6921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 01, 2018, 04:46:53 PM

My believe is that those government who're against bitcoin are against it due to it potential and they are scared bitcoin could take over their national currency.  But, it will be good if the negative thoughts of the governments is over so we can all benefit wholly the good tidings of the cryptoworld world
Of course they are afraid because they think that it can really disrupt their government. But let's see. This has been a ongoing battle so far and every time that there's a negative news, the price quickly pullback. Right now its just above $9K and its still going down as we speak.

Good thing though is that there are also governments around the world who think otherwise. This war will not end but we can still enjoy crypto specially for those who are living in a crypto friendly nation.

And no, its not over, this is just another test for the market.
6922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gone under 10000 on: February 01, 2018, 04:23:57 PM
After a long time bitcoin gone under 10000$ Cry Cry and crypto market down also. What is the main cause? bitcoin ban facebook ad or other option ??
It could be one reason why we see the price of bitcoin suddenly goes down below and stuck at $9300. We can't say for certain what is the main cause of the sudden drop of today's price. There might be FUD around that I'm not aware of. Its really annoying and frustrating to see the price not making any headway to the direction that we wanted to, the only thing we can do is really wait.

My personal view says that around mid-Feb we will on the road to recover. And in this kind of scenario, you better just hold into your bitcoin and don't just panic sells.
6923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short Survey on a new Sushi ICO! on: January 31, 2018, 09:30:52 PM
Answered your survey as honest as I can.

I'm a Sushi lover myself. So I'm hoping that this ICO becomes successful if ever you decided to put one in the future. I haven't heard this kind of ICO before its kinda unique packages to begin with. But I don't know if this has far reaching effect. I'm assuming that your target is mostly on Asian region specially Japan where we all know that they love their Sushi's.  Grin

Hope you get enough traction from the community though and let us know the results of your survey.
6924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Down down we go. on: January 31, 2018, 09:02:31 PM
after december crypto rally, it's normal to see this correction.

i dont expect market will grow up before mid february. it's a good entry point for newcomers.
And we all know that what follows next is another rally. All our patience will be rewarded anytime soon. I'm also very optimistic that February will be a good month and we can forgot all about this bleeding and crypto winter.

Maybe most of us are not here yet when bitcoin has the same pattern in 2016/2017. So just give those newcomers some slack. As they became more adept to the crypto world, I'm sure that they will not panic if another price corrections happen in the future.

I agree with almost everyone here. HOLD and buy in this dips.
6925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you be worried? on: January 31, 2018, 08:07:14 PM
For me its just normal to be worried as far as the price of crypto market is concern. Fortunately, if you do your research, every year in the month of January, the market seems to be bearish. Although I haven't noticed it until I do my own homework. Normal to be worried but you have to face that fact that the market can't go on parabolic, there will be down ward trend. The thing is not to panic sell and just be patience.

i am not worried at all about the market drop. if we see past charts (2015,2016,2017) they all looks pretty much the same. It is normal for price to go up and down, and so far, it is still up 1000% from last year, soooo...
This is what I'm saying. The past years shows us that at the start of every year, the market is always down. Lots of factors, but I wouldn't discuss it further. Long term we may see bitcoin touching $50K before the end of the year.
6926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could the Bitcoin price by the end of 2018 only 4000$ - 6000$? on: January 31, 2018, 07:46:21 PM
It would be a terrible thing if the Bitcoin pattern is the same as in 2013-2015, it could be the end of 2018 is only about 4000 $ -6000 $, as I think if it might happen?

Let's look at the pattern in 2013-2015 below:

and this is the pattern from 2016 to the present:

What if it really happened, give your opinion? Cheesy
With bitcoin's high volatility, its really possible to see those prices. However, it will really take a lot of bad news that will make investors pulled out their funds from the market and crash the market so hard that everyone panics resulting in the price going back to $4K-$6K.

The questions is what are those circumstances that will really pull the price to bottom? I don't think that FUD will significantly impact the market to bring the prices to its knees. The only logical choice that I can think of is that if the scalability issues wasn't resolved in the next coming months, investors will lose their trust and faith and maybe one day decided to pull their money and invest it to altcoins.
6927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung to Manufacture BTC Mining ASIC on: January 31, 2018, 07:23:47 PM
Korean electronics giant Samsung is the latest chip manufacturer to enter the bitcoin mining hardware market. The company’s foundry has reportedly already began producing ASIC chips for a Chinese client earlier this month.

News: https://news.bitcoin.com/samsung-enters-bitcoin-mining-asic-manufacturing-business/

Do you think now that there is more competition: bitcoin mining equipment will become cheaper?
What impact will this have?

It will not have any significant impact to the current price of bitcoin mining gear. It says that Samsung will just manufacture it for a Chinese client (I'm assuming its Bitmain). On the contrary, the price will be more expensive because its already outsourced outside of China.

Let's see how GMO reacts though. I understand that they are building their own mining hardware to compete with Bitmain but it will probably take a year to mass produce it. Unfortunately, we are still at the mercy of Jihan and his company.
6928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: restaurant in bali closed on: January 31, 2018, 07:00:30 PM
I am very happy if there is a country in which there is a culinary company or a restaurant that receives payments with bitcoin, although in the country prohibits bitcoin.
like in bali, there is a restaurant that receives payment with bitcoin, but a few days ago I watched a show on television that the security forces closed the restaurant.
why are the security so evil? they only use it for food payments, not for criminals. or do they equate bitcoin payments as a crime? it's very unreasonable.
what do you think about it ?
They closed it because the Indonesian government has implemented a full ban on bitcoin and cryptos. And it says that Bali has been the center of bitcoin exchanges, well it doesn't surprise me because that's a haven for tourist. And they brought bitcoins with them, exchange it to local fiat.

Its really hard to question their intentions. But just like any governments around the world that bans bitcoin, they only look at the bad side of bitcoin (used by criminals). I think that restaurant was closed because of that same (illogical) reason. Really sad to hear it though, but bitcoin is unstoppable. Their will be still trades going underground in Bali or in Indonesia.
6929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: happening to crytocurrency today on: January 31, 2018, 06:29:49 PM
What can you say about happening of the crytocurrrency today? is it good or bad. what do you think? Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
Well its been trading just around the $10K price so its a bad sign for all of us. Actually it makes us worried and can't pinpoint as to what is happening to the market right now. The price is stalling just above $11K and now another price correction in the last 2 days or so.

What can you say about happening of the crytocurrrency today? is it good or bad. what do you think? Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
I think this is a bad thing for me, because right now I have a lot of needs in offline and want to sell, but all the price of cryptos is crash. I do not know, I have to sell but actually I really want to hodl This is enough to frustrate me.
Bad timing for me as well. Needed some fiat money so I need to dump some of my stash. However, with the current price, I don't think that I should sell it today. I still have other options though, but if things made it worse in my end, no choice but to dump a few.  Sad
6930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge Buy and Sell walls at the same time ?!?? on: January 30, 2018, 09:25:41 PM
Wall sell and wall buy is usually very influential on market activity, because the average coin that always has a big wall then the price increase and the decline will be a little longer or can be said more stable. eg rdd and doge.
Admit it or not, this is one way to influence the market. Newbies who tend to see it panic and follow the sell order. This is one method I'm seeing whales do, specially when their is a price corrections, and in a matter of few hours, we will see a domino effect, crashing the market. So this big buy /sell wall for me is artificial.

One thing I've learnt is never to pay attention to these walls.

Most of the time they are pulled. And even if they aren't pulled and they fill it doesn't tell you much.

Basically tells you there was someone who bought ALOT and someone who sold ALOT. But who is correct?

Exactly. Don't pay attention to this because you will be emotionally affected and panic sells. Again this has proved nothing, doesn't tell you anything but some artificial orders trying to intimidate others (noobs).

6931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One country in Asia to develop bitcoin transactions legally on: January 30, 2018, 09:06:01 PM
As part of my advocacy to share good news about bitcoin.

A good push from one country in asia in planning to develop bitcoin

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/29/18/philippines-to-develop-rules-on-cryptocurrency-trading

We bitcoin users surely need this, hoping this will jumpstart many country across the world in acceptance of bitcoin. Let us  repost this so everyone can help bitcoin to gain legalities and legitimacy.
Philippine government is very friendly to bitcoin and crypto. As stated they have local trading exchanges coins.ph who have been in the forefront ever since bitcoin exploded in the country 2017.

However, Philippine market is still very small. Only a small percentage know about bitcoin and most of them are in this community. Asia has been in the forefront on crypto and I hope that more countries in Asia will see the benefit of crypto and bitcoin for all their citizens. Indonesia and Bangladesh ban bitcoin recently, and hearing that another country is on the other side of the spectrum is very welcoming indeed.
6932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's in USA on: January 30, 2018, 08:34:54 PM
You can hire someone to participate for you. It would be nice if you have a trusted relative which is not a US Citizen and participate on the ICO and probably just pay him after. Just keep all the private keys for yourself. I think you'll have a problem with the KYC and a little problem with converting to fiat money after the ICO although you can join groups that supports person-to-person (p2p) coin exchange so all funds are directed to your bank. Maybe as long as you don't involve a big amount of money in one transaction, I guess everything will be good.
The problem is how to find someone that you can trust outside of the USA. I'm sure that there are a lot of US citizens that doesn't have much relative living outside. And it involves money. And we all know that money can cost a lot of problems. Even husbands and wives fight it over regardless of the amount.

As for the consequences, no one can say for sure. We all know that US is very strict implementing their laws. I will advise NOT to engage yourself in ICO if you are a US citizen to avoid the hassle in the future, its not worth it.
6933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: January 30, 2018, 08:10:59 PM
Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
To tell you the truth, yes, I'm wary of hackers stealing my hard earn money  that's why I took every precaution in the book. Its really up to us how to defend from they cyber punks who's intention to take away money from their unsuspecting victims in every way they can.

I always bookmark important trading sites like MEW. 2FA, used strong passwords in my wallet. But I guess they are really one step ahead of us. We need to be very careful not to click on anything we find interesting on the web as it might contain such Trojans or Malwares (keyloggers). If you are a long term bagholder, a hardware wallet is a must.
6934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I BOUGHT INS AT $20 AND ITS $3.5 on: January 30, 2018, 07:38:25 PM
I bought INS when it had just been listed on Binance 1 hour after and it kept going down, but my friend advised me to hodl, i feel very frustrated man, Has anyone went through this before ?
What do you expect? The price of INS will magically increased? This is how trading works, its beyond our control and you will always feel that frustration. But you have to think of it as long term investments and hodl, as your friend advised you, he might be right, who knows.

Its fairly common to see those movements, almost all of us witnessed and this is just another part of your journey in the trading world. Its better to wait it out and see how the price goes in the future.

I know the feeling, especially when it keeps going dow  but long hold always benefits
Yes, you have that itch to sell because you are seeing your money going down the pipe, but you really need to think of your investment long term. So just hold on it as long as you can.
6935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I was hacked with the Fake Binance on: January 30, 2018, 07:16:40 PM
Today, to login binance, I used google search (lazy ass) and click on google top ad (stupid of me). I check https and certification was secure and the name (nothing wrong there), and after entering my password and code for two step authentication, it displayed this massage:

Due to the implementation of new security measures you will be able to login 24-48 hours later.
Sorry for the inconvenience

I got suspicious, so I typed went back and googled the massage and I came across this page. Apparently the displayed name in the url with valid certification has a small dot under n. So I was hacked, lucky me I change my passwords and my authentication method asap. But It was headache and normally it is not easy to spot this. You can also copy past the fake binance.com in a notepad and see that original url is : (https://www.xn--binace-zt7b.com/).

I know I was supply (even being normally paranoid about everything.
I am putting this here to stop anybody losing his BTCs.

Thanks for the fair warning. I have no Binance account but this would really help a lot of members to try and be sure that they are in the correct URL so that they are not going to be phished and loss their coins on the exchanges. That's why its important to bookmark the trading platform, there are a lot of hackers who will do anything to stole money out of their unsuspecting victims.

I'm sure that there are already who fall for this and can't do anything but to blame themselves because of their mistakes. Very hard lessons to swollen and it comes at a big cost for others. Good thing though that you are really quick to change everything.
6936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inquiries at Google and the rise in Bitcoin prices are related on: January 30, 2018, 06:56:35 PM
Inquiries at Google and the rise in Bitcoin prices are related

If you want to know the price of Bitcoin, just ask Google. Nick Colas of Datatrek Research, a former analyst for monitoring Bitcoin, in an interview with CNBC suggested that the key to unraveling the next volatility is to observe Google's search service, as well as the creation of new wallets.

Kolas is not the first analyst who has grasped the connection with inquiries, the creation of a purse and the volatility of the price. Previously, Chris Berniske stated that the rate of BTC / USD clearly reflected the trend of Google search. Berniske called him "The virtuous cycle of Satoshi"

More
I think its pretty obvious that in the last 6 months, Google search about bitcoin is expanding, which means that a lot is looking about bitcoin and how to make money out of it (creating new wallets). But I'm not sure what's the connection about the price though, more searches = price going up? This is a new theory for me.

Maybe people do search for bitcoin because they are curious about it. Social media has already created a lot of hype on it. And people want to learn more how to invest and create more money for them.
6937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this new crash very bad on: January 30, 2018, 06:34:58 PM
I notice quite a big drop in the last few hours.  Is this just a short term thing for a few hours and it will pick up again back to normal.  Or will it go much further down into a big crash.
Well its looks like that we are on another market price correction. It's the 3rd time for this month if I'm not mistaken. We have seen similar corrections in 2016 and 2017, 2-3 in the month of Jan.

Again, when the price is going down, its likely that more investors will try to pick up a few bitcoin because the price is cheap. So in hindsight, its not bad as you might think.

One must take advantage of every situation to get bitcoin at a discount, and this is another golden opportunity to all of us.
6938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news! on: January 26, 2018, 11:25:53 PM
Wow it is a good news because bitcoin have potential to getting higher next month and many people in korea have more to known about cryptocurrencies world coins most specially bitcoin.i wish that many country doing like korea country
South Korea is really a big player not just in bitcoin and crypto in total. This news is really positive to the market, however the catch is that South Korean traders will have their name exposed to the banks so its no longer the psuedo anonymity.

But we can't be for certain that countries will follow what South Korea has been doing. They have put a tighter and strict regulations as far as trading is concern. Other countries want a total ban.

I like though what South Korean government did here, instead of a total ban, they will let their people trade as long as they will follow the rules that they laid out. Still a win-win for us and for the government.
6939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that Bitcoin's price will still drop nearly below $9000? on: January 26, 2018, 10:30:07 PM
Many of those people who predict the price of bitcoin will come down again like he raced to show the technical predictions he made.

if it is true can you give an accurate reason not just speculation and not just a fake streak of technical predictions?

and why the decline in Bitcoin prices is quite prolonged?

No one can predict the price of bitcoin because its very volatile. And those who have made "accurate" predictions have also made a lot of miss predictions. NO amount of TA can see how it goes because we based everything of speculation as you have said.

The declined is due to a lot of reasons, like government bans, FUD and people staying away and doesn't want to invest into the market because of the reasons above.

But there would be time that the market will rally. Its just the nature of our market.
6940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new revolution of finance world. on: January 26, 2018, 09:20:46 PM
Bitcoin is new revolution of finance world. Everyone knows that bitcoin born in 2009. Currently bitcoin is developing criptocurrency - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple Bitcoin Cash, Cardano, Litecoin, NEO, NEM, Stellar, IOTA, EOS, Dash, TRON, Monero, Dogecoin.  Shocked
Will the banks support this kind of financial transaction and will be able to survive together?

In Latvia, bitcoins are something new and unknown. Everyone is talking, but few of them really understand bitcoin's capabilities.

Is it really something lasting or short-lived??? Huh Huh
Actually it's already revolutionized the financial world already. That's why you see governments and banks are taking a hard line stance against bitcoin. They are afraid that bitcoin would really disrupt their economics that why they need to cut it out as early as possible. However, bitcoin has already gain ground on some countries like Japan.

I'm assuming that in Latvia, crypto is not yet ban. I advise you to take this advantage and do trade and earn bitcoin as much as you can before your government makes a U-turn.

Yes, eventhough bitcoin has been in the media lately, there's still a lot of people who don't know anything about bitcoin and how does it work and what it can bring to them, financially.
