I took a big loss because i bought XRP right before the big market dip . But i would say i recovered by buying back at the lowest price and selling at a little higher one . Been day trading a little bit . So my protfolio is looking the same as before the dip , no huge loss no profits. Waiting for bitcoin to increase so i can finally secure my profits.

I made a very good profit from XRP but not by day trading. I bought around 2000 XRP when the price was around 0.12 to 0.2 and sold all of them above $2.8. Now I'm looking buy again around $1 range but still price not reached that level yet.

I was expecting big correction for a long time so I booked some profits before this correction and using that money to buy some cheap coins again. Most of my coins are still in a profit because I bought them many months ago.

This is the right time to buy for coins that has good potential to boom in the future. This is the right time to buy for bitcoins too while the price is lower than the last few months.  I bought some alts that can gives a good profit someday and I will wait for the right time to sell it.

I have been holding all my coins, no buys or sales for a few weeks. Many coins went down in value. Yet I am of the view that crypto is comparable to venture capital, very volatile with some coins likely to go to zero and others with the potential to produce exponential returns. Anyone that invested a few months ago in NEO, Stratis, Verge or Stellar has likely outperformed the returns of Bitcoin and been very pleased with the outcome. Nonetheless I feel that Bitcoin will come alive once Lighting Network is deployed. People criticize BTC for being slow and antiquated but its still the reserve asset for the industry and I don't believe it will be replaced any time soon by fashion of the moment coins like Ripple, Cardano, Iota, etc.

Some people afraid this time because of red line happen in the market but for me this is the right time to buy more coin and hold for long term dont be afraid because this is normal to crypto world and also this month theres a lot of bad news to bitcoin.
Its better to lessen your trading until the market recover (observe and wait) and dont be rush Im still holding all my coin in my wallet.

i don't have silly things like an altcoin portfolio. that is just a fancy word that was created about 9 months ago to replace the ugly word called "bag holding".

and what i do during the dumping phase of altcoin market is that i simply stay away from it. you have 365 days in a year to trade and enjoy the pumps, you don't have to do it every single day even when alts are getting dumped. let the panic ends and bubbles burst then come back and enjoy the pumps again...

Not gonna lie but I was tempted to sell all of my crypto coins for cash. Luckily I managed to hold my stupid weak mind & hands lol.
Actually, when the market is down, the best thing to do is to get more instead of selling it. Or maybe set a cut loss would be a wise choice too.
Cryptocurrencies are really famous right now, so I think it won't be crashing for too long.

My portfolio is really bad at the moment. Although the market is rising right now, it still hasn't cover my losses yet. But well, it will payoff eventually if we're patient. Keep hodling guys, and stay success!

At the moment it's better to stay away from selling and try to hold on for a longer time. But at the moment there is a good opportunity to revise the entire portfolio and add them to new ones or replace them with something.

I am still holding my investments hoping that it will rise up again. This past month bitcoin is very low but I am hoping that it will rise up again in the second quarter of the year. Based on my observation, the value of the coin always falling on the first quarter of the year but rise up again in the second quarter. Just have faith on the coin you are investing and keep your emotions controlled.. don't panic it will rise up again soon.

it seems, my portfolio is up and down too often follow the price of each coin and if I can see the price is good for me to sell then I will sell it. I did the last sell on str once the price reach 5200 satoshi and now I still another higher price to sell some of my str. I still hold the other coins because I think the price could be increased more so I think I need to wait for a moment. this time, I want to collect as much bitcoin as I can from my coins so after altcoin party is ended and bitcoin back to increase, I can waiting altcoin price is down so I can buy again.

At this point when that the market is down, I consider this as a good time to Buy but that is if I still have available funds for me to use and invest in other tokens. I will hold and I am still holding my saving in bitcoin! Selling now mean I did not have faith that bitcoin is going to get to $1,000,000 as saying by some experts and if bitcoin is going to get that values why should I get fear and sell at lose now. If this down turn is over we would recover all the loss ground and get more ground before may this year. I think bitcoin is going to go as high as $30,000 before the first quarter of this year.

In my estimate, I already lost 50% of the value of what I am holding right now. In retrospect, I should have sold some of them when they reached their peak a month ago -- many of my holdings are altcoins and new tokens coming from my bounty work. I am now waiting for the altcoin surge to happen again so I can be able to dispose some of them for cash. I need to eat and pay some bills, you know. This is the time when we have no choice but to hold except if we do some cut loss thing.

The hardest to make is in a falling market. But it is possible. Even in a falling market, coins bounce. And these coins need to be controlled. As soon as bitcoin makes a sharp move with the price - all the altcoyins go to the bottom. And this is the moment when you need to buy them. And they need to be sold based on their greed (who wants to earn as much as they want). For me, in a falling market, 5-10% is enough.

Trying to trade in a bearish market is very difficult. So at the moment I have just switched to primarily holding what I think has potential to rise in the next six months and do more freelancing work where I can raise more funds to purchase the coins I want. Trying to go against the trend is not easy and I lost a big chunk of my profit by not selling on the high a few weeks back and am sitting in this bear slump waiting for the next opportunity to rise. I hope there is a trend reversal with some up side in the near future.
