. Just i would cash out 60% only and keep rest for future or something else, in case that price rises even more. So yeah, if price will be ever high enough for you to buy house, then you should do that. Bitcoin price might fall down or you simply might lose them, but if you buy house before that nobody will take it from you.

Who told that nobody can not take it from you, if your property value goes up then their are chances of political person or any high profile likes your property then they will force you to leave your property. So their are always danger in any position, but it is true that investing in property is good idea because life's 50% of expenses is on giving house rent , so the main problem will be solved if you have own property and Bitcoin can fullfill your wish.

Well yeah you can say that there is risk like this to lose your property... But chances are really tiny, it probably won't ever happen if he would buy it. I think chances that hackers will steal his bitcoins or that he will lose them are much higher, and of course chance that bitcoin will crash is even larger.
There is no risk in buying a house with bitcoins. A nice shelter is the basic necessity of the human life and we all earn money just to fulfill first our basic needs and then secondary ones. Yep, it could be little risky to keep bitcoins in wallets for long time because there are too many hackers active to hack bitcoins.
If I were on the original poster's shoe, I would definitely buy a house and lot now and enjoy living without mortgage. Having a house is a real asset and it is completely yours with no risk at all. Anyway you still had a portion of your bitcoin left so hold the remaining bitcoin you had. For sure you will still get profit on it in the future.

If oportunity presents itself to you to but a house using btc, then don't waste it. And it will be beneficial for the seller as well as in time they may even get double the amount they aold their house for.
6806  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 24, 2017, 10:12:59 AM
I do not want to be under control of a government and for that reason I don't want cash to be abolished.
I think its quite the opposite dude. A cashless society run through crypto cannot be controlled by either governments or banks. The current fiat system is centralized and controlled so what youbwould want here is a system run through cryptocurrencies
6807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: buying btc with xrp... on: August 23, 2017, 04:28:59 PM
I think you can checkout the information regarding XRP/BTC pair on any exchanger,, I guess livecoin has most trading volume for this pair so you may wanna try it out there,,

Keep some ripple for holding a while longer. I've been looking at this coin for sometime now and it hasn't moved like how i wanted it to but it may give you good profit in a few years. Don't exhaust all your xrp for btcs just yet
6808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I convert my bitcoin to Ethereum? on: August 23, 2017, 04:25:31 PM
When investing, I’m a big fan of diversification of portfolios. I believe that both Ethereum and Bitcoin offer value, albeit in different ways.

Even though Ethereum is positioning itself to become a large platform, the fact that Bitcoin is so well known makes it the first place where people invest.
And that's why if you have a choice between the two, better stick to the trusted and proven btc. Etherium will have its day sometime but its bitcoin's time. Simply holding on to your bitcoins would result in good profit already so why convert to eth?
6809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had 1000$ to invest in Altcoins long term, which one would you choose? on: August 23, 2017, 04:23:29 PM
Not counting btc, which is a very good investment for that amount, i think i won't risk getting into less established altcoins. Etherium is the first thing that comes tobmy mind. Perhaps diversify into some other coins like ltc, ripple and digibyte a little.
6810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: August 23, 2017, 04:20:44 PM
I'd still prefer ether for now. Waves has been making waves that's correct and with a good team behind it, it would make it far. Even before waves was released there have already been hypes about this coin but i think eth right now is more established as the alt second to btc
6811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 23, 2017, 04:12:46 PM
Bcc would never be beyond an altcoin behind regular leaders like etherium. I don't think its going to go to the dirt but it won't have much sucess as well because it doesn't have that many followers. Probably not yet right now, but it will never catch up to btc
6812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose good ICO? on: August 23, 2017, 04:08:43 PM
I usually research about the dev team behind an ico before i invest because that would determine how the ico will move forward. If it has a good dev team, you'll know by reading threads and comments here.
6813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 23, 2017, 04:06:27 PM
Sold it a couple of days after i got the free ones in my wallet. I don't really think bcc would have a very bright future that it can exceed btc or even etc. Better sell it while the price is still as it is.
6814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: August 23, 2017, 03:47:24 PM
The problem nearly everyone experiences from time to time is dealing with the emotions. Sometimes it just gets a bit too much, especially if the price is falling dramatically. it takes all the patience in the world to not start selling in a panic

Well not everyone though. At first ypu're probably right. But emotions take a back seat once you've seen several situations already and learn how to deal with them through experience.
6815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you keep track of your wins/losses ? on: August 23, 2017, 03:42:00 PM
Most exchanges will allow you to view your trade history so you only have to check to review your previous trades, profits and losses. There are also helpful apps that you can download but i prefer just checking history.
6816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: August 23, 2017, 03:22:04 PM
Two years ago I panicked and lost 2,8BTC t win just 5$ more... That is actually the thing I regret the most in my life. It took me quite some time to forget about it, but now I am totally decided to earn them back.
If that is the biggest regret in your life then you are doing good, losing that amount of money is bad, but as you say in your post you can always get that amount of money back by trading or by offering products and services in this forum, the most important thing is to never give up, a year ago I spent a full bitcoin in stuff I needed and now I’m slowly getting it back.
That's good. Almost all the time, panic ends up in losses. I lost a lot of btcs when i was just starting to trade due to panic, only to see the coins recover after a dump. Though improvement always comes after a setback and as you trade more, panic doesn't have thst much hold anymore
6817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money? on: August 23, 2017, 03:18:52 PM
If I have 0$ at the moment can I make 100$ in 2 or 3 months? How?
What if I deposited 20$ .. Can I make them 100$ in less time?

You can earn a lot of profit even though you don't have a capital. You can join in signature campaign that you can earn bitcoins and other altcoins. Just work hard and work smart and you can earn $100 in 2-3 months.

Right. Thanks to btc's price jump, signature campaigns now are more than just side earnings because you can earn as much as a regular man's job salary if you're lucky. Imagine if btc's price goes up more. Hopefully that doesn't affect negatively the campaigns
6818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: August 23, 2017, 03:05:46 PM
Definitely bitcoin does a big potential or future.. Because as you can see the bitcoin price or value is getting high so meaning it is indemand nowadays..
There are many people saying that bitcoin doesn't have a future, I know all of them are wrong. The bitcoin today proving that it is the most strongest currency. I can say that bitcoin have a future.
Yes that's right, bitcoin still has a future, even more so the high price currently gives a big boost that bitcoin will be increasingly in need in the future. So many projects with bitcoin platforms, so in the future there will be a place for bitcoin, where bitcoin will be searched by all business people.
At this point? I don't think there are a lot of people who are thinking that btc doesn't have a future. We've all been witnesses to how it evolved and now its getting more attention to draw more interest from people.
6819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does it mean to invest in bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 03:03:43 PM
In order to answer this question the first thing you need to answer is what do you mean when you say you want to invest in Bitcoin. Do you want to buy the currency in hopes it will appreciate it value? Do you want to invest in Bitcoin related companies? Are you looking to day trade with Bitcoins?
I think most of us will agree that the first thing you mentioned is how you invest in btc. Its same as investing in stocks. You buy a certain amount and you keep it until it gives you good profit. The difference compared to stocks is that your investments take shorter time to grow and its more dramatic when it comes to the amount you'll earn
6820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: August 23, 2017, 03:00:03 PM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?

You should hold bitcoin, but patience and emotion control needed. I didn't recommend to trading altcoin but if you want, please hold it like btc ( long time period ). For me, trading is more difficult than investment and most people loss with that option. Besides that, btc price action history and volume always raise up than another coin. Prepare your stop loss before trade/ investment to minimalize your loss. There's risk you must face it with your trading decision. Be patience and have a nice day.
not all altcoins are good for holding though. Some are short lived and if you don't exit at the right time, you're money's going to be wasted. For btc, well yeah holding is the wisest thing to do. We don't really know until what price is btc going to end up, but looking at the current happenings, it may still have a long way to go so holding is a lot better and profitable
