The spacefaring perspective was captured last July by astronaut Scott Kelly during his stay on board the International Space Station. The same Scott Kelly who didn't know how to pronounce his fellow astronaut's last name, so he asked him on live TV.

That's not the way our government works. They cannot outlaw bitcoin. We have the right to private property and there is a long standing coupon called "Canadian Tire Money" that is widely used. If you look at the development of Canada's banking and money you will see many private coupons. These were all legal.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/hammiehill![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F2r3ZKsd.jpg&t=663&c=Dl0xBIuJotoayA) Hammie Hill owned https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forzani_Group. In 2011, Canadian Tire bought Forzani for $771 million, and has since embarked on a large scale brand restructuring. Canadian Tire: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_TireThe retailer is known for its Canadian Tire money, a loyalty program first introduced in 1958, where customers are provided with coupons resembling paper money worth 0.5% of their purchase that can be used in subsequent purchases as scrip at Canadian Tire stores and gas stations. Which begs the question: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Canadian?

Also, agreed with Armstrong 100%. Classic is the best implementation to support right now, but not necessarily long term. This is why we need multiple competing implementations of bitcoin for our collective health & future. Centralizing the power into Blockstream's hands so far seems to have been a very bad idea. Can't get over their shadiness. Adam Back claiming to have invented bitcoin, Austin Hill scammed 100k out of people when he was 16. Can't trust these people. Makes you wonder who was behind the DDoS of classic/XT nodes.
Looks like Austin Hill and Adam Back's relationship goes back to 1997: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_Knowledge_SystemsZero-Knowledge Systems (also known as ZKS) was a Canadian privacy technology software and services company, best known for the Freedom Network, its privacy network. It was founded by brothers Austin Hill & Hamnett Hill and their father Hamnett Hill Sr. (aka Hammie Hill) in 1997. Its headquarters were in Montreal, Quebec. Early investors and board members were Mike Santer and Alex Hern co-founder Inktomi. The company still exists under the new name Radial Point though is no longer a developer of privacy-enhancing technologies.
...
Several of the company's employees were from an academic privacy-enhanced technology background: Dr Stefan Brands (senior cryptographer) and cypherpunk background Dr Ian Goldberg (chief scientist) and Dr Adam Back (architect & cryptographer). Hammie Hill owned https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forzani_Group. In 2011, Canadian Tire bought Forzani for $771 million, and has since embarked on a large scale brand restructuring. Let's jump to Canadian Tire on Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_TireThe retailer is known for its Canadian Tire money, a loyalty program first introduced in 1958, where customers are provided with coupons resembling paper money worth 0.5% of their purchase that can be used in subsequent purchases as scrip at Canadian Tire stores and gas stations. My bad! Nothing to see here. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) But hey, for shits and giggles search "Canadian Tire" (with quotes) on this forum, then come back here in an hour or so and report your findings.

We have a few spots for advertising we will be opening up soon on the site so we made a couple banners and want to make them available so anyone who wants can use them. Here is one for Counter Strike ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fstakeminers.com%2Fimages%2Fhypercs.gif&t=663&c=gVr-22MC84CUcA) and one for Nuclear Dawn ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fstakeminers.com%2Fimages%2Fhypernd.gif&t=663&c=Hl048LrULJiV4g) Anybody advertising on StakeMiners will be considered scammers themselves since they'll prove that they have no scruples about manipulating their user base.

Spoet, Canadian office didnt get "an eviction notice". We got this unit a year ago and paid a year in advance. The lease is up in a month. They got it to test the Canadian market and try to dip our toes in, which as you know, sucks for alts. I will also point out that Canada and US companies are completely separate legal entities. You can sit and assume I know more than I've said, but I don't. I've explained everything I know, in detail. I'm just in the dark as you are. you'll say " If I was in your shoes blah blah blah " But you really have no clue. Those of us with jobs instead of government handouts find it hard to quit a job until they find a new one. I can't afford to just quit so I wanted to hold out for as long as I can hoping things get better and a statement is made. If one isn't made, I will be forced to but in the mean time I don't mind helping people where I can. I work paycheque to paycheque (paycheck for you 'mericans). I've literally been one of the only ones to help people so why people keep busting my ass personally is lost on me. I've been around, answering what I can. Helping people on site when I can. I'm not even corporate level at Cryptsy, so why you choose to go after head of investigations makes no sense. I get no joy out of this at all, believe me. I'm literally just here to try to answer what questions I can and be there for the community because I feel an obligation. Anyways, hopefully they make an announcement soon. You can then feel free to go after appropriate persons if it isn't fixed.
On a lighter note, Gleb, How did you know that was a Canadian bidet?! Keeps the cheeks oh so shiny.

Paul Vernon 160 Congress Park Dr. STE 101 Delray Beach FL 33445 United States In Canada a lying piece of shit Freemason can claim that he's not corporate level in spite of being listed as a director and living in the office-cum-residence of the corporation that he's not corporate level of. Totally motherfuckin' amazin'!

Yeah that's our Canadian office. Landlord put it up for sale and we only rent the space. Those look like same pics from when we saw it last year and rented it. So you're claiming that office is still an active Cryptsy headquarters? As opposed, of course, to the office you quietly abandoned in Florida? It is active for our Canadian branch, it has nothing to do really with the American branch. We had big plans for the Canadian branch but banks and payment processors had a different idea I suppose. The decision came to close this office down like EDIT* 3-4 months ago because of the issues we faced up here with opening the site. We are just have the office here until February 15 when lease is up because we don't really use it. In Canada, a space is considered empty when a person lives in it, along with broadcasting videos from the locale. In the hangout video John MacPherson aka Horus details how Cryptsy pays the rent for his digs, then gives a tour of the place. This truism alone is more than enough to prove that John MacPherson is one lyin piece of shit cocksucker that now has in his possession copies of vitals of tens of thousands of people which he no doubt is selling on the black market. You can take that fact to the fuckin' bank!

Could you do the same about ETH ico? There are millions of ico user who didn't sold eth bought during ico last year. But eth jumped from 0.002 to 0.03. Decred nothing. So, if you think that price is not rising cause airdrop, your'e totally out of mind. Price will rise if people trust decred and buy. It seems that people trust eth more than decred. ETH's been around much longer. Yes, I've been slightly critical of Decred, but am impressed with their work. <quasi-endorsement>

Brian Armstrong's thoughts after the satoshis roundtable meeting. Good read imo. https://medium.com/@barmstrong/what-happened-at-the-satoshi-roundtable-6c11a10d8cdf#.r8u9xyq16... The core team contains some very high IQ people, but there are some things which I find very concerning about them as a team after spending some time with them last weekend. 1. Some of them show very poor communication skills or a lack of maturity — this has hurt bitcoin’s ability to bring new protocol developers into the space. 2. They prefer ‘perfect’ solutions to ‘good enough’. And if no perfect solution exists they seem ok with inaction, even if that puts bitcoin at risk. 3. They seem to have a strong belief that bitcoin will not be able to scale long term, and any block size increase is a slippery slope to a future that they are unwilling to allow. ... This is fuckin' nuts! While reading the entire prose I was 100% in Brian's court admiring his writing prowess. That is until I got to the second-to-last sentence... ... Now, I can't get the smell of Marshall Long's balls outta my head.

Has the cryptsy chat been disabled?
Are you being Facetious? No, I have not logged in for sometime. DickShock banned me for posting the cost of rent for the condo Horus was living in payed by Cryptsy. Out of curiosity, how much was the cost of rent? Not that it matters now, but I want to see where some of my money went. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) U$2,500/mo, paid one year in advance. In essence, John MacPherson aka Horus lived rent and utility free along with his handsome salary affording him to live ONLY paycheque to paycheque, so he cried myriad times while amassing vitals of Cryptsy's marks to perhaps now sold on the black market. Horus' last words: I will do everything possible to helps those who lost millions get their moneys back. Then crickets, perhaps too busy minding affairs at his Freemason lodge.

The moral of the story, as always, you are better off not giving your coins/money to scumbags instead of giving your money to scumbags and hoping someone will come to your rescue.
And I really hope none of you geniuses think or ever thought there would be any other result from this. They were never shipping shit, they were never refunding shit. They are conmen and they took your money.
That's not even the funny part. The real laugh riot is when a bunch of antigovernment, anarchist, libertarian, save the world Bitcoiners have to seek the assistance of the very government they're fighting against to correct their mistakes. My absolute faves are the anarchists I used to talk to on this forum that believe in limited government and self reliance but were the first to cry to the government when pirate@40 fucked them over. ROFL Great! Piss off the Libertitards. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Every kid is a shit talking rebel until their mother slaps them in the face at their birthday party. Trusting monies to a business where the leader goes by "Big Vern" should always be a concern, but I also did it anyways.
Me too. I ignored the warning signs. So far I got caught with Mintpal (got my coins out). Gox, ($100) and now Cryptsy, .6 BTC and more in coin. No one to blame but myself ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Paycoin Garza era was my first big burn before Big Vern. I bought into hashlets and hashpoints hook, line and sinker. At the onset of the Garza era I phoned and spoke with one of his partners in Hattiesburg, MS, a town that I'm quite familiar with. I asked him how longed he lived there (was setting a trap) and he said most his life. He supposedly owned one of the buildings where GAW was to host some miners. I asked him if that building suffered any damage when the tornado went through. He asked me what tornado. I told him the one that went pass his building no more than two blocks away. Pause (I envisioning him Googling). Oh, that tornado. No, no damage to the building. I was lucky, he said (virtually exact words).

I got a restraining order to not come within 500 feet of The Inaba for posting a pic sourced from the Net of the master bathroom of the BTC-House that was taken two years prior to him moving in. Does that count since convicted in a court of law. Ironically, my conviction stemmed from an innocent proof that BFL was using BitPay as an exchange instead of just a third-party payment processor to the tune of over U$10M via the infamous 1QAHVyRzkmD4j1pU5W89htZ3c6D6E7iWDs bitcoin wallet address. I'm not sure if the KC FBI was versed beforehand, but I did get a thank you from them, especially for the part where I showed that the BTC-House was paid for in full directly and indirectly related to the BWA, as was the 10 BTC The Inaba paid me due to losing a bet that BFL was kind enough to send me an IRS 1099-Misc form to lessen their tax liability, of which the IRS also thanked me for the info, albeit, again, I'm not sure if they too were versed beforehand. One day, Paul Vernon of Cryptsy will be on your list, with possibly his wife and some of his employees. I'm not if that would be qualified as serious enough to get on that list Pretty cool story though, lucky you only got a restraining order.. Yeah, it was real funny explaining to one city and two county officers that the posts they read about me fucking goats and young boys on this forum were takin' outta context because The Inaba also had that in his restraining order request. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2F-RvNS7JfcMM%2Fhqdefault.jpg&t=663&c=1mPwh2ia79CJlA) George: "Was penning posts about fuckin' kid goats on a public forum wrong?"

Notice that SpaceX can't land their exhausted booster rocket on a barge at sea perhaps because the GPS relays are unreliable unlike the land-based GPS since there's no satellite GPSs.
