6901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $500 million go missing in largest cryptocurrency hack ever - News on: January 28, 2018, 03:13:23 PM
i'm using different ip address and password for every exchange i'm on. and 2fa if it is possible. you cant be to safe.
change passwoord regulary and if they hack one you still have all others.

it has to be resolved. crypto is so fragile right now. we can use a few weeks without bad news

Yes, these measures are good but still hackers are very active these days and they even have the mechanism to break the passwords and 2fa.
My recommendation is not to reveal your email in public sites as hackers might attempt to first hack email and then get access to exchanges where you have made accounts.

Also make sure you do not put extra money in online exchanges and withdraw the unused money to your local wallets.
6902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting trade with small amount on: January 28, 2018, 02:41:08 PM
I am sure that many of us start to trade with the small amount and even some of them start trading by getting a free coin from many ways. and while they trade, they learn more about trading so they can try to increase the amount of their balance and now, some of them could have much of bitcoin in their wallet. we can do like them as long as we never stop and still learning about trading so we can have the same opportunity like them to increase our balance too.

Well many people will say that newbies should trade with small amounts or even experienced person should trade with small reasonable amount so as to minimize the risk, but indeed trade with small amounts makes it impossible for you to get good income from trading.
Trading is game of rich and intelligent who have enough BTC to trade and earn good profits.
6903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying from ICO or trading altcoin. on: January 28, 2018, 02:23:54 PM
Both have it's pros and cons.
The pros of buy from ico is it can gives you bonus of altcoins so you can get cheaper price for each altcoin so you can get higher profit but the cons is you need to wait longer time until it listed on exchange and there's a possibility for dev to run away with investor's money.
If you buy in exchanger, you can trade it right away but you might lost the possibility of higher profit as altcoin's price is cheaper if you buy in ico. (except if you're a good trader)

The real bad thing about the ICO is that they are 90% fake and scam and most of the coins from the ICO do not even make to the exchanges. So if this is the case, the second option is much better of altcoin trading. Alteast you know the coin is at the exchange and you can cash out any time by selling at profit or loss.  In ICO, if the ico turns to be a failure, no one will buy your collected cheap ICO coins and it will just be a garbage.
6904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 28, 2018, 02:00:32 PM
So it will better to buy right now. Let them sell all their coins and I hope they regret it afterwards.
I believe in holdinhg it. Somehow there will be a big pump this year.

About the stability.
We just got used to a higher number of pumps and dumps and now we are thinking it is already in moderation.
But it is not. 300-400 dollars is a lot of movement.

Yes, the price is quite a bit stable between 10K to 13K and keep between this range. I have heard from many sources and almost every one say that bitcoin will be 100,000K or even more value this year. So if this is true and it really happens, then this price of only 12K *current price" is a very good price to but a lot of bitcoins. Its still cheap if you compare it with 50 - 100K range.
6905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 28, 2018, 01:32:53 PM
hi guys, i bought 1BTC today and i am wondering to gamble or to invest the 1btc?

if to gamble

best site to gamble with a really nice provably fair..

and if to invest.

best investment program wherein no scam.

thank you for your opinions guys

cheers
There a lot of legit project were you can invest your 1btc. Or you can also buy different kind of altcoin that you can put your investment. And later on have your profit. Just be sure and choose the right coin for investment. Aside from that you can also make a research so you could choose the best coin for you. Althought it take a long period of time before you can have your profit unlike in gambling its a fast money but also quick loss.
These days trading is very famous and many people are trading the altcoins to get a lot of profit. But profit from trading is not instant. You have to invest in altcoin and wait for few weeks to month and only then you will get certain profit and it is not granted either.
Gambling on the other hand is quick and you can become Rich or poor instantly if you play gambling.
6906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you care? on: January 28, 2018, 09:07:09 AM
Roulette, slots, you should forget these kind of games.
Based on probabilities only! Why do you think you will win in the long term?

Poker, sports betting requires more than luck/bad luck. Try these instead.
My 2cents.
I sports betting and I cannot even be profitable when there is no house edge so I think with slots the more my chances are lower. Knowing our game will help us win because that way we will continue to work to improve our strategy and it would not be possible in luck based games so we need to understand the difference. If we gamble for fun then there is no problem with whatever we choose because entertainment is our main priority and losing is a very normal situation.
I understand where you are coming. To be fair, having an edge over the bookmaker can be quite hard, it requires dedications, odds monitoring, and a lot of experience. People who are beginners in sports betting will always lose money, they will learn the hard way.
To know if a price is value or not value, it takes time.

We say closing odds at Pinnacle are usually a near perfect representation of the real probabilities of the different outcome on one event.
Yes, you are absolutely right. Especially for beginners, should not bet in large numbers. Those who are already experienced certainly start gambling in the same way.

Yes but overall experience of gambling does not require any sort of experience. I have seen many experienced and old player lose a lot and many newcomers wins big games. The thing which should be taken care of is the money which is being invested in gambling and focus should be to take out the see money and then take big risks with profits.
6907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 28, 2018, 08:54:24 AM
Nope I don't feel shameful being a gambler ,
In fact I am proud to be one when my friends and I are talking I often tells them about it.

Well it depends on where and which society you are living. At some places gambling is considered as a Sin or crime and no body is allowed to paly gambling. At those places, if people find to be involved in gambling, it will be a shameful thing. But in most countries Gambling is allowed and therefore there may be no share to be declared as a gambler.
6908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2018 Betting on: January 28, 2018, 07:00:09 AM
This is one of the most exciting times of the year if you love movies and also gambling. What else is a better combination hehehe? Also, the awarding ceremonies will be on Sunday, 4 March 2018, the announcement for the nominees will be on Jan. 23. I will update this when the odds are available.

Present available odds, not recommended for betting https://nitrogensports.eu/sport/specials/academy-awards

That's a great news. For those who like sports betting this is some sort of like that and we can bet on who will get the awards. It will be great seeing the Oscars this year and at a same time wining the bets and getting some quick easy bucks.
6909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many satoshi's do you have to gambled a day. on: January 28, 2018, 06:40:25 AM
Every day i played gambling in different gambling site and one of these is bustadice is my favorate to play with.
But yesterday i lose i think 5k satoshi of my fund. Sad Sad

Then i ask my self how many gambler being loss in playing of gambling and how much cost they going to lose.
Share you experienced guys with voting the poll and to know how much you can afford to lose. Grin Grin

5K is not a big deal unless to you have very less bitcoins to play with.
I mostly play at fortuneJack during the weekends with my savings and really I have a good time there. The amount with which I play is not uniform and it varies from weekend to weekend.
6910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: January 28, 2018, 06:34:35 AM
I have tried to think what goes through my mind when ever I am trying to place a bet. I think something strange do happen to me and that is I always have this thinking that what if I lose, how am I going to feel! I have never want to lose in my mind I want to win always but I think this is impossible. Gamblers here did you always want to win all your bet? If you win all how will the gambling company makes profits?

Its is basically a mindset which can lead you to positive gambling. If you have a fear of losing then you should not come here.

You need to start gambling with the hope to Win and a mind to enjoy the game. Once you started Win, you need a good strategy either to keep your seed money out or to keep your profits out  depend upon how you want to play gambling.

In case of loss, you need to know when to quit for the day and come back again next time with again a positive gambling mindset.
6911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: January 28, 2018, 06:09:29 AM
Out of all the great bitcoin games out there, what is your favorite?

My favorite game is poker and if i am bored, i play dice to pass some time.
I prefer poker because it plays with a very strong feeling and besides it can communicate with other players and outside players, poker game that makes me happy and exciting. besides i am also happy with the dice game by guessing and choosing it menbuat i am happy to guess.

Poker is also mine best and interesting game. Unlike Dice games where there is only luck , Poker gives a lot to think and chat to players while playing and it is therefore the best interactive game in gambling.
Also we need some knowledge on how to play poker before actually playing it. This again is different from dice which is just Rollin the dice to get the fortune.
6912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: January 28, 2018, 05:33:57 AM
Hi, i have a question for my gambler's buddies as i'm perplexed by this. I have a friend who really wishes to gamble, but he is not allowed to because his uncle lost his entire assets and some million's and his grandfather to lost another million or so (they're filthy rich). So due to this facts he is barred from gambling, they believe he'll loose money to, they're stopping him on past incidents and i'm really tired of explaining them they're wrong, what do you'll think, anyone else faces such issues?

Well the elders who have lost in Gambling will never want their siblings or anyone close to them lose or face such difficulties which they have experienced. They are right in one sense but thing may not be same for every person.

Perhaps your friend luck is better than his uncle and he can be a millionaire in short time, but there is no grantee . Risk of losing still resides.
6913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 28, 2018, 05:24:02 AM
Gamble without money isn't fun, and if we can get money in gambling we'll more fun although we shouldn't just use a little amount amount to gamble and if we lose there we'll not be regret. May be thats why i use little money to gamble.

Yeah, I tired to gamble on few sites which gave some free money to gamble and do not let withdraw in case of Win. This type of gambling is really bring as there is no feeling of loss. Even if you loss, you will lose nothing and no matter how big you win, you can't get that amount as it is just artificial money gambling.

This can be useful for Newbies who want to get a taste of it without actually using their money.
6914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: January 28, 2018, 05:20:07 AM
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?

Well, money is the limiting factor here and only less money makes me to stop gambling. If Money was not the problem if would have continued to gamble for as long as I am not tired.
Gambling gives refreshment and excitement, so who would not want to continue for ever if he has recourses ?
6915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: January 27, 2018, 12:46:35 PM
Kindly share your experience if you ever being faced situation where either you where not allowed to enter the casinos due to either improper attire, age verification issue etc.  Also anytime till now have you being removed from the casinos? It could be due to any of reasons e.g - Misbehaving or fighting, getting high and creating ruckus, caught cheating etc.

Share your true experience if you ever had to face any such situations or related to it any incident that occurred with you.

I was travelling abroad and happen to visit casinos but i was in flip flops and as per the rules a proper attire was must. I was not being allowed inspite of me explaining I cam from abroad and will be leaving tonight and was not aware of such policy etc. But they where strict with the rules and I had to return back form their.

I think this will only happen if you want to enter in physical casino and not being permitted due to age or some other factors stated above.
Since the online Gambling become popular, there is no any sort of restriction and even a kid can enter and play Gambling.

Coming to the second point of misbehaving, this also cant happen in online gambling although you can still post bad in their chat which may not have that much effect.
6916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: criminals:more use btc or dollar? on: January 25, 2018, 05:53:49 PM
Here's a fact. BTC was mainly used as a payment option to the infamous "SILK ROAD". So yeah, criminals would prefer using BTC than dollars because of its anonymity.

Anonymity is not the only feature of bitcoin which makes criminals prefer to use bitcoins. Another important reason is that bitcoin is easily transferable to people residing on other countries and there is no hassle of payments.

Do people think that btc is more used in world of criminal, than the dollar is used?

There is no doubt that all the criminals and dark wold activities are being done in bitcoins. This seems a bit awkward for the people who love bitcoins but it is a fact which cannot be denied. If i am not wrong, bitcoin is more used in criminals activities than the good activities.
6917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices may rise sharply in 2018 on: January 25, 2018, 05:30:18 PM
You never know that, I hope personaly that will climb back to 20k but nowadays btc is struggling to get back even to 13k so, fingers crossed. It's longterm investment so we must wait. Smiley

Bitcoin cant move always in one direction. There has to be a correction and a dip along the way. Those who are in forex or commodity trading knows that how these trading world works.
There are a lot of factors for the current price hovering near 10K to 11K. It may even go further down to 8K depending upon the outcome of CME Futures contract expiring tomorrow.   (Details here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2821818.msg28902763#msg28902763)
6918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: January 25, 2018, 05:20:10 PM
I know we all can make a good profit when markets are going up but since last, one-month markets are down. So how is your portfolio is doing and are you selling or holding?

When the bitcoin is down, the altcoins are also down which makes our portfolio low in value. Have you seen that when everything is on the rise you will see everyone telling to buy this coin, that coin etc. There are so many youtube channels starting and everyone becomes crypto expert. But then there is  pin drop silence when things are moving down and no one tell what to do in this situation.

In case of loss and down trend, first thing is to hold the coins and never ever sell them at loss. Secondly if you have money, make buy bids at a low price and then you will accumulate the coins at a very low price which can give you good profits when the things are in the upward trend.
6919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Does One Trade on Binance from MyEtherWallet? on: January 25, 2018, 04:55:11 PM

Greetings.

If I have my BTC stored in MyEtherWallet, then how do I trade on Binance from this?

Binance always shows your balance of BTC on their exchange, of course, in order to reveal the amount of any other crypto that you are legitimately able to purchase, so how can you do any trading if you have BTC stored in a virtual (or HW) wallet?

Does one have to send a designated amount to binance first?

Thanks very much for any replies.

You seems to be very new in the trading world and i would suggest to first thoroughly learn or watch few videos on how to trade.

BTC is not stored in myetherwallet as the name suggests its an etherium wallet and probably the Number one Ether wallet. You need to transfer the etherium to Binance Ether address and from there you can trade any coin which is listed on binance exchange.

Again i will insist, if you are new in this field start with a low amount and a small exchange like Ccex or cryptopia.
6920  Economy / Gambling / Re: When a Gambler/Player Dies on: January 25, 2018, 04:26:44 PM
I have been thinking of a question but have not got a suitable answer, in case a gambler or player who has big money in his account dies, what happens to his money? If the family eventually get to know he has money in that gambling account, how will they claim it if they dont have a password to the account or email? Does the owner of gambling site have a way of handling that or is it a free money for them to claim? Your response please.
I am referring to gambling sites like: bitsler, primedice, freebitco, cryptogames, etc

Well, even of a gambler dies and has funds in his gambling site, his family still has a chance to recover the funds by giving evidence that the person is no more alive and funds needs to be handed over to the family. (Of course you need a valid proof of person claiming the funds is speaking truth  and has valid proof to be his spouse  Siblings)

This post made me think of a situation of a deceased person who has funds in his desktop wallet and no one has has access to his private key and password. Well in that case the bitcoins are lost forever.

Coming back to OP question again, if on the other hand no one claims the money, the site will eventually get hold of the funds. Maybe they have a policy of account not being used will be fortified and all funds will be credited to the gambling site.
