6981  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what to do, if an exchange disables trading for certain currency? on: March 18, 2019, 05:18:25 PM
Exchanges won't suddenly disable trading of certain currency. Exchanges give notification with some deadline for the disabling of the certain trading pair. Before that we need to make use of the trading access and beyond that it goes a valueless token. In some projects they provide with the access to swap for other coins.

Correct, they will give their user based some time to really liquidate their assets. The only thing to do right now is just move out the coin, but you need to look at with exchange are still supporting it.

Otherwise, he can't do anything about it since it worthless, another expensive lessons to learn again. If we are holding coins that has no potential, it's better to really dump then accept the lost and then move on.
6982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Volume on: March 18, 2019, 05:13:51 PM
The volume has been unusually high for the past few weeks. Do you think wash trading with USDT is taking place? Any other thoughts of what's happening?

Hard to say, but we all know that wash trading has been practice but a lot of exchanges, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is one factor for this unusual high volume trading. Others have said that this is an indication that the bull are taking over, but so far the price is still pegged at $4k per BTC.

So definitely, we are not yet out for the control of the bears as of this very moment.
6983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: March 18, 2019, 05:07:22 PM
I really quite say if I ever recover my losses though. A loss is a loss to me. If I kept on thinking the next day that I have to recover it, then I'm putting more pressure on myself.

I remember some gamblers before take note of how much their win/loss record though. But for me it's not a good practice, maybe I recover some, but in the end I think I'm still in the negative already as early as this year.
6984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: March 18, 2019, 04:58:59 PM
I used to invest in ISO and make a profit. Recently, a lot of coins in which I invested fall down after entering the stock exchange. I do not know what to do about it ...

It seems that you're really a newbie. Right now, with this market conditions, once a coin is listed on an exchange, expect a major dump specially if the project did have a hard time raising their capital.

That's why you will see a lot of pointing fingers right now as who is to blame, it is those bounty hunters or the investor. In your case, there's nothing you can do but to hodl on them, otherwise sell them so cheap and take the lost.
6985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: March 18, 2019, 08:31:35 AM
^^ Yes. This is a nice pickup, obviously, Golden Warriors are too hot to handle, Curry and Thompson are playing at a high level so just imagine if Durant came back to play again, they will be unstoppable. I'm going to tail this and hope we all can win again with @stadus tips.
6986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: March 18, 2019, 08:20:15 AM
Bitcoin is being pumped now, but I still wonder if the market will be pumped continuously or there will be a correction again and the price of bitcoin falls again, but indeed the situation is now a little better

What do you mean pump?

As to your questions, no one can say, right now the price is still above $4k a good and strong price. But it's possible that it could go down again as what we have seen last month when we see the price step on that levels. So the best option is just HODL, who knows this could be the start of a bull-run. If this is a bull-trap and the price goes < $4k, then accumulate again.
6987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can some fraudulent people be discouraged from using cryptocurrency ? on: March 18, 2019, 08:15:17 AM
Yes, that is you go dig deeper on the technical aspects of blockchain. There are company who specializes on this one like: https://www.chainalysis.com/.

And that is why there are a lot of mixing or tumbling services just like in my signature. This is a way to hide your address and your coins by mixing it to make you more "anonymous".
6988  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀✨[Rocket.Run] THERE WAS NO SUCH GAME, UNTIL NOW. JOIN THE THRILL. ✨🚀 on: March 18, 2019, 08:07:39 AM
I just tried to sign up rocket.run but I am unable to complete. I am getting error of  "Registration failed. Please try again later."

Am I the only person facing such a problem or registration is temporarily phased due to flooded sign up through signature campaign applicants ?
I don't think it's about the signature campaign participants that registered during that time. Try to change your browser and it's going to help you, I guess you are using TOR browser?

Should use another browser if that didn't helped, otherwise the problem is on their end. Have you tried registering again?

I only suspect that maybe your country of residence is being restricted by the platform. As I looked at the signature campaign rules and requirements, some countries are mentioned that they can't joined the signature campaigns. So I assume that is maybe the case that's why you can't registered, (but I maybe wrong!!!).

But I did enjoy the rocket game, got busted though.. Grin
6989  Economy / Economics / Re: The Factors of Demand and supply on: March 18, 2019, 07:20:43 AM
If you do not take into account the more insignificant factors, but to look only at the main thing, then yes. In fact, Bitcoin rose so much in 2017 because of its popularity, and therefore, because of such a huge demand for it. Growth trends will appear when Bitcoin’s popularity increases (or its need in the modern world).

You forgot one thing why bitcoin became so popular that time, it's because of all the positive news, (CBoE and CME bitcoin future contracts is the last great catalyst), but after the demand has wane out and so at the price.

So everyone 'buy" the news in the market. And that's how the market operates. Positives news will result in more demand, and no news or complete FUD will make the market goes down.
6990  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do if you have 100 BTC-50 BTC Freely in use? on: March 18, 2019, 07:07:22 AM
Before helping my friends, I'll help my family and relatives first. I will give in return to those people who have helped during my times when I'm feeling down. I'll spend it with my necessities first but I'm not going to forget that I have dreams to fulfill.

Of course, that should be the first thing to do, help your family before anyone. Did you know that most star athletes who become bankrupt used to help all of their friends when they have all the money before? But when the player leaves the game and the money stop coming in, he has no choice but to sell all his expensive cars and properties.

And where are all his friends then? They are all gone, and that is the sad truth.
6991  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Ever Eat A Salted Egg Although Just Once??? on: March 17, 2019, 09:00:18 PM
It's very common in our place as well. Yeah I eat those, but seldom though, I just remember them when I just see someone eating it.

Question to the OP though, did you find anything wrong with salted eggs though? I'm just curious because mostly in Asian region, people love to eat it from time to time, (meaning not just 1 in a month).

Eggs has been in centuries put into bad light, however, recent studies shows that it's not bad for our health, actually it has a lot of benefits. What makes eggs worst though are the food you eat together with your eggs, like ham and bacon, those are processed foods.
6992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradingview: Karate Monkey Indicators on: March 17, 2019, 08:54:52 PM
From the analysis above, I could see that the indicator is a lagging one. It does not guide traders on the possible direction of price just like price action and maybe candlesticks. It doesn't take cognizance of spiking which is a major clue to direction of market especially in a longterm frame.

Because it's for free, lol.

The OP has like paid and premium membership, but I don't know if this for newbies to join though. I mean obviously being a newbie, they should really learn how to make their own TA and not just subscribe to someone, Why not they just give them their trading money and let those offering services do the trade for them?  Grin

I have nothing against the offer of the OP, but for me its not the way for newbie trader, just saying.
6993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin remain above $4000 this time around? on: March 17, 2019, 08:49:22 PM
We can't really tell at this point. Actually I was surprised to see the price goes to $4k without any significant news. It also shows that something from behind might be doing an old dogs trick, trying to manipulate again and set traps for newbies to jump in and they will suddenly dump again.

So just be cautious this rally doesn't look natural to me, just saying.
This could be true, like the previous one but for me, I feel this one seems better. I'm rooting to have a new floor price this time at $4k. If this one lasted longer or even in a week, then this might be a new floor price. Not so far from previous resistance but atleast we finally cross $4k.

And it is still holding today, with no significant movement whatsoever, so I will still be cautious though. Of course it's better to have a floor price of $4k rather than below. But personally, I don't know, I don't like this feeling.

I don't want to be negative but I have hunch that we might go back to sub $4k again in the coming days, just my opinion though. Looks like the rise to $4k is not organic, at least from what I see.
6994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: best ICO in March 2019 on: March 17, 2019, 08:43:39 PM
Just as I have said in the previous thread, ICO today are very risky, Why? because majority of them are scams anyway.

As per my experience, gone are the days of investing in a ICO to get a good reward. Once the token are distributed, expect a massive sell off making your investment worthless in the long run.

Stick to where the project is the best coin out there, which is Bitcoin.
6995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 icos on: March 17, 2019, 08:38:06 PM
It's like gambling if you joined ICO this day. There is no absolute guarantee that you can get your money back. So the best thing to do is just invest on Bitcoin and Ethereum.

As other's have said, majority are scam and it's hard to see which one will be successful or which one will be just another pump-and-dump scheme or worst scam projects. Invest on Bitcoin and I'm sure you will not regret your decision specially for the long haul.
6996  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin must come back to its original use - currency ! on: March 17, 2019, 07:57:25 PM
some people ready to use it as currency, but it have up date price, bitcoin dont have real price, so people will take the advantage from it, buy and sell bitcoin to gain real money. if it use as real currency that have stable price, i think they are not ready for it, because bitcoin is profitable.
It will be difficult to install the system to make payments through Bitcoin. Because, we need a separate device to calculate such volatile price every second. Also, as the price increases over time and becomes more stable, it will find its place.

Right, the main problem is still it's volatility nature of it. Well there is Bitpay (a bitcoin payment service provider) most merchants are using it so it's possible as well to accept bitcoin as mode of payment or as a currency.

But most merchants are still afraid to accept bitcoin though, they think they can lose in the end because the price is really unstable. But bitcoin is growing, every year, it could be a dilemma but in the next 2-3 years we may see more merchants accepting it, so it's going to be a win win situation for us.
6997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Constant positive growth since the beginning of this year - Bullish or bearish? on: March 17, 2019, 07:47:32 PM
Again, it's very hard to predict the market even if you used Technical Analysis. And even if you visited trading view, most of them are not in conjunction as whether we are in the bull market already. The only thing we can do it wait and let the market do its own thing. Of course we wanted to see a bull run already, but at this point its really hard to see where the market is really going.

I agree, there's no clear path as what the market wanted it to be.

There are people saying that the bear is exhausted or near exhaustion. But there are those who predicts that the market will go on one final capitulation before we can see a bull-run.

So it is still 50/50 all we can do is hope that in the next two months the price will go on the $5k levels so that we will move further away from our lowest of $3100-$3200 and it could be a sign that the bull is fighting back to get the market from the bears, so let's see.
6998  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Employed for Bitcoin on: March 17, 2019, 07:29:01 PM
Nice concept but you really need to market your services so that you can reach a broader audience. As @ Theb, there is xbt already which has garnered the market. If you are willing to shell out some money so maybe you can start a signature campaign here for maximum exposure.

So it will take some time before people will find your website, will not happen over-night so goodluck to you. I myself used to be freelancer way back, in the old odesk  Grin format, but now I just trade.
6999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox founder Mark Karpeles Sentenced to Over Two Years. Is This a Joke? on: March 17, 2019, 07:06:01 PM
Any of you guys think that the verdict will be different if Mark Karpeles is tried in the USA for the same case? (embezzlement and illegal manipulation of accounting.) Just for the sake of argument, I think Mark will be given harsher punishment.
7000  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: March 17, 2019, 06:56:15 PM
Go back to the beginning of 2017, you will never find anyone saying that bitcoin can rise to almost $20k, but it did during December of that year.

So it also goes to show that everything is possible, but at this point, and if it will ever happened again, it will not be an overnight sensation. The growth will happen eventually, perhaps in the next 2-3 years specially in 2020 when we will have the bitcoin block halving which will be the catalyst for the next bull run.
